My coworker's pick for a Friday evening, wasn't too busy and I'm not sure why? A classic sports bar setup with a small outdoor patio, the space and service felt familiar. The people here were nice and had a corky humour to them. Our table got two sausage platters, frickles, lemon pepper wings, and a pretzel. There is usually an expectation for American bar food before you enter the establishment, and they all lived up to the hype. The textures were amazing, fried food was crispy on the outside, soft and juicy on the inside. Sausages had a bite to them and tender in the middle. Flavour profiles here were smoky, punchy, sweet, and vinegary. The lettuce mix under the sausages was a nice touch too. This fed four perfectly. Great variety of beer too! Loved the additions of a rice lager and a sour. A great spot for hanging out with friends, snacking, and snacking... and snacking till you realise that was dinner! read more

What a friendly local bar and a great place to catch sports. I watched one of the World Cup semi-final games here and it was the perfect destination. Hungary didn't make it to the World Cup this year so that was a bit of a bummer, considering my fam is from the old country. However, my second all-time fave, France, was still in the semi-finals. You see, I grew up watching Zinedine Zidane and to me, the World Cup brings back childhood memories and family bonding time. The menu items took me back in time. Much to my surprise, I noticed that there was a Hungarian kielbasa & a Debreziner sausage listed on their $10 lunch deal. I was shocked that I had the opportunity to debate over which one to pick. DEBREZINER sausage (in German) or for us Hungarians, is better known as "Debreceni Virsli" and made in the region where my dad's side of the fam grew up. It's often served cut up on the sides and has a richer color. For me, it's a bit juicier and there's more paprika in there. It's more along the lines of chorizo, if that's what your flavorbuds prefer. It's made with sweet and hot paprika, garlic, pepper, and marjoram. If my dad had been with me that day, he'd opt for the Debreziner. After deliberating for a bit, I decided to go with the HUNGARIAN KIELBASA and decked it out with grilled onions, sauerkraut, and jalapeños (very hot, stated the menu). The jalapeños rivaled the outside 100+ degree temperature. Thankfully, the cool AC made me forget it was one sweltering summer's day. Also, the Hibiscus Cider was crisp and made my experience and the lackluster game worth my time out. I loved how easy the ordering went-just tap the menu on the iPad and voila, you got the whole spiel. Service was quick and felt welcoming like I was at home in someone's living room with tons of TVs all around. Sadly, France didn't show up to play in the game until the last 5 mins or so. Spain obvi deserved the win and yes, this year's cup for their fancy footwork. The vibe was great and the crowd around me were locals on a first name basis with the staff. With awesome cider and food as tasty as I had growing up at home, I think I'll make it a goal to be on a first name basis around here during the NHL & NFL season. read more

Loved this spot! My husband loves stopping by here when we're in the area to grab some of their vegan options. It was awesome to see they have NA options as well as sodas! They have a vegan platter option available as well as beyond burgers and individual vegan sausages. Daniela was also extremely kind and helpful! She was so busy but managed to help every single person in the spot with ease and quickness! Nice vibe and very clean in here as well! read more

May not look like much from the outside but the inside has high ceilings and is very spacious! We dropped by for lunch yesterday since we were in the area and were there right when they opened lol. Greeted by the loveliest staff, shoutout to Zel, absolute sweetheart and she KNOWS her beer!! Love how knowledgeable she was! They have a small parking lot that is shared by other businesses so it fills up fast. We passed it and didn't realize so we parked in the nearby neighborhood and just walked over. My bf ordered 2 beers, we got some lemon pepper dry rub wings, fries, and brioche link which were all fantastic. The fries here are THICK but very good!! Love the crispy bits and they're not oily, perfectly salted as well. Their Cusabi Ranch is a MUST try. I dipped both my wings and fries in them. It's a cucumber wasabi ranch dip and super refreshing!! Overall the vibe and food were great, drinks and prices excellent, and staff, even better. We are definitely looking forward to coming back again! IG: @ammysalamii read more

Been here a few times, the most recent for a World Cup game. It was packed! And honestly, it usually is. I've been on trivia night as well, which is great. Good selection of beers. The food is hit or miss for me but at least they have vegan options. The staff is great though! Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. And there's a small parking lot. It's a fun little bar with lots of regulars. read more

Food: The food was so good. It came out hot and fresh! We want to go back! Service: We were in contact with a few workers and they were very nice and patient with us! Because we said it was our first time they answered all of our questions very friendly and nicely!! We went before a concert and this was a perfect spot for a beer and some food! Outside: They had a few outside tables. And there is minimal close parking because they share the parking lot with other close by businesses. Inside: It gives like a bar vibe but a cute one! They had a few booths a lot of high top tables. It's very clean and well kept in there! read more

They always have a well-curated beer selection. It covers all preferences. And then.. the sausages... absolutely a must try, with a friendly service that makes you feel at home. Highly recommend this place! read more

