I'm not usually at breweries but went for a friends engagement party and this place was pretty nice. It was cool to have a section just for us for a couple hours and lots of heat lamps. I got their cider which was great. I do wish they had other ciders but overall it was nice

There's nothing wrong with spending a Saturday afternoon lounging. Listening to great music and of course a nice cold glass of beer.... I'm glad we found this place a while back and since then, it's a go to. Saturday afternoon, a nice crowd with people enjoying themselves. There were couples, groups of friends meeting up, a kids birthday party held in the back area. Sports fans enjoying the game in one of the rooms. How can this not be a fun place to hang out. The beer on taps are great. Not only that, they have an adult slushy machine. The service has always been great with friendly and welcoming staff. It's pet friendly which is great. Lovely seeing other groups out and about with their fur babies. Normally I only see one food truck, but today they had two. A wings truck and sushi truck. What a combo if I do say myself. The crowd are always mellow as we're all here for the same reason. Beer and good company. Plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. Back area also has a fire pit and games. Nice place for family's as we've always see kids. Plus there was a kids or baby birthday party this afternoon. Depending on the day/night, there's something going on. Something was happening Saturday night but we didn't stay for it. The music is always great. If you haven't been, i highly recommend stopping by for a beer and snack. There's always plenty of parking. Street parking in the neighborhood as well as a parking lot. Depending on if the trucks utilizes the lot or not. It's a good way to spend an afternoon or a night cap.

Cool place! I came here for their Oktoberfest and had such a great time. The vibe was lively but laid back, and I really love how welcoming they are to dogs-it makes the whole atmosphere feel even more fun and community-oriented. Great beer, great people, and definitely somewhere I'll be coming back to.

Came in on a weekday just after they opened and enjoyed some peace and solitude with a beer. Staff was very helpful in selecting just the right hazy IPA for me and I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. I can't wait to come back here again soon.

Got here on the tail end of the night we tried to get there earlier, but the parking was near impossible to find so we ended up elsewhere at first. The themed beers for St. Patrick's were good and the asada fries I'd definitely would come back for!

We hosted our company party at Lawless Brewing Co. and had a great experience overall. We reserved the beer garden for about 60 people, and the setup worked well for a large group. Kelly was fantastic to work with and helped coordinate everything leading up to the event. She went above and beyond by providing items we forgot, like serving utensils and a tablecloth, which made the night run smoothly. The space was family friendly and thoughtfully set up, with corn hole for the kids and heat lamps that kept everyone comfortable as the evening cooled down. The atmosphere was fun, relaxed, and ideal for a company gathering. A couple of things to be aware of. Parking was challenging on a Saturday night. The brewery is located in a neighborhood and has very limited on site parking, so street parking for 20 plus cars was difficult. The beer garden was also quite loud due to the food truck generators nearby, which made conversation harder at times. Overall, it was a great venue with excellent staff and a welcoming vibe. With a little planning around parking and noise expectations, it is a solid option for hosting a large group event. Thanks Kelly & team! -Your neighbors at THE Water Heater Company

I was walking along the trail and saw a nondescript sign "north Hollywood's oldest brewery" and was curious. Googled it and Lawless was a couple of blocks away. SUPER cute space! Very spacious with a downstairs, mezzanine, and outside. Parking was pretty simple down the street. I love that their menu has a taste option so you don't have to commit to a full drink you haven't tried yet. The server was very helpful and recommended some great ones. My partner is somewhat of a beer connoisseur so we got a taster flight to try. I was just there for the vibes. We tried the: Merchant Lager, Dankershim, Luminous Smog, & Lawless Latte. The merchant was an amber ale and it was his fave. My pick was the latte bc I'm way more a coffee fan than a beer fan and it was okay! He thought it was very sweet. They had a bunch of games so we played a couple and enjoyed our flights. The game box was a bit of a mess though. There was a bday party happening while we were there so it's good to know you can reserve it This particular night they had a food truck but I had already eaten so didn't get to try anything. I'll def be back!

Lots of families(kids), friends and doggos on a Sunday afternoon. The staff and regulars were all so welcoming to me my 4 month pup. They have nice Sunday drink specials (see photo). I like that this place is close enough to the arts district strip but far enough to be away from the chaos. According to one of the regulars they play all major sports on screens with sound. We'll be back to catch the Dodger games here.

