The coffee is fantastic which is to be expected. I just came for the coffee early one morning. No waiting. Lots of baked goods though I didn't get any. Because it was so early there was lots of street parking.

I love Jones coffee roasters and had never been to this location. I always thought the Raymond Ave location was its own. Pleasant surprise coming here. Same great coffee sane exceptional service and bonus. I get to see my favorite baristas as they switch from each location. This one has a different vibe a bit more eclectic and dare I say "cool"? No live music but a nice upstairs area with plenty of seating and a different more laid back crowd. They still serve the best tasting coffee in the area hands down.

Enjoyed my coffee at this location. Plenty of sitting indoors and outdoors. Not too busy on a Sunday afternoon.

    Outside entrance. Coffee awaits.

This is a very cute coffee shop in a very cool, old building. I don't go for the sugary milkshakey coffee drinks but the cold brew was smooth and delicious. It tasted like quality coffee to me. The counter folks were very friendly. Park on the street and good luck to you with that.

I have been going to Jones for well over a decade. I like to support local businesses and their coffee has always been on point. The South Pasadena shop is in a charming vintage building with very cute chair related decor. Service is very good and the coffee is still wonderful. I usually order the latte and the foam is very light, almost like a cappuccino. They have indoor and outdoor tables and it's a good spot to do some people watching outside.

Definitely an all-time favorite in Pasadena! This spot is absolutely lovely, nice ambiance and the drink selection is more than you could ask for. I usually stick with a latte hot or iced or a cappuccino, but I recommend anything on the menu. Check it out if you have the chance!

Came here to get some work done on my computer and was SHOCKED when I was told there is no WiFi at this establishment. What kinda coffee shop doesn't have WiFi? They have a beautiful outdoor space but there's no point because I couldn't get work done

Chill coffee spot in charming South Pasadena. Love the old-school vibe--red brick building surrounded by a variety of plants, tucked right beside the train station. Plenty of patio space for seating. The two-story interior is super cozy, with wooden floors, antique decor, and large pane windows. Many people come here to read, chat, or simply soak in the peaceful atmosphere. The coffee was absolutely delicious--hot, decadent, and creamy. Perfect for a chilly winter day. The staff is very friendly and accommodating! I'll definitely be back

I wandered over here on a Saturday morning. They were across from the thrift/vintage and antique shops. Baristas were friendly. I was surprised to see they offer Fosselman's ice cream here! I got an iced latte with oat milk that was pretty good. No complaints there. There isn't much seating on the bottom floor, but there is plenty of seating upstairs. The bathroom is also upstairs and has an open window 0_o. They have lots of outdoor seating. It's a pretty peaceful place to read a book or journal or sketch here. Imagine old flimsy wooden chairs that need new paint jobs. Parking - I found free street parking in a residential area.

I'd never get tired of having a love affair with coffee. With that being said, let's begin this spectacular review. :D Jones Coffee Roasters (est 1993) is a family run coffee company in South Pasadena. This coffee shop is a two story building with brick exposed interior/exterior walls. Their atmosphere has a cool vibe, staff were competent and professional and drinks are reasonably priced. They have a compendious selection of coffee from blends to seasonal to decafs. Similarly, they have teas, mugs, and merch for sale. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seats. I have known this cafe for years but never really had the chance until now. I ordered a Cafe Au Lait (M) x whole milk. It was brewed great! Overall, I enjoyed my coffee and service. I'd definitely come back. I highly recommend them.

Background On Shop: Believe it or not, but this coffee shop use to be Busters! Parking: There's street parking in the neighboring streets. I usually park in the public parking lot located on the SE corner of Mound Ave. and Hope St. and just have a nice 3 block stroll. Restroom: There is a restroom on the 2nd floor, but during our visit it was out of order. Credit Cards: They're accepted. Ambiance: Pretty cool ambiance, but can be busy. There's still a Buster's vibe to the shop. They also have a second floor that feels a bit like a library. Not ideal place to do work if you don't have a personal hotspot. So it can/maybe adequate for someone that wants to unwind, people watch, catch up with a friend, or even read. Service: Service is pretty good and drinks come out at a decent time. Coffee Of Choice: The drip coffee is very good. Please try to take it all in without all the creamer/milk/sugar. Appreciate the coffee.

Cozy little neighborhood coffee shop located across the street from the South Pasadena Metro. There are numerous shops, restaurants, and eateries on this street. Service is friendly. Love their coffee. They offer ice cream, as well as food and pastry items. While they have upstairs, indoor, and outdoor tables, seating is very limited. This location is very popular and never not packed with patrons. Tip: order your items to go and enjoy them walking the cute South Pas neighborhood and/or shop local stores.

It was really interesting that one of the Americanos was made with Ecuador Los 4 Mundos beans, and the other was made with Colombia El Diviso. When a staff member brought over my hot Vanilla Latte, I asked to make sure it was decaf. He took it back just to double-check for me, and then confirmed that it was indeed decaf. The coffee here is all delicious, and the staff are incredibly friendly, which I really liked. However, the chairs were quite uncomfortable to sit in, and the Vanilla Latte was still pretty sweet even though I ordered it "less sweet." Still, the coffee tastes so good and the staff are so incredibly kind, so it's a really great coffee shop. P.S. A funny thing: They had dog treats in a jar. I immediately thought of my boss's absolutely super, incredibly cute dogs, so I asked for an empty cup and packed some treats to bring to the office for them today. But when I finished my coffee and was heading out, I totally forgot and accidentally threw the cup of treats away along with the empty coffee cups. OMG. (But seriously, all dogs and cats always absolutely love me. Hahaha. When I get to work, my boss's dogs come over wagging their tails and greeting me so excitedly--they are just so, so adorable. And as for cats, there's a stray that I've been feeding every single morning on my way to work for over 4-5 years now. She currently lives at the Buddhist temple I attend. Every day when I go, she follows me around everywhere. She absolutely loves it when I scratch her back with a brush, and when I'm done and try to leave, she taps my foot to tell me to scratch more! It's just so totally cute and lovable. It's a completely white cat, and so incredibly pretty.)

This local favorite has carved a reputation for exceptional specialty coffee and a warm, inviting atmosphere that keeps me coming back again and again. My absolute favorite drink here is the Fancy Iced Latte -- it's perfectly balanced, refreshing, and never too sweet while still highlighting the rich espresso flavor. Locals and visitors alike often rave about the quality of the coffee and the care that goes into every cup. When it comes to food, the turkey and provolone croissant is a personal favorite -- flaky, buttery, and packed with savory goodness that pairs wonderfully with a cold latte. I also love the everything bagel danish; it's deliciously unique, with a satisfying savory twist that hits the spot in the morning. Both pastries reflect the same thoughtful quality you see in their coffee offerings. The vibe here is cozy and welcoming, with knowledgeable, friendly staff and a neighborhood energy that makes it easy to relax or get some work done. Unincorporated has become a cherished part of the community, and I can confidently say it's one of the best coffee experiences in the area. I understand mistakes happen, and I did overhear them saying it was someone else's error--they weren't sure how the $26 tag ended up there. It sounded like that price might have been the original Japanese yen price without markup. I guess it really was too good to be true.
