Lively and great outdoor space, inside is a little dark. Great DJ in the afternoon we visited. Pizza was delicious, love the name.

Beer - good variety of choices and refreshing flavors. The only caveat is the ABV; could be higher, but that's just my personal choice. Also, if you're lactose intolerant, check with the server about which beer has lactose. It was too late for me and I paid the ultimate price, or rather my wife did... Service- excellent and efficient. Got our beer quickly everything. Restroom - clean Parking - street parking. Hard to find at primes times. Additional notes - if Tripp Burgers is there, order the triple one. We'll worth the money.

Painkiller Milkshake IPA and The Wingman's Kitchen sandwich- highly recommended !

Stopped by Frogtown Brewery (AGAIN) and wow -- the Painkiller Milkshake IPA is OMG good. Super smooth, tropical, and dangerously drinkable. (Comes in 4-packs too) Great laid-back vibe, friendly staff, and a perfect spot to hang out. Definitely coming back for that one again.

Lites out 16 oz

Your small to medium-sized brewery that provides bar seating, tables for groups of 2-4 people, and there were a few group tables that were reserved. By the time I went, there was a tent in front of the brewery selling freshly made oven-baked pizza. Service was pretty fast, like your standard 5-10 min order. There will be a good amount of people at brewery so there's a chance you might just stand around. Parking on the street, very limited; you would have to walk over. There's a unisex restroom provided. There are options to try a wide assortment of flights, to order a wine slushy, which is a fun option. Lites out 16oz beer: Like the name suggests, the beer is on the light side, carbonated throughout to leave a crisp, refreshing taste.

Great staff, huge brewery in a pretty cool random street. Mostly IPAs, a small selection of lighter beer and they were great! They provide food trucks in lieu of a kitchen, we had Tripp's burgers as the food truck. Cool to see the kegs and back of house areas all together. Very animal friendly, cute playful cat lives there and they welcome dogs in their huge outdoor patio. Would give five stars for the beer quality and laid back vibe. Parking is street only and very competitive during busy times. Gave it 4 stars for the limited parking and food options, so do not come hungry since it depends on the food truck that visits (see separate review).

Kinky Blonde Ale and Survey Says Lager

Nice brewery with lots of seating. I was expecting more options for dark beers, but there was only one. I tried the Kinky (Blonde Ale), Survey Says (Mexican-Style Lager), and Captain Fox (Irish Red Ale). The blonde ale and lager were good. The red ale had a smooth caramel taste, definitely on the sweeter side. They also had a food truck and the tacos were amazing!

Chill vibe with great craft beers! We celebrated our dear family's milestone birthday. There is an outside patio area, food truck in the front and plenty of more seating indoors. We sat at the large table with booth chairs inside. My first thought was how cute, cozy and warm the atmosphere was. There are cool decorations and merchandise for sale. The staff was friendly, made great recommendations and were attentive in clearing out items from the tables. There's a variety of light, hoppy, malty/dark beers and non-alcoholic options. I ended up ordering a Build your own flight with 4 different beers including: Kinky, Lights Out, Jo Jo's Jam (this was my favorite), and Captain Fox. There are game boards you can borrow and play. The kids ate pizza from Frogtown. We ordered tacos, fries, and wings from Arenita food truck in front. There's a self serve water station and a unisex bathroom (very clean) inside. Many people biked there and others brought their dogs. Street parking.

The outdoor seating area.

Echo Park is very fortunate that this brewery is in the neighborhood. Every variety I've tried is magnificent. I've been there several times and I'm always greeted by a terrific staff who are not only knowledgeable about the craft brews they serve, but are as nice as can be. Nora and Will recognized me and that makes it an even more pleasant experience. I was so taken with this business that I actually became a member of their Frogtown society. Now when I come in, they always serve me in a special member only Glass. Now that I'm a member, I get invited to special private parties that they throw as well as being among the first to experience new varietals they are brewing. Jonathan, a master brewer, was in and I told him that he makes the best Porter I've ever had and I'm picky about Porters. He was so taken with my thoughts on his 2024 Prince George blend, five minutes later he came out of the back with a 2022 Prince George that he wanted to share with me. The 2022 is no longer available but this was from his private stock and the taste was out of this world. I was told later by Ian that Jonathan was very touched by what I said to him about his brew because what he did for me doesn't happen every day. Treat yourself. This is one brewery that really cares about their product outside of their door, there is always either a food truck or pop up food service that is always delicious and fair priced. Thank you Jonathan, Nora, Will and Ian. I love being part of the Society!

Zombie sour & Stratosphere

Parking is hard to find, they don't have their own parking lot. The vibes are super chill; I love the old school music that they play. The music is loud enough so you don't hear other peoples conversations but are able to converse with your partner easily. Their flight pack is definitely worth it & something I would start with before ordering a full sized drink My favorites were the tiki zombie (sweet& sour) & the stratosphere (hoppy & herb tasting)

The beers are great. Nice indoor and outdoor space. Inside can be warm in the summer. The food truck ran out of food by 6:30 on a weekend which wasn't ideal. Luckily tons of places deliver from nearby. We had quite the spread and they kept serving us beer outside.

Lizelle G.

