Thank you Le Bon Patissier for making my daughter's bday cake so beautiful and tasty. Your cakes are always delicious and fresh. I will definitely be ordering all my cakes from you. Your service and customer care is amazing too. Appreciate your business.

Great French loaves and chocolate chip cookies. Tough parking but the service was friendly.

    Nutella Napol $2.50

Popped in for the first time with a friend that was putting together holiday baskets for clients. I'm so happy she did, I would have never found this place on my own. It's teeny tiny store front that is adjacent to a liquor store with a funny name... My friend bought a few trays of amazing cookies and pastries that would be the centerpiece at any holiday gathering (as if we were "allowed" to have holiday gatherings in 2020. But hey, they are freezable right? I purchased the Nutella Napol pastry which was a great bargain for $2.50. It's enough for 2 adults. you could divide it into quarters to be modest, then go back for a second helping if you don't want to be glutenous... actually glutenous would be more apt if you ate the whole thing... which is totally plausible. That's why they have a smaller single serving size for those without self control. I prefer to take a little piece and go back for seconds. But to each their own. (see what pronoun I used there? so PC) I also bought a package of mixed apricot and raspberry pastry that will be great with coffee or tea. Again, the goal is not intensionally or unintentionally eat them all in one sitting. They are little two bites of perfectly light and airy crunchy pastry with a sweet tart swath of jam, sprinkled with powdered sugar. AND! If your attempts with cookie cutters and royal icing turn you into a Grinch this holiday season, they offer a colorful assortment of decorated cookies that are good for eating or display. I'll definitely come back again!

    Pumpkin pie

This is the pumpkin pie that we ordered from this bakery for Thanksgiving. It was all crust with a 1/8 inch layer of pumpkin pie filling. Obviously not edible and we figured that the bakery would want to make it right. Not so. When we went in to get a refund, showing them the pies the next day, they asked us what was wrong it it, and attempted to refuse a refund. We pushed back and they finally issued the refund but yelled at us that we not return. No problem. Just giving other customers a heads up on this pace.

Great place to get fresh pastry's and things of that sort. The staff is always incredibly welcoming and very respectful. One thing I can guarantee is that you'll always be treated well no matter the occasion. The workers will always brighten up your day. The parking for the most part is always available even though there are few. One recommendation I do have is that you try out the chocolate ponchik absolutely to die for! French Bakery is great all around, you couldn't complain even if you wanted too. Will definitely be a returning customer.

Purchased a box of Apricot Roll Cookies, from Royal Fresh on Sherman Way. It literally has a tiny drop of Apricot filling and it's all dough. Very frustrating that they cheat their customers in this manner.. Never buying their brand again. Go to Porto's or any Non Armenian bakery and you will get your moneys worth.

I ordered a bday cake from here and it was absolutely amazing! Tenia the baker made it happen! The picture says it all! Thank you!

    Cookies Galore!

Stopped for some cookies for Mother's Day, and they had a nice selection. Excited to see how my aunt likes them but we like them a lot. Tasty, but not too sweet, treats. The manager inside was very kind, too! -2 stars for the guys smoking in front of the entrance that very clearly has a "No mask, No entrance" sign, and then not wearing masks. I hope they consider how this reflects on the business.

More like dry dough with the absence of apricot jam inside..
    Leo N.

Cheaping out on some jam? It's a shame to only put a dab of yellow jam coloring on each end of it to give the illusion of apricot cookies but in reality you open it up inside is empty and just rolls of dough. Needless to say it went straight into the trash. Stay away from this place!

Thank you for your response. I appreciate that you took the time to reply, but I believe your…read moreresponse misses the main issue. Good business etiquette is simple: when a business makes a mistake, it should acknowledge it, correct it immediately, sincerely apologize to the customer, and ensure the customer leaves satisfied. That builds trust and demonstrates accountability. Instead, much of your response focuses on explaining that the price tag may have been moved accidentally by staff or customers. Those are explanations, not accountability. This was one of the last two pieces left in the display, and the incorrect price tag should have been noticed well before my purchase. As I also stated in my response to the Agricultural Commissioner of Weights & Measures Inspector, I am almost certain that after I shared my experience and reviews on social media, the pricing discrepancies would have been already corrected. If that is the case, I genuinely hope those changes help make sure future customers are charged accurately and fairly. Regarding the Kyiv cake, my concern is relatively minimal compared to the pricing issue. It simply did not taste as good as it used to. It lacked the freshness and flavor we had previously enjoyed, and it tasted somewhat stale. This is the least of my concern. What concerns me most is the lack of accountability. Businesses earn customer loyalty by owning their mistakes, not by offering explanations for why they may have happened. A sincere apology, immediate correction and a commitment to making things right would have been a much more appropriate response.

Stopped by because I've been on an Armenian pastry trend at this time. I ended up grabbing some nazook, medium lahmajun, and also decided to give the beef khachapuri kabob a try as I haven't seen that offered at other spots I've tried. Service was quick and on point and the lahmajun did take about 10-15 minutes as they make them fresh. They have a pretty expansive patio where you can enjoy your goodies and hang out. Parking can be a bit of a challenge as it is mostly street parking, but I managed to snag a spot a few blocks away. As for the food, the nazook is amazing and better than a few other bakeries I've tried in Glendale. The lahmajun was also amazing and very flavorful with a good amount of meat. And lastly, the beef khachapuri kabob was amazing! It had that nice smoky charcoal flavor in the meat and worked well with the surrounding pastry. Definitely will be back again and bringing friends to this Glendale gem!

I mentioned it was my first time and ordered a cheese byorek, custard Napoleon and americano, but when she brought my food out on a plate there were a couple extra nazook pastries I didn't ask for. When I mentioned it she said "it's okay it's your first time". So kind of her! the pastries and coffee I paid for came to about $15, the pastries were pretty big so I felt like it was a good deal. The cheese byorek was so flaky and puffy with a really tasty cheese filling throughout. It was still crispy too! Although I liked the flavors of the napoleon, sadly it wasn't crispy at all and pretty soggy. I'm not sure how long this sat in the display but the texture was my only disappointment about it. Coffee was good, simple, and the barista was very nice too. As for the nazook - they were amazing! Me and my mom make nazook at home all the time, but with nuts and a few differences. This did not have any filling per se but it was so fluffy and chewy and crispy on the outside and all buttery goodness! I will definitely be back to Art's

Always a pleasant experience at these bakeries. This Glendale bakery café was clean, bright, and beautifully organized with a large variety of pastries, cakes, and drinks on display. The pastries were soft and flavorful without being overly sweet, and the cakes looked just as good as they tasted. The curry croquette wasn't a favorite of mine. The black coffee was also a letdown. It was so bitter that I needed to add milk to make it drinkable, and I'm someone who normally enjoys black coffee.
