Arnies Bakery & Cafe offers a huge menu at a very reasonable price. We got zaatar flat bread, cheese flat bread, ajarski, Potato perashki, lemon cake pastry, crème brûlée which was so good. The inside of the place is so nice to hang out and the outside has a play zone for kids along with a small soccer field. Which is perfect for getting them off their devices. I've driven by this café so many times and finally decided to stop in and I'm so glad I did! They have such a great selection of pastries that it's honestly hard to choose just one. I ended up getting the pistachio slice cake, and it was delicious! I was also pleasantly surprised to see they offered a chai matcha since I had been craving both chai and matcha but couldn't decide between the two. It was the perfect drink for me. Absolutely phenomenal. I went there once for an affogato and I kept coming back because of the vibes and the quality of the food not only that but everything is decently priced, and the customer service is phenomenal. I had a great experience at Arnie's. The staff is not only friendly but very funny. I have actually never been to Tujunga at all but this def set the tone. Had a delicious caramel latte and a red velvet muffin. The cheese rolls really are so so good. I want to come back and try even more things. The place is very cute and decorated well. This is a great little hidden gem in Tujunga!! Met the owner when we came for breakfast and it was great to have a conversation and learn about all they do. They use the best ingredients and they care for the quality of food that they serve. I appreciated this especially since many cafes don't care and try to just do whatever with no thought behind it. They have several seating available for large parties and a ton of food choices for the long hours they are open. Can't wait to go back and try some other dishes during lunch or for a late night snack since they are open late. read more

So my husband had told me to check out Arnie's cafe because they have really good coffee and pastries. So to Arnie's I went. Located on Footjill Blvd it's a cozy little spot which has a drive thru also. I got myself an avocado toes and latte and the employees told me I have to try their banana bread, which all never say no to. ...the employee dancing after I said I loved it Then she said I should check out their actually bakery down the street. So the very next morning i drove there. Such an awesome spot. This time I got an iced matcha, the banana bread again (duh) and their lavash breakfast sandwich. Again, everything was a hit!! Also they have a little play structure in their patio for kids and they have pony rides on Saturdays from 9 to 3 . We will defining be back here with our marshmallows. I asked her to add protein, and I chose to go with bacon. A double espresso sealed the deal. The interior is spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with large windows framing Foothill Boulevard and the rolling Tujunga hills beyond. I took a seat facing the window, soaking in the view as the city moved quietly outside. The espresso arrived first--rich, full-bodied, and perfectly textured, not the watered-down imitation too often passed off as a "double." Then came the ajarski. Let me be clear: I've traveled extensively and eaten ajarski in many corners of the world. What landed on my table here was on another level. Every detail was dialed in. The cheese melted luxuriously, the bacon was savory perfection, and the dough--golden, airy, and baked at just the right temperature--delivered depth of flavor with every bite. This wasn't just good; it was intentional cooking, executed with care and pride. I lingered, enjoying the ambiance, the food, and the attentive service. The tip was more than deserved. What a nice surprise on a bright Monday afternoon. I was craving a new bakery and Arnie's did not disappoint. It's a bakery and cafe so they had an extensive menu. I ordered a chai latte and 5 stars for having goat milk. Also had some pastries which were so so good but I can't remember their names if you paid me. I have visited multiple times the main location and also the charming drive-through. The staff is impeccably welcoming, and the pastries OMgoodness!!!! I traveled to childhood memories and then some. Their cake slices have been incredibly not so sweet and flavorful. The drinks are also not extremely sweet and I keep having to go get more of everything. The charming little soda-style plastic cans full of tiny morsels are adorable and filled with tasty treats. I think more people should try this gem in Tujunga. I recently visited this lovely café and bakery after listening to the owner on LAist's Friday food segment & took the drive out from Hollywood to Tujunga and had such a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious -- truly authentic Armenian flavors that felt homemade and full of heart. I had the the Breakfast Boat - kind of a boat shaped dough with cheese & eggs - so so good! The owner, Arnie, is fantastic: warm, personable, and clearly passionate about what he creates. The staff were equally caring and genuinely interested in honest feedback, which made the visit feel even more welcoming. Curiosity got me to pull over to try the baked goods here. I was hoping to find a little wider pastry selection, but found this interesting rum baba on the left and the creme brûlée donut on the right. I took a chance on both even though the woman working there said she thinks the baba is very overpowering in flavors. I wish that had been the case. Instead, it was very dry and inedible.
