We visited here on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at about 3:30PM with just a party of two. We joined the small tasting room with the intention of just doing a tasting; however, we ended up staying more than two hours, because they have live music every Saturday from 4pm to 6pm. They have two great options. They have a four choice wine tasting, which allows you to choose any 4 from the current list of 8. Or, you can indulge in the full monty which is where you get tastings of all wine currently on the menu. They are both very good values when comparing wine tasting rooms. The air conditioning was on, and we were happy. The music, the wine, the vibes and there was a wonderful employee working that day (I'm sorry, it's only been 24 hours and I cannot remember his name) Anyway, the whole experience was great. Came in for a wine tasting quick wine tasting, but stayed an hour longer with additional glasses of wine, great conversations, and wonderful live musicians. Great local artwork all around the tasting room and a fun painted upright piano. Our tasting host was very friendly and provided short tid bits of information of each wine. My husband did the $19 four wine pour tasting and I did the $36 Full Monte pouring of their entire eight wine tasting. I enjoyed my first Grüner Veltliner white wine, 2024 Grunay (a hint of sweetness yet still crisp to the tongue and a light body). I also enjoyed their Tempranillo red wine, 2023 Taransay (well balanced medium body, slightly on the drier side but not too much, and had some nice tannins), this is the full glass I ordered after the tasting. I was not a fan of the 2021 Soay (Red Blend of 70% Granache, 15% Petit Verdot and 15% Petit Syrah) - I really wanted to like it as I typically like this blend, however there was a strange aftertaste that reminded me of water that was rinsed in dried rice. From 4PM - 6PM on Saturdays and Sundays, there is a local musician. Today was a singer-songwriter who played both acoustic and electric guitar and was accompanied by a lovely bass guitar player. They performed a few lighter versions of rock music and a handful of originals. Overall, great value and good music. read more

Mother in law wanted a glass of wine. Because it was a spur of the moment "trip" to Ojai I didn't create reservations for wineries. Luckily we stumbled upon Feros Ferio Winery. It wasn't too busy when we arrived. When we got up to order Nigel was really nice. They know their wines. We were considering doing a wine tasting. Nigel was nice and apologized before hand that if it got busy it might be a bit until he's able to serve our next one. They allowed us to taste a couple if we preferred to get a glass which we did. The inside is small and has a few tables so I could only imagine how it gets when it's busy. I got their Barbera Blend. My mother in law got their Erchleass Cab/Grenache Blend. There was live entertainment which was nice to see. Overall, it was really nice. Wine was nice and smooth. I will come back as long as it's not busy/packed. Haha. read more

Nigel is such a cool owner of this winery. He provides such great hospitality even while we were from out of town. Great vibes, cool people and had a live band play. My fiancé and I were strolling through the area and stop in his winery. All self sourced and his own spin on wine. We were able to enjoy a few glasses of wine. The owner is maybe the coolest guy you've ever met. The wine is incredible but because he's so humble he'll tell you to just drink whatever you want. I'm a musician and piano player, and within 10 minutes he was already taking apart the 100-year-old upright piano and telling me its whole history, all while serving us amazing wine. What an amazing little find up in Ojai! My girlfriend and I stopped in in the afternoon and were greeted by the delightful Emma Rose! We both opted for a tasting and Emma Rose asked a few questions about our wine interests and then curated a wonderful tasting for each of us. I've been studying and sampling wine for years now. My girlfriend has developed a palette for wine that makes me think she should be a sommelier. Emma Rose made these wines come alive for us. We had our biases and she politely cajoled us into stepping outside our comfort zone and not skipping some wines we may have. Her descriptions and ability to tell the tale of the wine and winery were spellbinding. Knowledge, personality, and let's not forget she was running a packed house by herself and did not neglect anyone or miss a beat. WOW! Surprisingly we both liked the whites which was a departure from the norm for us. We're certainly red leaning and the reds were wonderful as well. We ended up buying a few bottles and came back later for a couple of glasses of wine and enjoyed the live music. The ambiance and vibe in this place are fun and inviting. Love the decor.
