It's one of the smaller BevMo's I've been to but it's well stocked and I rarely find dusty bottles. The major issue at this location is the parking. They are now doing extra construction and have blocked off the public parking area. There are only like 4 or 5 private BevMo spots and it's a tight spot so it's hard to wait for one of them to open up before you're honked at to get out of the way. The staff is friendly and they usually have some sort of tasting table setup but I'm always rushing in and out. This is to help with their parking situation but also to enjoy my GJ as quickly as possible. read more

I am not usually a huge fan for alcohol but this place has a huge variety of selections including but not limited to energy drinks, flavored water, retro sodas, glassware and miniature alcohol bottles. The staff is great and they are always helpful. The prices are pretty steep on alcohols but every thing else should be fine. The miniature alcohol are great thing to give to your friends for laughs as well for any baking needs. read more

Not much in terms of selection compared to their other stores, but I guess given the location right in the middle of downtown, it will do for those that live there. I went into this store looking for one specific beer and it took a long time for their team to figure it out. I actually found it myself while they were escalating the "search" to the manager, then the "manager's manager". Still, if you are looking for craft beer this is an Exceptional Location. The layout is great, the team is friendly, and the proximity is awesome across the street from the Americana. A good company with a great team. We worked with this BevMo to supply the alcohol for our wedding at the Los Angeles River Center. Claudia treated us to a wine tasting in the store, and showcased a good number of wines. She and Eric were great to work with, and helped a lot in finalizing the order. Delivery was professional and on-time. Only thing is I wish they had a somewhat larger beer selection. Any Bevmo that has some Bruery beers in a fairly wide selection, as well as a good stock of Victory Brewery beers is one that I can get behind. Over all the lay out is much different than most any other Bevmo I have seen. The tasting area is really smack dab right in front of you as you walk in. The shelf lay out and the space for the store is really a departure than any other Bevmo you probably walked into. The prices and the help provided is pretty on top of their game. Over all, this location is a nice Bevmo and I found a good number of craft beers that I generally don't see at too many other Bevmo's. So they have someone who knows what they're doing handling that section. Didn't venture over to the wines too much, but over all, this is a nice gem across the street of that big pile of garbage that is the Americana. read more

Alcohol abundant superstore! If Bevmo does not carry it then it does not exist. Came here to get different tequilas, mixes, wine and craft beer. Found everything I was in search of and then some. Careful! You could easily spend a fortune here stocking up for your personal use or catering for a party. Friendly and helpful staff who don't beat around the bush. If they can't answer your query then they will find someone who can. You ask the "what product is better?" question you always get a blunt answer. Love this place. read more

THE WORST BevMo I have been too. ZERO at customer service. I am a handicapped woman and I was there late Sunday night. I was parked in the designated handicap parking spot at the shop. The store was going to close at 9:00 and so I did not think it was a problem for me to leave my car to go across the street to grab a quick bite to eat. When I returned at 9:30 my car was towed. WHO TOWS a handicapped persons car???? ONLY a true heartless idiot. I was stranded and devastated as nothing like this had ever happened to me before. WHO IN THE WORLD TOWS A HANDICAP VEHICLE AT THAT HOUR???????? Plus what the charge to tow your car is absolutely high way robbery $304.50, I finally got my car I got home at midnight in tears. This store is PERFECTLY located and the selection is amazing. However, the most outstanding part I'd say were the cashiers/salespeople. They were all over the place and all friendly and eager to help me. They never lost patience with me when I insisted on looking through all the choices (there are just so many choices!) and made some friendly jokes with me. I felt very happy when I left. I'm a fan of BevMo because they have so much more to offer. But I can safely say that this particular BevMo can be a bit irritating because of their parking situation. They are right across from The Americana which already causes problems when it comes to traffic but it doesn't help that their parking lot consists of about 6 parking slots. There is, however, meter parking a few feet away but that isn't AS convenient. The selection varies which is both good and bad. Since they have such a smaller store they don't hold as many products but they still out shine any Ralph's, Food 4 Less, Vons, and Super A in the ER area. Overall I'm a fan. Tip Sign up for their reward program; they have some good specials from time to time. Order and check their stock online if you know what you want and don't want to waste your time. read more

They NEVER get an online order correct. There is always a problem. Order a 2L soda and you'll get a 1L. Order a specific type of liquor and you'll get the wrong type. Then you have to take the time to drive to the store, which you didn't want to do in the first place which is why you ordered on line, to exchange the bottle for the correct type. This is the second time I have tried to buy large quantities of wine from them and have failed. Both times I checked inventory online and they had plenty in stock but when I went to the store, they always claim they "sold it all last night". Really, both times you sold all of them "last night", what a coincidence. Subsequently, both times, they offered "comparable" options which were at least 30-40% more expensive. No thank you! Either this place is running a "bait and switch" operation or their inventory system is completely shot. The only reason they get 2 stars is their vast selection of wines. I've been to many BevMo locations and am pretty disappointed in the service here. I had chosen my items and was waiting in line for a non-existent cashier. I was looking around to see where the cashier was...when he finally walks up with another customer that had still been deciding what to buy. Instead of helping me, the customer WAITING IN LINE, he took her first and told me he'd be with me in a moment. I was pretty out off, so put my items back and walked out. Pretty sure the person assigned to the register should stay there...and at the very least help the person waiting in line first. read more

