This place is deceptively large, I thought it was tiny from the store front. There are plenty of tables to make this your third, the vibe is chill and the coffee is pretty good too. They didn't have any oat milk when I went which was a bummer but they did have cocounut, soy and almond so it's not a total loss. There is a tiny parking lot in the front that is shared with the pie shop but it turns over pretty quick. Service was quick and friendly, the coffee was more on the bitter side but still pretty good. I'd try it again if I was in the neighborhood.
Passed by this coffee shop this past weekend and was not disappointed! The coffee was amazing. I love how they have a simple basic menu, not of that extra pumpkin cold foam stuff. Real authentic coffee. Definitely going to come back I recommend the hazelnut iced coffee with almond milk!
First time here, I decided to try the rose lavender latte and it was delicious! Super cute coffee shop, friendly staff , and I loved the vibe in there. There's sitting area outside too, which was nice :)

I walked in to live music playing on a Sunday afternoon , I order a drip coffee which was reasonably priced ( $1 refills) and ended up sitting outside since it was beautiful weather . Absolutely loved the decor and staff was friendly.
Heard this coffee shop has free live music every day, so I had to make a stop here! I came on a Sunday around 11AM, and it was pretty crowded! Parking was a bit difficult since they have a small parking lot which was already full when I got there. Luckily, there is also street parking, and I found a spot quickly. Inside, the interior was rustic but charming, and the ambiance was very lively. There was a small line to order, but the employees were very efficient, so it moved quickly. The cashier was also friendly and polite! I ordered an iced latte and a chocolate croissant. Total came out to $10.64, a bit pricey for my liking but standard pricing compared to most coffee shops. Waited around 5 minutes for my order, and when I went to pick it up, the barista who made my drink gave me a smile! Customer service A+! My iced latte tasted standard. There's no sweetness added to it since I didn't want to pay extra lol, but they have a coffee bar with different types of milk and sugars. I added some sugar packets, and my latte tasted just how I like it. They also have a microwave next to the coffee bar which is super neat, so I heated up my croissant. The chocolate croissant was good, but I saved it for later since I wanted to crisp it up using my air fryer at home. Overall, my items tasted like most cafes I've tried, so they were fine but nothing to rave about. As for the music, the band (Gold Line Jazz Collective) played Jazz music, and they were amazing! I didn't stay for long since I had to leave, but I really enjoyed it. Honestly, I'd come here again just for the vibes and music! Really cool coffee shop that I'd recommend visiting.
Over ten coffee shops in eight days between Altadena and Irvine, Jones made itself the clear winner from the very first sip of their blackberry mocha! Sublime and sensational blend of brew and smooth flavors, we all were run over with the craft here. To be honest we lost our inhibitions a bit and came back not once but three more times before our flight two days later ending with the Jones in Hollywood Burbank! Their Maya chai base is mixed perfectly. My white chocolate mint gave real sweet creamy notes and that new bite of thingy herb which I've never had before. A bummer we couldn't stay in this eclectic reformed barn vibe but as the parking situation wasn't too accommodating glad to leave room for others. This is the espresso place I hope to see again next time I'm in California.

Jones Coffee Roasters is located off of Raymond Ave. They have their own parking area with some spots, but there is also street parking as well. This place is very unique. It has that vintage antique aesthetic, but instead of being purely rustic, it feels curated in a fun, almost whimsical way. I ordered an Iced Caramel Latte & two Chocolate Chip Cookies. I enjoyed the latte and the cookies were fine, but still enjoyable. The vibe of the place makes it worth the visit. The other pasties looked very delicious so I do plan to come back to try those as well. FYI, I noticed two dogs in here so I believe they are dog friendly :)
Came here for the first time after lunch and I wish this place was closer to me! This cafe is so cool I was in love with the interior. When you first walk in you see how big this place is. So there's plenty of seating. There were so many antique pieces they use for furniture. I saw a wine bar on the other side of the coffee bar so I think they serve wine at night ? It wasn't too crowded when I went so they were able to take my order pretty quick. I got the iced latte and my mom got a hot coffee. Coffee was delicious. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to get coffee, meet with friends, or work.

