Ambiance is super cool with all the murals and hip hop records along the walls. It's very small, but it works. This is my all-time favorite craft beer, I rarely buy anything else now and this location gives me another place to go when I don't drive out to Anaheim or Torrance. They have a variety of craft beers to choose from like belgians, lagers, stellar stouts, West coasts and my personal favorites, hazy double and triple dry hopped ipas.

So great to see Monkish Brewing opening a tap room in Echo Park! They've got about a dozen taps of their fantastic beer here, and several cans and bottles to go. Their smallish indoor space opens onto a much larger patio, similar to their Torrance and Anaheim spots. They're located in the back of a row of storefronts on Sunset. You can't see the front door from the street. There's a small parking lot in front. Further good news is that they're bringing in Eric from Anaheim to run the tap room. Some of you will remember when he was a bartender in Torrance before taking on Anaheim. Glad to see them officially in LA!

I couldn't be more pumped for this 3rd location! Congratulations Henry & Adriana! LA NEEDED THIS!! Wish you and the team all the success!

Monkish makes the best beer. Full stop. If that's not enough, they have the best music. They provide great service. What else do you want? Now they're this close to Dodgers Stadium?! This is an absolute must stop for any beer fan and any Dodger fan. Figure the parking situation out, but if you want the best hazy ipa, the best west coast IPA, or even the best stout (if you're lucky) around, this is your spot. I love that Monkish opened up here. I will be here before and/or after every Dodger game.

Great hazy ipas and monkish Belgian style beers with amazing service and sunshine... what more do you need? The newest monkish spot soft opened this week and is a welcome addition to town. There are some bar seats, standing indoor bar spots, and a few tables on an outdoor friendly patio. This place is all about the DDH Double IPAs and Belgian style sours and saison. There are a couple other options that were available on our visit including a hard seltzer, stout, and lager. The place is laid back. No food so bring something along if you're hungry.

Monkish is finally open in Echo Park!!! Angelenos are stoked since they don't have to drive all the way down to Torrance anymore. This small taproom is right on Sunset in a crowded area, so it's going to benefit from a ton of foot traffic and will be packed for dodger games. Small parking lot and difficult street parking, so I highly recommend Ubering to and from. Located in the back of a strip mall / parking lot so not visible from the street. Outdoor patio and alley, small indoor taproom. Extensive beer menu and lots of cans to go. Incredibly excited about this place opening only two miles from Highland Park Brewery so now we have access to the top two breweries in the county. Definitely check this place out!

All about the Boomtown Brewery!…read more This Arts District favorite is a beat away from Union Station where I typically make my way over from to enjoy all the good good that Boom has to offer. Located on Jackson Street between N Vignes Street and Center Street (but actually on the corner on Vignes) you can find local street parking throughout the area, but nothing beats a train ride or a ride share to enjoy responsibly. Always have a great time here on the inside or their long patio with flat screens outdoors (as well as in) to catch the latest events. DJs always spinning the best beats. The brewery where the make the magic is pretty spacious yet intimate. Was able to go on a tour here and learn more about the ins and outs. The taproom is stellar for group hangs and socials. Pool tables, photo booth, arcade style games, loungey area, communal seating, and local food vendors who come out and serve up great eats. Not as many vegan friendly spot, though the few that are on select days and times are pretty solid. If you're an IPA enthusiasts they have at least 6 on the rotation including the Nose Job (7% abv) and a personal fav. Their Hydration Break WC IPA, is a little more of India Pale Ale punch (7.4%), but you can't go wrong with any. Flights are still a recommend if you want to feel out the variety. For Hard Seltzer lovers, you've got the Frosty Fresco or Al Fresco. Fruit Snacks Lager is surprisingly epic as is the Brett Michael's Blonde Sour. I do miss some of their more seasonals such as the red lager aka Part-Time Lover but do enjoy all that's on the rotation. You can pop in for events like Friday Karaoke, Tuesday Taproom Trivia or Open Mic Mondays. Book a private event for all style of events. Family and pet friendly until 7pm. Beer and wine packages available with up to 300 person capacity. No matter the day... Still come for the beer, stay for the cheer. Take in the rustic decor, artsy vibes outdoors. Planty vines and nothing but things that make you thrive. Boomtown Brewery always gets me feeling the good vibes.

We had hella rounds of Las Palmas on Draft and signed up for the karaoke list. It was jumping obviously so the list was long and sadly hadn't got called after maybe 2 hours there lol. We ended up getting some cookies from an indoor stand a vendor had set up inside. They were good af. Overall it's a laid back cool spot to down a few rounds with friends, and we did end up singing along a lot of times... so we kinda got a performance in lol. Some performers clearly outshined others but was a good time! I also liked that it's a dog friendly establishment so best believe I got some good pets in with the furry friends. Definitely would come back to try making the list earlier another time. Cool find!

My friend and I came with the intention of having a chill little Sunday, and somehow we ended up having the BEST time. It was super crowded, so we just committed and started ordering pitchers of beer . We ended up meeting so many cool people, made new friends, and stayed way longer than we originally planned. The whole place has such a fun, laid-back, social vibe. They also have a really cool photo booth, adorable chill cats hanging around, and they're always hosting fun events, so there's actually a reason to keep coming back. The only thing I'll say is parking can be a pain in the ass, but I mean... you're near LA, so what do you expect? Honestly, the vibes here completely make up for it. Good beer, chaotic bingo, new friends, cats, and a fun Sunday crowd... literally what more could I ask for? I already can't wait to come back!

I enjoyed this flavor so much that I ended up getting two more rounds later. Plenty of beer selection on tap and even wine. They offer indoor/outdoor seating as well as some space upstairs. Indoors they have a big screen, and the outdoor patio has a TV. Lastly, the upstairs area has a smaller TV. They also have rotating food trucks for anyone that develops hunger or cravings.