I felt I had to update and really give a fair assessment. Not that my last one was not, but I wanted to bring something important up. Today I got Camille again and I had my video camera ready. I recorded her taking my I.D. and swiping it & immediately giving it back to me. I asked her why check for ID and she stated it's their policy to verify anyone who appears under the age of 50. I questioned her about why she did not look at my I.D. to where she lied and insisted that she did. I told her that I recorded her, and she did not even look at my I.D. She insisted that she did, and I asked, "did you see if that is my photo in there?" She asked a question, like she did the last time I was there on July 3rd, rather than answer the question, and she said, "is that you?" The last time I asked her, "are you even old enough to sell?" and she replied, "are you old enough to buy?" This of course is after she ran my I.D. through the machine. I mentioned how I was the one who brought up this inconsistent problem and she did mention that they got a memo last week about it. What that really entailed is beyond me. But the fact that this woman has a cocky attitude when questioned bugs me and anyone in customer service should not do this at all! Her small talk in the beginning is only used as a buffer for her quick, abrupt & thoughtless responses does not make up for it at all! When I called and spoke to the manager Eric, he was very thorough in their policies and explained other issues I was not aware of. I mentioned the issue about Camille briefly. Although Camille really left a bitter taste in my mouth, I understand that this may not be the issue for everyone. But personally I do not like to be badgered for my I.D., but can understand policies and will respect that. What I will not tolerate is lies and questions in response to my own questions. Camille is that bad seed. If you get her, you'll be fine if you do not ask her any question. It could be a cultural aspect of hers, coming from a foreign country, personalities and behaviors are different so I will have to take that into consideration. But I have to say that because of how Eric handled it, he just made it all better even though I was a bit upset with Camille. He could have been short with me too but he was not, and anyone who takes the time to explain the policies and why they have been implemented, and even suggested that I could contact their corporate office for further more detailed explanation really exemplifies of what a manager really is! I still go back to BevMo (obviously) and will continue to do so. Overall their service is really good. Maybe if they had a bit more in their selections, that would be nice! read more

This BevMo is not as accessible as most. The parking is limited located in back of the store accessed from the alley. Lucky I work up the street, so it's not too overwhelming of a park & drive. Nevertheless, the inventory is vast and carry the essentials especially for those rough weeks from work. They also carry chips, snacks, crackers, and cheeses. Love BevMo! We don't have them on the East Coast, so I really loved the variety of liquors, wines, mixers, and beverages they had. They also had a small cheese/charcuterie fridge near the registers! There was a wine tasting when we were there. We attended that and got $2 coupons off our purchases. The guy who was working the wine tasting was really nice and funny, too. The location was clean and also had a bathroom in it, which was very convenient for shoppers who are drinking. read more

Ordering online then showing up for pick up sounds like we are heading towards a future like the one seen in Wall-E or Idiocracy. You don't have to walk through the rows of shelves anymore looking for your favorite wine, spirits, and alcohol. No just look it up on their website then put it into your cart and set up the time of expected pick up. Afterwards you just have to show up, show proof of id and you are on your way. Missing out on whatever the store has to offer. Oh well, the computer illiterate can reap the rewards of the technologically savvy. This place is really clean and the staff is very helpful There is parking out in the back but it is rather limited to a couple slots Will I be back? Even though I don't really drink I will be back if I have to bring something to a potluck and I don't feel up to it making 5lbs of potato salad, I can always come in and pick up a pack of Cable Car Amber Ale to bring for the guys to have. read more

It's nice to have a large selection of booze in Glendale at good prices. However, their parking is absolutely horrendous. I really can't believe the City of Glendale allowed them to get away with their parking lot with all of 7 spaces. There is a parking lot next to it, but it is metered parking...which is annoying. That would be like every time I go to the market or Trader Joes I would have to feed a meter... ridiculous. For some reason there is always a line as well... I'll go here for some of my booze, but would rather find a smaller shop that is run by a mom and pop. For example, Red Carpet Liquor...and they have a large parking lot. read more

My wife and I were married just this past September and decided to go with Bev Mo after a friend told me about how we could save a ton of money by planning around their 5 cent sales. We did save a bundle on wine and they even threw a nice little discount our way on the liquor and beer to boot! Get this, they even allowed us to store our order in their coolers until our caterer was ready to receive it AND delivered the whole thing for free! Talk about service! Their staff was also a great help during the entire process, giving me professional suggestions for our order while also keeping our total very budget friendly! The sales associate, Colton was extremely patient with checking prices for me, and dealing with my indecisivness. Love this place. If not already an alcoholic, I think I'll be one because of them. The service is exceptional. Everyone is always so polite and helpful and they greet you no matter what. Not over bearing like those car sales people. If you want something that they do not have they will try to get it in for you, but it might be in cases. Point is, they present you with solutions. Of course who doesn't love the 'penny' sale that they have periodically. Only set back is the very small parking lot behind. Only fits like 5 cars. But there is a metered lot right behind them which is good. What you do is, place an order online and pick it up in a half hour. Super convenient. All this typing has made me parched.
