The coffee could have been a bit stronger! But everything else was so dreamy! I love the collage theme. It's also such a small little place, so cozy! I like that it adds to the grab and go vibe. It creates a more relaxed vibe, by having only the baristas and the person ordering in the shop. The baristas were friendly and prompt. S/o to the Highland Coffee Passport! Parking was a tad difficult, but I was able to find a residential spot about half a mile out.
When you see the ceramic tiles on the exterior walls, you're there! Not too much sitting so I'd recommend this for a pick up and go if you're in the neighborhood. It looked like a lot of folks that live in the area order from here. While I was in line, I heard a few were regulars. I ordered an iced mocha and it was really good. The chocolate was rich and the coffee was good too. I honestly thought about this mocha the next day. I'll definitely swing by again when I'm in Highland Park.
After my yoga class, I walked down the block for an iced latte. The coffee was solid, great flavor, and just the right amount of cinnamon sprinkled in at my request. The vibe of this place is fun and gritty. Not very often you go to get coffee and they're playing vintage metal, I dig it! I sat outside behind the shop in a little hidden courtyard. It was so cute down a pathway and into a nook with a couple of olive trees and tables. Very peaceful.
Bruh. The iced chai latte with oat milk. Addicting. Service was friendly, the guys (baristas) had great energy and everyone felt genuinely happy to be there. They could have been acting, and if they were; they sure fooled me. Their uplifting energy was infectious after my yoga class. I'll absolutely be back not just for their amazing chai but because of the vibes. It's a small coffee shop, no where to sit inside, and it's located pretty close next door to Highland Park Yoga. They're quick and efficient. I love trying new spots, and collage coffee is a great addition to the community.

Collage Coffee has a simple, yet nicely curated offering of coffee and teas with a shot of charming calm. I chose their cold brew, which had the right amount of zing to keep me zagging through my day, along with a chocolate chip cookie on the side that was sweet and chewy. It was just the late afternoon pick-me-up I needed. Speaking of York Blvd., word on the street is that Bub & Grandma's Pizza shop across the street is opening very soon. And you'll be smelling the fresh wafts of Collage Coffee's brew in the late afternoon and evening breeze. So if you want genuine coffee served by locals who grew up in the area, let the welcoming baristas take your order. You can even take a dip into the back garden area where the vintage Elsa Cakes & Bakery sign still hangs proudly above (IFYKYK).

I ordered an iced dirty chai with oat milk, which was too sweet. The sweetness overpowered the chai and espresso flavors. It cost around $9 The cafe is tiny, has no seats inside, and can comfortably fit five people. Seats are available right up front, built around a tree. If you're looking for a cafe to lounge or work at, there might be a better coffee shop. It is more of a run-in and out cafe. Parking was more accessible around these parts than in the rest of Los Angeles County.
We came across this coffee shop while waiting for Joy next-door to open up at noon. There was a steady line outside the store, so we decided to give it a shot. The line moved quickly and the interior is very small. There's a door to enter place your order, and then another door to exit. They do have an exterior outdoor seating area and a couple of seating areas in the front as well but overall minimal amount of seating. The venue itself is also very simple. Not a lot of crazy flavors for their lattes, Just vanilla and mocha I believe. Their lattes are straight to the point and very delicious. The espresso they use is high-quality and I would definitely recommend giving them a try when you need some caffeine and you're in the area.

Collage Coffee (est 2017) is a cute little coffee shop situated along York blvd on Latitude 34.1148° N and Longitude -118.1923° W. See if you know your 5th grade Geo class. lol. There are very few good coffee establishments in HP and ER area that serve good coffee, and they're one of them. I came on a warm (80 degree), sunny Wednesday morning to grab a quick Latte on my way to work. This is the only renaming coffee shop that I have not been to in the area. I perused their tiny and modest menu; I ordered a hot Latte x Half n half. It was bloody pretty good-smooth & rich. Similarly, they sell coffee bags for those coffee addicted customers as well as pastries. Female staff was friendly, competent & has a cool right arm tattoo. Their interior space is extremely claustrophobic so you need to step outside after ordering. Moreover, there is a tiny bench underneath the tree for you to chill and a rear alley way patio. They do not have a rear parking lot, however, plethora of street metered parking are available for customers. Atmosphere was relaxing. Interior and exterior consist of collage blue tiles which really stands out. I think the owner Michael S., whose last name is way too long to spell, did good adding a coffee shop in the hood. As I end this pulchritudinous review, I say this...I'm glad I stopped by today. Overall, I enjoyed my coffee drink and chocolate croissant. I will try a cold coffee/tea drink next time. What first brought Collage Coffee to my attention was design: the elaborate tile work that sounds the exterior is striking and a colorful introduction to the cafe. While it's a small space, there is some limited seating in front of the shop. They offer pastries from Cafe Tropical, and you can also buy coffee beans for your home brew. I've only tried their espresso-based drinks, and I thought there were well-made. The cortado I tried recently had a balanced flavor that complemented the nuanced flavors of the coffee. During my visits, it has taken some time to get my drinks ready given the small amount of staff. However, it has never felt like an extraordinarily long wait. read more
My last stop of the day in the area. I stopped by today after getting lunch at a deli nearby. The shop is fairly small but gets a lot of foot traffic. I stood in line for about a minute and ordered an americano. The coffee came out fairly quick, despite the long line of people ordering and waiting. I would definitely come back for the beans here, as the americano I got today was quite good! read more

