Winter Melon Milk Tea. Its on the sweet side and very good. 10/10
    Sergio D.

The Boba Milk Tea are the best. The Winter Melon Milk Tea is my favorite. The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. I recommend this location to everyone I know so please check them out soon. Very casual feel. Nice music and work can be done on my laptop or tablet with ease. Very friendly environment. Came here randomly to work on my laptop and that they're opening late. They even had a flyer that said "laptop friendly" and it had the wifi password on it. I liked that there was a restroom and that it was clean, however, the toilet didn't flush well. I was disappointed to see that even though this place is "laptop friendly" , all the outlets are blocked out so you can't use them. WiFi was super slow. I ordered the matcha latte. I'm grateful that the barista double checked for me that the matcha powder didn't contain milk powder because I'm allergic to dairy. Another disappointment is that the substitute milk, they charge an additional 95 cents. It's like getting punished for having allergies. Drink was okay. They also serve snacks here including seasoned fries for $5.95 (plain, BBQ, spicy BBQ, cheddar cheese, and sour cream and onion flavors), bao (bbq beef, salted yolk, cheese steak) for $2.95, popcorn chicken ( plain, mild, spicy) I could not see the price because it's sold out, and $3.50 for a ham & Brie croissant . There was a lot of foot traffic and it's really loud in there. It's a great spot for business and to hangout, but not a good spot if you need to get work done or study. They take cash and credit card. I found the yakult drinks interesting. Most likely their specialty. Street and metered parking only. Watch for street signs. It's near to many restaurants, and other stores.

Clean nice ambiance. Fair prices. Delicious warm and soft boba balls. The tea was good too. Overall a very solid boba shop. Would come back

I love Ding Tea. The best boba in town, but my drink was half ice and this was 30 min after I waited for my ice to melt.

I love Ding Tea. Employees are always nice, but my drink was literally almost all ice... I asked for a large so I can have more tea not ice. This was 20 after I waited for my ice to melt.

The popcorn chicken was super delicious, the spice was welly incorporated in the chicken. The drinks were amazing. I got the honey milk tea. The service was fast and the staff were very nice. The place looked great and clean. We played a few games before leaving the place and overall it was a nice experience!

Jasmine milk tea and lychee yakult

Ding Tea has always been a favorite boba spot and they never fail to hit my after meal cravings! I personally get the jasmine green milk tea with sea salt foam and golden boba. It has a good balance between milky and refreshing. I also sometimes get the lychee yakult if I'm more on the yogurt craving. I especially appreciate the eagle rock location as the staff were very fast and the young lady taking my order was super sweet and nice. This location has a few tables available with some board games to play. There is street parking available or neighborhood parking with a little bit of a short and refreshing walk. Location is small like your average boba shop and bathrooms are available.

I've frequented a couple of other boba shops nearby, but Ding Tea has got to be one of my favorite places when I'm craving my usual Jasmine Milk Tea. Parking here can be challenging depending on the time of day you're going. There is a mix of metered parking as well as free street parking. Metered parking takes coin/card. The location itself is always clean, multiple tables inside and some seats outdoor as well. I've never had any issues with service here. There is a good amount of drinks to choose from - smoothies, lattes, coffee, juices and milk substitutions are available as well. My go to drink: Jasmine Milk Tea w/ Herbal Grass Jelly. (Highly recommend the jelly if you're not a fan of the chewy boba) Enjoy!

Staff is quick to take and make your order. Nice place to catch up or study as it is a bit quiet. They have many places to sit and enjoy your beverage. Almond Milk Tea Hot- 10/10 Nice alternative to a hot coffee. Mango Milk Tea- 9/10 Nice flavor and pairs well with coconut lychee jelly. Drinks can get a bit sweet, I recommend getting your drink 50% sweet.

We parked on the streets a few blocks away and walked towards this cafe. The exterior was green with a very nice sign. When walking inside, you'll notice all the patrons working on the computers or hanging out with a friend. Towards the left side, you'll see the merchandise and the register where you'll order your coffee and food. The coffee bar was alongside the left side of the perimeter. I can't describe it enough - very studio Ghibli, speakeasy, jazzy, and coffee enthusiast themed. The barista greeted us with a smile and was gentle about it. We ordered their black sesame cortado and their signature cortado. We also ordered their breakfast sandwich with sausage. Their cortado was very strong, but had a great sweetness to it. It was decorated with orange citrus and the other one had black sesame seeds sprinkled across the top. It was quite delicious. Their breakfast sandwich was chef's kiss - it reminded me of a good sandwich my mom made me as a kid. It had a runny yolk, toasted bread, some melted cheese, and tomatoes in it. This place gave me such warm emotions inside and just made it feel like home. I understood why every table and seat had a person in it. If you love coffee as much as I do, this has to be on your to-do list when visiting LA.

Been coming to loop ever since they were at the previous location. The workers are consistently nice, attentive and helpful. The most recent time I came was around 12 noon on a Saturday. Not too busy at all, got our drinks within 10 minutes of ordering. I've had the chocnut latte, espresso tonic, miel cream top, and most recently the espresso loop cortado. I still think about the espresso loop cortado, so much goodness in every sip. Sure the drink itself is "small" but it's packed with flavor. The new location is a lot more cozy than the previous imo. More seating, A/C always blasting and available outlets if you need to get work done for a long time. The ambiance was giving lola's living room with a Ralph Lauren/Aime Leon Dore vibe. If you want a coffee date, this place is a must.

*** Cash not accepted ***…read more It has been a few years since my original visit and it looks like Kumquat Coffee is now known as the coffee shop to get matcha and hojicha lattes. Here are some of the key highlights: * In addition to the 2nd location in Downtown LA and a sister coffee shop Loquat Coffee in Cypress Park, the same owners also opened Fondry Bakery in 2024, a coffee roastery called Quat in Glassell Park in October 2025, and a 2nd Loquat location in Silver Lake in December 2025. * Still no private parking lot and the two public parking lots are still your best bet (5033 Lincoln Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90042 & 1311N N Ave 51, Los Angeles, CA 90042). Otherwise street parking is available. * Still no indoor seating with only few small outdoor chairs and a tiny table. * Our party had the Hojicha Latte (half-sweet $6.50) and Matcha Latte ($6.75). Personally, I strongly discourage anyone from getting the half-sweet option as it made the drink taste a bit watery. The Matcha Latte had full sweetness and it tasted about right, but it was still not as good as some other matcha lattes out there. * No public restroom [Conclusion]: A nice coffee shop to stop by while visiting the boutique shops on York Blvd. Decent matcha drinks, but I still prefer matcha drinks from various cafes in Koreatown if I want something on the next level.
