I really enjoyed this place. Its located right by Rossoblu. Large indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of people were sitting around the live band to enjoy the music and beer. Good amount of TVs and board games too to get entertained. Would come back.

My friends and I decided to check this place after we had dinner. Firstly, it's such a beautiful space. There's an outside patio with seating and there's lots of tables inside too. It's super clean and really inviting. They have a lot of options for beers. My husband got the Neon Cylinders (sour) and I ordered a lager. Both were really good. Our servers were super nice and quick to take/give our orders. It's a great spot to hangout with friends. I'll definitely come back if I'm in the area.

Spacious, friendly spot in the middle of DTLA with a great mix of beers on tap. I tried the DTLA IPA and the Classic City Lager--both were excellent, crisp, and super fresh. The patio is big, relaxed, and dog-friendly, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. No kitchen, but you can order food from nearby spots and it comes right to your table. Perfect place to hang out with friends or stop by for a casual pint and to watch a Dodger game. 4 stars as I need to come back again

Came to have black-owned beer- Crowns & Hops at Creature Comforts! Beautiful open space, lots of seating, bomb beer and vibes, DJ was killing it! This might be one of my fave breweries for the summer. Already messaged all my friends and will be back with them!

The space is great, but the beers were lacking in flavor. I'll swing by again if I'm ever in the area.

    Large patio area.

I just found out about Creatures of Comfort while doing a brewery hop with some friends in downtown LA. The beer is on point, Los Angeles has a lot of craft breweries now so if taste and variety of beer is your top preference when decided what brewery to visit in LA I can assure you they'll live up to expectations. The other thing i really like is the size of this location. The inside has some nice lounge like seating on the opposite sides of the bar, and outside. Very spacious patio area that's perfect for large groups like you'd see at Boomtown or Angel City. The service was great as well, about 30 of us showed up around 9pm on a Friday and the staff took care of everyone orders with no issue. Very friendly and welcoming. A great addition to the craft beer scene in LA.

Big open space indoors and outdoors. Parking may be a little difficult. Beers were good too

If you're nearby at the Santee alley and thirsty check this place out. Came by to have one for the road before heading home. Ordered a Tritonia sour cucumber and lime gose. Nice and crisp refreshing drink. Service was great not much of a wait. Open space and patio area to enjoy your drink. Has a few TVs for your viewing pleasure. There is also a beer to go fridge if you want to enjoy the Creature Comforts Brewing at home.

First time here. When we first arrived the line was not offensive...still long. Just two working behind the counter and a single file line. I ordered two stouts to try. Liked them. My guy ordered a sour passion fruit and guava. He really enjoyed. So much so that he wanted a second pour and maybe some to go. We waited for the line to die down, but it just grew longer. They definitely left money on the table because we couldn't have been the only people discouraged by the wait. More staff, different ordering procedures (maybe QR codes at the table?) While the beers were delicious, I do recommend, but be prepared go a 25-30 min wait. You see that line. It wraps around.

A good half the time I come down here, this place is just randomly closed. Today is one of those days. There's no sign, nothing -- the place is just shut tight. The security guard says that every Friday, the open at noon, but today, they're closed. People are inside working, but they're closed. Why even bother patronizing a place like this that doesn't bother keeping regular hours? They're open when they feel like it. Luckily there's so much to do in the vibrant neighborhood they're located in, right? Oh, wait -- they're in the middle of the Garment District netherworld, with nothing around. Congratulations, Creature Discomforts. You're officially the worst brewery in L.A.

Came here early for a beer day with friends. This is a Really fun and spacious brewery in the fashion district of downtown LA. Plenty of metered street parking, and there's also valet but I think it's for the restaurants located in the area. This spot has a good selection of beers, fun and friendly staff, board games, and the mandatory cornhole sets. An even bigger plus it's dog friendly.

What a great brewery! The staff is great and the beer is definitely solid in my opinion. Great price and plenty of parking a minute away. I will definitely be back! Also great tunes

    Sherry T.

Cool, relaxed brewery with warehouse vibes. They had a good variety of beers and you could get 5 oz to try a few. I do not recommend coming here when the fashion district sells clothes on the street. Free street parking on a Sunday was hard to come by. I'm sure when the area is quiet, it's easy to find parking. I would come back if I was nearby. The Fashion District area is a bit grungy though. I'm still puzzled how this city market south hipster area is still around since I don't find the Italian or Latin American restaurants that outstanding.

