I fondly remember being one of the first customers when this place opened years ago. It's been a few years since my last visit, but I'm glad to see it's still alive and thriving. Now that I'm back locally, I was able to swing by again and was pleasantly surprised that it's still so well-maintained. The decor remains charming, artistic, and hip. There are plenty of celeste-colored chairs, several tables, and outlets, which makes it a great place to study or socialize. The A/C is also a huge plus. The menu appears relatively unchanged. The drinks are pretty good and not overly sweet, and there's also a fairly decent selection of pastries. We met Annie the owner who is so kind!! The oatmeal is really yummy and they even added steamed milk into it for me :) The vanilla latte was good but nothing special I didn't finish it all and wouldn't get it again. The cold brew was actually surprisingly good and in a way sweeter than the latte so I would get only 1 pump of vanilla instead of 2. The yuzu was good!! Adding to my map list of great coffee finds -- I FOUND it in Eagle Rock. Clearly this spot is a locals must as it was teeming with parents after morning drop off. The space has ample places to sit inside but when there's a line it can feel tight. Nonetheless, the drinks experience was well worth the trip! Found's version of a latte was smooth with a nice boost for the work day. And, their herbal on ice hit the spot for later in this summer heatwave. This place is busy and parking can be a little tough.  As soon as you walk in, you are warmly greeted.  It gets busy, but the line moves fast.  They had so many items to purchase besides coffee. It was hard to focus.  They had cute mugs, a variety of coffees, and so much more.    As soon as it was my turn to order,  Annie (owner) was super friendly and took the time to help me choose pastries to eat and coffee beans to take back home to my parents.  Annie explained how she loves doing coffee collabs and she's owned and operated this place for 10 years.  The way she explains products and talks to customers, you can just tell by the vibe that she loves what she does.        I ordered: 1.  Iced ceramonial matcha latte:  This was a nice comforting drink.  It wasn't overly strong, matcha, and you can taste the hint of honey.  The perfect drink while I stand in line outside for Gooey Center Cinnamon rolls. 2.  Nutella croissant:  Messy delightful treat, with nutella throughout 3.  Strawberries and cream:  I wasn't a fan of this one.   It was a little too tart for me.   I didn't get much sweetness from the cream. 4.  Mini donut holes w/ vanilla cream filling:  This would have been tasty without the filling.  It tasted like cream cheese and kind of threw the flavor off     They had a cool colab going on with Gooey Center, cinnamon rolls, and Hap's Burgers.   You can get coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and cinnamon rolls in one place.   It's like a one-stop shop.   It's super convenient for the shopper like me.   I was able to try all 3 places while waiting for Gooey  Center to set up and open up.     Highly recommend coming by and checking out.  Annie is super nice.   She made me feel welcome and even introduced me to some of her customers. She had shown me where to line up for Gooey Center and spoke of Hap's Burgers.  Hap's burger is there on Wednesday and Saturday.  Gooey Center pops up there on Saturdays sometimes.  You'll have to check the website and see where they are for the week. read more

So I'm walking down Colorado in Eagle Rock, literally in the middle of nowhere, craving some caffeine and not seeing a single coffee shop in sight. Then boom. I spot this cute little spot called Found Coffee (how perfect is that?). It's small, cozy, and gives total neighborhood vibes. You can tell the locals pull up here on the regular everybody's friendly, the energy feels like community, not just a "grab your cup and go" type of place. Now, the coffee? Smooth, bold, and way more flavor than your basic chain. Definitely high-quality without feeling pretentious. It's not a big flashy café, but honestly, that's the charm. It's the kind of place you actually want to sip your coffee, people-watch a little, and feel like you're part of the block. My fav is the bourbon latte! When arriving to this coffee shop you will find a small parking lot to park in. Inside there is a good number of seats to relax and indulge in some coffee! The service was good, nothing negative to say! We ordered the iced mocha, the flat white, a butter croissant and a chocolate chip cookie with nuts. First of all, we were not a fan of either coffee. It was super strong and bitter and we just did not care for the taste at all. The cookie was super salty, it would have been perfect without the sea salt. The butter croissant was really good. This place was unfortunately not on our top list of coffee shops. But maybe we will go back to order something different and see how we like it and give an update here! read more

The Ambience is fast paced but there are seats and tables available. Love the aesthetic flowers, they add a nice touch . The coffee though ... one of the better coffees I've had the pleasure of enjoying in Los Angeles, you can taste the pride in their beans . Was in the area after a yoga session and didn't disappoint my little detour to try out their special coffee. They made their vanilla syrup in the house, so it doesn't taste artificial. I was pretty worried on my first sip that it's not sweet enough, but I prefer this subtleness over overly sweet artificial vanilla syrup! The coffee is so strong that I couldn't take a nap on that day lol. The staff are super super nice! I will come back if I'm in the area. It was pretty crowded when I came in, but there was no line. We found Found Coffee on our way into LA recently. As you can see from my pics, this is a very simple and straight-forward boutique coffee shop. Their service was quick and personal. As you can see in my pic, they are a dog friendly and welcoming establishment. We shared a latte and scone. While the latte was good, the latte art was exceptional. This art piece stayed for the entire drink - a nice visual. The scone was fairly good. It has a nice dense, earthiness which complimented the lightness of our latte. Found Coffee fell completely flat. I ordered their Matcha and Americano. Their matcha latte with oat milk tasted watered down. I could barely detect any of the earthy, robust flavor. Their Americano was weak and underwhelming, lacking the punch. read more

