a patio with tables and chairs

Anna's a great edition to Santa Paula that began during the covid pandemic. It's a friendly place with live music on the weekends. You can sit outside on the expansive patio or inside, where it's friendly and comfortable. There are about 5-10 taps that include a variety of their ciders or rotating local beer taps. I really liked the habanero cider, it's a delicious straight forward cider with a bit of a kick. However, it was their wine that really spoke to me. I like their reds, I tried two on my last visit. You can expect to pay about $7-8 per drink. And order some food from next door at Gunsmoke BBQ or the food trucks that pull right up to the patio, if they are hosting food trucks when you visit. Make a full night of it. You won't regret the choice. See their Instagram for photos and more details. Be sure to note hours before you go. Parking in small lot and on street.

Down Main Street of Santa Paula on the corner you'll find Anna's Cider. It's a small little building with a good size patio. On cold days they have fire pits and space heaters to stay warm. There's farmer markets on Saturdays and they host different events throughout the year. I passed by this place the last time I was in SP but never stopped in. And since I've been wanting to try this place out, I recruited my niece and sis to come with. Now we planned on coming here before we knew it was gonna rain so we made the most out of this night. We walked in and had a few options to choose from. You're allowed to try before you buy here and my niece and I both liked the Rosé so we opted for the pitcher $15 rather then a $6 glass. It was lightly sweetened which is what I liked and you can just sip on it and enjoy your time there. My sis got a mango one with tajin on the outside, she said it was ok but wasn't that impressed with it. I'm curious to try the other flavors next time I'm around the area. They also have beer and wine as well as jungle tea if you're not into cider. Everything is locally crafted too!

Ever since hearing about Anna's Cider, I have wanted to visit it. I love a good cider, and I feel like there's not enough places that craft their own. First off, love the location. Right on a corner on Main Street in Santa Paula, they have a much larger space than I was expecting. The inside is decently large with plenty of comfortable indoor seating. They also have a large patio area with picnic tables and heaters - perfect for larger gatherings. And they're dog friendly! They had six ciders on tap when we visited. They offer a build your own cider flight for $12 and you pick four of the ciders, or you can grab a glass for $6-8. I built my own flight and tried the Hazy Dry, Rosé, Mango Tajin, and their seasonal Tepache. All the flavors were good - the Rosé was surprisingly my favorite - but all the flavors seemed a bit muted for me. I'd have liked it if there was a bit stronger flavor with a tad more carbonation. But still delicious! They also have their own wines here, and I can't wait to come back to give them a try. I wish they offered some kind of food here - even if they sold just small snacks to go with the ciders. They do allow you to bring/order in your own food, but just being able to pick up some simple cheese and crackers or chips when you order would make the experience better. Overall, a fun place to visit with friends and enjoy their tasty ciders.

I always love supporting local venues! This place is a gem to visit! The cidery, not only features ciders, but has their own wine featured in some Ventura county restaurants, like rum fish in Ventura. The cidery always has their traditional ciders: rose and their dry apple cider on tap with rotating other ciders! Both ciders and wine can be purchased to go! The location has both outdoor and indoor seating! And the venue host a variety of food nights, as unfortunately no restaurant is on site, so bring a snack or stop in on a foodie night. Also, a Great place to bring a dog if you plan to sit outside. Check out their calendar for events and stop in for a drink or two!!!!

I have tried Anna's Cider at festivals and have bought their product at Whole Foods. I was happy to stop by at this cool spot! My friends and I loved it. We all ordered flights. I enjoyed all the flavors I got - Mango, Tepache, Ciderita, and Rose. My least favorite was probably the Ciderita. Great customer service. There was only one cashier but he was friendly and it really wasn't busy today. Chill spot with plenty of seating. So much space outside. I think I saw a fireplace. I can imagine how fun it will be once it's warmer.

My husband loves cider so we knew when we moved over here we had to try Anna's. It's a cute little spot. The bartender was really friendly. When we were ordering there were even guests who recommended drinks. We enjoyed the drinks. Not our favorite, but good. We didn't try all the flavors so we will go back to try the rest and also take family who come visit.

I loved this Cider place! It's located in cute and quiet Santa Paula and had great tasting ciders. It has outdoor seating and indoor seating. Prices were reasonable. We tried the sampler which had 4 cider options for 12$. They have two fireplace table outside but one wasn't working because it didn't have propane. My favorite was the mango! I will have to return shortly! Would recommend 10/10.

Im honored that my 500th Yelp review goes to Anna's Ciders. Anna's Ciders is FANTASTIC. A hidden gem honestly, as I had no idea it existed until I stopped by for a local Yelp Event. Sounds like they opened not too far before covid hit and are currently fully operational with craft cider and beers on tap. The staff here are so nice. The inside is small and cozy but what I love is their large outdoor space. Their outdoor setup is lovely, plenty of seating, cool wood benches and tables, and a view of downtown Santa Paula. I'd highly recommend grabbing some food to go from nearby, picking a cider flight, and then grabbing a spot for some outdoor dining and drinks. The ciders here are absolutely fantastic. I Found out that these ciders are super light and delicious in taste, but the big bonus is they don't have all of the icky sugars and carbs compared to some of the bigger known cider brands. You know, the kind of bottled ciders that leave you with a headache and aren't so refreshing? We'll Anna's are the complete opposite. So yes, I'm telling you that your ciders can taste delicious and be reduced in carbs/sugar. WIN-WIN people. I tried a cider flight of the Hazy, Rose, Cucumber Ginger, and the Mango Tajin. My friend had almost the same flight but swapped the Cucumber for their Lemon Cider. I can honestly say all 5 Ciders (my friend let me sip hers) we're all delicious, light, and refreshing. Anna's has made me into a cider freak now. If I had to make a recommendation I would highly suggest the Mango Tajin, I found that it was the most flavorful - fruit forward profile and you can't go wrong with a Tajin Rim. For those who aren't a fan of the mild spice either ask for no rim or id highly suggest trying the Cucumber Cider. We will definitely be back and telling all our friends! So happy that Ventura County has such a stellar Cider spot. Cheers and see you soon.

