A quality beverage chain of the large variety, especially since they merged with GoPuff and add personal care, pantry, ice cream and select grocery items to the inventory of their 166 stores and locations which included services for pick up as well as delivery. BevMo - Glendale is one that does Beverages & More quite well. It's a somewhat boutique like style compare to some of the other locations in Greater Los Angeles, but still carries quite a lot, especially in terms of wine and spirits. I've been in a few times before over the years and each time it's better. I'll take a pint of Oatly Non-Dairy Strawberry Ice Cream and two bottles of Dolce Vita DOC Italian Rose Prosecco - buy one, get one 5 cents!! A signature deal at BevMo that goes beyond the wine these days ;) #ClubBev Never too busy so easy to stroll in a browse. I like the convenience of this BevMo, it's close to my house and I always get awesome service from its staff. The shelves are always well stacked and I normally come out of there with booze that I haven't tasted but wanted to try (e.g. all sorts of Islay Scotch Whisky) On my last visit I bought a few Single Malt (Glenmorangie) and a bottle of Laphroaig, really wanted to try get the Ardbeg but that's something for next time. Overall, this BevMo is nice, I feel like it's the Costco of Liquor stores where you tell yourself you'll just get what's on the list but end up coming home with a crate full of booze from your invisible liquor list. I came in here to just look around for any wine bottles for a picnic. I found wine bottles that were $3.99! Now that's a deal! I ended up getting a Chardonnay. It was pretty good for that price. Also, I saw that they sell some cute glasses for wine, whiskey, margarita, and martinis. I ended up buying this jeweled up martini glass. The staff were kind to help us out with questions. Bevmo still has the same hours! I consider their staff to be... essential workers! They are still so friendly, accommodating, and helpful. We appreciate you guys. It was very close to closing yesterday, but my husband wanted some chilled "champagne" to celebrate. Since there are currently limitations to entering retail stores, you basically need to pre-order by phone or online...or tell staff exactly what you want. We knew we didn't want to spend $50+ on one bottle lol but wanted a chilled bottle ASAP. Luckily there was a 5 cent wine sale going on, and we were able to get a bottle of chilled sparkling, french wine per recommendation of a Bevmo employee and got a second one for 5 cents. Thank you for making our night special in spite of it all. I highly recommend visiting here. Crew member Randy gets 5 stars!!! This store is doing some sort of remodel or re-organization. When I went, all the accessories and non-alcoholic products were inaccessible. The staff stocking shelves right there weren't very helpful. Hopefully, they are done with this by now, but I couldn't get everything I needed because of this minor inconvenience. But the reason they lose stars is because of parking. That part of Glendale is terrible for parking any way -- especially because there was a wedding at the banquet hall. BevMo has a small parking lot for 6 or 8 cars, maybe. It was full... and as I circled looking for parking, I saw an employee was parked in that small lot. This made me angry, as there's a big public garage that's pretty convenient -- if you aren't going to be carrying lots of bottles of booze to your car. Why are employees parked in the small lot for customers? But... I couldn't stay upset because cashier Randy was AMAZING! He was so friendly, he flipped my mood. It was perfect timing too, since my wine rack was nearly dry and I wanted to bring a few bottles to Thanksgiving lunch. As was usually the case, I searched for wines I'd never tried before (variety was the spice of life, right?), and as long as I spent close to $50 as possible I would've saved close to 20%. From the Monterey, CA region, this had a yellow color, subtle nose and sweetness with a refreshing finish. 2010 Tormaresca Neprica ($11.99) - I loved Italian wine and this baby from the Puglia region was no exception. A ruby color with an aromatic nose, half-body yet robust taste and a lingering finish. 2011 Las Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon ($9.99) - For some reason my palate wasn't a fan of Chilean wines, like this one from the Colchagua region. A deep dark color, strong nose, full-body taste with high tannins and a chalky finish. 2011 V.No Malbec ($9.99) - I didn't always have a palate for Malbecs but I have grown to appreciate them now, and this one from the Argentina's Mendoza region was a bargain at this price! Ruby dark color, bold nose, full-body with slight tannins and somehow a pleasant clean finish. 2011 Para El Alma Chardonnay ($8.99) - I've found that Chardonnays are a bit dry for me now, but this one from the Buellton, CA region was decent. A light yellow color, lilting nose, casual-body with fruity overtures and a oak finish. Service - I usually didn't need any assistance since I knew my booze, brews and wines, so it was simply a kind greeting from the cheery youthful staff and the quick way they got me through checkout. They seemed to have a penchant at this particular location to constantly ask for my ID - what gives!? It was all good especially when I saw their reaction. There was a tiny tasting area in the center of the store, registers at both back and front entrances/exits, refrigerated section for mostly beer (Champagnes and white wines, too), and a plethora of aisles that housed all the adult goodies and libations. They had a few snacks as well as a quaint selection of cigars and stogies. Of course promotional ads hung from the walls as well as strategically-placed POP displays. A fair amount of natural (and street) lighting came through all the windows and glass doors mixed with the primarily soul-sucking fluorescent lighting. Visited BevMo for the first time. I'm not sure how this location compares to the other BevMo stores. But first impression is that it felt cramped, has an average selection, prices are so-so, and customer service is poor to non-existent. The workers we saw were busy socializing with each other. Also on a busy Saturday evening, there was only one cashier and a very long line of customers. The store layout was organized with wines on one side and spirits on the other. Clearly marked signs were helpful. I didn't like the stacks of cases in the middle of the store because it look cluttered. This store is just ok in my opinion. read more