Friday's at Jone's Coffee on Raymond... I almost grabbed the pre-fix breakfast burrito out of the fridge ... when the girl at the bar says... "We also got fresh tamales" "What kind!?" - I ask curious "Pork in red sauce " I almost interrupted her..."yes!" She smiles. The girl in line behind me... "I always come here on Friday's if I'm not eating tamales at home..." - that's code for "I'm Mexican " Well sista ... you don't have to be Mexican to enjoy a great tamale... My Dad's third wife is from Mexicali ; 25 years together ; RIP Dad... he passed away last year... 2/23 but his 30 years married to a woman from Mexicali... they say the third time is a charm...you can safely assume some of that Mexican culture has rubbed off on me over the years... as well ... So consider me Mexican... with a Mexican mother in law... she's my Mexi Mama... "This tamale is getting a check and a pass..." - my mind is saying It's Friday... What you waiting for... Grabbed an Oat Mocha and Raspberry scone thing to chase it down and a really strong day coffee refill for $1.00 set my food coma on delete... Jone's got that breakfast Menu on STRONG B!
Great coffee spot in Pasadena! During my Pasadena visit, I came across Jones Coffee Roasters. The cafe is very artsy with art all throughout. Very fun vibe! The menu consist of your basic coffee options, latte, espresso, Americana etc.. If you're not a coffee lover, there are non coffee options. There's pastry options as well if you need a quick bite. I got an iced vanilla latte which was perfect and a warm buttered croissant. Yum! There's plenty of parking which is always a big deal for me. They have both indoor and outdoor seating as well. Go check it out!
Love the vibe here!! I work in old town & have heard so many good things about Jones so I finally stopped by recently to try them out. I love the interior, it's so pretty. It has a very cozy vibe which I find so important. The baristas were really friendly too and I had a great little conversation with a couple of them. I was on the go so I didn't get to sit and stay for a bit but the coffee was also 10/10! I'd love to come back here on a day off and stay for a bit. Do be mindful that it might be a little hard for you to find parking nearby!
I needed an area in the afternoon while my apartment was getting worked on, and this would've been the perfect place if not, for the fact that they have no Wi-Fi. There also aren't many areas to charge your laptop, which, if I knew beforehand, I would've gone somewhere else since most of the coffee shops, I've been to double as a working location nowadays. But because this space changes to a bar at night, I can understand why they don't have those things. The staff were really nice in their suggestions of drink, but I wasn't too impressed with the cappuccino that I got. It was a little water down and didn't quite give me the boost I needed. The store had ample space for seating, inside and out. And it was a pleasant surprise to see a jazz band playing around nine in the morning! Even if the coffee didn't wake me up, they sure did. I would come back again just for the live music.
This is not your ordinary coffee shop. We arrived Saturday morning around 10am and picked up a small drip coffee for under $2. There is a serve yourself your own creamer refrigerator with tons of options. They even have a microwave where you can warm up your own pastry. It was crowded inside and no seating available but that's ok because we sat outside on the front patio area. Inside I noticed a wine bar too!! Then I saw musicians setting up and getting ready for sound check. Loved the vibes inside and very family friendly. There is a small parking lot but street parking is also available. Loved the antique decor on display and variety of wall flyers of local events. This is a very community friendly coffee/ wine spot that you must check out. read more