So I used to come here regularly about six years ago when my daughter went to a homeschool support program across the street essentially second grade age. I came here yesterday after six years and Ani the owner still remembered me and remembered my daughter. I just came in this morning and not only did she remember my name she remembered my drink. I love business owners that do this and take pride in their patrons. I thought I'd written them a nice favorable review back then but I should definitely give them an update and a shout out. I'm on such a coffee kick and I'm so impressed by our city and the number of excellent coffee shops around if you ever find yourself in Eagle rock you have found the right place. Cortado or cappuccino would be my go to here. And if I still ate pastries, I would eat theirs. I still remember back when I was coming here before seeing groups of television and movie writers having a meeting sitting here and doing business. I have to say, this place really nails the whole aesthetic thing. From the inside to the outside, it's a total vibe. Arrived at about 10AM on a Saturday and initially there wasn't much of a wait, but it did start to build up shortly after. My boyfriend went for the cold brew, and I opted for the bourbon vanilla latte since the vanilla syrup is made in-house. The cold brew? Solid. Refreshing, smooth, basically everything you'd hope for in a good cold brew. My vanilla latte, on the other hand, was... fine. The staff did warn me it wasn't super sweet, which I appreciate (I'm not trying to sip on sugar milk here), but there was a lot of milk, and it kind of drowned out the espresso. I like a little more punch to my coffee, you know? I was hoping to try their coffee cake, but unfortunately, it was unavailable since it's a seasonal item. Fingers crossed for next time! The worst thing about this place is their to-go cups; they're fine for espresso drinks with milk (or substitute), but the seal is not strong enough for drip coffee. You will drip coffee onto your clothing, and even if it's in your cup holder, and movement will have you wiping up coffee from your car. PLEASE GET NEW CUPS! Literally everything else is great about this place; the staff are friendly and helpful, the coffee is good, great popups in the parking lot. It's my go-to coffee shop to buy a cup or bag of coffee. I don't understand the high reviews... are they compensated? Or maybe I ordered the wrong drink? I love frequenting coffee shops and discovered that Found Coffee was on the way home and gave it a visit. I ordered a Dirty Jai, and I have to admit it was not what I expected. It looked quite appealing with ice layering a gradient of clear and brown. Upon tasting it though, it left much to be desired. I didn't taste much coffee (the cashier told me they added espresso in this drink), and overall the drink tasted like watered down chai tea. There wasn't quite any hints of coffee or espresso, and what irked me more was that I hadn't even ordered my drink half sweet (which I usually do)... The location itself seems like a nice place to work - albeit a little noisy from background music and coffee machines - but by no means does it make up for this $6 cup of bland and tasteless chai flavored water. read more

Found is my local coffee shop that I frequented. I love the vibe, the people and the people that show up for this little community. For as long as they've been in business, their coffee menu has remained the same with perhaps just the addition of the dirty jai. I get that the owner doesn't want to partake in the fad of einspanners or korean cafe culture, but please give this community something new?! I've been taking the trips to K town, SGV and Pasadena to get fun coffee and I would honestly prefer to support the 90041 businesses but at the same time, I do want something different. The single origin cold brew is divine! So smooth and flavorful. They should put some left over coffee grounds in this plant and water it though, it was kind of sad to see. PARKING: There is a front lot, but it was full when I arrived at 9:30am on a weekday. However, there's plenty of street parking for free. AMBIANCE: It's cute and spacious, with multiple seating options. We had no problem getting a small table for the two of us. The place was very busy when I arrived - there was a line of 4-5 people when I ordered, and it seemed more people were coming in and out as we sat and chatted. The barista was also very friendly, which I appreciated on such a busy morning. COFFEE: I had a latte with oat milk, which I found lovely. It seemed like they have an extensive tea and brew selection as well. You have the option of getting your coffee in a paper to-go cup or a mug. This place should be called Found Children. It was loaded with little ones today and even a few dogs, so clearly it's a popular family neighborhood coffee shop. I give them an extra star for having pop-ups here- had a good donut from Archie's and breakfast sandwich from whatever was outside.... The reason I am writing though is the iced chai. I know this is a coffee place, but in the same way I think it's important for craft breweries to have something on offer for the sober people in the group, I think there have to be a few good classics for the non-coffee drinkers to drink when with their coffee friends. It has happened too often to me (sorry Found, this is the last straw for me) that I try a new place and come across milk being passed off as chai. I've thought to myself before that I was going to start calling it out, and now I finally am. I do this not to torpedo your overall rating average, but to hopefully spur you to do better, and to give a warning as well to the other chai drinkers that this might not be the place for you until they change what they're doing. I know there is a LOT of room for interpretation with chai, but for an old-timer with me, I am not so set in my ways that I can't accommodate a sweeter chai vs a spicier chai, but the only real way to go wrong is for the drink to not taste like chai at all. It's a bit of a clue right off the bat when I am handed over something the color of milk. It should have a nice beige color throughout and taste of tea and spices. How sweet it is can vary, although it would be nice if shops started to customize that more and ask how sweet to make it. Perhaps there is a vast difference between their hot chai and their iced, I'm not sure, all I know is that with all the coffee shop options in this city, I have no reason to go back here anytime soon.
