My partner and I stopped by B&B for a late lunch. We'd seen their Philly on social and decided we needed to try it out since we're always in the area and it could become a staple. We ordered the Philly and Pastrami to split and share. We dined in which was among a few small tables situated between the shelves of well-lit and visually clean bottles of liquor. Service was friendly but nothing memorable. After about 10 minutes, both sandwiches were brought to our table. They were hot and came on toasted rolls. Not really sure what bread specifically but seemed a bit like French rolls. Crunch crusts with soft middles which helped to cradle the fillings and absorb the delicious meat juices. The pastrami was great and not overly salty. It had a great zing from the crunchy pickles and mustard. The Philly was nice and gooey. The beef had great texture and was dripping with flavor (literally). Both were very good but I personally liked the pastrami better. If you like meat though, neither will disappoint. We will be back to try the other sandwiches. The only down side to our visit was buying sodas at the store. Their prices weren't listed and in my head, I expected them to be $3 or so. The Mexican Coke and small bottle of lemonade were each $6. $20 for a sandwich isn't cheap, but it price didn't make me gag--but I almost physically gagged when i saw soda prices ring up. Next time, we'll get our sandwiches to go and get drinks elsewhere.
Wow! I tried the cheeseburger and philly cheesesteak. Both made with wagyu meat and quality ingredients. Fresh ingredients so I didn't feel bloated or like I over ate. The cheeseburger is a bit on the smaller side but the cheesesteak was a good size. The house made spread was delicious. I loved everything!! I would come tomorrow! I highly recommend it to everyone. I want to go back and try their other items. Service was great ! Owners are friendly and definitely take pride in the product they produce. There are a few tables to sit and eat. And there is a restroom. Only street parking available.
Really cool little spot in Glendale. Butcher & Booze has a great selection of rare bottles, but what really caught my attention was the meat counter with some seriously beautiful cuts of beef and steaks. I ordered the Italian Beef Sandwich, and while I was waiting, the owner handed me a bottled water and then brought over a sample of their off menu lobster roll to try. Such a nice, unexpected gesture. The lobster roll was excellent. The Italian Beef was fantastic too. Great ingredients, great people, and the kind of place where you can tell they really care about what they're doing. Definitely one of those neighborhood spots you're happy to discover. I'll absolutely be back, and next time I'm leaving with some steaks!

Just found this place through Instagram ads and decided to give it a try. Just for information, their working hours are 9 AM-9 PM, 7 days a week. I mentioned this because we missed it on one of our attempts. Finally, on Sunday evening, my husband and I had a chance to visit Butcher and Booze. Very interesting store, with a delicious smell. There is a huge section of drinks where you can find very unique wines and alcoholic beverages. They also have a section of Japanese drinks, and in another corner, different kinds of unique seasonings, BBQ charcoal, and other BBQ supplies. The staff are very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Next to the drinks section, there are several tables available indoors and two tables on the sidewalk for outdoor dining to enjoy your meals. Their food menu is very interesting, and we tried the Philly cheesesteak and pastrami sandwiches (which they prepare completely in-house from A to Z). The sandwiches were super delicious, juicy, and full of flavor. One thing that surprised me was the amount of salt they used -- it was exactly the right amount, and we didn't get thirsty after eating them. These sandwiches are some of the best we've tried so far, and I highly recommend giving them a try. I noticed a huge samovar (large kettle) and another kettle in the corner of the open kitchen, and I asked about them. Argisht, who noticed my interest and who I believe is behind the kitchen and the delicious food success there, started a very warm and helpful conversation with us and surprised us by serving cups of tea. The tea tasted super soft and delicious. If you have ever tried Middle Eastern tea, you will love this tea. Luckily, they are selling it in the store, if I am not wrong it was Sri Lanka tea, which I have never seen in any store around Glendale or Burbank. Thank you for the great food, awesome store, and very positive and friendly service. With just one visit, Butcher and Booze will become one of your usual spots, so don't miss it!
I had the Philly cheesesteak, and it was honestly one of the best I've ever had! This was my first time here, and it's definitely a 10/10. The customer service was excellent, and the place was very clean. I'll definitely be back! Thanks

We stopped by to pick up some steaks for dinner and were immediately greeted by a friendly employee who offered us samples to try. The quality of the meat was incredible!! Honestly better than what we've had at many restaurants. The customer service was equally impressive. The staff made us feel so welcome, like we had known them for years. They truly treated us like family. This definitely won't be our first or last visit. I highly recommend checking this place out!

