Great place when it's open but I feel like half the time I come here they're not of the kitchen is closed if they are open. I'm looking at a sign right now that says Monday-Friday Happy Hour 4-6. It's after 4 and nobody is working.

Had a great experience at Sherman Hops! We had a drink at the bar first, then later ordered food to enjoy on the patio upstairs. They had a great drink selection, and a decent amount of menu options. I ordered the Rueben which was pretty good, but the fries were the true star! I would have never thought you could make a "night out" out of your local Whole Foods! I will definitely be back here and bring friends! The only thing is that it was a little difficult to locate utensils/napkins etc. Once your food is dropped off to your table, you are on your own. The view from the patio is great though!

Best spot to grab brews & watch Sunday football. Jamie is an amazing bartender and the staff are so friendly. Be sure to catch the daily specials !

Seriously, new favorite bar/restaurant. Stopped in on Wednesday night for a quick bite to eat. The bar is so spacious and clean. Great vibe too. And the service was superb - Jamie was so cheerful and attentive! Hubby got the BBQ pulled pork sandwich - beer special. $12 for the meal and beer. Heard they have specials almost every day. Definitely going back! Best service and value in the valley!

I've been coming here for months now and this bar and the people who work here are the best kept secret in town. Jamie, TQ, Joe and Artur are the best servers in town and are a huge value to your company. All have great personalities and make the bar fun. Some of the best craft beer in town and the food is fantastic. $12 bucks for food and a beer during happy hour! Jamie's Blood Mary's are FIRE! One of the best I have ever had. Get them spicy with horseradish! Highly recommended!

Fantastic service and food! Great place for a quick lunch! The space is also super fun. Lots of outdoor and indoor space. Indoor not open yet, but will be soon. The fries are AMAZING!

Outdoor seating is nice, we went for happy hour 3pm on a Friday, wasn't too busy. Food is delicious, drinks are good. Prices aren't bad. Who thought date night would be going to whole foods!

Fish & chips. A little over fried but very fresh. The fries were perfectly cooked and very crispy

Went on a Sunday for a beer and some food after a shipping trip. I saw the board with weekend specials while walking into the store. Unfortunately, the staff at the register said there were no specials when i asked. She said specials are only for the weekdays. I was confused as i saw the sign below. Nevertheless, she didn't honor it and i wish the staff had been briefed as opposed to giving wrong info. They were also out of several beers on their menu but that's ok since it means that the beer will be fresh. The kitchen staff was very nice and my fish and chips were delicious.

It's a great place to gather and drink with friends and friendly strangers. It's bigger than you think, too, since besides the main room it has a mezzanine, a private room near the bathrooms, and an outdoor patio area. While they don't serve food, there are always food trucks or other food vendors there. I also love the community events they put on. And social clubs even have meetups here. It's just good vibes all around. And honestly, every beer I've had here has been amazing. I recently had a sour that I loved. They also have slushies and nonalcoholic drinks. Their NA mojito was great when they had it. Only tough part is the parking but if the lot is unavailable, there's usually street parking in the neighborhood or across Vineland at the meters. There is plenty of street parking around and the place is walkable. I visited this past Friday for the soccer game (Brazil Vs. Haiti) and noticed it was not extremely packed as it was the night prior (Mexico had won). Walked in and formed line to place my beer order. I went with "Big Screen Energy" IPA 8.2% imperial/double. I enjoyed this flavor so much that I ended up getting two more rounds later. Plenty of beer selection on tap and even wine. They offer indoor/outdoor seating as well as some space upstairs. Indoors they have a big screen, and the outdoor patio has a TV. Lastly, the upstairs area has a smaller TV. They also have rotating food trucks for anyone that develops hunger or cravings. They are pet and child friendly; very welcoming overall. I enjoyed visiting once again.

