Firstly - Wow! What a selection. A good mix of regular items and very hard to find curated items. The wine selection here is intense, and they are so helpful. A lady helped me in selecting wines for a special anniversary dinner I was having, one for every course! She mentioned she was in school and paired everything outstandingly! I have been coming here for years, but it has significantly improved recently. read more

I was a little worried when the ownership changed. Although the previous owner was a colorful yet cantankerous guy who frequently opined on political views I wasn't that into, he was a good guy and he knew his wine. Fortunately the new ownership is continuing the excellent inventory of wine and spirits, and now offers beer and pre chilled whites, sparkling wines and champagnes. (Previously there was no refrigerated section). If you care about supporting independent business, this is the best go to for wine and liquor. It's the only place I've EVER found multiple French Malbecs as the bulk of them are Argentinian. The French ones do have a special earthy something that's thick and dark. It's probably just a step away from drinking blood! They're lovely. Skip BevMo and make this your go to for all things wine and spirits, it's exponentially better than the rest. read more

This is my go-to for buying a bottle or many bottles of wine. They have never steered me wrong. I tell them my price point and the occasion, or meal, or mood. My favorite wine store! read more

Topline Wine is under new ownership and has lost all its charm and value. Gone are the knowledgeable staff and unique varietals. Instead it's basically the same wines you'd find at any Gelson'w except about 5-10% more of a markup. Avoid at all coats. What a disappointment! read more

The first time I went to Topline it was a fluke. I was at the park with my kids and needed some wine for a party. It was across the street making it easy to walk over, buy a few bottles and then leave. It would have been a one and done if I hadn't gotten such great suggestions on reds from one of the store's employees - Priya. My husband having spent some time in Italy is a bit of a wine snob. He loved the bottles I brought home so much, he started shopping there. She has become our go to when we shop there and have been telling all our friends to come here. Highly recommend checking it out. It's inside this garage looking like building, so you could miss it. They have an amazing variety of wines - French, Italian, Argentinian, Spanish, local wineries, etc. etc. You really can't go wrong shopping here. read more

Good advice Great price Great selection Alex is my wine guru Have been going for 20 years read more

They have a HUGE selection of wines and spirits. Have used them for decades for parties, events, and having a unique and quality stash of booze in our bar. Also a great spot for gifts read more

This place was recommended to me by a family member and I absolutely love it. Located in a warehouse looking cluster of buildings, Topline has many alcoholic beverages for reasonable prices. They're employees are also very knowledgeable, anytime I want suggestions or recommendations they know exactly what to give me whether it's whiskey or a bottle of Chardonnay. I come here mostly to buy nice gifts for people who enjoy a drink. Parking is right out front, never had any problems finding a spot. Definitely will be coming back in the future. read more

This place is great. Clean, organized with a deep inventory. Staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable. Above all else, prices are more than fair. I will always visit these guys and support. read more

I barely drink anything alcoholic and know nothing about wine, but I needed a nice bottle to offer up at a social event. The gentleman working there saw me browsing and offered me his help in making a selection. I explained I needed something to go along with a charcuterie board. He made a couple of suggestions, giving me a description of what to expect with each wine. I picked one of his suggestions, and I have to say it was quite a delicious wine. They're located a bit off-the-beaten-track, so you really need to map it to find this location. Well worth it. read more

Great selection and staff always willing to recommend wine within your budget restraints. Good wine doesn't need to be super expensive and they will give you a great bottle read more

This place is the best for affordable single malt Scotch. Friendly , happy, knowledgeable staff will answer every question. The booze goddess (sorry, I didn't get her name) will tell you which region a scotch came from and what it tastes like. You might not find a 25 year Macallan (they have 18 year) but, you will find a suitable substitute for about $42. There is a 3% fee for credit cards and you can blame the credit card companies for this as this is a pass through fee. Don't think of it as a fee, think of it as a discount for cash. The prices are still better than the big stores even with the 3%. One last comment, this store is dog friendly, very friendly, my dog received treats and love. My dog can't wait to go back and neither can I. read more

They have a vast inventory, unique selections of locally produced products, and the staff is very helpful with recommendations.