We got sandwiches for the office from here today and everyone loved it. I got the cold Italian sandwich that came with a ciabatta bread, perfectly toasted. Sandwich had great amount of Italian cold cuts mixed with amazing savory flavors from the spreads. The workers are super kind and accommodating. Considering we're one block away, I'm sure we'll be back soon and often.
This place is down the street from the Glendale Galleria. It's kind of hard to miss while driving by because it's hard to find street parking. The store is clean and has different areas, there's a wall of grocery items, an area to buy raw beef, a fridge with produce, a fridge with craft beer, and a whole area with wine! So much to see!! The owner was very kind and offered to answer any questions we had while I looked around. He was really kind and gave us recommendations for different beef cuts to buy. He was genuine and gave us tips on how to cook certain cuts. Really nice guy! The Philly Cheesesteak was a 4/5. The sandwich was filled with plenty of meat but had slightly too much cheese for my liking. It was a wagyu Philly Cheesesteak so the meat was tender and fattier, perfectly fatty. The bread accompanied the sandwich and soaked up the juices from the meat and cheese. I loved that the bread didn't fall apart, I hate when that happens! After eating the Philly cheesesteak, my boyfriend and I walked around the store to look at the grocery items they sold. There's a huge selection of different sauces, canned fish and foods, drinks, snacks. Mostly international brands which was really cool to see. I'll be coming back to check out the groceries and produce the next time I make a charcuterie board or if I'm having a steak night.

This place is seriously one of Glendale's hidden gems. My husband and I stopped by once to try their sandwiches and now we can't stop going back. We usually pick up meat for the week while we're there -- the prime ribeye and New York strip are insane. Easily the best we've ever had, and the prices are really fair for the quality. Think Whole Foods pricing but way better meat. Their Philly cheesesteak deserves its own paragraph. It's that good. I'd even say it's better than the one from Matu, and that's saying a lot considering it's almost half the price. Serj and his team are the kind of people who make you want to keep coming back. They're super welcoming, know their products, and take pride in what they do. If you have time, eat inside. They'll bring you water, check in on you, and make sure you're taken care of. Plus, free WiFi! We haven't bought meat anywhere else since we found this place. It's that good. read more

Butcher and Booze absolutely blew me away! I tried the chicken and the pastrami sandwich, and both were incredible. The chicken was unbelievably juicy and flavorful, perfectly seasoned with that rich, smoky touch you can only get from people who really know what they're doing. But the pastrami sandwich? Next level. Tender, stacked high, insanely delicious -- honestly one of the best I've had anywhere. Great vibes, great food, great people. I seriously can't wait to come back. Hands down the best Wagyu hamburger we've ever tasted and the best Philly cheesesteak my wife and I have had. We paired them with two seltzers and loved every bite. The store itself is fantastic--great vibe, top-notch ingredients, and an incredible selection. On top of that, the owner is friendly, welcoming, and clearly takes pride in what they do. Amazing cheese Burger, Amazing Philly Cheese steak sandwich, and incredible sushi! A friend of mine has been telling me to come here for a while, today I finally did, and I am left speechless! This place has incredible service 1st of all, I haven't received service this amazing at any steak house! Here they treat you like family! The burger was perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, the bread is fluffy and packed with flavor! Every bite makes you grateful to be here! The burger was so good I had to try the Philly cheesesteak sandwich! Amazingly saucy, the sauce had a nice taste to it, the cheese was perfect not overwhelming nor plain, it is perfectly flavorful! Again, the bread is perfect, not too soft, not hard, perfect! I saw that the chef was making sushi in the back, and I asked if I could try some, the sushi was beyond incredible! Better than most sushi spots, I asked how they got the sushi to taste so buttery and flavorful, they told me their fish is NEVER frozen, it is purchased early morning fresh and served the same day! The sushi was buttery, tender, fresh! I came here casually to try a burger, and I left blown away with my experience here! MUST try this spot! I called over the phone to order 4 sandwiches. They were very nice provided recommendations because i was in between the pastrami and the Philly. They sold me on the Philly the sandwiches are pretty big really good size really good flavors, really good seasoning on the Philly i loved the melted cheese on it overall amazing you should try. They mentioned that the Philly was their first sandwich gave me a bit of background on their sandwich and i was sold. They were also very nice to have toasted the other sandwiches for me. Overall great phone service and great tasting sandwiches. I will be ordering and stopping by again. Thank you. read more

Does not disappoint. We had the pastrami sandwich and it's on par or BETTER than the famous one in nyc. The whole place is decked out with the best things to eat and drink. Will be coming back every quarter when i come to this area! read more