Santa Paula is by far my favorite little city and Anna's Cidar is one of the most recent addition that just makes me love it even more! Now I know this place isn't new but it was my first visit to their tasting room and I can say I am hooked. First and foremost the locally made ciders mixed with the small town love and support just sets it off and makes it one of my favorites. For those who don't like the coders they have locally made craft beers on tap as well as canned locally made spiked teas! I mean how can you not love that! We got the cider float with the Rose, cucumber ginger, tepache and pineapple habanero. Everyone packed with flavor and light and refreshing.

Since I no longer drink beer having a cidery to go to is pretty exciting - bonus that the cider is gluten free! We purchased the tasting flight. It came with 4 good sized tastings: Hazy Dry, Rose, Jalapeño Pineapple, and the rotating tap which was cucumber ginger. The hazy dry was pretty decent - it's your average cider that the big box guys push. The real stand out was the jalapeño pineapple - of the 4 of us that went we all voted the JP as number one. I'm a fan of pretty much anything cucumber, but unfortunately the flavor of the ginger was overwhelming and this was collectively the groups least favorite tasting. The outdoor area is nice, especially with such limited options in the area. Staff was friendly and prices are reasonable. We left before the live music started (bummer!) but I'd say that's a big draw in itself.

I was unexpectedly in Santa Paula on a lovely Sunday afternoon, and we were looking for a spot to grab a bite and a drink after a visit to the Santa Paula Art Museum. It seemed that many of the businesses were closed at around 3:30 PM on Sunday, And of those that were open very few had outdoor seating available. We came upon Anna's(which I had heard of) and decided that even though they didn't have food it would be a great place to sit out in the afternoon sun and visit. We both got the cider sampler Which was beautifully presented on wood plank. I am not much of a cider person, But they were all quite good - I especially enjoyed the cucumber ginger. It was a bummer that they did not have food available... And also disappointing to see the staff working indoors without masks on in spite of the county wide mask mandate that was in place-otherwise it was a very pleasant surprise, and we will definitely be back!

Fun evening at Anna's Cider. I tried several ciders, as well as, their Farmhouse Ale. Typically I am not a big cider drinker but these were different. I tried their OG Hazy Dry, Cucumber Ginger, Mango Tajin and Pineapple Habanero. Personally the Hazy and Mango were my favorites. I could see the hype with the Pineapple Habanero but I'm personally not a spicy drink fan. The cucumber ginger was the least favorite of the group. However, if you're not a cider drinker they do have beer options. I can attest their Farmhouse Ale is delicious! Well-balanced beer with nothing overwhelming about it. Easy to drink and enjoy especially during trivia on Thursday's!

I had a free weekend, I drove up, stayed near Camarillo Outlets, then drove into Ventura for the balloon festival. There's only need to attend ONE day of the three. It's a GREAT hometown festival, whose main attraction are the balloons. Parking is good, wish I had time for the town tour, arrived early to take in the fest, and stayed late to experience all the balloons. I had the opportunity to watch them roll out the balloon, line up the strings, participate in the group effort to stand 'er up while the balloonist blew hot air within. The lighting of the balloons at night is spectacular, but probably would have been even more so if every balloon was alit during the fest. See pics.

Only bummer - they had the same bad t-shirt art again this year. How about taking a lesson from the Avocado Festival and having local artists compete for the t-shirt art and then maybe people would buy them? We started at the Wine Tasting Pavilion. 5 wineries this year. $2 per taste. I liked 75% of the wines this year. And towards the end of tasting time, the pours definitely were more generous. Although I did think it strange that a summer event would have all red wines, except for one white - a Chenin Blanc that was delicious. The boys headed for the beer tasting pavilion but ended up just buying full glasses of beer. I did try a Summer Shandy beer that was excellent. Dinner was from the Spencer MacKenzie fish truck again this year. I tried a less flammable sauce this year and enjoyed my fish taco more. I also enjoyed an order of their seasoned fries - thin, not overly greasy and lightly sprinkled with seasoning. The vendors were varied for craft items. I didn't purchase any impulse items, but the girl with us did purchase a few candles. The band for Friday evening played mellow County music and it fit with the casual evening. (I heard there was an unbefitting Rock band on Saturday.) The balloons are always center stage here and we weren't disappointed this year. They started inflating them just before sunset. They had more present than the previous year we had attended. We loved the alien-looking balloon called Outlander. And the Humpty Dumpty balloon was a hit. The Limoneira lemon-shaped balloon was fantastic. There were many with colorful patterns. Another evening of awe, wine, good food and friendship! I hope we can attend again next year
