The parking situation was kind of confusing, as it had been my first time at this particular Total Wine & More. The employee that rang up my order was funny because I've been getting the coupons on my receipt for about a month now, and he told me that I'll have to come back yet again. Well, Total Wine will always be my favorite place for alcoholic beverages because they have the biggest variety and the best prices. BevMo doesn't even come close, as much as I love them, too. It's never crowded, hardly ever a line, and you can browse in peace. read more

i've been there several year now, and love their liquor and beer. Hoping that they're open after Christmas. The crew, employees are very good to me. My roommate shares the cost of the liquor and beer in the last few years. We cook and drink shots and drink beer at night and we never get tired of it Or angry at each other either. (Shopped 10/11/23 WE @ 8:00pm): This place totally had more than just wine... beer, liquor, snacks, and sodas, too! Total Wine & More Glendale's location opened up earlier this year, and I couldn't be happier! This brand (specifically their Pasadena location) became a favorite of mine during the COVID lockdown pandemic years (sorry, BevMo!). Basically a shrine to all-things alcohol, liquor, and wine, they truly filled all your needs! On this fateful night, I finally made my first appearance desperately in search of a couple bar tools for a week-long bartending gig I was starting the next day. Would I be able to find what I needed... and maybe something else!? PURCHASE Viski Copper Liquor Pourer ($1.91): Apparently on clearout since this was the last one, I quickly grabbed this and asked if they had more. I simply loved the look, its sturdiness, and perfectly matched the exact ones I already had. Sadly, this was the only bar tool I was able to find here, but it was a good find at a wonderful price! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=MN2fHKcu49_0-DkVExvkRQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Ayinger Oktober Fest-Märzen Beer 11.2floz Bottles 4pk ($9.49): An impulse buy because of the season, this was an unfamiliar brand of beer to me, so I decided to give it a shot. Amber orange color, malty sweet aroma, low body, malty sweet flavor, smooth finish, and clean malty sweet aftertaste - not bad at all! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=_o3ZoMCD9efd4qHAG9zppw&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Southern Tier Brewing Co. Pumking Imperial Pumpkin Ale Beer 12floz Bottles 4pk ($15.99): Another impulse buy because of the season, this was another unfamiliar brand of beer to me, so I also gave it a shot. Dark amber color, baked pumpkin spicy aroma, low body, baked pumpkin spicy sweet flavor, heavy finish, and a baked pumpkin spicy sweet aftertaste - it was like drinking a pumpkin pie! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=xoE-ZpIVeotDB9hXODhwiA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw SERVICE I believed I was the only customer in the store and recalled seeing only two employees (one on the sales floor and the other at the checkout counter). I honestly didn't need any assistance since I took it as the opportunity to thoroughly walk through the store as my first time. I eventually found what I initially came for in addition to a couple other items, and I was quickly rung up by a young lethargic male. All was good! PARKING (FREE) Located at the Glendale Fashion Center, they shared a large parking lot/structure (underground & above ground) with several national business chains such as Michaels, Nordstrom Rack, Petco, Ralphs, Staples, World Market and more - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A seemingly large warehouse with aisles after aisles of anyone's alcohol desires all perfectly and easily labeled and organized from the floor to the ceiling. There was a central information desk, a tasting area, and oh so much more! However, it seemed smaller than my favorite Pasadena location. Because the store was located in the underground parking area, there was no natural light at all while bright electric ceiling lights and those from the parking lot filled the rest. There were no TVs, but music played in the background. ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL Glendale's Total Wine & More was truly every adult's and drinker's wet dream that tantalized and teased you to buy and try everything, and would definitely be a threat to the nearby yet smaller BevMo! Along Brand Blvd.. The selection was second-to-none, the prices highly competitive due to economies of scale, and I was sure throughout the day and not in the waning closing hours there were plenty of staff members and customers. I wasn't sure if they were able to do special orders for items they didn't carry. And, if you joined their free membership, you earned points with every dollar spent towards future discounts. I found total value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience over a three-month period was around $31.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 5.0 STARS read more

Total Wine & More - Excellent service by Richard, was so helpful and informative - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Glendale, California

It's such a privilege to have a Total Wine in Glendale! Not only does the store boast an impressive selection of bottles, but the service is consistently excellent. After visiting multiple times, I've gotten to know the friendly staff and their store manager, Juan. Every time I stop by, I'm greeted warmly and assisted with any questions I have. The team is incredibly knowledgeable and will even walk across the store to help me find a specific bottle. Their customer service is truly top notch. If you're looking for a fully stocked store with great prices (better than most local liquor stores), this is the place. Total Wine Glendale is now my go-to for all things alcohol, and it will be for years to come. read more

This place is dangerous due to their extensive collection. The staff is knowledgeable as well, especially Juan and Ricky in the wine section. I wish this place hadn't opened in Glendale because I can never resist the discounts and coupons they offer. The rewards program is beneficial, too, if you visit enough. read more