I've had my brother and several friends say that it's good and since we were closer to this area for a pop up event, we dropped by and I finally had a chance to try it. We visited during the final game of the World Cup, so there was no more indoor dining, but there's a couple bench tables outside at the side of the building. Part of the building shades over the seating, so even on a pretty hot day, this worked in a pinch and there was a slight breeze too, thank goodness. Staff was helpful and and answered our questions. They also brought our order out to the tables outside, which was nice. They also took our trash and tray back when we were done too. Each table has ketchup, brown and spicy mustard if need be. Inside, you order and pay at the cashier, grab a number, and they bring it to you. There's a bunch of sausage links on display, as well as the sodas and you can see some of the beer that they have too. For our Sunday lunch, we got the: 1) Sunset Zero soda: -It's an imported German soda. Love that there's a zero sugar version. It's a citrus cola with ending vanilla notes. Way better than some of the orange Pepsi/Pepsi Fire they ran in the past. Nice to try. 2) Rattlesnake & Rabbit with Jalapeno Peppers: -Unique combination of predator and prey meats all encased into one sausage. Also, not often you can get these meats as well. -Slight spicy kick to it from the jalapenos and rich, buttery texture of the meats together. -Each hot dog comes with 2 toppings and we got caramelized onions and sauerkraut with this which added a nice sour and sweet taste to it too. -I liked this the most of the 2 of them. 3) Pheasant with Herbs de Provence: -Nice savory flavor, but I was a fool and ordered this with the sweet and spicy peppers as a topping since they were different from the other toppings we got and I mostly just tasted the bitter aftertaste of the peppers that sort of overpowered the meats. My mistake if anything since the bites with just meat and mustard were delicious. 4) Groot of Belgian Fries: -Huge serving, way too much for 2 people especially with 2 hot dogs and we sadly could not finish it, but at the very least it came with 2 dipping sauces. -Before ordering this, I didn't groot referred to anything other than a Marvel character. -Fries had a rich, deeper flavor than standard fries, nice slight crispiness. We got it with curry ketchup and sundried tomato mayo. The tomato mayo was fine, definitely a lighter flavor and since the fries tasted so rich on their own, I feel like the curry ketchup was a more flavorful and better match. I love a good hot dog, so being able to try it with more exotic meats, flavors, and sauces makes it definitely worth stopping by.

First visit to this fun establishment. Cute front patio with umbrella covered tables, inside…read moreseating area, and a huge beer garden out back. Parking is on street only and can be challenging. Service was excellent, starting with Dylan who waited on us and was helpful, patient, and super friendly, as were the rest of the staff that chipped in throughout our visit. DRINK: Extensive German beer menu, but also cocktails, and non-alcoholic selections. We ordered a bottomless cup of Coffee ($4), a .4L Reissdorf Koelsch ($8.50), stein of Hacker Pschorr Weisse ($19), and a stein of Paulaner Oktoberfest ($19). FOOD: We started by sharing a Sausage Platter ($17) which came with 3 sausages, 3 mustards, and some sliced pickles. For our entrees, we tried the Beef Rouladen ($26) served over mashed potatoes, and the Jäger Schnitzel ($28), served with 2 sides. NOTE: The schnitzel was $5 more than shown on the menu. I asked about their Spaztel which the chef said was one of their specialties. He brought us a small sample, and it was delicious! We finished it off with Apple Strudel with Vanilla Ice Cream ($12.50). The flavors were very good, although some of the preparations were a little different than I'm used to. I'm half German and my mother is full, so we think we know German cuisine very well. All in all, it was a great experience and we will definitely be heading back for more!

What a wonderful experience our family had at Kiez Küche & Beer Garden…read more There were nine of us, and we arrived during a World Cup game, so the whole place was buzzing with energy and fun. Our family is German, so we know good German food....and let me just say, they nailed it, my friends. The Jägerschnitzel was the best I've ever had (sorry, Oma). The cucumber salad, red cabbage, appetizers, and beer were all fabulous. And the desserts? Absolutely heavenly. The apple strudel was even better than the one I had at one of the finest restaurants in Berlin, and the bread pudding was a warm ambrosia. I was honestly surprised to see a couple of reviewers taking off stars for the most dumb stuff, because our experience was outstanding from start to finish. The service, the food, the atmosphere...all of it was on point. If you're looking for authentic, delicious German food in a lively, welcoming setting, Kiez Küche & Beer Garden is absolutely worth a visit. Such a memorable meal and experience for our family. We will be back!!!!
