Super flavorful! The baguette itself was crisp but soft and coated with garlic sauce and garnished with juicy pickle slices!! Very great quality. The manti was crisp and buttery! They were stuffed with a fragrant spiced minced beef and the garlicky yogurt really brought it together with sumac!! I paired it with a pineapple Bonjus and also a minty yogurt drink. I am so happy they're here and so close to home as well. I can't wait to go back and try out more items. I hope they continue to thrive!! We really wanted to love this place but sadly it just didn't live up to the hype or expectation. Stopped by on a weekday around 1pm and ordered three wraps. The place is pretty small and hard to navigate around the seating. The best and our favorite of the three wraps was the tongue wrap. This was seriously outstanding and one of the best I've had. It was juicy, lemony, cooked well and flavorful. After that, things went downhill. The vegetable wrap was greasy, almost slimey, and falling apart. The vegetables were all soggy and there wasn't much flavor. The chicken shawarma panini was the biggest disappointment. This was so salty and had a bad taste like the chicken was rancid. It was dry and just not good at all. On the way out we spoke to the owner and mentioned how salty it was, to which he said he knows about it and people complain about it often. Family-owned, A La Beirut delivers some fresh and delicious food, with thoughtful and warm hospitality. Following the advice of my fellow Yelpers, I got the Beef Tongue French Baguette sandwich. The beef tongue was tender, and the sandwich had a great mix of flavors (black and Aleppo pepper, pickles, fresh mint, lemon juice, garlic paste). The bread had the right pressed crunch and ratio to its fillings. The Falafel Wrap (falafel, lettuce, parsley, mint, pickles, turnip, radish, tomato, Tahini sauce) was another standout dish! The falafels are perfect! The Lebanese Style Cheese French Baguette (cheese, Aleppo pepper, dry mint, olive oil, black olives, tomato, cucumber) was subtler in flavor. We added some Fattoush on top and that took it to the next level for us! The Fattoush is really a rock star salad with an explosion of flavors and textures. The pomegranate, lemon, sumac, and fresh mint work so well together and light up all parts of the palate. The Foul Moudammas was served piping hot with a side of pita, mint, pickled and fresh vegetables. Putting the sides on top of the dish--especially the white onions and mint completely transform and elevate the taste of the fava bean stew. Can't go wrong at A La Beirut! If this restaurant continues the way they serve their food, it will be shut down in no time. I ordered a Shawerma sandwich. First off, it was extremely hot to the point of my tongue and palate being burned. Secondly, the tahini sauce was extremely sour and lemony, and third the flavoring of "Shawerma" was not there. I also ordered a chicken sandwich. A disaster as well. The chunks of chicken were HUGE and haphazardly cut, the tahini sauce very acidic, no garlic flavor and on top of it the sandwich was FULL OF FRENCH FRIES. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. read more

I wanted to buy a container of cookies and then use the restroom, but a young man at the counter told me there's a "no public restrooms" sign on the entrance. I was confused -- I was already preparing to purchase a package of cookies, but he seemed to conflate that with someone wanting to pay a dollar just to use the restroom, and kept insisting I go to Target instead. I've been a regular customer here, and the food and service are usually great, but this interaction was disappointing, condescending, aggressive, and presumptuous. I hope this young man learns to treat customers with more respect. I understand and appreciate the need for policies that keep a shop running smoothly -- but if the restroom policy requires a minimum purchase, that should be clearly posted, not assumed or enforced arbitrarily. I was hoping that I had come across a gem but sadly, I did not. A lover of Lebanese cuisine most items we tried seemed very fast foody. The hummus tasted like straight tahini, canned and just lacking any other flavor content. The taboulie, in my opinion could have used slightly more bulgar, however it was full of citrus flavor which gave you a refreshingly tart kick that I appreciated. The beef shawarma was something I really looked forward to but tasted very basic. It had too many components and not enough flavor, still. The pita was nice and crunchy on the outside, but not wrapped well to accompany the wetness of some of the ingredients. I will give more items a try in the future and maybe I'll find something that will remind me of my childhood and love for this cuisine. read more

An excellent spot for Lebanese sandwiches, burgers, and wraps! I ordered the Rosto sandwich which had plenty of tender beef mixed with crispy lettuce, tomato, and pickles. The bread was crispy and warm and they pressed it to give that panini feel. It's an excellent sandwich for lunch. They use fresh ingredients here and are family owned which is great. Service was friendly and they were very welcoming when I walked in. There's some tables available for seating if you want to enjoy your food there and they also have a little section with imported candies and ingredients. The place is located at the local Plaza. The place seems to pay the bills with takeout but it has a decent interior for a sit down and showcases some Lebanese shows. It does offer a few Lebanese snacks on the side that you can add to your order. The place is family owned and does have a few local Lebanese regular. Cook time and service are pretty quick and the cook and staff are pretty good at explaining certain dishes. Tried beef tongue for the first time in Lebanese sandwich form with a side of mutabal. I've only ever had the beef tongue sandwich from here 6-7 times, but it's one of the best things I've ever eaten. Totally worth the hype. The employees are always very friendly. This place is delicious! I tried the cheese sandwich and my husband tried the falafel pita and we devoured our Hummus . The Superjus drink reminded me of boings from Mexico and my childhood.