I was so pleased to discover so many gems in Highland Park! Collage Coffee is the cutest little shop. First things first: this spot is literally tiny, maybe 2 people fit inside comfortably. There are a few tables on side patio and some seating up front, this is more of a take and go situation. I'm not a local so don't quote me but parking seemed fine (LA fine, anyway). I managed to either find free parking in a residential area a short walk away or a cheap parking lot near by. I opted for an iced mocha with oat milk. Not overly sweet or bitter. It was just right! So sad I didn't take a photo of my massive, ooey gooey cinnamon roll. I went by on a later on a Saturday morning, there was a short line and a few pastries were sold out. I want to say it was the owners who took my order. Love to see it! Love this spot's aesthetic! read more

I was at that area for "Donut Friend" then walked by this little coffee shop, the coffee smells good and I also haven't had my coffee yet. I ordered a latte with just a little bit of honey. take out high-quality coffee and tea spot. there's no indoor seating. there's a public bench outside. there's no dedicated parking. i ordered the seasonal maple spice latte. it was sweet but not too sweet, cinnamon-y, and delish. service was straightforward and great! read more

First Time customer. This place came highly recommended. Each time we've been in the area, there's always a line do that should tell you it's worth trying. For the place being super tiny it's a huge hit with the locals. I'm personally not a coffee drinker so that's the reason for the four stars - I ordered tea lol The staff recommended the London Fog that has the smoothest tasting lavender ! I'm a fan, I'll definitely order it again. There was about 4 different tea lattes to choose from. Street parking and lot parking is available. That entire area is very upcoming:trendy Again, Highland Park has definitely changed. read more

This place is worth the trouble of parking. York Blvd has become ever changing ground for small businesses and I'm happy that this one survived the roughest part of the pandemic. I stopped by because it is one of the few coffee shops I haven't tried in Highland Park and it was surprising! First off the shop is VERY small. Enough for two people stand inside comfortably. Don't expect to hangout very long! The aesthetic was very bright and playful. The was full of coffee and espresso beans was a very cool touch. I spoke with who I assume was the owner and he was very friendly made some great suggestions when I was looking for something to beat the heat. I ultimately got a classic iced vanilla latte and it did not disappoint. Their espresso beans really come through and it felt like I was holding onto that drink for an hour. I just wanted to savor it. Parking is always a hassle around here, but when you're wandering around, make this a stop to refuel for the day! read more

Such a happy, welcoming vibe! I ordered the cafe latte - it tastes as good as the lovely aroma of it & absolutely happy with my experience here. There's no seating here so it's for take outs. The neighbourhood has a couple of small stores and food trucks, recommend taking a walk around the street on a sunny day. read more
I paid $7.39 for this cup of store bought turmeric chai concentrate from a carton, which was poured over ice and handed to me. I could of done that myself, just like a cup of coffee I could gladly brew it in the comfort of my home. However, part of the purpose of me walking to a coffee shop is to enjoy the labor and ingredients that I do not have. Price and product are ridiculous. I highly recommend Café Cafe mobile coffee in Boyle Heights, they have a delicious turmeric latte made from scratch for $5. read more

Popped in here in a Sunday afternoon for a caffeine fix and it was really good! My son had a London fog and I had an Oatmilk latte - both were really tasty! The guy working counter was super nice too. It's a tiny spot with no indoor seating, but there is a bench outside, beneath a tree so you can get a bit of shade. There is also a small courtyard around the corner that you can hang out in, too. Very cozy and welcoming place! I'll definitely be back when I can hang out a bit. read more
