So incredibly disappointed today. Wasn't expecting to step into a "bro house" with a bunch of college age kids spending more time chatting than working. With a line out the door you would think they would put more hustle into their work. But no chatting and making jokes as if we're all invisible. I waited 15 minutes for my drink and although my latte was good I'm too annoyed to actually enjoy it.

I always get a latte, but today I tried the new matcha blueberry bliss. So good! Their latte is great too.

Not often in the area, but this time I was and I was in need of my mid day pick me up. One of the only stand alone coffee shops in the area, so we decided to give it a try instead of going to one of the many Starbucks. Located in a shopping center with decent parking. The coffee shop itself was decently big and adequate if you're looking for a space to get work done or study. Ladies working the espresso machines and cash register were cordial and efficient. Decided to try both their matcha and a typical vanilla latte. The matcha drink was good and looked more concentrated than others I've had recently. Could be from the type of ceremonial grade matcha they use, or they used a higher gram amount. You could definitely taste the complexity of the matcha itself within the drink, even with the strawberry added. If you're looking for a stronger matcha flavor with less sweetness, I'd recommend coming here. Now onto the vanilla latte. Wasn't able to peak and see the type of syrup they use, but this latte was very enjoyable. Though no flavors of either coffee or vanilla stood out as a wow factor, they both complimented each other very pleasantly. Not too sweet and not too milky. This latte was done just right. If I'm looking for a reliable iced latte, I'd come here anytime. 4.6/5

I would give my experience a 3.5 but I am rounding up to a 4. My family and I were driving through town and decided to look up somewhere to grab a treat. We stopped by around 4pm. The cafe seemed pretty lively. My sister got a pastry (there were only two pastries left). We asked the barista for his recommendation for drinks and he suggested a cinnamon roll latte (his go to). I ordered mine half sweet with extra ice and oat milk - very good! My only complaint about my visit is the cafe itself seemed very unclean, the restroom & coffee shelves seemed like they were not taken care of in a while. The drinks and service were great but I would consider revisiting as a customer due to the unclean restroom and cafe.

Reborn is my fave coffee shop lately. I love getting the chaga matcha latte with almond milk. The baristas are nice and I like the music that's playing. The print out menu next to the register is updated much more than the menu on the wall.

Cute little coffee shop in la crescenta area, opens till 7pm. We got a chai latte and a matcha, chai was pretty good, it had a good chai flavor without it being too sweet. The matcha was whatever, it didn't have that deep matcha flavor that I wanted. The service is really good, the girl was very patient and polite with us, we came 10 mins before closing time and asked her alot of questions :) I haven't tried their coffee yet, so I'll probably come back to try it!

Interior. Has a little cute space with additional seating to the side.

Very cute coffee shop I stumbled across while I waited for my car to be fixed. It is located in a small plaza with ample parking. It's early in the day, so I cannot say how busy it can be when looking for a parking spot. Ordered an iced Nutella latte. I would get it again, but there is barely a hint of that Nutella flavor I'm looking for. If I'm in the area, I'd stop by and try out something else as I'm sure everything would be good. Extremely friendly staff!

Open airy and not loud. Coffee hits the spots. The bagel sandwich hits the spot. Next to my fave lagree studio, Lab Lagree. Only gripe is wifi connection is spotty as hell. Could not do anything. It keep disconnecting and the place was not full at 8am. So not good for work or study if you need to.

Stopped by Reborn Coffee and wow, I'm officially obsessed with their lavender latte. Smooth, perfectly balanced, not too sweet. You can taste the quality. The staff was so friendly they made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The coffee shop was so cute, urban, and clean. Only complaint? I wish there was one in Sunland, because I'd be there daily.! This spot is a gem.

I like that there is this option nearby for folks who want to support an alternative chain coffee business. Taste and Quality - Reborn promotes itself as "fourth wave" coffee yet the taste of the cappuccino this morning was unfortunately slightly burned. The bag of coffee was $22 and no certification of fair trade, b corporation logos that I could find. The coffee bag I purchased was better in flavor than the espresso. Plant Based Options - They charge higher for plant based milks vs skim or regular dairy milk for total of ~$6 for each cappuccino. Customer Service / Vibe - I got there early around 6:50am, I was one two customers beyond the person sitting down already. I got no acknowledgement even as I get to the register. I said "hi" and he responded. Another person came in after me as I waited for my cappuccinos, and noticed that again neither staff member acknowledged him and they left him hanging by the register for a few minutes while cashier put away pastries into the baked goods glass showcase. I appreciated that they open earlier than other coffee shops, and what looks like a nice play for working or studying but with the vibe and the not so great espresso, I will not go back.

