First time at the Encino location. I stopped by for an iced cloud matcha and a croissant around 9am. As expected, the coffee shop was full and almost every seat was taken so I ended up taking my order to go. It was a beautiful morning, too so even the seating outside was full (yay for supporting local!) My drink and croissant were perfection, as always, and the service was great. Definitely recommend both locations but if you're looking to dine in or work remotely, better chances at finding a seat in Tarzana as that location is bigger.
I've come here twice now after a workout class in the area and Laidrey was also recommended to me by a friend. Parking in this part of Ventura is challenging; there is metered street parking on the same street that is often full and free street parking on the residential side streets but be warned they have strict rules as to hours when you are able to park. There is no outdoor seating and very limited indoor seating. This place is popular in the neighborhood so you will see people have coffee meetups here as well as the solo remote work person. Service is polite and quick. Vanilla Matcha Latte 4/5, this was nice! Their matcha is traditionally bitter and I think this blended with the vanilla sweetener well! Collagen Cloud Matcha Latte 3/5, ok so I didn't love this. The collagen on top I was told tastes vanilla like but it reminded me more of the seedy texture of misugaru which I like however it didn't pair in a way I liked with the bitter matcha underneath; I added some liquid sweetener after and liked the drink more
Stopped by and tried the Vanilla Bean Almond Milk Latte (16 oz, $7) and was pleasantly surprised. The coffee was really good! Smooth and not sweet. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was fast. The place itself was very clean and aesthetically pleasing, with a welcoming atmosphere. It seems like a great spot, whether you're looking to hang out with friends, get some work done, or enjoy a good drink. I went on a Friday at 8AM, so parking was easy as well. I found metered street parking, but there's also a parking lot in the back if you prefer. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more items from their menu!

The cardamom latte owns my heart. Absolutely perfection. The perfect hints of cardamom undertones to boost up the coffee beans. I literally can't wait to come back to have another. Hubby ordered the Spanish latte and that was alright. So much seating both inside and out. The service was great and quick with very attentive baristas. There's street parking in addition to a small lot in the back.
Coffee isn't very strong - syrup and milk is good but didn't taste much coffee in my iced latte. Love the layout though! Cute place! A little loud. Service was decent.
Love this coffee spot in the valley! They have such tasty lattes, I especially love their maple oat latte. There are some tables and chairs where you can do some work or meet up with a friend but there's not as much room as their other location in Tarzana. Super friendly baristas. My iced latte was ready super quickly!

