Being a coffee snob that I am, the coffee here is truely amazing. I was tempted to get some beans from here. What a delicious roast. A lot of indoor and outdoor spots available to work in and they also have cool looking tables to sit and hang out as well. Service was super friendly and do validate for parking.

Strawberry Matcha Medium Cold Brew

I love Stereoscope's Long Beach location and the WeHo location was just as great! They have my favorite strawberry matcha too. Cold brew was also good! Service was friendly ad prompt. The spot bad a lot of tables to sit and work. There's a parking structure too so parking is easy!

New stereoscope coffee location unlocked! I've been to the Echo Park location and every time I'm in the area it's always my first choice. Love the quality of coffee and just how very detailed they are overall. What I love the most is thought as I tagged them on Instagram they'll immediately ask how my visit was or how my coffee was. That shows they truly care. This location is a bit more spacious and very modern/minimalist which I love. Parking is a little tricky though as it's only street parking so if you get lucky then you scored.

Matcha latte (Hokatsu, unsweetened with oat milk)

I heard good things about Stereoscope's matcha, so I headed over before work. Staff was super nice and patient to explain the different types of matcha I could choose from for my latte. I opted for the Hokatsu matcha, and the drink came out pretty fast; I also appreciated staff bringing the matcha over to me! Taste-wise, it was strong and unsweetened, which is exactly how I like my matcha! There's street parking right in front of the café, and the interior is minimalist, but spacious to do work or have a friend catch-up. Overall, I approve of Stereoscope!

I love this Stereoscope location! The space is bright, spacious with a beautiful modern industrial vibe. There's plenty of seating (indoor and outdoor), including large communal tables. A great spot for getting some remote work done! They have 4 different ceremonial matcha types to choose from. I got the Yorokobi series matcha latte which was recommended to me. It was so smooth and I could tell that it was quality matcha. Parking - there's street parking available but they also validate at the garage for 1 hour

Was in the Hollywood area for some shopping and Yelp directed me to Stereoscope Coffee. Here's what we ordered... Spanish Latte: excellent Madagascar Vanilla Latte: excellent Service was great as they brought me my coffee even though I was taking it to go. The shop itself was beautifully designed and very spacious with high ceilings. They also had a bathroom. This shop is one of many stores on the bottom floor of a large apartment building. I was able to park inside their secured parking lot for free with 1 hour parking validation. I'll definitely be back.

I love how aesthetic this coffee shop is. Service is phenomenal and fast. I ordered a Spanish latte which was the perfect amount of sweet. There are areas to work inside or outside and of course everyone there is welcoming.

Ceremonial Matcha tonic

What a cute little coffee shop with some nice merch and colorful arts. We came in to kill some before our dinner nearby. This is a good sized place with a lot of seatings. But the chairs seem to be a bit hard to sit in for long time. We decided to have cold brew, cortado almond milk and ceremonial matcha tonic tea. The caffeine drinks were strong enough for me. Matcha tonic was very refreshing and tasty. The service was fast and friendly!

I was driving home on a Sunday afternoon post workout, and this coffee shop caught my eye! So as a matcha girlie, I think this is the best matcha I've ever had. I ordered a Nakama matcha with simple syrup, but it was the coolest thing to see different types of ceremonial matcha offered on the menu, based on region. I also ordered an Everything Croissant, which was so delicious. The croissant has hint of jalapeños in it for a very subtle kick. I loved how spacious this location is, a great place to work or study. There were a good amount of people visiting the coffee shop but it wasn't overcrowded because of how spacious this place is. Additionally, parking is metered all the way down Santa Monica Blvd., and there are plenty of spaces on cross streets. I will definitely be back, perhaps to remote work, but absolutely to try the other matcha options.

Cool set up

Okay this is a super cool, funky, little swank place if you need to take the time to get out of the home or office and do some side work. Absolutely plenty of table and chair space with power outlets so bring your devices and laptops. Staff are very sweet, caring and know their stuff. I was welcomed warmly and offered options for my drink and it was AMAZING! Parking is street parking but there's plenty of it.

Attractive and civilized coffee presentation

Stereoscope is among those few coffee shops where the serious pour over enthusiast should go to get their coffee when out and about. This is for people who drink their coffee black and read the tasting notes to see if they agree with the coffee sommelier. The decor is ultra clean minimalist brutalist modern, which coincidentally is great for focusing on work or scrolling. I ordered the least expensive pour over and it was fantastic. It was presented to me as if it were ceremonial tea, with an attractive glass and micro pitcher; I liked that. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and likes to talk coffee. There is street parking nearby or you can park in the garage and get validated for an hour, but you'll be validated for life if you visit because you'll be a far more sophisticated coffee drinker afterwards.