It has been a long time and I've always planned to get to Jones Coffee Roasters.... Finally had the chance to get there and it wasn't too busy when I arrived on a Sunday Morning... Love the decor...it is cool and unique...looks like they do wine at night too....tucked away on Raymond and not far from the Park and Humane Society.... Service was friendly and helpful....even customers were friendly... They don't have wi-fi which to me is usually a negative but I understand why.... First time here. Looked up coffee spots. Love the decor. Pricing seems pretty competitive. They just have a reason why they have a microwave so it yourself warming. Friendly staff. I'm impressed because the m pretty particular about my coffee. Too bad I don't live nearby to come by more often. Love they play music, seems like a college town vibe. Coffee is great not tangy like a lot of fancy coffee shops. Banana bread was great. I was curious about the Guatemalan flag hanging by the cabinet. I loved that. They have the creamers in fridge and you can serve yourself. And they are great brands, tells me this place is not pretentious and customers can serve as much as they want. When I'm in town I will be going here. read more
Man oh man. It's been a longggggg time Jones! The last time I was here was 12 years ago when I was in the trenches of depression from a terrible breakup. It's nice to visit the locations you've come to in the past to see how much you've grown from the wearing and tearing of the years of life. I ordered an iced oat latte and it reminded me that it indeed does take a long time for a local coffeeshop to perfect their craft, which Jones has properly executed. I don't know what oat milk they use but I could taste the depth to it and enjoyed every single sip. They also had a live band playing Monday morning at 9am. I think they were called the Triple Shot (?) correct me if I'm wrong but I thoroughly enjoyed their set to start off my week. The inside of this coffeeshop reminds me of Lestat's in SD combined with a local bar along Route 66. It's giving: small town vibez. read more
Found out about this coffee shop through the Pasadena Coffee Passport and what a cute little hidden spot! It's pretty lowkey - I would've definitely missed it if I was driving by. There is a small parking lot in front but street parking is available as well. The inside is homey and cute - great character. It also doubles as a wine bar in the evening, which I'm obsessed with. We ordered lattes, which were solid and were met with friendliness and quick service. Great staff. I would definitely drop by for a coffee date, a wine night or even a WFH/study session. read more
Jones Coffee Roasters (est 1993) is a family run coffee company in Pasadena. I have been to their other cafe shop on Mission street in South Pasadena but their location on Raymond avenue is absolutely chic and artsy with cool atmosphere; it's indoor decor has a rustic look and dim lit setting which is a perfect coffee date spot. ;D They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seats neatly arranged in their large space. Staff were competent and professional and drinks are reasonably priced. They have a compendious selection of coffee from blends to seasonal to decafs. Similarly, they have coffee bean bags, mugs, and decanter for sale. I had a hot Latte w/ whole milk. And it was perfectly made to my liking. Parking lot and street parking are available albeit very limited. I was lucky that I found a street parking spot. Overall, I enjoyed my coffee and their service. I'd definitely come back. I highly recommend this coffee shop. read more
Cute small coffee shop with good vibes and good, strong coffee! I've come here for years to just hang out or study back then! They used to do tamale Fridays but I don't think so anymore.. They also roast their own beans and sell tea leaves! Cute coffee shop. Very near Huntington hospital. Stopped by early morning to grab an iced latte. Easy parking in the lot or on the street. Service was good and even though there was a long line, the drinks were made quickly and efficiently! read more
I'm so sad it not what it used to be back in the day. It's so small and crammed. It was so hot outside but that was the only available seating. It was barely any cooler inside, felt like there was no AC. I couldn't find out the WiFi, usually there are signs but I didn't want to bother the busy workers. My drink tasted like dirt but I take part fault in the fact that a macchiato from Jones versus a macchiato from Starbucks are nowhere near the same thing. I hate to say that what was once a huge staple in my college career for studying is now nothing like it used to be. RIP to the old Jones. UPDATE: The owner responded with a snarky, patronizing message. He is clearly not open to honest feedback. Even went as far to claim I must be "confused" with another place. I still wish him continued success, hopefully with kinder, more constructive responses to criticism. read more