I was very impressed with the services in Pasadena, I was, as a Glendale resident, very happy to see that they opened a Glendale location, conveniently located very close to my supermarket. Sadly, they failed to every extent. No knowledge of the product, unfriendly. I had multiple negative experiences so the executive office apologized at large. And even when they knew when I came back with an executive office gift card, they screwed it up so I vowed to never return. I left my cart at the checkout and drove to Pasadena to buy my liquor there. As some of you may ask: what happened? First, I asked for Sambuca. The sales rep had no idea - was not even able to punch Sambuca in her little hand-held device after spelling it three times (I think the fake lashes got in her way ;-). Despite her saying they would not carry Sambuca I found it, and wanted to check out - and there was an issue with another customer. After 20 mins wait I suggested they would open another check-out. They refused. I left. read more

Every time I've needed to purchase wine or spirits for a large party or for personal leisure I come to this store. Their selection supersedes anything in the area. That' includes BevMo. If you're new to wine and wanna learn about it, I suggest you pay Freddy a visit in the wine tasting area. He is friendly, approachable and extremely knowledgable. You can also take a wine tasting class with him. Overall, this is a GREAT store. read more

Excellent location with a fabulous retail space that displays quite a large selection for any need for wine and liqueur. Pricing is also very comparable to competitors with some focus on some small central coast winemakers too. Selection for high-end items is also a bit more extensive than some other purveyors. Behind some locked cases are some fine examples of wine, Scotches, and brandy. There is also a large area for chilled items. read more

COVID-19: Social distancing is not enforced at this establishment. Some of the staff wears a mask. All customers are not expected to wear a mask. It's optional now. Some of the staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open and available with no limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was grabbing some alcohol from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is located underground, and they also share the lot with several other establishments like Ralph's. I hate coming here because the underground parking lot is tricky to get into. Lots of parking spots for you to choose from though. Staff: The staff here are very helpful and friendly. I was trying to find more of the Seaborn Margaritas Variety Pack at this location, and they helped me to locate the item in the store. I am throwing a big party this summer, so I am trying to stock up on this before summer actually arrives. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum. read more

I attended the first of many classes at Total Wine's new location in Glendale. Our instructors Juan & Freddy were fabulous! They both are experts in their field and shared a wealth of knowledge with us in every aspect of wine. Plus, they were also very entertaining. We sampled some excellent Cabernet Sauvignons at various price points and were treated to some delicious food from Mediterranean Delight. We even got to sign a Magnum of Mailly Grand Cru to commemorate the first class. I can't wait for the next one! read more

I can't believe Glendale is getting it's own Total Wine & More. For years, I've been driving to the Pasadena location. This new location is located in the Glendale Fashion Center, right across from Ralphs market. The previous business that was occupying this space was Rite Aide, but they closed in 2011. After Rite Aide, this business has been a Halloween shop every October. I'm so glad this business has arrived in Glendale. Mind you, this location is much smaller than the Pasadena location. The convenience alone makes me give this place 5 stars. read more

I'm so happy a Total Wines opened up closer to me. I've always preferred total wines over bevmo. The prices are affordable and a few bucks cheaper than bevmo. Grand opening week and we came in with our $10 off $50 coupon. Plenty of underground parking - they have remodeled the old Longs Drugs store. Plenty of staff to help. Nice selection of hubby's favorite local breweries including Paperback and Frogtown. I got a bottle of Chardonnay and a Cointreau. Beer and wine tastings during certain hours. Will definitely be back as it much closer to me than the Pasadena store. read more

They had a sign that they had spirit tasting - we go down there and first some worker says " it's after 6, it's over" and I said no, the sign says 7. Then the guy says " ... oh, uh we're not having it today, a vendor is supposed to do it and no one here" They need to change their signs and notifications. That's horrible customer relations. Never coming back read more

Really helpful sales associates but they really have to turn on the AC. I went in looking for specific wines and he knew where every single one of them was. Also he recommended me some bottles which I got of course. I left with a nice assortment of bottles for my collection. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Plenty of parking and open space so don't have to worry about that read more

This is specifically about the manager. Unfriendly. Rude. Condescending. I have not felt this unwelcome in a store in years. I am just amazed how this person is in charge of this location. This location has the worst customer service you will encounter by a long shot. I came here because one of the drinks was like $15 cheaper than everywhere else, but i greatly regret coming here today. I would have much rather spent an extra $15 somewhere else where they know how to respect their customers. Stay away from this location. Unless you enjoy being disrespected. read more

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience I had at Total Wine, particularly regarding an interaction with an employee named Juan. From the moment I approached Juan for assistance, I was taken aback by his dismissive attitude. Rather than providing the help I needed, he responded to my inquiries with a tone that was not only unhelpful but also condescending. It is disappointing to encounter such behavior in a retail environment, especially at a well-regarded establishment like Total Wine, where customer service should be a priority. Furthermore, Juan's lack of professionalism left me feeling unwelcome and frustrated. Instead of feeling supported in my shopping experience, I felt as though my presence was an inconvenience to him. This is not how customers should be treated, and it reflects poorly on the overall atmosphere of the store. And if you're reading this Juan fuck you, you lucky you caught me on a good day i aint from glendale homie. The manager of this location has terrible customer service. When dealing with an upset customer instead of de-escalating the situation she acts rude and makes petty comments.
