Chicken Thigh Cesar Wrap
Jonas A.

I've been wanting to come here for several years and the stars finally aligned. I ordered the chicken ceasar wrap. I was expecting it to be good, but I was not expecting to have one of the singular best things I've ever eaten in my life. It was served in what looked like an uncooked tortilla; smooth exterior. It was sturdy enough to hold everything and it didn't disintegrate. The chicken was cooked perfectly (not overcooked like many middle eastern places) and very flavorful. The ceasar dressing is home made and the crunchy little falafel crouton bits took it to a whole different level. It was served with a side of slightly spiced up ceasar dressing, though the wrap didn't need it. The service is as good as you can expect from a window opening. The owner was very friendly and outgoing. This place basically has a picnic table on the front sidewalk, so there's no ambiance to speak of. With food this good, it doesn't matter. That said, at this point their business has achieved a level of success and they should move into a facility that's on the same par as their food. A wrap and a canned soda cost $23, so it's not a cheap eat, but nothing will keep me away from coming back. A side note; their food is available at the Neighborly food hall in Thousand Oaks. It was good, but not as good as the real deal!

This place been blowing up on social media so finally checked out this weekend. Online ordering process is very easy and food was ready in 30 minutes. Small place and only a couple of tables outside which was full by the time we arrived (Sunday noonish) so we took food to go. We got two Caesar chicken wraps which totally deserve all the rave reviews. Husband said it's the BEST Caesar wrap he's ever had. Make sure you get extra spicy sauce on the side which took it to another level. It has a hint of smokiness which is different from any other wraps. Also love you can taste the spices and flavors from the chicken and crunchy bits. Really nothing more you can ask for. Will be back to try the plates which seem to be very popular too! Besides, the staff (owner?) was so friendly and easy to talk to, and seems to remember all the regulars. What a lovely place!

4 kinds of kebab . All tasty and perfectly cooked .

Located on a side street below the Glendale galleria this cafe is a hidden gem! Sparse street parking and a walk Up window for service . Overwhelming aromas emit here and owner chef is the man to see. Ordered catering trays for my wife's birthday . Chicken, beef, lule kebabs and lamb chops were freshly cooked and ready on time. Fresh hummus and rice with plenty of lavash bread were all great with big taste. Great value still exists with places like mini kebab ....bravo!

I've heard amazing reviews from Mini Kabob and it's all true. Mini Kabob is a casual Armenian takeout spot in Glendale, minutes from the Americana and Galleria. Pro-tip: order online ahead and pick up. If you do, walk up and order, the staff are very accommodating and let you know the estimated wait time. On a weekend it was around 30 minutes, which was fine. As for the food itself, the kabob plates are huge and the meats are super tender. This time I ordered the chicken wrap and I loved how the chicken was perfectly seasoned and the initial bite was pure perfection. They paired the chipotle aioli sauce with the crunchy crouton bits too. Highly recommend checking this spot out in Glendale!

If you're looking for more than just a meal--if you want to actually *feel* something when you dine--please don't miss Mini Kabob. This is a true family-owned restaurant, and you can feel that the second you walk in. The owners are right there, welcoming you with genuine smiles, kindness, and a warmth that's so rare these days. It doesn't feel like a transaction--it feels like you've been invited into their home. And then the food arrives... and it tells the rest of the story. Every plate is made with care, tradition, and pride. The chicken is unbelievably juicy, the beef is rich and perfectly seasoned, and that garlic sauce? You'll be thinking about it long after you leave. Nothing feels rushed, nothing feels generic--everything tastes like it was made just for you. But what truly stays with you isn't just the flavor--it's how they make you feel. They treat every customer like family. They want you to enjoy, to be satisfied, to come back--not because they need business, but because they genuinely care. In a world where so many places feel cold and commercial, Mini Kabob stands out in the most beautiful way. It's honest food, made by honest people, served with heart. You don't just leave full--you leave happy.

I've heard a lot of good things about Mini Kabob and I am happy to say that it absolutely lives up to the hype. This was by far the most tender kabob I have ever had. Both the beef and chicken thigh were melt in your mouth tender. The lavash bread was also phenomenal! It was paper thin but also had the perfect texture and flavor. We will definitely be back soon.

Combo Plate: pork, chicken thighs, chicken lule. Every single thing on the plate is delicious!

Mini Kabob in Glendale (OG location) for our family is easily the BEST Armenian kabob restaurant in the area and beyond. We been to all of the top kabob spots in the city. Mini Kabob wins! They are just so good and sincerely unbeatable. Top quality food. Tons of ACCOLADES from respected sources, if you are into that kind of thing. Recently rated one of the top best 100 restaurants in Los Angeles by LA Times. No words, food is just so ridiculously delicious! The hospitality is top notch. Armen and his parents are just lovely people. It is takeout only with a small communal table out in front of the restaurant. No frills. In terms of food, this is the BEST Kabob restaurant in Glendale! You're not here for the ambiance! Again BEST KABOBS in Glendale, CA. Cash and credit card accepted. Downside is parking is limited in the residential area where they are located.

