Just as good as I remembered. Enjoyed a flight of beers and a cider slushy. The Japanese rice beer, triple , and cider slushy were my favorites. It was wonderful sitting outside surrounded by Dodgers fans on the way to a game, regulars, and the resident cats.

Very cool spot. I went for their Apple fest. Specialize in ciders... they had maybe 10 or 15 different ones. Nice bar area and outdoor space. They have different food trucks rotating and events. If I lived closer I would def come regularly. They also have two cats.. they had pretty cool merch with them on it.

This place is so sweet. The staff were super chill, music was banging. The outdoor heaters feel so good. Best of all, the brews. Mmmmh mmmh! I had the Brewery Cat Japanese Lager (yum) and the Devil's Umbrella (apple cider that had habanero, WOW). Love trying unique beer and cider. And they really do have brewery cats! If I were coming out of the LAC General Hospital this would be my first stop (jk)

If you're into beer and love a good keekee, this might just be your kind of place. I came here to celebrate my coworker's birthday and ended up having a really good time. They have a plethora of beers (yes, plethora), TVs to catch the game, great service, and vibes that were honestly unmatched. I personally didn't drink this time, but my friend tried the Base Sour and the Lincoln Heights Lager and was very pleased--no complaints, no side-eye, nothing but good things. Now, quick disclaimer: they also have cats in the establishment. Yes... real ones. So if you're allergic or not a fan of unexpected feline coworkers, you may want to sit this one out And lastly, parking is a bit of a sport. Be prepared to circle the block a good 2-3 times like you're qualifying for the Olympics. Other than that, pull up, grab a drink, and enjoy the vibes

We love coming here lots of great options for beer and cider. But the main reason we keep coming back as for the cats.!! They are so cute and well behaved with so much chaos going on around them. Service is very nice and fast as well.

We went this past Thursday and had some amazing beers and ciders. The burritos, quesadillas and tacos from Jays pop up were delicious and the sauces were fire. Our dog, Lola, likes this place and we love the cats.

Nice selection of beer and ciders. I loved all the ciders! The flights are fun to make. Well priced. Quick service and everyone looks like they enjoy working there. The brewery has a very large seating area! There were three parties going on when we were there and it didn't feel crowded at all. Say hello to the brewery cats!!! They are so cute!

Checked out Benny Boy brewing for their ciders. It's a fun space with two sides, one for beer and one for ciders, and open space in the middle for live music, tables, and food trucks. Best part is that you might catch the two cats roaming around. They feature a variety of ciders with an option to do a taster flight. While I wanted to try the Roxy and Mango ones, I ended up getting the green tea one which did have a faint green tea flavor. We came on a night of a Dodgers game so it was pretty busy. They have cool merch and cute posters/signs. It is tucked away under a bridge and does have a parking lot out front. But if its full, there wasnt a lot of street parking options.

Signage, can be seen from the 5 freeway

What a fun brewery space located in a little section in LA right off of the 5N. You can't miss the signage from the freeway and it's actually what caught my interest as it had advertised one of its many events hosted at the brewery, Chick S**t Bingo. My bf and I decided to go on a Sunday when they held this specific event as it was the last of the year (the Chicken S**t Bingo only happens on Sundays during the summer). There is no lot to park, and only valet parking available (the placard showed $17 on one side and $20 on the other). We decided to park about 1.5 miles away in another lot and hoof it. So definitely carpool or Lyft there. Benny Boy Brewing is tucked away off of Daly St parallel to the 5N. There are two sides of it, the brewery side and the cider house side. We chose the cider house as we orefer that over beers. Love the open air design and space of the Cider House, large wooden tables, casks line and walls as well as the tanks in the back. They had so many choices of cider but we went with the Cider Slushie and the Green Tea Cider. The Green Tea Cider was refreshing slightly bitter (not a bad thing) and had a subtle tea flavor. The Cider Slushie was our favorite though. The flavors change and at the time we went it was a wildberry cider slush. It was refreshing on a hot day and the most popuplar as almost everyone I saw walking away from the bar was getting one. We didn't try the food trucks set up and it seems that those change as well. The event was very interesting and I'd call it more Chicken S**t Roulette than Bingo. The event went from 3pm - 5pm and basically you purchase squares with numbers 1-72. Once all tickets are sold for a round they introduce a chicken to a pen and wait for it to poop on a square, winner gets $100. It did feel a bad and hope the chickens weren't stressed being put in the pen surrounded by people. Their website had a good number of various events that we're looking to checkout in the future and it's such a great way to invite more business rather than it simply being a brewery/cider house. Definitely going back for those events and try our more ciders.