Inside and outside areas are so cute. I love how there's a food truck right outside of the place to order food. The beers were amazing. One of the servers told us about that Underberg shot that was sitting at the counter so we wanted to try it out. If you don't like black licorice flavor, do not try it lol other than that, it was my first time going with a friend and we both enjoyed it

Cristina G.

I'm not a beer fan but boy oh they have great beer selection:) It was my first time here last night and I can't wait to return! Friendly staff, great indoor & outdoor space, kid/pet friendly. If you want a relaxed & laid-back scene, This is your place :) It's Frogtown's hidden little gem!

Pitcher of Pain Killer
Carrie A.

We're not from around these parts so you know the. EER is good if we drive 40-45 min for a cold one. Get the Pain Killer, you won't regret it! Servers are really good, they are patient and will advise you if you don't know what to get. The food trucks are always a hit too. There's plenty of seating for big groups too.

The place has a really cool, laid-back vibe spacious, industrial style, and super inviting. It got busy, but the staff handled it well and were friendly the whole time. I don't drink, but my friends all grabbed beers and kept saying how good they were (they're definitely known for their craft beers). Everyone was happy, which says a lot! I just enjoyed the atmosphere and the energy of the crowd. There's plenty of seating, clean bathrooms (always important), and even a separate room with a stage, so it looks like they host live music and events too. Big plus: it feels like a great spot to hang out after a run or meet up with friends. I've also heard they often have food trucks, which makes it even better. Overall, great vibes, good service, and a fun place to unwind. Would definitely come back with the group!

Great Vibes, Games, Karaoke & Churros -- We'll Be Back…read more Came to check out Boomtown Brewery with my boyfriend and had such an awesome time. Even on a soggy, rainy day, this place delivered great vibes. We arrived a bit early and got to explore both rooms, which was a fun experience in itself. The first room had karaoke, long tables and benches, cozy sofas, dart machines, a photo booth, games, and restrooms. It's also very pet-friendly--as long as your dog is leashed. They even have water bowls for pets, which we loved. The second room to the right has board games, two pool tables, high tops, more seating, sofas, and the main bar. The whole space has a rustic, industrial feel with lots of cool hanging plants, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Everyone was friendly and kind. There was a food truck on site, and we also got lucky with a mobile churro vendor called Hippie Churro--we ordered two churros (one strawberry-filled and one plain), and they were delicious. $7 well spent. We enjoyed a michelada and an IPA, played Jenga, listened to music, and caught some karaoke performances. Overall, an amazing night with great energy and a solid setup for hanging out, playing games, and just enjoying the moment. We'll definitely be back soon.

Finding Hidden Gems: Art District Brewing in Little Tokyo, LA…read more One of my favorite rituals when traveling is hunting down the best local breweries -- and Los Angeles did not disappoint. Tucked away in the vibrant heart of Little Tokyo, Art District Brewing instantly caught my attention. The atmosphere alone made it worth the visit, with that perfect blend of industrial cool and neighborhood charm that only LA seems to pull off. The tap selection was impressive -- thoughtfully curated and clearly crafted with intention. But honestly? The food is what stole the show. I always love leaning on a server's recommendations, and this time it paid off beautifully. The chicken tenders arrived golden, perfectly crispy on the outside, and impossibly juicy within. These weren't your average bar bites -- they were the kind of dish that makes you pause mid-conversation just to appreciate the moment. Whether you're a craft beer obsessive or simply someone who appreciates great food in a great setting, Art District Brewing belongs on your LA itinerary. Next time you find yourself wandering Little Tokyo, do yourself a favor and walk through those doors. You can thank me later.

Good service, really great beer and cider, nice atmosphere, decent bar food. The location is near the Chinatown Metro station, so we walked the 0.2 miles. Everyone goes the opposite way from that station, going to Chinatown. Instead, we went the opposite way. It's the second time I've gone east from that station, walking on N Spring Street (used it once to go to Majordomo...HPB is a lot closer). Learnt that it's better to keep on the west side of Spring (next to the park), rather than cross immediately. The homeless encampments are really built up on the East side, fully occupying the sidewalk, making you walk in traffic. It's a pretty industrial part of the city, with a bit of street parking near the brewery. It was already fairly busy less than an hour after opening on a Saturday. It's 'sit-yourself', with both outdoor and indoor seating. There are multiple lines where you can place both your food and beer order. Beers are given right away, with food being delivered to your table later. Ended up placing my entire order at once, closing it out immediately. They use Toast as their payment processor, making it easy to get a digital receipt. Rattlesnake Wit Pitcher ($33) - enough for 4 pints. Witbier is my favorite style, and this one really hit the mark for me. Extremely light and fresh. Will seek this out to see if the cans are as good as the draught was. Granada Sincere Cider ($12) - my wife enjoyed her draft apple cider. Three food items, all pretty solid. Fish Chips appetizers ($18.50) used smaller cod pieces, well fried with decent fries. The Chips & Queso ($7.25) came out first: not a huge amount, but thick greasy chips that tasted good in the homemade yellow queso. Our cashier suggested animal cheese wedges ($12) - sidewinder french fried potatoes, covered in a chipotle sauce with grilled onions. It was tasty. All the bathrooms (three I think) are private gender neutral, with a common sink for washing. It got more and more crowded as we sat, and by the time we left an hour later, all the tables were taken. Popular place on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.