By far the best espresso I've found in the Pasadena area! I'm so hooked on this that I had to subscribe to an espresso bag every week and a half. Highly recommend if you make your lattes at home like I do. read more
Very convenient coffee shop from the Filmore metro station stop walk towards the medical center of the area. I simply had the danish + coffee and the coffee is fresh, perfectly roasted. Kind staff and a nice huge seating area inside with a cool front patio seating area. Definitely recommend if you want to relax and enjoy some time here, look for their events in case they have any. read more

The parking lot at jones is terrible! It's very small, and you'd be lucky to get a space. It's much easier to street park nearby and walk over. Once you're in, the coffee is delicious! I tend to like fancy lattes with flavorings, so I was a little disappointed in their menu. But once I got the coffee, I was very pleased with how it tasted with just simple vanilla! The beans themselves are the standout flavor in this drink. My boyfriend tried the pumpkin spice seasonal flavor and liked that it was the right temperature to drink quickly. He red it in his top 5 pumpkin spices this season! It also came out very quickly. Personally, I wish that they gave us order numbers rather than yelling the drink type. Otherwise, I was impressed with how quickly the drinks came out! We happened to go during a live acoustic performance, which was nice , but did make it crowded! read more

I frequently visit Jones. Their space is super fun and interesting. Today they have an accordion player. Friday-Tuesday they have live music in the mornings for about 2 hrs. The baristas are always very nice and make the drinks quickly. Our lattes were good as always, I love their espresso. read more
I've had Jones before at descanso gardens and have been meaning to come to a physical location in Pasadena and oh my I'm glad I came! Their espresso is so good. It's kinda earthy and a little sweet. I love it it's very smooth to me. I got an oat milk latte with SF caramel. I will have to come by more often to have a coffee and listen to some jazz. I love that it's very opening and allows for the community to come together. Service was good too. No issues here. And the parking lot is semi small. Like during the week I'm thinking there is more spots available but during the weekend it was pretty busy. There is lots of street parking tho. Overall really likes Jones and can't wait to come back. read more

Never disappointed with any visit to Jones. Espresso is strong with a balanced flavor. Service is great. Pastries are tasty. And they have wine tasting. What more can you ask for? Besides a bigger parking lot. Kidding, street parking is available also. Had a vanilla latte with a bran muffin post Sunday long run. Perfect for a chilly day. Bigger space and not as crowded as the South Pasadena location. Found a huge lounge chair to sink into while I savor my coffee. I always forget that they have $5 pours for alcohol on Fridays. I need to plan a trip with friends and add to my calendar. Jones has a great morning vibe, I can only imagine the evening drink vibe is just as chill. read more

Always love coming here. I love the new changes to the place. More space and more comfort plus there are large tables to share for doing remote work and/or school work. The matcha latte is good. Sugar free but you can add sugar if you want. The art and decor is just wonderful. It gives the place a unique personality and character. Now lets get down to the coffee and pastries. The basic coffee is delicious and the almond croissant is also very yummy. It has a almond butter filling that gives it that amazing mouth feel when combined with the crunchy texture of the almond chips and the outer crust of the croissant. Customer service is always friend and the food/beverage delivery is always efficient. The food is high quality. Been coming here since they opened and never been disappointed. This is a great place to relax and have a cup of coffee or tea while listening to some live music on Saturday and Sunday mornings. I come here a lot to do my math self-study work when I am tired of the library and working on it at home. I can come here during times when there isnt live music and put on my earbuds play some study music and really get down with working on math equations for fun and development while sipping some coffee. The crowd that comes here is a cool mix- lots of mature folks, some college age, even families with human and fur children and everything else inbetween. Generally speaking, the crowd is chill and good vibes. read more

Hello what brand of whole milk do y'all use?
We use organic from Rockview. We used to use Trader Joe’s and learned Rockview was their supplier. We went to the dairy farms and met the owner and his cows. We thought they seemed happy, so we stuck with them. My kids love the cows too.

Hi! Thanks for writing. At the Raymond location, the bollard polls are located on the North end if the parking lot (under the tents). There are rods welded to the backside of the pools that allow for locking. I hope this helps.
