I have been wanting to stop into this ding tea in Eagle Rock for the longest time . I finally was able to find some street parking and was able to come in and buy Boba for the first time here. I'm not sure if there's more spots hidden elsewhere. But I was able to find a spot right on Colorado. I ended up getting their number one on their top 10 board which was the monster Boba so I ended up getting that. And in a couple of really short moments, my drink was ready to go. The barista made my drink really quickly and I was on my way out shortly after. I was very happy with how efficient and quick will process was. There are a few tables inside and also board games inside that you can enjoy with your friends. Otherwise it is a cool spot to be able to hang out with your friends to get some Boba or some snacks read more

Came here randomly to work on my laptop and that they're opening late. They even had a flyer that said "laptop friendly" and it had the wifi password on it. I liked that there was a restroom and that it was clean, however, the toilet didn't flush well. I was disappointed to see that even though this place is "laptop friendly" , all the outlets are blocked out so you can't use them. WiFi was super slow. I ordered the matcha latte. I'm grateful that the barista double checked for me that the matcha powder didn't contain milk powder because I'm allergic to dairy. Another disappointment is that the substitute milk, they charge an additional 95 cents. It's like getting punished for having allergies. Drink was okay. They also serve snacks here including seasoned fries for $5.95 (plain, BBQ, spicy BBQ, cheddar cheese, and sour cream and onion flavors), bao (bbq beef, salted yolk, cheese steak) for $2.95, popcorn chicken ( plain, mild, spicy) I could not see the price because it's sold out, and $3.50 for a ham & Brie croissant . There was a lot of foot traffic and it's really loud in there. It's a great spot for business and to hangout, but not a good spot if you need to get work done or study. They take cash and credit card. I found the yakult drinks interesting. Most likely their specialty. Street and metered parking only. Watch for street signs. Ding Tea is one of my favorites! My assistant introduced me, and I've been hooked ever since. I always order the Winter Melon Milk Tea with golden boba, and it never disappoints. It's so creamy! One of my daughters gets the Lychee Yakult with crystal boba, and the other gets sour cream and onion fries. It's a great place for an after school snack! They give students a 10% discount on weekdays with a school ID. The service is always good. Weekdays after school can get a little busy, but they pump out the drinks so it's never a problem. It has a good balance between milky and refreshing. I also sometimes get the lychee yakult if I'm more on the yogurt craving. I have been here a few times and I want to start by saying the employees here were really great. They were friendly, helpful, and my drink came out tasting really good. The staff definitely made the experience positive. That said, while I was in the store I did see a roach. I know pests can happen anywhere, but in food service even seeing one usually means there's more than just that one, and it's something that needs to be addressed seriously by management. I want to be clear that this isn't a reflection on the employees working there. they were doing a great job! but pest control and sanitation are ultimately management's responsibility. I've frequented a couple of other boba shops nearby, but Ding Tea has got to be one of my favorite places when I'm craving my usual Jasmine Milk Tea. Parking here can be challenging depending on the time of day you're going. There is a mix of metered parking as well as free street parking. Metered parking takes coin/card. The location itself is always clean, multiple tables inside and some seats outdoor as well. I've never had any issues with service here. There is a good amount of drinks to choose from - smoothies, lattes, coffee, juices and milk substitutions are available as well. My go to drink: Jasmine Milk Tea w/ Herbal Grass Jelly. Their service and tea quality were terrible today. I went there with my husband for the first time, and I will never come back. Overall, all the milk teas taste very watered down so don't expect super high quality tea. The boba itself is pretty consistent, I will give Ding Tea their flowers here. I don't typically come to this location, but was in the area. It was a Saturday night around 8pm. We were greeted immediately upon entering, which was nice as I do not recall being greeted like that in other Ding Tea locations. Food: - Placed our order and it wasn't too long until we were able to get our order. I had the green tea Yakult and I enjoyed it. My partner doesn't like the taste of Yakult, but thought the drink was pretty good. So that should say a lot! She ordered the peach green tea, less sweet and it's best she's had in all the Ding Tea locations we've visited. Ambiance: - I liked all the Halloween decorations in the store. There are two tables and side tables for seating, so I can imagine coming here to study and do some work. They do have some board games for those who come in groups and hang around. There is only street parking from what I can tell, but coming here late at night I didn't have any issue finding parking. I've never had them before so I was grateful they had a top 10 list right by the door. Many of the items sound good, but I finally settled on their number 1 - Monster Boba. Honestly, it wasn't a terrible drink. It wasn't the greatest drink either. The boba wasn't the normal color, but they were chewy and the drink tasted like 90% milk. Would I get it again? Another time we went, I got a Strawberry slush ($4.25) with lychee pop boba ($0.50). This was really good. I loved the strawberry flavor and the slushiness. First review of the new year and I need to start off strong. I really love the friendly staff at this location. My goal this year is to be more sustainable and Ding Tea Eagle Rock helped me start off my year strong by filling my reusable bottle with the tea I bought. This is the first time a tea shop has accepted my reusable bottle so I was super excited. I've been to this location several times and I love their Mango Yakult, Hokkaido Oolong Milk Tea, and Monster Tea. If you want a true milk tea, I'm not sure this place is what you'd expect. Their Hokkaido Oolong tastes more like a hazelnut caramel coffee that's doused in sugar. But I love sugar, so it's perfect for me. Their drinks can be really sweet so sometimes I'll get 75% sugar. The shop doesn't have any indoor seating at this time, but there are a few tables outside to sit and enjoy your drinks. Ding Tea is one of my favorite boba places to visit because of their golden boba. It was my first visit to this location and I had to get my usual Signature Milk Tea with golden boba. Since they are new to Eagle Rock they were quite busy, but orders still came out at a reasonable time. My drink was okay. It was a little watered down. I like this location because it's one of the few places in this neighborhood open late at night. I came here with my girlfriend and we got the Hokkaido oolong milk tea and the Kiwi Aloe Vera. I really enjoy fruity desserts so the Kiwi drink really hit the spot for me. The aloe vera topping is also a healthier alternative to boba, which is a plus. The Hokkaido drink was just average for me. It tasted more like a really sweet caramel milk tea, which was fine since I have a sweet tooth, but a small part of me felt mislead. I'm here for the soft opening. My friends and I have been waiting for so long for Ding Tea to come to Eagle Rock. We have frequented Ding Tea in other locations and drove for it because it was worth the drive. Now our journey has shortened! This week they are soft opening with limited options but they will be fully operating by March 27, 2021. Their hours until the 27th are 11am-8pm and the after the 27th it will be 11am-9pm. The acoustics are not great so it's really hard to hear through the masks and the sneeze guard and the blending and loud patrons. The employees can use a mask or maybe put some sound absorbing things up in the wall. This location always had that problem with other businesses and the added elements of covid doesn't help. Word to the wise: adjust sugar level because the default is very sweet. read more
