Stopped by here on a Saturday night for a quick drink. Has the michelada and it was delicious. The tajin rim was perfect and the beer to michelada mix ratio was perfect. Then we found out there was a Pizza pop up by Rockin Pizza Company so we ordered a pizza. The pizza dough was perfection and it was loaded with toppings. Brian the chef, was super nice and such a cool guy. He really know how to make a delicious pizza. Highly recommend having a Pizza with your beer. I believe he is there every Wednesday and Saturday.

We came for an event here. The owners were so gracious to allow our group to set-up on the coffee tables. Afterwards, we enjoyed refreshments. My friends ordered beer but since I don't drink beer, I enjoyed their mango and peach drinks. Sorry, I forgot the name of the drinks, but they went well with the smashburgers and fries. We loved the ambiance of this place, although the DJ got a bit loud so we could hardly hear each other talk. Overall, this is a nice place to chill and enjoy the evening with your friends.

Great stop with fun vibe. The service was top notch, and very friendly. Beers were solid and fun. Ambiance was clean sporty brewery.

I liked this location but the beer here was just decent. They have a limited selection, and the ones I tried were just decent. However, this place has great vibes and plays some good music! Good to meet up with a group of friends.

My boyfriend and I had some business to do near here and had some time so we stopped by this brewery. The ambiance was typical of local brewing. The bartender was nice and friendly. He loves double IPA but unfortunately, they didn't have it I sipped the beer he ordered, which was good. I didn't see any parking but could do street parking in front of the brewing. They have outdoor seating, and I saw someone had a dog so you can bring dogs. Overall, the experience was good!

Popped in for a beer to catch the basketball game and was pleasantly surprised. I came back a week later for the DJ night and had even more fun. The service is always great. Beers here are amazing. Always a fun vibe and plenty of TV's to catch a game. There's also a game room if you'd like to get some cards or a board game. Plenty of parking also out back.

Angry Horse Brewery, LA 5 Stars, 1/7/24 Quality/Quantity - Caballo Negrito Pale Lager - My favorite, glad he recommended it. I am currently a red drinker, but this had more flavor. East LA IPA - Refreshing and smooth, especially for an IPA. My tasters - Burning Barn Red, Montebello Pale Ale, Mango Milkshake IPA, Hop It To Me IPA. Atmosphere - What a great atmosphere, both the employees and other patrons were very welcoming. These are the types of breweries/bars I like to frequent; they have the "cheers" atmosphere where everyone knows everyone. Good size brewery, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor seating - Table, booth, bar, private room, etc. Open 7 days a week. See Yelp or website for specific hours. Different food trucks, see menu for today's choice. Very small game section, see picture. Cool decor in the bathrooms, hope it minimizes graffiti. Service - 5 stars. Self service water. Events - Comedy night, trivia, dancing, DJ, bands, karaoke. Price - $15 + generous tip. Love it when the prices include the sales tax, thank you. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2012 and with this location since 2017.

Cool spot with a great beer selection. Super chill hangout and easy to order. Outdoor and indoor seating.

Ambiance: Angry Horse Brewing sports rustic wood. In slight eccentric contrast, walls have retro stripes. Surprisingly, there are plants and a chandelier, They play my favorite tunes, ala Of Monsters and Men. They have weekend live music. A selfie spot is available. Beer: Angry Horse Beer is fresh and tasty. The servers are clean and alert.

Really delicious beers here, wide variety of beers and friendly staff. My favorites were the Japanese lager and the Oreo stout! I'll be back to try the other non ipa beers.

The Brewery has a large parking lot however it gets full pretty quickly, if you get lucky you can also find some parking in the neighborhood street adjacent, or there is street parking for 2 hours on the main street. Yesterday was a pretty packed day, the main back patio with umbrellas was packed with people as there was an artist doing doggy portraits on that side. The back patio is disconnected from the brewery so you have to walk back and forth if you want to refill. I would say that side is more in the sun, so even with umbrellas it's a bit hotter on that side. The brewery is pretty cool inside, they have two separate bars to order from, one is the Beer bar, and one is the coffee/tea/ other things bar. I tried their Shibuya rice lager which was ice cold and very refreshing for a hot day. Our group also ordered the Really big pretzel, and Nachos which were pretty delicious. Finally, there is the front patio which faces the main street, and was fully in the shade. It is quite small with about 4 tables, but the sidewalk has quite a bit of foot traffic, and this is where we were able to set up camp with the fosters to mingle and meet with people who wanted to meet the doggies. When a breeze goes by, it is so refreshing and it's pretty nice on that front patio! I love that Wild Parrot Brewing company is dog friendly and the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Thank you for hosting Pup Culture Rescue! A little shameless plug, my foster is Drew the Shar Pei, he is a bone faced Shar Pei, 42 lbs, very sweet, gentle, and very loving and as of this post he is still looking for a family to call his own!

A bicycling group stopped by for a quick breather in the lot before heading back out. Event organizers were shuffling unsuspecting casual onlookers into playing regulars. In and around the brewery, focused chess matches were set up in dimly lit cosmic lighting, a stark contrast to the commotions from the music and the Lakers game on TV. Upstairs inside the brewery the attendees traded the cool, evening air for a noticeably stuffier experience. The space contained mostly beginner mahjong games as well as chess matches. I had the chance to engage in both activities and had a blast even though I got my butt kicked. Would love to come back and play a few more rounds with a drink in hand.

I was a bit skeptical at firs, the presentation included tangerines and mint, which I'd never had with scallops before but the flavor combination totally worked. Everything tasted fresh, and balanced. The tostadas came out warm, which was a nice surprise. It made me wonder if they're handmade tortillas. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. Good service, really great beer and cider, nice atmosphere, decent bar food. The location is near the Chinatown Metro station, so we walked the 0.2 miles. Everyone goes the opposite way from that station, going to Chinatown. Instead, we went the opposite way. It's the second time I've gone east from that station, walking on N Spring Street (used it once to go to Majordomo...HPB is a lot closer). Learnt that it's better to keep on the west side of Spring (next to the park), rather than cross immediately. The homeless encampments are really built up on the East side, fully occupying the sidewalk, making you walk in traffic. It's a pretty industrial part of the city, with a bit of street parking near the brewery. It was already fairly busy less than an hour after opening on a Saturday. It's 'sit-yourself', with both outdoor and indoor seating. There are multiple lines where you can place both your food and beer order. Beers are given right away, with food being delivered to your table later. Ended up placing my entire order at once, closing it out immediately. They use Toast as their payment processor, making it easy to get a digital receipt. Rattlesnake Wit Pitcher ($33) - enough for 4 pints. Witbier is my favorite style, and this one really hit the mark for me. Extremely light and fresh. Will seek this out to see if the cans are as good as the draught was. Granada Sincere Cider ($12) - my wife enjoyed her draft apple cider. Three food items, all pretty solid. Fish Chips appetizers ($18.50) used smaller cod pieces, well fried with decent fries. The Chips & Queso ($7.25) came out first: not a huge amount, but thick greasy chips that tasted good in the homemade yellow queso. Our cashier suggested animal cheese wedges ($12) - sidewinder french fried potatoes, covered in a chipotle sauce with grilled onions. It was tasty. All the bathrooms (three I think) are private gender neutral, with a common sink for washing. It got more and more crowded as we sat, and by the time we left an hour later, all the tables were taken. Popular place on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.
