This coffee shop was in walking distance to the SugarMynt gallery. I wanted a pick me up for the drive home so decided to come check this coffee shop out. I ordered a dirty chai and my niece ordered an iced matcha. Our drinks were delicious! Customer service was nice and the coffee shop was very spacious with upstairs seating and outside seating as well. We had a good experience coming here!

Cozy neighborhood coffee shop vibes. People of all ages were chilling with their coffee or other caffeine drinks with their books or laptops. I stopped by here because I had some time to kill before an appointment nearby. It was my first time in this area of south pas. It's across the street from the metro station, very convenient. I sat outside after getting my order because it was busy inside. No seats available around 2pm on a Monday. I ordered an iced latte with oat milk. The latte was creamy but the espresso didn't have a strong taste. The pain au chocolate was tasty and a nice afternoon treat.

I love Jones coffee roasters and had never been to this location. I always thought the Raymond Ave location was its own. Pleasant surprise coming here. Same great coffee sane exceptional service and bonus. I get to see my favorite baristas as they switch from each location. This one has a different vibe a bit more eclectic and dare I say "cool"? No live music but a nice upstairs area with plenty of seating and a different more laid back crowd. They still serve the best tasting coffee in the area hands down.

Cutie little coffee shop. My sister and I were in the area so we decided to stop by for our coffee and I'm glad we did. I love that they have orange juice and apple juice for your child to feel included. It's a cozy shop with lots of indoor and outdoor sitting. Staff were friendly and drinks were made quickly. The lattes were tasty and there is a vintage store right across the street I must check out next time. If we had not been in a rush we would've walked down the streets nearby since there's lots to see. We will be stopping by again next time we're nearby for some coffee & exploring.

This is a very cute coffee shop in a very cool, old building. I don't go for the sugary milkshakey coffee drinks but the cold brew was smooth and delicious. It tasted like quality coffee to me. The counter folks were very friendly. Park on the street and good luck to you with that.

The coffee is fantastic which is to be expected. I just came for the coffee early one morning. No waiting. Lots of baked goods though I didn't get any. Because it was so early there was lots of street parking.

This is one of my favorite places to grab a lavender iced coffee in the area. I also recommend the soyrizo breakfast burritos! I love the outside seating.

Enjoyed my coffee at this location. Plenty of sitting indoors and outdoors. Not too busy on a Sunday afternoon.

I have been going to Jones for well over a decade. I like to support local businesses and their coffee has always been on point. The South Pasadena shop is in a charming vintage building with very cute chair related decor. Service is very good and the coffee is still wonderful. I usually order the latte and the foam is very light, almost like a cappuccino. They have indoor and outdoor tables and it's a good spot to do some people watching outside.

    Amazing Vanilla Latte

The food (coffee) is great. I always get the Vanilla Latte with Oat milk. The service is quick and the ambiance is a traditional coffee house.

Definitely an all-time favorite in Pasadena! This spot is absolutely lovely, nice ambiance and the drink selection is more than you could ask for. I usually stick with a latte hot or iced or a cappuccino, but I recommend anything on the menu. Check it out if you have the chance!

Came here to get some work done on my computer and was SHOCKED when I was told there is no WiFi at this establishment. What kinda coffee shop doesn't have WiFi? They have a beautiful outdoor space but there's no point because I couldn't get work done

I wandered over here on a Saturday morning. They were across from the thrift/vintage and antique shops. Baristas were friendly. I was surprised to see they offer Fosselman's ice cream here! I got an iced latte with oat milk that was pretty good. No complaints there. There isn't much seating on the bottom floor, but there is plenty of seating upstairs. The bathroom is also upstairs and has an open window 0_o. They have lots of outdoor seating. It's a pretty peaceful place to read a book or journal or sketch here. Imagine old flimsy wooden chairs that need new paint jobs. Parking - I found free street parking in a residential area.

We arrived just after they opened at 7am and were quite literally the first customers of the day. Thanks for opening your doors to us! This place is such a unique blend: part hip-hop vinyl shop, part artsy cafe, and all-around good vibes. The music selection is top notch, and I loved browsing the cute merch and randomly awesome stationery items. Service was super friendly. My husband had a great conversation with one of the guys behind the counter about the shop's minimalist decor, and we learned Two Kids has been thriving for 10 years. I hadn't been in since right around the pandemic, so it was heartwarming to see they made it through and are still flourishing. The espresso was absolutely luscious, and as a bonus, we got the prettiest latte art with hearts in our drinks, big love for that! Really wish I had more time to hang out on the comfy couches in the middle of the shop and soak in some vinyl tunes. Can't wait to come back and spend a morning here the right way, highly recommended!