This family-owned restaurant was such a special experience. We ordered out of the side door, seeing a family of sons and their mom preparing all of the food. The beef lule kabobs were packed with flavor and very juicy. The rice was great and it came with roasted tomato and jalapeño, and a great side of hummus. There is some outdoor seating but none inside. There is plenty of street parking to choose from, but no parking lot dedicated to the restaurant. If you want to try kabob made with love, come try this family restaurant out in Glendale.

I've been a fan for a long time but haven't had time to review until years later. I don't live close, but not too far either, and that is probably why I come here less often than I wish to. Tried everything, including the Caesar Wrap that everyone is crazy about. The owner told us that making this Caesar Wrap is not working too well with his main kabob in his small kitchen, and that is why he is limiting the number of orders by taking pre-orders online the day before. He also said this will continue for a maximum of a couple more months and stop. I totally get it, though. The Caesar wrap was pretty good. For the price, I think it's big enough for 2 people. I could barely eat half of mine. However, I'd rather eat his chicken kabob. His chicken kabob is so juicy, tender, and flavorful. I love it! With the garlic sauce and lavash bread (not pita!), it's the best thing ever. But then chicken by itself is so damn good too. I think my favorite has to be chicken lule if I had to choose! There's only one patio table outside, so most people take out. Parking is pretty difficult since it is a narrow residential street. I recommend parking on Central and walking. Also try the pear soda if you haven't yet. You can get these at other Armenian restaurants as well, like Mideast Tacos in Silverlake. It is pretty sweet, but it is always fun to try something new!

After all these years, I'm embarrassed to say it was my first time to Mini Kabob and holy shit . . . This place is magic. As a Western Armenian, (Armenian parents from Lebanon and Syria) I am super picky with anything Armenian/Middle Eastern related - kebab, hummus, mezze, everything. I rarely go eat Armenian food because so little matches what's made at home. Mini Kabob does exactly that and more. Armen introduced a new Cesar wrap a couple weeks ago that goes on sale Monday at 7:00pm for pick up Thursdays. Last week he sold out about 100 in 90 seconds. This week 200 in half the time. And it's worth it. The Cesar Wrap ($23) uses the juiciest softest chicken thighs, homemade Caesar dressing mixed with his own toum (garlic paste), fresh romaine, and Egyptian falafel croutons fried in beef tallow. Toasted in a soft tortilla with a side of spicy Aleppo sauce. This is insane. Since it was my first time I also ordered some plates. Both come with outstanding rice and the best hummus I've had outside of my home. I never eat hummus unless my mom makes it and this is the new replacement should I ever not have my mom's around. The beef lule plate ($27) comes grilled just right and so juicy and soft. The chicken and beef shish combo plate ($36) has some of the most tender and soft chicken and beef kebab you'll ever eat. The beef just tears apart like nothing and has so much seasoning with a good kick. While that chicken is soft as butter with a creamy and rich marinade. Don't ever hesitate to stop by!! But make sure to order ahead, they are constantly busy and always have a wait! Armen is one of the nicest guys out there and makes the experience that much better.

What We Ordered: Chicken Thigh $21 Beef Lule $23 Armenian Pear Soda $5 I've heard great things about Mini Kabob from friends, and I finally made it! Everything is made fresh to order. I wasn't sure what to get, so I spoke with the owner, who made some recommendations. I couldn't decide, so I asked him to cook whatever he thought I'd like. I received the chicken thigh, served with rice, grilled jalapeño, tomato, onion, parsley, hummus, and lavash. The chicken thigh was incredibly tender and out of this world delicious! My friend ordered another popular dish which was the Beef Lule. I tried a piece and it was also excellent, but I like the Chicken thigh the best. This restaurant has no bathroom or indoor seating. There's a picnic table outside, but seating is limited. Located in a residential area, parking can be difficult. Be sure to plan accordingly, as there are no restrooms on site; my friend had to leave to find a nearby coffee shop. Armen, the owner, is incredibly hospitable and makes you feel like family. I will definitely return. Pro Tip: Order ahead to avoid a long wait, and be prepared to eat your meal in the car or elsewhere, as seating is very limited.

Always tasty and decently priced compared to other kabob places like Raffi's or Shamshiri. It looks like the son took over recently. If you're in the area, give Minj Kabob a try! It's just a couple blocks walking distance from the Glendale Galleria/Americana. I also like their garlic sauce which tastes different but just as good as Zankou's. It's a bit more subtle and creamier.