Cold brew was incredible, staff was kind, food was delicious, outdoor seating was great, the only issue here is the indoor seating and vibe. Way too many zoom calls happening. That should be illegal. I'm not generally a quiche person so I have no idea why I ordered it but the veggie quiche was spectacular and one of the best I've had. Perfectly crisp and sizable. Maybe I'm now a quiche person. The burrito was also delicious. Would come back but again would only sit at an outside table since this spot is a bit overrun by ppl who should take their work calls elsewhere. They have an adorable pay it forward game type option too.
We usually get there on a Saturday afternoon and it's not too packed but I imagined this place gets crazy in the morning. They have parking spots in the back, albeit limited, and metered parking which is super convenient! I haven't tried their pastries but so far I'm loving their honey lavender latte! Vanilla latte was good as well but I prefer the more "flowery" drinks since I can get vanilla lattes anywhere. Customer service is normal, nothing outstanding, hence the 4/5 rating.
I really like the atmosphere here. Both the coffee and the shop's décor have a very understated, elegant feel.
Love Laidrey! They have seating that looks very comfy and I feel like I could just stay there the whole day to read or do productivity. I got the vanilla bean latte with oatmeal and it's perfect for my liking/sweetness. Wanted to get a parfait but they ran out. This place has good drink options and even food options. I was recommended this coffee shop by my husband who came here a few months ago. I'm always interested in trying new spots and this one intrigued me for sure. I have two Laidrey locations fairly close to me but decided to try this location out. I was told the parking can get a bit rough so if you go on a busy day, I'd recommend planning to arrive about 15 minutes or so. This location is located on the corner of a small street but still on main Ventura Blvd. Once you turn into the smaller street, you should see a bit of an awkward parking spot (I found parking pretty easily). Upon entrance, everything was very modern and chic. The menu was legible and easy to navigate. There is a decent amount of seating in this coffee place and even fun bar stool seatings on the side of the wall (where I sat with my friend). When it came to ordering, I decided to get a Vanilla Cloud Matcha (because it sounded very cool and tasty!) along with a plain bagel and cream cheese. I was really excited to order this and I even had a full conversation about the type of milk that will be used so I had an idea of what I was getting. I pictured a foamy milk on the top of my matcha and it being hot, yum! When I got my drink it looked like a normal matcha that was iced. I was a little bummed out but I figured I would try it before forming any opinions about it. So it definitely tasted like a normal matcha but without any sweetener. I was super bummed by this point because I was looking forward to it. It is for sure on me for not talking to the barista about the drink but I am going to give the baristas the benefit of the doubt and hope that next time it will be made differently. On the other hand my bagel was great! I got a huge bagel with tons of cream cheese which was absolutely fantastic. On the other hand, my friend ordered a mocha latte with a turkey quiche. I didn't try her latter but she seemed happy with it. But let's talk about the QUICHE. It was jam packed with so many different flavors and textures! It was soft but not gooey and it was crunchy but not overly crispy. I will definitely order the quiche next time because WOW! Lastly, it was such a great spot to catch up with my friend. The music wasn't too loud, it wasn't rowdy and the staff was so kind. My friend and I were enjoying each others company a little too much that we didn't even notice the time and we stayed past closing! It was about 3 minutes over and in the most professional manner, the barista came by to let us know the shop was closed. We apologized many times but they were so patient and understanding. Overall, 5 stars well deserved! :)

After several times driving by, found my self with free moment to stop in and try this place out. Street hockey can be a little difficult with the gym couple spaces down. They do have their own dedicated parking in the rear Walken is a movie created by the staff. They were very patient while trying to take in the menu and decide what to get. Went with even though latte and matcha croissant. Both were amazing. It was an option to warm up the croissant, though I would not recommend it since the cream inside would probably turn into lava. It can get a bit loud when the shop is at capacity, but can still maintain a conversation. First time I've been to a coffee shop that has a roasting section in-house. Great spot. read more

Solid spot if you're in the Encino area! We tried the cardamom latte with oat milk and it was really good! You can actually taste the spices, and it's not overly sweet at all. Just a clean, well-balanced coffee drink. I'd give the coffee itself a solid 4/5. What really stood out though was the customer service. The barista was super helpful in guiding us through the menu, which I always appreciate. That kind of warmth makes a difference! We'd definitely come back when we're in the area. We went to LA for a vacation and we stopped here for a drink. I personally thought this place was pretty good. I really liked their peppermint mocha. The inside of the coffee shop was clean and cozy. Their service was also great too. The guy taking our order was very nice and helpful. Overall, great place and I highly recommend it. read more

Great spot for working. Lots of outlets, internet is really fast (300+ Mbps down), comfy seats. Music might be a bit loud if you want to take calls though. Matcha latte is pretty good too. Pretty easy street parking just a short walk up Oak Park Ave read more

One of my all time favorite coffee shops. I found this place last year and have loved it ever since. The americanos are my favorite and taste really good. The service is always great there and they get the orders out fast. Totally recommend to anyone who enjoys coffee or is looking for a coffee spot to try in the Valley. I recommend it to all my customers at work and have brought for them on a few occasions and the feedback was always positive. read more
Stopped by to get coffee with my mom earlier today. I have been at the Tarzana location a few times but my first time here. The coffee is delicious here. I got an iced americano and asked for milk on the side. Also a cold brew with milk. Both tasted good. The ambiance is chill but much smaller than the Tarzana location. Came in on a Sunday at 10 am. It was fairly quiet and not too busy. Coffee and tea was good. We had a maple oat coffee which was good and not overly sweet. The chai latte was also not overly sweet and had a good spice taste. Korean BBQ was good, quality ingredients and was assembled well. Spinach egg white wrap was okay, it was not great only because it is a pre heated food and mine was still cold in the middle. Only reason I have the place four stars. Overall good coffee and food selection. Parking was decent but it it on a busy street so I am sure on some days it might be a little hard. read more