Great beer and great service! It's a very laid back causal atmosphere where dogs are welcome both inside and outside. You can order at the counter or at your table with the QR codes on the table and they'll bring your beer out to you. It's a great spot to relax with your pup and meet up with friends.

By far one of my favorite brewery hangout spots in the Los Angeles area! Located in North Hollywood by the NoHo Arts District, it is a great space both inside and outside for hanging out and taking part in various community events and activities that are often held here! I love the beer flights you can order for around $15-20 with four different beer/wine/seltzers - that way I can try new ones while also enjoying a few of my tried-and-true staples! Everyone here is always very friendly, welcoming, and I've stopped by for various different events throughout the year. They occasionally have a little vegan food fair in the parking lot outside of the brewery, and there's also other marketplaces and activities from week-to-week. A true Los Angeles hidden gem in NoHo - I really hope they are able to stick around for a while! Definitely be sure to pay them a visit - I'm certain you'll enjoy it!

We purchased Eventbrite tickets to watch Practical Magic at the brewery. Note: Lawless is located in residential / warehouse street so you could miss it. Their parking lot is small & we parked on the street which was a bit hard to find parking because of the apartments and the event happening at the venue. They had a smash burger food truck (bomb by the way) parked in the lot, which limited parking space. It's a small brewery but they do have a variety of beers and they even have frozen sushi es. Those were good too. On this night, they happened to have cider. At 1st, I didn't like it but I have to say, I enjoyed it. They have wooden tables and they do have a patio outside. They have a 2nd floor the you can go up there to hang out & people watch. Love their service, they are so down to earth and chill. Not sure what to order? They can definitely recommend something that will suit your taste. The bathrooms are unisex & they are clean. They do have on going events and you can follow them on IG. We really enjoyed a girls night out & would definitely be back. Thanks guys!

Ask the Community - Lawless Brewing

Is their dedicated onsite handicapped parking and outdoor seating or is the parking lot used for seating or food trucks?

There is always dedicated handicapped parking, the food trucks are always towards the back area of the blacktop

    Is there any food here?

They don't have a kitchen but have food trucks that come in. Check their Instagram.

Hello, are we able to bring our own food? Also are children allowed on the premises? Lastly, we plan to be there with a party of 12 for a 40th birthday. Are reservations required?

You can bring your own food, there's also food trucks regularly. Kids are definitely allowed and welcome and reservations not required but I'm sure they wouldn't mind a call and heads up

Are dogs allowed inside the building? Or just on the outside patio?

Yes! Dogs are allowed inside, which makes this one of our favorite palces!

Hello! If I wanted to just have a group of about 8 people do I need to book an event/reserve table? Or is it a 1st come 1st serve basis?

Hi Ruby - for a group of that size, you can just come in! No reservation needed. Cheers!

Does this location do growler fills? If so, and I realize it would vary by beer, but about how much to fill a 32oz or 64 oz growler?

Hi Jamie! We do not currently offer growler fills, but we do offer fills of the majority of our beers in 32 oz crowler cans. Hope to see you at Lawless soon!

Do they take cash? (I see the barcode/Apple Pay option... but not sure if they also take cash)

Yes we accept cash. We encourage customers to pay with their phones through the QR codes, but can also accept cash at the register.

Can you bring in food? Or is there a food truck schedule?

Hello! Yes, we have a food truck every night. Our food calendar is on our website: https://lawlessbeer.com/taproom/… Read more

14 out 15 are vegan friendly Orange Grove contains a milk product.

The food had some highs and lows. The grilled cheese bites weren't what we expected at all, just a regular grilled cheese sandwich cut into small pieces and served with salsa. That said, the salsa was amazing and honestly saved the dish by adding much-needed flavor to an otherwise bland (though very cheesy) sandwich. The goat cheese salad was disappointing. It was overdressed to the point of soggy lettuce, and the portion felt pretty small for the price. On the brighter side, the garlic fries that came with the buffalo chicken wrap were incredible, full cloves of garlic and really bold flavor. Definitely the standout of the meal. The wrap itself was just okay: decent taste, but small and not particularly appetizing in presentation. Drinks were a win across the board. The guava strawberry cider was delicious, and the hazy IPA was also really enjoyable. Overall, there were some highlights, but not enough to make us eager to come back anytime soo
