I recently discovered Bunny with a chainsaw at my local pub and immediately became obsessed. It is one of the best Hazy IPAs from the area so we decided to visit the brewery. The brewery is awesome and laid back. There's a food truck in front where you can buy burgers fries and other good eats. I tried a bunch of different brews but ultimately the bunny w a chain saw is still the best for me. Definitely recommend the beer flight (5) to try more options. Great place to hang out with friends or a date. Parking on the street was easy. read more

This is the best brewery in a non-traditional kind of way. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. The decor brings about a homey feel with couches, cabinets, and vintage decor. The staff is great; very knowledgeable about their beer selection and kind/patient as we asked a bazillion questions about their beers. My bf had their flagship Bunny With a Chainsaw and a light lager while I had a glass of wine (another great plus about this brewery, they have wine!). We also tried the smash burgers and it was A++. They hit a home run in everything! read more

Nice relaxing brewery. Many brews, mostly IPA/hazy, the Baby Bunny with a Chainsaw is a very nice New England IPA, and The Surrealist is a tasty Belgian golden sort of like Duvel without the frothy head. They gave me a sample without asking, nice service. Lots of goofy labels on their beers, reminiscent of comic books and pulp fiction. Met some friends here, my first time, we all really enjoyed ourselves on the front patio, brought our Pooches, they had a great time too. What a great beer assortment, something for everyone;Sours, Stouts, IPA's,Hazy's,Seltzers.. My fave is a Bourbon Barrel, Dark Star was great, not too sweet, Satan Wears Pajamas was a nice smooth Red Ale. I'll be back to try a flight of Hazy IPAS Next time. Came for Music Bingo trivia and it was cool. The game host was nice but she dragged the games out longer than they needed to be (every song was played for over a minute) and unfortunately we didn't get to finish the last game because the brewery was closing and she wasn't aware. It's a nice spot that has seating upstairs and downstairs and it looks like the upstairs area has a couple games - looked liked foosball and shuffleboard? The only downside is that they don't have their own kitchen or food menu but different food trucks/vendors are there on a regular to serve food. read more

We always have fun at paperback, it's a laid-back neighborhood type vibe that is unpretentious and friendly. I love sitting in the old airplane hanger and seeing the brewing vats in the background and enjoying the cold treats that came out of them. If you want food there's usually a food truck out front. Paperback beers have fun names and intricate comic art on their cans, and the ones we've had have all been great. They have comic-illustrated "library cards" so you can keep track of what you've tried. You can also buy cans to take home. The inside area is usually packed. There are picnic tables outside, some with umbrellas. Even at the busiest times, there's always a spot somewhere. The best part of Paperback is their partnership with Bun & Blanket smash burger truck. It's a permanent fixture outside the brewery, so you can get your fix every time you come. The best smash burgers I've ever had. To be noted: they do allow children and there are always families there. Also, parking is difficult to find in the area. read more

The beers are really good and they had a terrific Texas BBQ Popup that had incredible brisket, ribs, and pulled pork! The bar was busy but I never had to wait more than 30 seconds to a will poured cold beer in my hand. You also have a choice of several different types of seating, from the upstairs loft, to the downstairs bar stools and regular height tables, to outside seating in a nice little patio area. Brewery with a really fun space. Friendly beer tenders and solid beer. The shining aspect here is the meticulous design/ decor. I mean, it's really well done. I can see how people would want to hold small events here. As a matter of fact, I think there was a baby shower going on to the side as well as some random meet and greet on the upper level when my buddy and I got there. Later on, it looked like there was some friends/ family birthday in the same space as the earlier baby shower. It also helps that street parking is pretty easy to find in the area especially if you are okay with walking a block or two. In terms of design, there was clearly a theme in mind as there is an old timey pop art feel to the whole place as well as the labels on the beer. Like I mentioned above, I thought the beers were solid. I try not to be a beer snob, but I do have my favorites in the general area. So take my opinion with a grain of salt. This place is in a freaking hangar. Location is dope and there is always a food truck with either smash burgers or tacos. It's an IPA lovers paradise. All the drinks are pretty strong so it's not for the weak. They do have Belgians and a couple light beers but The Chainsaw Bunny with berries never fails. My friends and I (group of 11) went to this brewery after dinner on Friday, January 31st at around 10pm. The place was great and they had a good drink selection, however I am giving this a low rating because of an employee that was working that night (not Chris). I want to start this off by saying that we had a couple of kids with us, so we made sure to call the brewery beforehand to ask if children were allowed, and they said yes. After getting some drinks and settling down at a table, we had two little girls with us who were making a little bit of noise. A staff member came over and asked for them to keep it down because they didn't want other customers to leave, which was no problem for us because we had all agreed that they were being a little too loud. After the kids settled down, the same employee came over again not too long after and said directly to our two little girls, "if you be quiet, I'll give you a sticker" in a sarcastic tone. This was completely uncalled for since they were barely making any loud noises at this point. It was extremely rude and all of us there were pretty shocked and upset that someone would even talk to kids this way, especially with their parents sitting right there. I don't understand why this place advertises itself as kid friendly if the employees there won't be friendly with them, it doesn't make sense. It's already hard finding breweries that allow children and this one employee just had to ruin it for us. My friends and I definitely won't be back. read more