Super cute place with great drinks and food. The service is fast and all the workers there are super nice and friendly. One thing I will say is if you've been to the Laidrey Tarzana about 1.5 miles away, this location is fairly small. I thought I would enjoy the size of it but it definitely gets way too crowded at times which means a lot of noise. If you want to just chill with friends and drink some coffee, Encino is a good location but if you are trying to study or get some good work done, go to Tarzana a couple blocks over. read more

Laidrey has been a coffee shop that has been on my list for some time. I heard about it first on a podcast where its owner said she got her start roasting her own coffee beans and selling from her cart to her coworkers. It's a story of ingenuity, curiousity, bravery. It makes one think, 'Hey, if I have a dream one day can I achieve it too?' That's what drew me to the shop located in Encino, to a shop whose namesake is a multi-hypenate of her children's names. The vibe in the shop is welcoming, vibrant, somewhat noisy but that's just because of the lively conversation and not the drowning out of a playlist. There's folks who seem like they frequent here routinely (daily, every weekend?) and there are folks like us who were curious and excited to check it out. We got some iced lattes and sat outside because we had our pup and folks beside us where engaged in friendly banter. They greeted us, we chatted, then they helped point us to a breakfast place. Seems simple enough, but where sometimes cafes can feel too this or that, this place hit just the right notes. The lattes, yes they were lovely. A nice delicate syrup and coffee/milk ratio. But this place will be momorable because it helped us feel delighted and welcomed. And that's not something easy to accomplish among the swell of coffee shops in LA. Check 'em out and maybe chat up a stranger. :) read more

Came here after my work out class and tris their limited time Sonnati Latte and it was AMAZING! If only they could keep it all year around. The location is easy to find. Staff were super helpful and gave me recommendations since it was my first time here. Definitely going back. read more
Popped by on a Sunday morning and it was super busy! Expect to stand in line for a bit. This location doesn't have as much seating as the other one, but they still have some tables inside, outside, as well as some bar top seating. It's such a great local spot! One of our favorite drinks here is the beach brew! This latest visit, I got a vanilla latte with almond milk. I really enjoyed the flavor of the espresso. I appreciated the subtle flavoring because I don't like overly sweet drinks, but I would have liked to have tasted the vanilla a little more. It almost just tasted like a regular latte. This is a great place to grab a coffee and go or sit and hang. Love Laidrey! Lots of yummy pastries available and they have breakfast burritos too! read more
we visited on Saturday morning and man was it busy! thankfully we found street parking quite quickly but i can see why it might be difficult to come since there is no real designated parking. the staff was very friendly, and the service was quick despite how busy they were. My boyfriend got the new banana latte, it was interesting to say the least, i don't think he would reorder it but we are glad we tried it. i ordered the maple oak latte, again it was interesting and i don't think i would reorder it. the space was very quite and cozy and ill be back for the cute vibes and maybe will stick to something more classic like a vanilla latte instead! read more

I've now been here twice and have enjoyed it both times. The lattes are smooth, the staff is friendly, and on a weekend morning or weekday morning there's plenty of seating. It's busy but still quiet, perfect if you need somewhere to get work done or meet friends for coffee. I have had the breakfast burrito and ham & cheese croissant, both were delicious but I do prefer the burrito. read more

Latte is good but not anything different about the coffee. Pastries looked a little dry for 11:00am. Staff is nice and helpful. Could use more energy in a coffee shop. The place looks nice but the vibe is mellow and kinda boring. The tables need to be attended to more often. I had to clean my spot. Nice place to meet up with friends. read more