This is my go to place for wine and liquor. They are located in a industrial looking store front, very easy to pass on buy. Not fancy inside at all, but what a huge selection though. We have been coming here for years and are greeted as we arrive. Mike, Kevin and Kat are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. If you have a question or need a suggestion on a wine pairing they can give you lots of suggestions in different price ranges. read more

I came here to buy a specific Tequila and I can't tell if it's the owner or sales associate but the person wasn't very helpful. I know everyone says this, but I've never left a Yelp review before, but I signed up for Yelp just to praise this business! I walked in with a dinner party menu, and walked out 5 minutes later with wine to pair with everything on the menu. The owners were so kind, pleasant, and knowledgeable! The prices are so much better than total wine and also cheaper than other independent wine stores I've been to. Topline Wine & Spirit is my new favorite! read more

Topline Wine & Spirits - a sign on the side of a building - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Glendale, California

Stumbled onto this glorious place around the corner from me by accident. The folks that run this place are knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. Their selection of hard to find wine and liquor left my jaw on the floor -- and the specialty bitters and other various cocktail accoutrements they have are a thoughtful touch. This is my new spot for ANYTHING wine and liquor related. (Also -- they beat BevMo prices by a mile) read more

Experienced very arrogant and rude behavior from the owner! He was screaming back OFF! Im opening my store not the type of business one wants in their community. Indeed in these difficult times there are store owners who need more support. P.s. shop wisely read more

This is my go-to place to pick a bottle for a gift... I just went there today as a matter of fact. Now I don't know a whole lot about wine but these guys will answer your questions without any attitude. I've learned a lot from them as a customer. You don't necessarily need to spend a whole lot of money on quality wine & spirits. Whether on a budget or you want to spend some coin that day, they'll work with you on suggestions from foreign to domestic... Good selection of vodkas, as well. Other spirits like whiskey, tequila and champagne are covered. I found out about this place from my coworker whose husband is quite the connoisseur when it comes to wine. She told me that their prices are very competitive on most bottles and that the staff are very helpful. Over they years, I've found this to be totally true, Top Line's prices are comparable if not, a few dollars cheaper than BevMo or Costco... See for yourself. read more

Mike is always such a pleasure to deal with. He makes shopping fun. He and the team have a great knowledge of wine and you just can't beat their prices. I have been going to Topline for about 25 years and usually loved what I got there. If you shop there you should know that they are now charging a fee if you want to use a credit card. This puts the cost actually higher than if you bought the same thing other places. I thought this was illegal. I won't be going back. read more

Ssssssshh. Wanna know my go-to place to buy liquor and good wine? My favorite wine purveyor in all of LA is Topline. The location feels like a secret too; the store is hidden in the back of a parking lot. Topline looks like a store that people discover by word of mouth. I like the choices here and the prices are super reasonable, like Costco. I love the hard-to-get French, Italian selections here and they're not over-the-top pricey. Nah, just fair prices, the prices are so fair; I buy by the case. I feel like I've dealt with people who know their oenos here everytime I've come. It feels like a small business that caters to repeat customers. Visits: Many, many read more

Just came home from my first ever trip here. I can't say enough good things! I'm planning a dinner in a few days, and I needed some serious help with choosing wine. I can resuscitate a newborn, and I can stop a postpartum hemorrhage, but I am entirely ignorant when it comes to wine. The staff here was all fantastic and did not make me feel stupid at all. Super special thanks to Cat, who is lovely! read more

Let's raise a glass, to this liquor establishment with class! Whether it's Tequila, Whiskey, Bourbon or Wine; a better price and shopping experience you will not find. Costco type pricing but with a personal shopper type touch. These guys really know their libations and they will have you expanding your cocktail repertoire in no time. We have had the best luck in finding the rare top shelf tequilas; and we were hopeful that they would have connections to finding bottles of the elusive Pappy Van Winkle. They assured us there were far better things to try than the over priced PVW; and have turned us onto some of the most interesting wheat whiskey's, bourbons and Rye's. Thanks to the friendly guys at Topline; you've made this a fun liquor hunting weekend destination. read more

Topline wine in Glendale never lets me down. Once they pointed me toward a $30.00 wine which was a fraction of the price b/c the wine seller was under scrutiny in the courts for copyright infringement from Robert Mondavi. Never got a bad bottle even for about $10.00 from them. During Covid I called and told them I didn't feel comfortable coming into the store to wander, shop & confer on wines... So they offered to put together a collection for us based on what my taste was. They listened carefully over the phone to my lame descriptions & put together a box for me. This has happened 3 times since Covid started in early April & they have all been spectacular. I hope this review supports this amazing small business and keep them around for 2021 and beyond! read more

Excellent customer service, unparalleled selection of spirits. We came in here looking for mezcal and they had a plethora of mezcals and tequila that were each so unique and also enticing- it was honestly hard to choose. Great spot to purchase wine and other liquors at decent prices. I found the organization of the warehouse like environment somewhat haphazard, even after the people working there kindly explained the set up to me. I prefer organic and biodynamic wines so I just had to read every sign to find them as they weren't obviously labeled. The staff didn't make me feel awkward even though I wandered slowly looking at everything for a long time when the shop was fairly quiet. Great service since they patiently answered all of my questions! The stock will always be unpredictable so that's a draw back, but the flip side is being confident that the pricing will be better than going elsewhere. Parking was easy, as they have a private lot. read more
