Ended up coming here, since the place I was supposed to go to was closed till later, and have to say it worked out great. This spot is really chill, I go lucky with parking across the street, not sure how busy/hard it might be later in the day. The service was nice, I noticed that they really kept the place clean and kept walking around to pick up empty glasses. The atmosphere is chill, I've seen people with kids and dogs. They also have food trucks there, and one guy passes out some samples too for people to try. Honestly it was a good impression for the first time, can't wait to come again.

This is a very chilled brewery. Very laid back, bunch of dogs and kids on Saturday afternoon. A perfect spot to casually grab a few beers. There was a food truck on site when I was there but you can bring your own food and snacks. The double dry IPA was good too.

I spent my summer here watching the World Cup games, and it quickly became one of my favorite spots! The atmosphere was always welcoming, and the staff genuinely care about their customers. Everyone was friendly and made each visit enjoyable. My favorite drink is the Lawless Latte--it's absolutely delicious and a must-try. Highly recommend stopping by.

There's nothing wrong with spending a Saturday afternoon lounging. Listening to great music and of course a nice cold glass of beer.... I'm glad we found this place a while back and since then, it's a go to. Saturday afternoon, a nice crowd with people enjoying themselves. There were couples, groups of friends meeting up, a kids birthday party held in the back area. Sports fans enjoying the game in one of the rooms. How can this not be a fun place to hang out. The beer on taps are great. Not only that, they have an adult slushy machine. The service has always been great with friendly and welcoming staff. It's pet friendly which is great. Lovely seeing other groups out and about with their fur babies. Normally I only see one food truck, but today they had two. A wings truck and sushi truck. What a combo if I do say myself. The crowd are always mellow as we're all here for the same reason. Beer and good company. Plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. Back area also has a fire pit and games. Nice place for family's as we've always see kids. Plus there was a kids or baby birthday party this afternoon. Depending on the day/night, there's something going on. Something was happening Saturday night but we didn't stay for it. The music is always great. If you haven't been, i highly recommend stopping by for a beer and snack. There's always plenty of parking. Street parking in the neighborhood as well as a parking lot. Depending on if the trucks utilizes the lot or not. It's a good way to spend an afternoon or a night cap.

Cool place! I came here for their Oktoberfest and had such a great time. The vibe was lively but laid back, and I really love how welcoming they are to dogs-it makes the whole atmosphere feel even more fun and community-oriented. Great beer, great people, and definitely somewhere I'll be coming back to.

Came in on a weekday just after they opened and enjoyed some peace and solitude with a beer. Staff was very helpful in selecting just the right hazy IPA for me and I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. I can't wait to come back here again soon.

I'm not usually at breweries but went for a friends engagement party and this place was pretty nice. It was cool to have a section just for us for a couple hours and lots of heat lamps. I got their cider which was great. I do wish they had other ciders but overall it was nice

Lots of families(kids), friends and doggos on a Sunday afternoon. The staff and regulars were all so welcoming to me my 4 month pup. They have nice Sunday drink specials (see photo). I like that this place is close enough to the arts district strip but far enough to be away from the chaos. According to one of the regulars they play all major sports on screens with sound. We'll be back to catch the Dodger games here.

Ask the Community - Lawless Brewing

Is their dedicated onsite handicapped parking and outdoor seating or is the parking lot used for seating or food trucks?

There is always dedicated handicapped parking, the food trucks are always towards the back area of the blacktop

Is there any food here?

They don't have a kitchen but have food trucks that come in. Check their Instagram.

Hello, are we able to bring our own food? Also are children allowed on the premises? Lastly, we plan to be there with a party of 12 for a 40th birthday. Are reservations required?

You can bring your own food, there's also food trucks regularly. Kids are definitely allowed and welcome and reservations not required but I'm sure they wouldn't mind a call and heads up

Are dogs allowed inside the building? Or just on the outside patio?

Yes! Dogs are allowed inside, which makes this one of our favorite palces!

Hello! If I wanted to just have a group of about 8 people do I need to book an event/reserve table? Or is it a 1st come 1st serve basis?

Hi Ruby - for a group of that size, you can just come in! No reservation needed. Cheers!

Does this location do growler fills? If so, and I realize it would vary by beer, but about how much to fill a 32oz or 64 oz growler?

