Who doesn't love ube??! This location is very lively where it feels like it is the first location. They seem to have more services like catering specials for this location, location specific specials and they want you to hang out here. The food and drinks are still the same from what I am used to which is nice to know. Plenty of free parking in the lot.

Ordered a matcha from here and the crack cheesecake. The matcha was a tad sweet for my taste but I had lowered the amount. The music was pretty good and they played hiphop. The staff were really friendly and helped me decide on which dessert to get. The crack cheesecake wasn't very sweet and it had great flavor. The workers also checked on how the drink was so I appreciated that.

Went for the halo halo. One upside down halo halo and one mais. I've had the upside down one at the West Covina location. Love how it's mostly Ube ice cream, hence the upside down! The Mais want not corny at all, no pun intended. It was just creamed corn at the bottom. No other jellies. Maybe if they put corn ice cream? Pretty good place to chill out. Talk over drinks and desserts. Plenty of parking! Service was service, nothing out of the ordinary.

I've been wanting to go to Cafe 86 for a while and when I finally went, it did not disappoint! I love the pastries they offer. I couldn't try everything, but the ones I've tried are so good. I love that everything is filipino-based dessert and I love that this place is not afraid to display its filipino roots. I genuinely believe that this place also provides a good place to study because when I went, there were a lot of people working or studying. The vibes and ambiance gives study cafe! You already know the workers are all very friendly too!!

Fun place to grab desserts and drinks! Cafe 86 does Filipino inspired drinks and desserts. They also have a few sandwiches on the menu: grilled cheese, chicken pesto, pastrami. Cafe 86 is a family owned chain and am happy that they opened up a store in Glendale and Eagle Rock, Ca. This location in Eagle Rock shares a parking lot with Sprouts Market and other nearby businesses. I never had issues with parking here. Good location. Service is very friendly and helpful.

I LOVE LOVE cafe 86. Psyched that the eagle rock one is open! Recently met the new owners Elaine and Andrew, who are super friendly and sweet. They are so excited to own this awesome shop. Why wouldn't they? Literally everything in there is so good. My top faves: ube truffle, mais con yelo bar, the best halo halo in town (upside down version), and the ube cheesecake. All of their shakes are also ridiculously rich and delicious. The inside is humble and clean. They always play good background music too. I also love now that they have a rewards/points system going for their loyal customers. I also really love the ample free parking in that plaza. We'll be seeing you guys soon! My cravings need to be satisfied every week

Servers are super friendly! They welcome you as soon as you enter their branch. Got our halo-halo and looked exactly in the picture which is definitely not a disappointment. Love their ube halo-halo upside down, but wanted to try the mais con yelo (translated as corn with ice) which is okay. I still prefer the ube. Next time I come back, I'm reverting to the upside down ube halo-halo.

Great food, service, and ambiance!!! The ube leche flan is the best-- the richness and flavorfulness of both the flan and ube will really satisfy your cravings for a great dessert! Plus the ambience is really cool and uplifting, very timely for halloween. Also, we met the owners, Elaine and Andrew who were so warm and friendly.

LOVE this franchise! Their halo halo is the best out there. Whenever we are near one, we make sure we come to visit. Their halo halo is enough to share, good luck trying to finish it on your own. It is delicious, but huge. This location has plenty of extra treats to order from. Definitely recommend

Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 Stumbled across this place based off of reviews and happy that I did because I ordered a cookie butter latte which was so perfect. Cookie butter lattes are usually so super sweet but the flavors were perfectly incorporated together. And I got to try the strawberry cheesecake that they had as a Mother's Day treat which so delicious. Definitely coming back here also whoever is into Ube this is ur place they have ube overload of everything:

Cafe 86 (est 2014) is a cute lil coffee, tea and smoothie cafe shop in Eagle Rock. It's located in a large plaza on Fair Park ave. They have other franchise stores in CA and Nevada. Their cafe menu is compendious w/c offers breadth of coffee, milk teas, smoothie and halo-halo. Similarly, they offer pastries and sandwiches. Interior decor was aesthetic in a spacious layout. It has plenty of tables and chairs. Moreover, it's naturally well lit thanks to their large north windows. It was my first time visiting this cafe, and ordered a hibiscus calamansi tea and an ube flan cupcake. Drink was refreshing and its not too sweet in flavor. Similarly, the cupcake was soft and moist with a hint of ube. Staff were cordial and affable. Prices were reasonable and reflects the market value of goods/services. Atmosphere was relaxing with a strong a/c and good music. Parking was easy given its in a large plaza. Collectively, it's a nice cafe and I had a splendid experience. Overall, I recommend this cafe.

Tried the upside down halo halo, halo halo bread pudding, and Ube cookie. Upside down halo halo: 4/5 -- this was my fav out of the three. It wasn't too sweet and had a good mix of textures with the jelly, vanilla ice cream, and flan mixed in. The regular size is pretty big though so I'd probably get the mini next time Halo halo bread pudding: 2/5 -- they heat it up for you which is nice but the bread pudding just tasted overwhelmingly of banana bread and had a stodgy texture that I didn't care for. The Ube ice cream on top was the saving grace. Ube cookie: 3/5 -- decent, but for $4.25 it wasn't worth it imo

Enjoyed the Upside Down Halo Halo. The ding are is comfortable. The Ube ice cream is tasty.

The entranceway is stunning - marbled floors, a gold staircase, and a gorgeous cascading chandelier. There is a side room that is also lovely and a lounge area upstairs. Monica was our server and she was an absolute delight. (Jordan was also darling.) Our order consisted of Pistachio Toast, Croissant with butter & jam, Honey Cake, "Rafi" Coffee, Chai Latte, Iced Tea, and a glass of Prosecco. The Pistachio Toast was made with charcoal bread topped with a lightly sweetened pistachio spread and fresh strawberries & blueberries. It was tasty. The Honey Cake was like a crepe cake. It was good and not overly sweet. The Prosecco was crisp, light, & refreshing. Before we left, we had a nice chat with the owner, Tony. My first attempt at their Grove location didn't work out, so I was pleasantly surprised that the wait this time wasn't too bad. It was probably because it was Coachella weekend. The banana flavor tasted natural rather than artificial, and the matcha added a nice layer of depth that balanced everything well. It was a unique combination that really worked. The main reason I'd take off a star is the wait time--it still felt a bit long for what it was. I can only imagine how busy it gets on a typical weekend. The staff seemed a little tired, which is understandable given how popular the place is, but overall the experience was still positive. I enjoyed my drink and would definitely come back especially if the line is as manageable as it was this time. I'm not sure I'd wait through a much longer line for it to be honest. Until next time.

So anyways Heytea was completely off my radar because I figured I wasn't their target audience (which is fair) HOWEVERRR this new guava drink has me in a chokehold!! It's not thick and chunky like their other stuff. And it's actually good?? I hate that it's good because I went from a Heytea hater to a Heytea frequenter. It's floral, fragrant and it's a perfect mix of guava and milk/cream. Never would I have thought to pair guava and dairy together BUT IT WORKS SOMEHOW. Think strawberries and cream... but guava. The jasmine tea isn't prominent but it's there as a base layer and definitely smells soooo good. The guava taste is strong and I don't know what magic they put in there but it's not artificial and gross. The cream on top is nice too! I tend to drink from the lid the first and just enjoy the cream and then afterwards I'll mix it in with the drink. It's $8 which is pricey.... But I hate that I like it. I've gotten it like 5 times this month alone. They ran out of stickers but the drink is still just as good!
