Half of the Lebanese Style Cheese French Baguette
    Mal C.

Family-owned, A La Beirut delivers some fresh and delicious food, with thoughtful and warm hospitality. Following the advice of my fellow Yelpers, I got the Beef Tongue French Baguette sandwich. The beef tongue was tender, and the sandwich had a great mix of flavors (black and Aleppo pepper, pickles, fresh mint, lemon juice, garlic paste). The bread had the right pressed crunch and ratio to its fillings. The Falafel Wrap (falafel, lettuce, parsley, mint, pickles, turnip, radish, tomato, Tahini sauce) was another standout dish! The falafels are perfect! The Lebanese Style Cheese French Baguette (cheese, Aleppo pepper, dry mint, olive oil, black olives, tomato, cucumber) was subtler in flavor. We added some Fattoush on top and that took it to the next level for us! The Fattoush is really a rock star salad with an explosion of flavors and textures. The pomegranate, lemon, sumac, and fresh mint work so well together and light up all parts of the palate. The Foul Moudammas was served piping hot with a side of pita, mint, pickled and fresh vegetables. Putting the sides on top of the dish--especially the white onions and mint completely transform and elevate the taste of the fava bean stew. Can't go wrong at A La Beirut! We'll be back soon.

We're back at our favorite Lebanese eatery, enjoying our go-to homemade favorites. We're sharing a fattoush salad -- consistently tasty and oh-so fresh -- and a falafel plate, crispy and fried to perfection, with all the fixings to build several satisfying sandwiches. Absolutely delectable and delicious. Run - don't walk- to this family owned gem of a restaurant!

An excellent spot for Lebanese sandwiches, burgers, and wraps! I ordered the Rosto sandwich which had plenty of tender beef mixed with crispy lettuce, tomato, and pickles. The bread was crispy and warm and they pressed it to give that panini feel. It's an excellent sandwich for lunch. They use fresh ingredients here and are family owned which is great. Service was friendly and they were very welcoming when I walked in. There's some tables available for seating if you want to enjoy your food there and they also have a little section with imported candies and ingredients. If you enjoy Lebanese food, definitely come give this spot a try!

    Beef tongue on a baguette.

The place is located at the local Plaza. The place seems to pay the bills with takeout but it has a decent interior for a sit down and showcases some Lebanese shows. It does offer a few Lebanese snacks on the side that you can add to your order. The place is family owned and does have a few local Lebanese regular. Cook time and service are pretty quick and the cook and staff are pretty good at explaining certain dishes. Tried beef tongue for the first time in Lebanese sandwich form with a side of mutabal. Not bad really. It was like a savory pate and it felt dense. Definitely a good place to get foreign food while getting dat protein.

I keep coming back again and again, this place has a special place in my heart and the owners are incredibly great people working hand by hand as one family which they are, coming back to my post . A LA Beirut's new grape leaves are an absolute delight--bursting with rich Mediterranean flavor and wrapped to perfection. Each tender vine leaf is stuffed with a savory blend of rice, herbs, and spices that melt in your mouth with every bite. Light, tangy, and incredibly satisfying, they're the perfect addition to the menu and a must-try for anyone craving authentic Lebanese taste. Oouuffff this was a game changer love it !!!!!

Beef Tongue Baguette Sandwich! They panini press it for extra crispy goodness

I enjoy Lebanese food a lot and wanted to venture into sandwiches for a unique weekend lunch. Saw that A La Beirut was highly rated. Enjoyed the beef tongue and Lebanese style hamburger. Both were great! I especially liked the beef tongue because the meat was tender, tangy from the garlic sauce & pickles, fresh from the mint, and the bread oh so crispy and warm. Solid sandwich!! Lebanese burger comes with a sesame seed bun, fries, angus patty, cabbage slaw, pickles, ketchup and mustard. Homemade augus patty. Fresh ingredients and a local family owned business. If you enjoy Lebanese/Armenian/Mediterranean/Greek/Turkish flavors already - give this spot a try :)

The filling of rice and ground beef is soft. The eggplant is much softer. They are cooked in a tomato sauce and served with a cool creamy yogurt. Babaganouj: This mezze is a roasted eggplant dip. The eggplant is mashed with tahini and lemon juice for a smoky and slightly bitter flavor. It's smooth, creamy, and a bit chunky. Parking: There's a little lot to the side. Someone I know experienced a gluten exposure after eating here and became very ill. Because she is currently pregnant, this has been especially concerning and has added complications to what is now considered a higher-risk pregnancy. Many people do not realize that celiac disease is not a preference or minor sensitivity; it is a serious autoimmune condition, and even small amounts of gluten can cause substantial internal damage and serious health risks. We let the waiter know it was our first time trying Lebanese food and he went through the whole menu with us, which was extremely helpful. I love rose flavored drinks and desserts, so I was excited to try the jallab recommended by the waiter; it's now probably in the top 5 drinks I've ever had. The grape leaves and babaganoush were a must for us, since we wanted to try dishes that were different from what we have tried before. The grape leaves were herby and hearty, and the babaganoush was flavorful without the tang of a hummus, which I enjoyed. The fried cauliflower was crispy and hot with a creamy sauce that paired well. We liked the tenderloin kabobs a bit more than the chicken since it was juicer and more flavored. The interior is bright and airy, complimenting the hot afternoon perfectly. Their arayes are a must -- it's basically like a lahmajun with two pieces pressed together, and it's insanely good. I usually go all in and order the tabbouleh, babaganoush, a pound of lula kebab, and shish kebab. Honestly, if you're with 2+ people (or even just really hungry), ordering by the pound with sides is way better value than getting individual plates. You get more variety and it just feels like the right way to eat here. Every now and then I'll switch it up and get the liver plate -- it comes with tons of greens and onions, and when you wrap everything in their fresh pita, it's incredible. Not an everyday order, but when you're in the mood for it, it hits. If you dine in, the indoor decor is super nice and really gives that authentic Mediterranean vibe. They also play a lot of 90s music, which somehow fits perfectly and adds to the whole experience. I've dined in plenty of times and the service is always solid -- staff is friendly and attentive. Just a heads up, food can take a little longer sometimes, but that's because they're always busy and everything is made fresh, so it's worth the wait. I've also done takeout here more times than I can count -- probably over 100 orders at this point -- which says everything. This is easily one of my go-to spots and I keep coming back for a reason.

From the moment we arrived, the vibe felt off. The host who seated us (who later turned out to also be a server) left us at the table, and no one approached us for about 10 minutes. When a server finally came over, the first thing she said was "Ready? Ready?", no greeting, no welcome, nothing. We were never brought water. I had to ask a busser for it because the server walked past our table multiple times, clearly saw us, and chose to ignore us. The food runner was also rude, he dropped the plates on the table without saying a single word. Throughout the entire meal, no one checked on us. No "How is everything?" No "Do you need anything?" Nothing at all. Meanwhile, we noticed that nearby tables were being greeted, checked on, and treated kindly. When we asked for the check, the server literally threw it on the table without saying a word. The experience was so bad that we decided not to leave a tip; Something we never do, especially since we truly value good service and I personally work in the restaurant industry. I don't know if the treatment had anything to do with how we looked or how we were dressed, but I've never felt so ignored and uncomfortable in a restaurant before. The food may be fine, but the service completely ruins the experience. I would not return or recommend this place.