Started following their Instagram since June.. waited for the chance to order the infamous Cesar Wrap. Was unsuccessful every release until we were finally able to snag one recently! Chicken was juicy and full of smokey flavor. Nice texture from the falafel crunch and lettuce! We actually preferred the Chicken Combo plate-- the best Mediterranean plate I had. Tight space (more like an order counter) but friendly and thoughtful owners. Thank you Mini Kabob!

Is everything in styrofoam?

Yes

I love Mediterranean food, but have a nightshade allergy. I'm allergic to tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant, and peppers, including red pepper spices such as cayenne, paprika, and chili powder. Is there anything that might be safe for me to enjoy?

Do you deliver for catering?

We don’t offer delivery for catering. We typically try to be as accommodating as possible. Many people call an Uber to pick up the food for them to be dropped off. Many probable solutions, just one that makes sense with each order.

Hi! Looking to cater for 6 people- do you offer a pre set menu per person that includes variety of proteins/ rice/ tomato/ pepper or do we order individual items?

Hey, we offer catering. Nothing is pre set. We fix to your preference. Give us a call and we can coordinate!

Hey! We’re open now. We were closed for remodel but officially back open. Our hours are Tuesday-Sunday 11am-6pm

Hi! Do you take catering orders? If so how far in advance works I need to order? Thank you!

Hey! We take catering orders everyday. Depending on size and the amount we’d appreciate at least 2-3 day notice. You can lock it down as early as you please though.

What type of payments do you accept?

Hey! We do cash only art the store and accept CC via Grubhub

Are you guys open for take out or delivery?

Yes we are! Both phone in and take out through grubhub and Postmates

It's not your typical plain rice--it tastes like jasmine rice, and when you combine it with their sauce, mac & cheese, tenders, coleslaw, and pickles, it all just works really well together. The sandwich is also really good. The bread is soft, so it's easy to eat and doesn't feel heavy. I've ordered the Hangry Fix and the Classics 3 both times, tried mild, and medium. I think I'll stick with mild definitely has a kick. Compared to Dave's, I'd say their medium feels closer to a "hot" level. Their sauce is another highlight--way better than Raising Cane's in my opinion, and a bit closer to Dave's style but still its own thing. Price-wise, it's not bad at all, especially compared to Howlin' Ray's. I don't get to have this often since I only go when I'm in Los Angeles, but it's definitely a must every time I'm there. Outdoor patio seating is great, and reminds of eating outdoors in a European cafe. Indoor seating is a little cramped if you're at one of the tables, which also sort of mimics European cafes. My one small knock on this restaurant is the service has been inconsistent. Couple times our waiter was great, but a couple times it was hard to flag them down, they didn't space out the dishes very well as the appetizers and entrees all came out the same time, or they forgot to bring water when we asked for it. There is sometimes street parking but the availability is rough, it's tough to park, and even one of the meters we ended up at just didn't work. They only charge a $5 cash service charge though, which isn't bad. We were lucky to be seated right away, even in a packed restaurant. The restaurant has a surprisingly modern design, and is comfortable for as small as it is. We were quickly served their signature kimchis and barley rice. The kimchi, particularly the yeolmu (young summer radish) kimchi, has a unique flavor profile well suited to their food. We ordered 2 bowls of their plain kalgooksu, 1 bibim milmyun, and 1 tteokbokki. The food came out fairly quickly. The kalgooksu was as expected the star of the show. The anchovy broth brings a savory complexity that seems impossible for a soup made from just dried fish and a few other ingredients. It even has a rich, almost thick, quality to it that is surprising for a fish broth. Their noodles, the titular kalgooksu, have the signature irregularity and chew of knife cut noodles. I appreciate the vegetables that always come in kalgooksu, like potato, pumpkin, and zucchini, which offer an earthy heartiness to the light soup. My only complaint is that the potato is in huge irregular chunks, and is barely cooked, though I feel like I have had this issue with many of the kalgooksu bowls I've had over the years. The bibim milmyun was solid. I think that I prefer the texture and flavor of naengmyeon buckwheat noodles, but the milmyun, which are made with mostly wheat flour, still provide a satisfying chew. The sauce tasted bright and fresh, especially with a splash of added vinegar. It also came with a small side portion of spicy pork and some rice paper to wrap. The tteokbokki was the one let down of the meal. To be fair, I wasn't expecting much out of tteokbokki at all restaurant like this whose specialty is essentially the opposite. I ordered the tteokbokki as a "safe pick" for a picky eater in the group. It turned out to be a bit mediocre in our opinion, and that friend ended up enjoying their kalgooksu anyways. If you're looking to try this dish, it's definitely one of if not the best I've had in Southern California, so I'd totally recommend it. I'll also warn to steer clear of the Garden Grove restaurant of the same name and specialty. I think it's a disappointing mimicry of this place.