A really nice neighborhood sports bar. There are plenty of TVs and comfortable bar and table seating. The beer menu is large and the food selection is solid, consisting of sports bar favorites like wings, burgers, and hot dogs. I'm not a huge hot dog fan, but I enjoyed the variety of sausage options here, and it was fun to try the "exotics" like lamb, duck, and boar. Service was friendly and quick, and there's a parking lot. read more

A sports bar with a great beer selection, primarily sausage menu with numerous topping options (grilled onions, peppers, etc., etc. etc.), and really friendly service....we wish we lived closer. There were 3 vegan sausage options, partner had the Italian with grilled onions and cheese, I had the spicy pepper with grilled onions and peppers. Side of large fries. The spicy pepper was not overly hot and I really enjoyed it. The Italian was enjoyed as well, all a matter of taste. Fries were perfect. In short, food could not be better. The Irish Red went perfectly with the Spicy Pepper for me, an ale worked well with the Italian Sausage. We ate outside enjoying the cool evening weather; inside were multiple TV's showing sports with a bunch of people enjoying themselves. It was a fluke we were in Los Feliz and a fluke we ended up at Link N Hops. A very happy fluke, and I envision pairing a post Griffith Park with a planned return. read more

Came here for Trivia night on a Wednesday night, and I had a great time! I was initially a bit worried with how empty it was at 6-7 pm, but it quickly filled up as trivia night started at 8pm. Though we didn't win, I loved the informal non-stressed format, and felt like I even learned a bit of new things! I also loved the service, the servers and manager were very down to earth, telling us what they're about, and always checking in to make sure we have everything we needed. The food unfortunately, was just ok. I had the Atwater Brackwurst, which was longer than the other dogs, and this was probably the best thing. For condiments we had grilled onions and peppers which had a sweetness that gave a great contrast to the hot and salty texture of the meat. I wish there were more condiments over the ends of the meats that stuck out of the bun though. The fries and Coxhinhas I wasn't as big a fan of. While the coxinhas were fried perfectly, the chicken that was inside was bland and dry, and the sauce that we had was a chipotle aioli that was also too bland, like a straight up mayonnaise. I wanted a BBQ sauce with the steak cut fries (preferred thinner fries) but instead came with a habanero aioli that was also too much like mayo. Despite the food though, I would still come again especially for their interesting beer selections, service, and trivia! read more

Came here Wednesday night for trivia around 6 PM, and there were plenty of seats available. If you're here for trivia, it actually doesn't start until 8 PM, which is when people start trickling in. They have their own parking lot, but it's quite compact, so we ended up parking on the street. Metered parking is free after 8 PM and costs 25 cents every 15 minutes. Happy hour applies to drinks only and runs from 3 PM to 7 PM. I got the Hibiscus Apple Cider, and it honestly tasted like a regular fizzy soda. You could barely taste the alcohol, which might be a plus for some. When the rest of my party arrived, we ordered the Atwater Knackwurst, French Fries (large), and Coxinhas. For the Atwater Knackwurst, we chose onions and bell peppers as our two toppings. The onions and bell peppers were sweet. The sausage itself was grilled and delicious but it tasted like a standard sausage to me. As for the fries, I wish they were a bit thinner and crispier since they were a bit too mushy and large for my liking. Other than that, there was nothing special about them. We also requested BBQ sauce, but there must have been a mix-up since we received the habanero aioli instead. For the Coxinhas, the dough was crispy on the outside but soft when biting it. Inside, it contained some well seasoned shredded chicken. For this appetizer, we paired it with some chipotle aioli sauce. Though we didn't get a chance to try any other sauces, both the chipotle and habanero aioli contained a lot of mayo with lacking chipotle and habanero flavors. Overall, I really loved the service. I believe it was Zel who helped us - she was very welcoming, kind, and informative. This restaurant is great for hanging out, watching sports, trying new food and beer, and playing trivia. Parking can either be easy or difficult, depending on the time and day. Regardless, I would love to be back for another trivia or a showing of a game. read more

Overall, I was very displeased with the service. Waiter and staff were very unfriendly. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Okay, people. You've seen the articles. L.A. eateries have Everestian hills to climb. But you can... be the sherpa? (I may have fallen down my metaphor.) Let's just say Zel and Ricardo rock. They are so good at what they do. They found their vibe and ride that wave every day. If you like beer and love those who seek the unusual...give LnH your dollars. If you think "I don't care whether a hot dog is a sandwich. I want a sausage made of RATTLESNAKE and loaded to the fangs!"...give LnH your dollars. If you are the SNOBBIEST of Fry Connoisseurs and will only eat the pinnacle of all spuddery...give LnH your dollars. And my people...If you don't like getting your hands messy with the best nachos around then you just don't like to eat. Give LinknHops your dollars!!! read more

As an Atwater local, I have been enjoying the bratwurst, buffalo cauliflower bites, coxinhas and rotating beer selection for over 10 years and look forward to more visits. Their longevity is attributed to the amiable staff that is knowledgeable about their beers and how to satisfy your appetite. Their chicken wings is my family's personal favorite! I can't even pick one favorite sauce because every flavor will hit a home run. I recommend Link n Hops if your preferred ambiance is that of a sports enthusiast who is looking for a wide selection of sports games.