Twice while visiting the Americana Shopping Area, I crossed the street to buy a Diet Pepsi because it was so hot outside, but both times, they had none. Please tell me how a place that specializes in selling beverages, never has something as common as a cold Diet Pepsi (or even a cold regular Pepsi)?! Could you please cover the basics? And no, I don't want a Diet Coke, which they did have. Both times there was another shopper looking for their own favorite cold soft drink, which they didn't have either, so it must be a very common misconception that one can expect to buy a cold drink at this beverage store. Lots of sales opportunities being missed, that's for sure! With that out of the way, they deserve rave reviews for the guy at the check-out desk near the front doors off Brand... he was exceedingly nice. If I had a job to offer him, I'd immediately try to hire him away... he's that impressive! To help identify him for praise: he's the guy that strikes my memory as being a blond dude, but he might have had a shaved head or buzzed hair... The layout at this location is a bit strange, but it has everything I need! The employees here are wonderful and truly helpful! I am such a Bevmo fan. They have domestic and imported wines, beers, and liquors from all over the world and perfect snacks to go with them! They have festive holiday gifts too! They even have premixed cocktails to make entertaining a breeze. They do ID people when they walk in, because you need to be 21 to shop here, for obvious reasons! BevMoFoMe! I like BevMo's, yes I do. This is one of the smallest locations I've seen, and therefore, less items and less inventory -- they just don't have the floorspace or the shelf space to carry it all. But, that doesn't mean I don't always find something I like here. The prices are fantastic, and the staff is lovely, and very helpful. It's too bad this location has to be on Brand, across from the Americana. It's not like the shoppers and diners see the sign, and say "Let's get a case of Caymus Cabernet and carry it around." Or, "Oh boy, there's a BevMo! Let's pickup some schnapps and take it to the movies with us!". Since parking stinks anywhere around the area, their 6 or so parking spaces in the back just doesn't cut it, and you may be forced to drive around a bit (or down the block) to park for free, or use the metered parking if you can find one close enough to the store entrance (which, by the way, is in the back of the store). Other locations all have big free parking lots...so if they just moved this location over a block or two, or next to a market -- all would be much better. Compared to other BevMo's I'd rate this a 3 star, but overall, it's a solid 4 star for stores in this category. read more

This is our standard bevmo and everytime we go, it's like Xmas for adults. I swear, my boyfriend is always about 2 seconds away from gliding down the aisles on the shopping cart like in those old school, back-to-school staples commercials lol. Their selection is always rotating and up to date, and their employees are usually super friendly and knowledgeable. One of their female employees with the curly hair cracks me up!! She typically ends up checking us out and we always have a nice conversation -she suggests a lot of great beers too! The only down side to this Bevmo is the parking!!!! Brand is such a Shitshow to begin with and then when you go around back to park in their lot, there is legit 6 spots crammed into the smallest lot I have EVER seen. Trying to get in and out of there is such a task and an accident waiting to happen...it's even worse when ppl park huge trucks in there and you have to try your best to maneuver around them. During off hours, there is parking typically on that back street, but if not, you're shit out of luck a lot of times. And so...Minus one star for obnoxious parking situation. read more

It's the closest BevMo to my place but I had to drive to the next closest one for what I wanted. Not only were they out of what I needed, they didn't even carry it in other quantities. The store seemed empty with just a handful of shoppers. The other location was bustling with a full inventory. Staff seems friendly enough but the parking is limited to about ten spots in the back. All in all, I'd recommend either Pasadena or the Burbank locations. read more

It's sad. I have shopped at many different BevMo stores and had great service and prices. First time buying from this location. Ordered online, received confirmation of the order and told to come pick up. Within 24 hrs I received a cancellation of the items with was desperately looking for. I give a call to find out, they told me just come in if I had confirmation, but I felt suspicious and said can they check, only to find out it really was canceled. Reasoning I ordered too many. No information online about it, no change of my order to a smaller about, then just to find out it was sold out. I guess someone was more important then me. Never shopping at this store again.