Ricotta cake is sooo good here. It was the perfect pair to my iced oat latte to start off my morning yesterday.

Really cute shop. I stopped in to do some work before a doctors appointment. The strawberry matcha was sooooo good! The chocolate croissant was just fine - I like more chocolate. They had free WiFi, but it wasn't working for me - I wasn't staying for long though so I didn't bring it up.

This local favorite has carved a reputation for exceptional specialty coffee and a warm, inviting atmosphere that keeps me coming back again and again. My absolute favorite drink here is the Fancy Iced Latte -- it's perfectly balanced, refreshing, and never too sweet while still highlighting the rich espresso flavor. Locals and visitors alike often rave about the quality of the coffee and the care that goes into every cup. When it comes to food, the turkey and provolone croissant is a personal favorite -- flaky, buttery, and packed with savory goodness that pairs wonderfully with a cold latte. I also love the everything bagel danish; it's deliciously unique, with a satisfying savory twist that hits the spot in the morning. Both pastries reflect the same thoughtful quality you see in their coffee offerings. The vibe here is cozy and welcoming, with knowledgeable, friendly staff and a neighborhood energy that makes it easy to relax or get some work done. Unincorporated has become a cherished part of the community, and I can confidently say it's one of the best coffee experiences in the area. If you haven't been yet, put it on your morning coffee rotation -- you won't regret it!

The main thing that stands out here is their 1987 coffee roaster which is the center piece of the cafe. They roast various single origin beans on a daily basis, so you know you can purchase some fresh coffee beans here. If you need your beans grounded, they do grind it for you depending on your brewing method. They have beans of light roast, medium roast and dark roast and sell by various weights for a very reasonable price. They also sell various tea leaves, baked goods (croissant, muffin, scones, bagel, Danish, coffee cake, Dessert Therapy cookies, and merchs. They also have a seasonable menu that changes. When I went, it was the Sakura season menu. Staff were all friendly and were very willing to answer any questions regarding the menu. Please note, the base coffee blend for each day varies and rotates on a daily basis For my visit, I tried ... 1. Buttered Coffee (4.5/5) The base coffee for the day was the Peru single origin, which was well-balanced; slightly sweet with a hint of tartness and nuttiness. They then add a chunk of butter into the coffee, which helps cut some of the acidity, but also is supposed to enhance the caffeine effect and give you additional energy from the fat. It does leave a layer of fat/oiliness so if you are not a fan of that, then this may not be for you. The butter did give it a subtle buttery flavor, which I personally liked. 2. Matcha with Sakura Cold Foam (4/5) The matcha was blended smoothly and was not grassy at all. The Sakura cold foam didn't really taste like Sakura (been to Japan, so know what real Sakura flavor should taste like), but instead, just tasted floral. 3. Columbia Supremo Whole Beans Full body and aromatic. Good for those who like to drink black coffee 4. Guatemala Huehuetenango Whole Beans: Crisp, acidic and a hint of nuttiness Glad I found this local roaster where I'll definitely be coming back to get some more fresh beans.

It had to be new; when I lived in the area five years ago, it simply didn't exist. I'm a firm believer in supporting local businesses, so I made a spontaneous U-turn and decided to see what this place was all about. Serendipity, it turns out, has excellent taste! First impressions were strong. A generous parking lot, a welcoming outdoor patio, and the kind of calm confidence that suggests a place run with intention. Inside, I was greeted by a young cashier who was warm, sweet, and effortlessly professional. The pastry and cake display immediately pulled me in, but curiosity led me to ask about breakfast. She walked me through an impressively wide menu, and my eyes locked onto the ajarski--beautifully described as a boat-shaped dough crowned with cheese and two large eggs. I asked her to add protein, and I chose to go with bacon. A double espresso sealed the deal. The interior is spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with large windows framing Foothill Boulevard and the rolling Tujunga hills beyond. I took a seat facing the window, soaking in the view as the city moved quietly outside. The espresso arrived first--rich, full-bodied, and perfectly textured, not the watered-down imitation too often passed off as a "double." Then came the ajarski. Let me be clear: I've traveled extensively and eaten ajarski in many corners of the world. What landed on my table here was on another level. Every detail was dialed in. The cheese melted luxuriously, the bacon was savory perfection, and the dough--golden, airy, and baked at just the right temperature--delivered depth of flavor with every bite. This wasn't just good; it was intentional cooking, executed with care and pride. I lingered, enjoying the ambiance, the food, and the attentive service. The tip was more than deserved. This place is professionally run, thoughtfully curated, and genuinely uplifting. It put a smile on my face and gave me the kind of energy that carries you through the rest of the day. Highly recommended. A true neighborhood gem--and one I'll be returning to often.
