Right here in Tujunga, this is the spot if you want something that feels authentic and homemade. Their Sheet Cakes are consistently moist and the frosting is never too heavy or overly sweet. I've ordered for several small gatherings, and the Gata is always a hit too. Not sure where to start! 1. Cleanliness 10/10: the place is always spotless. Everyone has their hair covered. They don't touch the food with hands. 2. Customer service 10/10: it's usually either the owner or her daughter. Both are super sweet, will answer all my questions and considerate of my time. I have never waited for anything longer than 2 minutes. 3. The quality and the taste: everything I got so far was delicious! The cakes, savory items, the bread, blinchik, tolma, soups. Everything! 4. Prices: reasonable! Not expensive but not cheap either (they use good quality products so it definitely cannot be cheap). I love this local bakery!!!! Everything is amazing!!!! I haves ordered my so. Bday cake , bought a cake last minute, even walked in to get some perashkye and lamaju and everything made fresh and delicious. I'm not originally from Armenia but our guests who are said that it tasted just like the homeland ! Perfection . Aside from the food being great , the staff is friendly and kind and always willing to help. It's very clean and always has so many fresh options from deserts to meals with so much variety. So I had a craving for baklava, and just moved to this town a couple months ago. Walked in for the first time, woman behind counter was so cheerful and kind. I didn't have enough money for the baklava tray so she asked me how much I had and then she decided to give me a smaller portion of the tray! Got the Dubai chocolate bar for $25! Biggest waste of money. I need my refund. It was disgusting to say the least. If you are charging that much add a decent amount of pistachio cream. Was so dry and they filled the bottom with a thick layer of white chocolate. I don't recall the Dubai chocolate having that. Biggest disappointment!!!!! read more

The place looks very pretty. It caught my eye, i live near by. I needed a last minute cake for going over to celebrate his birthday. I walked in and no one greeted me. I was looking for someone and couldn't see them. Finally saw someone behind the counter and i said hi. I asked for cakes. Service wasn't great. The price of the smallest cake was $42. Its overpriced as well. The box was cute that the cake went into. But i asked her to wrote happy birthday and she wrote it on the back side of the cake. Smh. I was so happy to see the Grand Opening signs on La Mia Bakery Cafe. I was on my way to another local bakery and turned the car around to try it out. Such a cute place, the customer service is great, and the baked goods are fantastic! I ordered quite a bit because I was taking it to a function, and everything I ordered was wonderful. They even have lahmajune! Fresh and not spicy, very delicious and presentable. I had ordered a couple dozen and my family thought it was great. I also ordered nazooks - both with and without nuts. The dough is flaky, buttery and the fillings are delicious. The cheese borek and spinach borek, as well as an assortment of beautiful decorative cookies were enjoyed by everyone. They also have an array of beautifully artistic cakes and a cream pastries, and Cici (the sweet woman behind the counter) said they will be expanding their menu. It's so nice to have such a quality bakery in our neighborhood. Please stop by and check them out! read more

This bakery is awesome I went here for the first time today and I was not disappointed! All the pastries looked tempting and the decorations were so adorable! When you take a bite of the pastries and the cakes you can tell the ingredients are the best! the Raffaello Cake (Coconut Almond Cake) is the best and the tiramisu is also wonderful. this will be my new bakery whenever I want sweets.