Deal with the Devil is my favorite IPA here. Ordering is easy, just go to the bar, place your order (check the paper menus by the register first), open a tab and they'll give you a number to put on your table. Wait for your food to arrive and enjoy! Don't forget the beers! For food, our go to is always their pizza (check out the cheese pull in my photos) and fougasse. Our kids love the pizza and plain curly fries. Chicken wings and their Caesar salad is good too! We miss the panna cotta they used to have. They were delicious! The cookies are a good substitute for that sweet craving after a meal. Parking can be difficult and stressful at times to find a spot. You'll have to drive around to find one. They have parking in front of the brewery, but it's VERY limited. We Uber with friends and family sometimes to avoid the stress of finding parking. Staff is always kind and always there to make suggestions on the beers they serve. Don't forget to take a photo in their photo booth before you leave! It's a small place and the decor didn't really feel like it matched the vibe, and the karaoke set-up was not very good. It was really hard to hear the backing music, even when you were the one singing, but this isn't the type of place that you come to "perform" for karaoke like a lot of other places in LA. It's very casual and low-pressure. Song choices were all over the place (which isn't necessarily a good or bad thing). Late night happy hour menu was decent and they offered it from 9pm on that night, and the place did get packed to standing room only. I had a hard time finding info on what their happy hour was before we went, so I took a picture to share. This was on 2/6/2026. The bartender, Brian, was very friendly, but I realized when looking at the emailed receipt afterwards that he switched one of my sibling's drinks on my tab, and I'm assuming mine got put on theirs. We have the same last name, so I understand the mix-up, but it would have been nice if he just asked about who was who instead of assuming, and it also would have been nice to see an itemized receipt before paying instead of just seeing the dollar amount we owed. Not a huge deal this time, just something that I hope they will keep in mind in the future. For food, my partner was able to get a pizza from a place across the street and bring it back into the bar, and Brian was kind enough to offer extra napkins. For other people with back problems, be aware that their bar stools do have back rests on them, but no cushions. We had a good time, and this bar seems to host special events regularly, which we may go back for eventually if the right one comes up, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back here.

I didn't have a good experience, but decided that it could have been a one-time bad luck thing, so I didn't review. I recently tried it again now that it became Brews Brothers, and I'm sorry to say that it really misses the mark for me. Here is the breakdown of the pros and cons: Pros: One star for friendly service and being dog friendly. One star for good alcohol. Cons: - Seating is very uncomfortable. When this place was Stout, seating was very comfy. But for some reason, they've raised the bench seating WAY too high, to the point that your feet dangle if you're under 5'6". You're WAY above the table, and it's awkward and quite uncomfortable. - Food is sub-par. We tried an Okie burger and an ahi sandwich. The Okie burger was dry, tasteless, and underseasoned. The ahi sandwich was bland and unremarkable. The fries were far too overbreaded for my taste. I used to love this place, but now, after two not-great experiences with meh food and bad seating, I do not think I'll be back. Please, guys! Lower your bench seating and improve your burgers! You're competing with Forman's and Laurel Tavern!

My husband and I stopped in on a Sunday for a quick drink before a movie, and the "vibe" was non-existent. They have four TVs at the bar, but the setup was bizarre, two were completely off and another was just frozen on a directory logo. The biggest issue, however, is the cleanliness--or lack thereof. The place is incredibly dirty. It feels like it hasn't had a deep clean in weeks, maybe longer. The bar top was disgusting, the floors were grimy, and even the woodwork looked like it hadn't seen a rag since opening day. They are charging $17 for "signature cocktails," which is bold for a spot that feels like a neglected dive bar. If you're going to charge premium prices, you have to at least wipe down the countertops. Service-wise, the bartender was friendly enough but low energy and minimal level of service. To make matters worse, a shift change happened while we were there, and the departing bartender made us close out our check and start a brand-new one with the next person. Why should the staff's administrative hand-off be the customer's issue? It's just unprofessional. The Valley has so many actual dive bars with character and plenty of high-end spots for a great cocktail; I'm not sure where this place is trying to fit in. It feels like someone bought it and just stopped caring. We won't be back.