Lincoln heights is not normally my stomping grounds but when my friend told me about an oktoberfest themed celebration happening in September nonetheless. I was intrigued. While being next to the 5 freeway, it surprisingly doesnt have that much noise pollution from the cars. Coupled with Live bands, it would feel like any other brewery. Upon entering the brewery, you get this midwestern farm town vibe i would say. It's a nice change of pace from being in the city most of the time. So I had ordered both the oktoberfest beer, kolsch, and the partnered cider they had with their partner which was calamansi flavored. I didn't get more than 2 as I needed to be a responsible adult and skedaddle safely home. the kolsh had a nice caramel profile to it, while also being light for a beer. the calamansi cider their partner makes is dangerous. It has such a refreshing calamansi note that you wouldn't think it would be alcoholic. I also ordered the schnitzel plate that a 3rd party served out for $18. I personally wasn't a huge fan of it because the sides were mac & cheese and potato salad. Both of which was extremely american. The schnitzel itself was generally bland in taste, the breading didn't have enough seasoning. Parking wise, there is valet parking but there's also street parking you just have to be mindful of the signs. Main reason I can't give it a four

Cool local brewery that serves cider and beers. Went during the week after work. Parking was pretty easy considering the time but can see it being limited if you go during their peak hours. They usually have a vendor selling food. They have inside seating and a cool outdoor patio area with fire pits. I'm usually a fan of breweries that have games, this one does not, but the fire pit is a nice touch if you happen to get their early enough to grab one. A great way to socialize with friends over the fire. Staff was helpful and patient as we looked over their selection. Oh, and if you are a cat lover, you will love this place. Cats are freely roaming the area.

Benny Boy Brewing is a laid-back spot tucked into Lincoln Heights, right next to one of those massive LA bridges you can't miss. I came here on July 12th for National Michelada Day after hearing about it online, and I'm really glad I did. They had a couple of vendors set up in the brewery space, a full-on michelada special using their Lincoln Heights Lager, and even a round of Loteria to raise money for charity. I'm not much of a drinker, but I do love a good michelada, and theirs was genuinely delicious. Came with tamarind candy too which added a nice twist. The atmosphere was just immaculate. The kind of place where you can kick back, people-watch, vibe out, and try something new without pressure. The menu had a wide range of beers and ciders, and you don't need to commit to a full pour right away, you can get taster sizes for around $4, or a pint for around $12, all made in-house. Parking is definitely the trickiest part. They offer valet for $17, which is a solid option if you want peace of mind, but a lot of people, including myself; just parked underneath the bridge nearby, even though the signs all said "No Stopping Any Time" Definitely felt like a gamble, but we didn't get a ticket, and it seems like thats what everyone does. This spot is already on my list to come back to, maybe even for a birthday or chill hangout. There's a strong sense of community here, regulars seem to know the staff and each other, and everyone's just in a good mood. Good drinks, good energy, good people, and a real taste of LA in one little brewery patio setup. Definitely recommend.

Their cider here is the bomb! Would highly recommend hitting up this brewery. Chill vibe, fun events, and great drinks. And I love that they offer flights for their cider so I can try multiple flavors. Service is great and staff are friendly.

Ask the Community - Benny Boy Brewing

Is it 21 and over only?

Yes, Benny Boy is 21+ only. The only exceptions are babies in strollers/carriers at all times.

So I've just seen two families rejected bc they had toddlers, do they not allow minors or just toddlers ? So are minors not allowed all the time or just on family Sundays? I'm confused... plis esplein lusy…

They have someone at the entrance checking for IDs, I don't think minors are allowed if that's the case. Also they serve water, why would you want to bring a water bottle or a hydro flask ?

Do the bands perform indoors or outdoors?

    Outdoors.

Which days do you do the artist night or something like that where people get creative and scribble some artwork?

1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 7-11pm! Follow @sketchparty on IG for more info.

Does Benny Bot have good TV's and are you watching Dodger games?

We have a large projector in the brewery with sound on! Yes, we always play Dodger games!

    Are kids allowed?

Came here on a Sunday afternoon with my son and got turned away, no kids allowed! Really?!?! Boo Hoo!!!

Is this place friendly to alcohol-free people?

Hi Michael, Yes! We have a house-made elderflower sparkling water as well as bottled sparkling. Dreaming of making an alcohol-free beer - it's in-the-works!

Seems like a cute place to work from. Are there any outlets available to charge laptops?

Yes we do! Plenty of places to plug in and charge. We also have USB outlets and great public wifi.

Do you offer any non-alcoholic beer options? If not can people bring their own non-alcoholic beers?

Not yet, but we're working on some NA options! You're welcome to bring outside food, but no outside beverages please. Thank you!

Can food be ordered for delivery to patrons?

    Absolutely!

Do you sell cider to go?

We do! We sell 32oz crowlers (large cans) that we seam onsite for you to take cider home.

Is there a bike rack? Dog/kid friendly?

Very small bike rack inside gate at brewery. Opening day saw plenty of babies. Following day a friend of mine took his 2 year old and they told him no kids allowed. Who knows. Very dog friendly.

Room for a total of 100 people. Feels: This was interesting. It's not in the heart o the skyscrapers of LA but moreover in the outer end. It's hidden in a factory/storage setup in LA and right across from LA Historic Park. The place makes you feel like you're no longer in Los Angeles. FOOD: Charcoal Froze (Recommend) A good mix of elderberry, orange, and agave. Sweet and pretty subtle. I got a good buzz from this. Cactus Rose Froze (Recommend) This is your selection if you're looking for something tart and sour. I enjoyed the tarty sweetness from the cactus pear and it was well-slushed. The slushy gives it a nice hint of orange. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Garrett was a good dude. TL; DR OVERALL: 4.5 Stars! I've never really gone to a day bar but this was a cool experience. Reasonable prices (about $6), good selections, and a good vibe. I'm sure my experience would be different if I struggled with parking or it was excessively crowded but this was a cool gem.