The popcorn chicken, fried tofu, and orange green tea are what I usually order. They make those very consistently so you know what to expect. It gets busy here when school kids are hanging out but if you are outside of those windows, it doesn't take too long. Service ranges from friendly to standard, so no complaints there. The one issue I have with them is they show a loyalty program in terms of entering your phone number -- if you order online as well as the register. But I've never gotten any points. I once asked the owner about it and he claimed that they do in fact give out items, and said he would check on it that night when I told him the situation. But he never actually asked my name and info, and I've still never received any points since, despite having ordered here about twice a week for the past several weeks. It's not a deal breaker but it's strange.

I absolutely loved sitting outside and having fresh air with a great view. You are given a number at the counter, and your food is brought out to your table. Found seating outside but moved some plates ourselves from one table to another to find shade for us the kiddo. Grabbed a high chair and got seating set up. A few folks were setting up to play music out on the patio. We ordered inside as expected, thankfully the line wasn't too bad at that time so it went smoothly, though the prices are still higher than the average mom/pop sandwich place (but we anticipated this). We waited a bit for food while the patio band played. Ambience was pretty nice. Our friend's sandwich came out first and about 5 minutes later our food came. However, the Arnold Palmer we ordered didn't arrive with the food so we asked if they'd come back to bring it, and we were told they'd be right back. We waited probably another 5 minutes but drink still didn't come so I went inside to ask about it and saw the drink sitting on the back counter. So I asked staff if I could pick up the drink and they handed it over. Our friend's sandwich (the Jester) looked pretty filling while wife and I ordered/shared the Crown Jewel with cheese and mayo on the side. The Crown Jewel was pretty meh overall. Wasn't as stacked as the Jester and the bread fell apart as I ate it, despite the mayo on the side. At the end of eating someone came by to grab our order numbers and ask how things went. I commented on the wait for the drink and was told they couldn't find us, which sounded strange because they found us when bringing the sandwich and we still had our order number. But she said we could get a free refill. Since I wanted to take advantage of the refill I went inside to inquire but the order counter had gotten extremely busy. So I asked one of the bus/wait staff outside if they could grab my refill. He directed me inside and he commented how busy they were but I said I didn't want to wait in the huge line simply for a refill, so he offered to meet me inside to get the refill. Eventually I did receive the refill and we left. Overall, for the price of the food I felt the service was very average bordering on subpar, and the food was meh for the price. I don't blame the staff as they all seemed to be working very hard, but perhaps they were understaffed which would be more of a management issue. We basically bussed a couple tables on our own and waited what eventually amounted to 20-25 minutes for an ice tea/lemonade. I pre-tipped when I bought the food, which I kind of regretted but also felt bad that the employees were understaffed so I likely would have left a tip anyways. I don't plan to go back anytime soon. Wish the food and service were better

Beyond its innovative drinks, the café offers an impressive lineup of freshly baked pastries made in-house, ensuring there's something to suit every palate. From the moment our order arrived, the vibrant presentation left us even more excited to dig in. **Banana Cream Matcha: 4/5** The Banana Cream Matcha reimagined the classic matcha latte with a decadent twist. Topped with a luscious layer of banana-infused foam and crunchy almond toffee, it offered a satisfying textural contrast, while the housemade banana purée, featuring chunks of real banana, delivered a fresh, naturally sweet flavor. The latte was exceptionally smooth and creamy, but it leaned a bit too milky, causing the matcha's earthy notes to become fairly subdued. It was also slightly sweeter than my preference, making it feel more like a dessert-inspired matcha than a true matcha-forward latte. **Pistachio Croissant: 5/5** This was easily the highlight of our order. The croissant featured an incredibly flaky, crispy exterior that gave way to a light, airy interior with beautiful buttery layers. It was generously filled with a rich, nutty cream that accentuated the pistachio's deep, roasted flavor while maintaining just the right amount of sweetness. Finished with a white chocolate pistachio drizzle and a delicate dusting of powdered sugar, every bite was indulgent yet perfectly balanced. Overall, Danbi Coffee shows plenty of promise through its specialty drinks and well-executed pastries. While I'd love to see a bolder matcha presence in their lattes, the exceptional pistachio croissant alone gives me every reason to return and explore the rest of their menu.