My friend and I happened upon this place from a recommendation from one of the patients I took care of. We had a blast. We met the owner, Brandon, and learned about the history of Paperback. This place opened during the pandemic and needs all the support it can get. This was a dream that Brandon worked towards for 12 years. The atmosphere was so relaxed and fun. There was a delicious food truck outside with amazing beers to order. The beers we're affordable and the place had a really nice vibe to it. This is definitely a place where people and come to decompress. They also have television screens where they stream sports and have really nice rock and roll music. There's also cute dogs at this place. It's always a plus when the place is dog friendly. I ordered the red ale and it was very delicious. Overall, if you want a really unique and lowkey place to hang out, this is it. They even have a fantastic beer garden outside. Street parking is available. read more

Feb 22, 2025 Came to paperback and met a very nice couple with a cute pug, he had a small accident. The guy of the couple immediately takes the dog outside to finish his business while the female of the couple immediately picks up the one small poop nugget. She did not leave any mess behind and it did not smell at all. Bartender pictured in this review immediately throws a temper tantrum about the situation and rudely tells the young lady "your dog can't be doing that in here" he then goes about spraying and mopping what little mess was even left behind which was really nothing at all. He does everything with a negative rude attitude and storming around the brewery. The young lady goes outside to accompany her BF and dog and at that same time this bartender comes and takes their drinks away even though they were not done drinking. He then had a piss poor attitude the rest of the time I was there. To top it off the other bartender and what seem to be there two friends sitting at the bar made this small situation bigger by pointing at the ground saying the mess is still there which it wasn't. These four guys made it clear they are not dog friendly at all to the patrons. The young lady and man did not come back in because of how rude this guy was. Won't be coming back due to poor negative immature attitude by this bartender. Again the couple immediately took action of their dog and cleaned up after him and discarded the waste right away. Accidents happen and this was a very small accident that took place. But how this bartender acted and treated the couple is not right at all. Bartender is childish and needs to grow up. I do not recommend this place to anyone with pets. read more

And the seating has both two-seaters, more-seaters and even like circley (upstairs) of comfy chairs for bigger groups too! -Flight: the beer was tasty, there actually wasn't a favorite I had necessarily. But they did taste different which is always nice for options and a flight. -Crowler: smaller than a growler (it's not a typo) and comes in a big 32 oz can (like full on, once you pop it you can't reuse it BUT it looks pretty danggg cool). Didn't get to try more (the food truck outside) as we came by for just a quick pit stop before having to head out, but again loved the layout and it was really fun : ) read more

Paperback was on my list of local area breweries to check out and I saw they had a Groupon deal for a sampler and crowler deal-there was a deal for 2 so I texted my buddy real quick to see if he was interested and then bought the double deal then went there a few weeks later. Right away, I liked the place, it had that kind of throwback vibe that their artwork had. Instead of sitting at the bar or in their banquette space I quickly sat in front of their 'rumpus room' area, for lack of a better term. The space had a very Brady Bunch rec room vibe; they had era appropriate media equipment. My buddy came late but it let me sit and sample without pulling out my Groupon. I usually don't go into too much details about individual beers, but I had this fruit smoothie beer that was just terrible-it was a collab with another brewery that usually does this style pretty well and it was just awful. However, Paperback's focus is on IPAs and the majority of their output, which is a style my friend doesn't like. I assume he would just sample politely then bequeath his crowler to me since I imagined that he wouldn't find anything he liked enough to take home. To PB's credit, he actual found a beer he liked which WAS an IPA. My jaw hit the floor at that because while it wasn't a hop bomb it definitely tasted like an IPA. read more

Super cool spot. Wonderfully decorated and excellent service. Everyone was so friendly and gave great beer recommendations. The patio to the side is very cute and has cozy picnic table vibes. I love the music and lights. They have a food truck out front that seems to be very popular, we only tried french fries. This is an awesome brewery.
