What a gem in Alhambra, I wished I would have stumbled here earlier. They have their own crafted beers partnered with distilleries in LA. It's a great place to have a drink or two while you're waiting for your table. Great place to hangout inside/outside while people watching. They provided complimentary cheese coated goldfish and pretzels! Matcha Beer: Clean, crisp, there's not a lot of grassy taste. Good proportion to balance out the matcha and beer together. The matcha is light enough to compliment the beer. Personally, it's cleaner taste compared to their Ohana Beer. read more

One of my favorite local businesses and a hidden gem! A quaint storefront but always good vibes. Their rotating craft beers on tap include a few sours, IPAs, blondes, hefeweizens, and more. My favorites from their most recent rotations have been the Stress Less hefeweizen and the Citrus Breeze blonde ale. We also love that we have the option to can a few and take some beers to-go. Customer service is A1- the staff is always on top of everything and anticipating your needs. Ralph and Areli are the best!!! Whether it's a busy Thursday night or a quiet Sunday afternoon, the service is fast and friendly and always on point. They even brought out a phone stand for us to borrow since they saw us watching a football game one day?? So sweet Ohana has quickly become our go-to spot for a chill casual date night with board games or people-watching after visiting the Alhambra farmers market. 10/10 highly recommend!! read more

I had the opportunity to finally stop by and try this quaint little micro brewery In the city of Alhambra. Family owned and a few steps away from restaurants in case hunger kicks in. Along side your drink order, you are treated with a snack cup of goldfish cheddar crackers and pretzels to munch on. Service was great and my beer tender was willing to give me a taste if I was unsure on what to pick. I tried everything on the menu for this batch. A distinct selection that are both very refreshing and bold while still catering to everyone. Especially those that are not beer drinkers. They have outdoor table top seating along with an indoor area where they sell various snacks, such as beef jerky. They have an ordering table outside with the menus and the bartender will come out to take your order when you're ready. We usually stop by to refill our growlers with their very popular Spa Water Saison beer. The cool cucumber taste is very refreshing and it is a light, easy beer to enjoy. I've had so many great times at Ohana Brewing Company over the past year or so, thanks to my involvement in this spot's resident running club, Ohana Running Crew! Andrew, Areli, and Ralph have always been super friendly, accommodating, and provide great service to our little running group, which started as a small group of 6 runners and has peaked at 30 or more on some Wednesdays, where we meet for our weekly group run at 6:30pm. After our runs, we gather at the brewery for drinks and snacks. From sparkling waters to their extensive assortment of craft beers, there is something for everyone. Prices are extremely reasonable and there are affordable options for folks to sample different beers before committing to a larger size. Andrew and his staff are always willing to answer questions and provide recommendations. They've also got an assortment of snacks available, and pretzels and goldfish crackers are on the house for all customers. Free parking is available in the adjacent parking lot or in the structure across the street, and credit cards and mobile pay are accepted. The spot does get busy on weekends, so come during the week if you want to grab a drink and chill without too much hustle and bustle. Seating inside is limited, so be prepared to sit outside--which isn't such a big deal on most days here in Alhambra! read more

They have a few high tops set up outside so it's convenient to enjoy a beer while you're waiting for a table at Gen or just wanting to stop by for a brew before continuing to explore Main Street. I've passed by this place so many times ever since they opened and I finally got to try it only this month. The two beers I've had here were pretty good; the Soul Ejector wasn't too dark and had that solid heaviness to it, and the Tiki on the Beach was a fruity surprise that was extremely refreshing. What was nice about the outdoor seating was that they let me eat the food I got from another restaurant to enjoy with their beers. And they still served Goldfish crackers without questioning or asking. Made for tiny parties, not recommended for large parties to hang out. It's not a full brewery experience, but it's nice there is at least something in Alhambra. read more

One of the best breweries in LA! Seriously, the beer here is so good. The tasting room is fairly small but they set up tables outside and you're in the heart of downtown Alhambra so it's very pleasant to sit here and hang out. It's also more of a local vibe than the other big breweries you might visit that have a big tasting room, so you won't find cornhole or anything like that but the vibes are welcoming. The indoor room is cozy but I personally like sitting outside. The staff is really friendly and the beers are super well priced. In terms of beers, you need to try the spa water saison. It's a super refreshing light saison with cucumber and a tiny hint of lemongrass. Another must try is the matcha blonde ale. If you like fruit beers I also like tiki on the beach. It's not very sweet fyi, more of a tart, fruit flavor than sweet. The Ohana pacific ale is also a solid stalwart of their lineup if you want something more traditional. They have a few beers they always have but there's also some beers on a rotating lineup that changes often. Every now and then they have a beer with coffee that's always amazing but it's limited and they sell out quick so if you catch it definitely try a pour before it's gone. read more

I honestly didn't think I'd enjoy it right away but that vibe changed as soon as we were greeted. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They seemed to really enjoy explaining their different products and I am always a fan of server enthusiasm. They didn't check on us excessively and checked all the right boxes for proper service. I don't drink, but I had family in town who wanted to check out a local brewery. This review is, therefore, exclusively based on the service and not on the beer. The waitstaff made it very clear that we were not welcome in the brewery itself by rushing to apprehend us at the door anytime we stood from the table. This behavior was strange, but seemed clear when I finally went in to use the bathroom. The interior of the tasting room is being used for storage, with no real attempt at decoration to be seen. read more

I've been here twice and the staff is really awesome! My 1st time was closing on a Friday with 3 other friends and the 2nd time was closing on a Sunday with a group of 10. They don't serve food, only brews, but they do allow you to bring food from other locations. On the Sunday visit, my friends and I did a "food crawl" ~ each of us ordered from a different nearby place and then shared with each other while enjoying Ohana's drink offerings. The staff was super accommodating in putting 2 hightop tables together so we could sit together and my group all declared it a success! Hidden gem in the SGV! I almost don't want to write about it because I want to keep to myself hahaha We picked a bunch of 2oz pours to sample. Favorites were the saison spa water and citrus breeze. We ordered pints of those as well after. They give you gold fish & pretzels to snack on! We also bought a crowler home. They also have seasonal brews so I'll be back whenever they have the matcha beer again for sure Friendly service :) During covid they have a few tables on the sidewalk for outdoor drinking but hopefully they'll have seating inside soon! My favorites...Spa Water Saison (cucumber + lemongrass), Ohana Pacific (blonde ale), Tiki on the Beach (blonde ale w/ tropical fruits) & Let Me Double Check (hazy india pale ale). This will be my first brewery review, and I am happy to say it is one of my absolute favorites. I have been into craft since I was about twenty, I am now thirty-two. I have been coming here since 2015. It is unassuming from the outside, but bursting with flavor and character once you walk inside. Now I am sure I will butcher this so much, but I do know that they are an independent brewery. I know that this is a passion for the owner, but has no intentions of bottling or canning. You can go here and fill up your growlers and I believe they have crowlers now too! You can purchase things from glasses, to nuts, to their pub mix. Let me say that their beers are some of the best in the Los Angeles area. Their Spa Water Saison is one of my absolute favorites. It has a beautiful hue of cucumber flavor with a lemongrass finish that just washes over you. I can not tell you how happy I am when I see it at a local bar on tap. I discovered this brewery after eating around the area. They only have outdoor seatings, where they had about 6-7 tables. I ordered the tiki on the beach drink and the citrus breeze.