Hi Jamie! We do not currently offer growler fills, but we do offer fills of the majority of our beers in 32 oz crowler cans. Hope to see you at Lawless soon!

Do they take cash? (I see the barcode/Apple Pay option... but not sure if they also take cash)

Yes we accept cash. We encourage customers to pay with their phones through the QR codes, but can also accept cash at the register.

Can you bring in food? Or is there a food truck schedule?

Hello! Yes, we have a food truck every night. Our food calendar is on our website: https://lawlessbeer.com/taproom/…

Is the beer consider vegan friendly?

14 out 15 are vegan friendly Orange Grove contains a milk product.

Do they only serve beer or is there wine also? Bars games, like darts or shuffleboard? Thanks

They only serve their own products, and since they don't make wine, they don't serve wine. They're…

What is the parking situation?

There’s street asking as well as their own free lot.

With all the distillers upstairs and downstairs, the whole place pulls you into the experience the second you walk in. The food is honestly some of the best bar food I've ever had. This is bistro food, not your typical chicken fingers and frozen appetizers. The menu is always changing, which keeps things exciting, and everything feels like it was actually thought through. Service is what makes this place stand out even more. The owners genuinely care about the community. They're constantly popping in, saying hi, checking on guests, and making sure the food is coming out at its best. You can tell they're invested in the experience, not just the business. The ambience is awesome. Great energy, great crowd, and a beer selection that keeps me happy every time. I'm a huge sour beer guy and it's almost impossible to find bars with a solid sour selection, but they always have multiple options on tap, including some they brew themselves. A place that keeps getting better every time I visit.

Everyone is literally there to have a good time, doing their own thing. Like I want to say, this is a safe place (?) I don't think I've ever used those words to describe a bar before! There's an entire wall of board games for you to choose from. We played about 3 or 4 games? And each one had all the pieces, amazingly! This just goes to show you that the people that visit this establishment respect and care for the games, which is a reflection on the clientele itself. And of course, you're welcome to bring your own game as well. We got there a bit after opening so we were able to get one of the multi seater tables. When we left at 3PM, the place was packed! The bar seats were all taken and the outside seating was pretty filled too. So be sure to get here early if you're looking for a table. Got an order of the chicken tenders and sweet potato tots. The chicken tenders was alright. But the sweet potato tots were delicious! We also ordered drinks. The food didn't take long and the staff was friendly. Parking is strictly street parking. So don't go parking at the KFC lot next door. Honestly, this place is great! Check it out if you're looking for a spot to chill and hang out! Good people and good vibes all around!

Metered street parking is your only option. Neighborhood parking is permit only. Once the World Cup España vs Uruguay match and Love Island was being shown same time they only changed 3 TVs/ projection screens to Love Island while the ending of WC match aired. Volume was not changed they even provided subtitles since the audio was still showing the WC game. Once the game ended all TVs were switch to Love Island. And when love island episode ended they switch back to the next WC match. Everyone leaving negative reviews exaggerating the switch up to Love island are over reacting. Game changer social media promoted both World Cup AND Love Island watch parties. The Iron Sheik cocktail and the Margarita flight was very good. We had the Calamari and GCB Classic Flatbread with Chicken . Staff super friendly. Will be back for the Love Island Finale.

I didn't have a good experience, but decided that it could have been a one-time bad luck thing, so I didn't review. I recently tried it again now that it became Brews Brothers, and I'm sorry to say that it really misses the mark for me. Here is the breakdown of the pros and cons: Pros: One star for friendly service and being dog friendly. One star for good alcohol. Cons: - Seating is very uncomfortable. When this place was Stout, seating was very comfy. But for some reason, they've raised the bench seating WAY too high, to the point that your feet dangle if you're under 5'6". You're WAY above the table, and it's awkward and quite uncomfortable. - Food is sub-par. We tried an Okie burger and an ahi sandwich. The Okie burger was dry, tasteless, and underseasoned. The ahi sandwich was bland and unremarkable. The fries were far too overbreaded for my taste. I used to love this place, but now, after two not-great experiences with meh food and bad seating, I do not think I'll be back. Please, guys! Lower your bench seating and improve your burgers! You're competing with Forman's and Laurel Tavern!