Love the vibe in here! Very minimalistic. Coffee is fantastic. I got the vanilla latte and it was so good! My hubby got the Spanish latte, great flavor. We also ordered some pastries. Lots of seating area inside and outside!

Is it the stark modern interior that draws in the monotone clientele? Needed a place to spend a few hours working and was drawn to this place. Maybe because that day I also chose to wear all black and white like every other customer and employee that stepped into this place the three hours I spent there. I fit right in - latte in a beautiful minimalist round cup that sat on a base. The aesthetics are strong here, but they are also backed up by relaxing vibes and good drinks. Quite spacious and plenty of room to work.

The main thing that stands out here is their 1987 coffee roaster which is the center piece of the cafe. They roast various single origin beans on a daily basis, so you know you can purchase some fresh coffee beans here. If you need your beans grounded, they do grind it for you depending on your brewing method. They have beans of light roast, medium roast and dark roast and sell by various weights for a very reasonable price. They also sell various tea leaves, baked goods (croissant, muffin, scones, bagel, Danish, coffee cake, Dessert Therapy cookies, and merchs. They also have a seasonable menu that changes. When I went, it was the Sakura season menu. Staff were all friendly and were very willing to answer any questions regarding the menu. Please note, the base coffee blend for each day varies and rotates on a daily basis For my visit, I tried ... 1. Buttered Coffee (4.5/5) The base coffee for the day was the Peru single origin, which was well-balanced; slightly sweet with a hint of tartness and nuttiness. They then add a chunk of butter into the coffee, which helps cut some of the acidity, but also is supposed to enhance the caffeine effect and give you additional energy from the fat. It does leave a layer of fat/oiliness so if you are not a fan of that, then this may not be for you. The butter did give it a subtle buttery flavor, which I personally liked. 2. Matcha with Sakura Cold Foam (4/5) The matcha was blended smoothly and was not grassy at all. The Sakura cold foam didn't really taste like Sakura (been to Japan, so know what real Sakura flavor should taste like), but instead, just tasted floral. 3. Columbia Supremo Whole Beans Full body and aromatic. Good for those who like to drink black coffee 4. Guatemala Huehuetenango Whole Beans: Crisp, acidic and a hint of nuttiness Glad I found this local roaster where I'll definitely be coming back to get some more fresh beans.

It was really interesting that one of the Americanos was made with Ecuador Los 4 Mundos beans, and the other was made with Colombia El Diviso. When a staff member brought over my hot Vanilla Latte, I asked to make sure it was decaf. He took it back just to double-check for me, and then confirmed that it was indeed decaf. The coffee here is all delicious, and the staff are incredibly friendly, which I really liked. However, the chairs were quite uncomfortable to sit in, and the Vanilla Latte was still pretty sweet even though I ordered it "less sweet." Still, the coffee tastes so good and the staff are so incredibly kind, so it's a really great coffee shop. P.S. A funny thing: They had dog treats in a jar. I immediately thought of my boss's absolutely super, incredibly cute dogs, so I asked for an empty cup and packed some treats to bring to the office for them today. But when I finished my coffee and was heading out, I totally forgot and accidentally threw the cup of treats away along with the empty coffee cups. OMG. (But seriously, all dogs and cats always absolutely love me. Hahaha. When I get to work, my boss's dogs come over wagging their tails and greeting me so excitedly--they are just so, so adorable. And as for cats, there's a stray that I've been feeding every single morning on my way to work for over 4-5 years now. She currently lives at the Buddhist temple I attend. Every day when I go, she follows me around everywhere. She absolutely loves it when I scratch her back with a brush, and when I'm done and try to leave, she taps my foot to tell me to scratch more! It's just so totally cute and lovable. It's a completely white cat, and so incredibly pretty.)

I was left wanting a different flavor than I expected. For context it was a Sunday morning so it might've been busy. But I ordered a flat white and it tasted like filtered water with a dash of coffee. There was absolutely no flavor and could barely taste the coffee. Maybe I don't know coffee well but I've been to tons of coffee shops in the west side and this is for sure one of the ones I was disappointed by. I'm willing to give the place a second chance but not sure.
