I literally drove 17 minutes out of my way because the google reviews said 4.7, and I am 100% confused on how and why. The wait is so long, and it wasn't even that many of us. However, the workers in the back were focused on other tasks than the customers and quoting TikTok viral quotes. I couldn't believe that they kept leaving the one lady at the front to take orders and make everything! Surely the trash could've waited. I don't like when they're working on other orders, and ask what you want at the same time. 9 times out of 10, you'll have to repeat or correct them when it finally becomes your turn/ that's happened to me. With multiple items on my wrap. The toppings needed to be replenished, and the counter and tools could've been replaced or kept better. I don't get mikes way, so I don't want the residue of it on my items. Floors had spills and whatnot, just doesn't make sense. Anyway, I ordered the club sub on a wheat wrap. Ehhh I've been here 2 times so far the first time was nice visit because the guy helped then the second time there was a long ass line and one employee that had been backed up in orders and the other employees weren't helping the guy. Tbh it seems like this Jersey mikes has lazy employees because nobody in there works they all go the back and laugh and giggle keke about random stuff then help out the customers. I would understand if it was empty no customers but when there's a long ass like and they're all in the back not helping the other employee cause there was one it was diabolical as it is. It's really ridiculous to think about mainly cause there was like 5-6 employees but they were all in the back didn't help the guy in-front. Not to mention there was a guy with hickies who was showing off his neck that itself I was like thinking internally that was so uncomfortable to look at mainly cause he didn't even bother for hide it. I truthfully think the manager like store manager or anyone from Jersey mikes should come and visit unexpectedly without advising the employees so they can see first hand. Came here yesterday during a lunch rush. I did not appreciate the fact that the 2 employees were doing nothing to acknowledge the long line of customers waiting to place orders. I could see that they had quite a few online orders to catch up on, but they should have been letting in store customers know they would be right with them, sorry for the wait, etc. at the very least. I waited about 30 mins just to place my order and even then I was not addressed by the worker, I just had to slide my order in there when he finally looked up or I would have been waiting forever since they only seemed focused on the online orders. Grace and Brendan were the two team members working, and they were in the middle of preparing that order when we walked in. Even under that pressure, they stayed efficient, organized, and professional. What stood out most was how they managed the large order without losing awareness of the rest of the customers, acknowledging each person as they came in and keeping the line moving. Their communication with each other and with customers was clear, respectful, and upbeat. They showed excellent teamwork, time management, and customer focus, handling a high-demand moment without letting service slip. If I had my own business, I'd hire both of them without hesitation. I can't even begin to express how incredible the customer service is at this location! I just got off of the train from San Diego and was hungry for a solid sub and I knew jersey mikes would deliver! Walking in, the store was clean, vibrant and had great music playing. The type of environment you want to find yourself in on a Friday afternoon. The number 7 will always hit the spot, but let me tell you what stood out about this visit. The employees Skye and Jonathan really made my sandwich trip noteworthy. I am a regular at Jersey Mike's. Their sandwiches are great. This is the first time I've visited this branch at the Americana in Glendale. I placed my order for curbside delivery. I drove around the very long block two times looking for a space. There was none. So I turned right into the driveway for the restaurant parking. I had to pay $5 for parking and they wouldn't validate the parking. There's no excuse for that and without notice of that potential problem. As far as I'm concerned they owe me $5. I won't be back to that Jersey Mikes! They apparently did not consider that when they selected that location. An obvious problem. read more

The food was fine, the dude working there did seem like I was bothering him by existing, lol. But honestly, the place is a mess. The machines are not clean, there's crumbs and meat flecks everywhere. He barely cleaned the cutting board before assembling my sandwich on it. I was pretty grossed out but he was already making my sandwich and I didn't have the balls to cancel my order. I can't imagine the last time they cleaned the meat slicer, it looks disgusting. Ok now I realize he left a few items off of my sandwich as I was distracted with the state of the store. Which I understand, I've worked in hospitality during my college years. So I understand how overwhelming it might be at times. I walked in midday wanting to order a sandwich. The guy taking my order seemed annoyed I was even there placing an order. I ignored it and continued adding to my order (which was already a red flag) The guy who charged me at the cash wrap didn't replace his gloves after cutting my sandwich in half. This review is for a visit on 2/21/25 around 7:20pm. I ordered a sandwich online and came to the store shortly after placing the order. While waiting, three young men were working behind the counter. They were completely unorganized, obnoxiously loud and fumbling around. Several orders placed by others had been messed up as they weren't following instruction well and were too busy goofing off. This review is for the extremely rude employee at this Glendale jersey mikes location. I was beyond dissatisfied by the employee and also the sanitation of the store. I walked into the store at 8:38 pm on 01/08/2025 with plenty of time to place an order before the stores closing hours which is 9 pm. The sign still said open and there wasn't anyone besides me and a friend in the store. Automatically the employee had a bad attitude and impression on his face once we walked in. As I started placing the order he got frustrated at me for ordering 8 regular sized sandwiches that I already had written down to make it easy and quick. He stopped me in the middle of my order and said this is going to take 25 minutes to make and next time call to place the order if it's a big order. First and foremost, the store is still within operating hours,second it doesn't matter if it's only one sandwich or ten, he has no right to try and refuse taking my order and trying to convince me to not place the order by telling me it will take time to make it. At that point I let him know that it's not my first encounter and that I know as a customer I'm suppose to be served even if I had walked in a minute before 9 pm. He took my order and after all that unnecessary attitude the 8 sandwiches were done by 9:02 pm. I normally wouldn't write a bad review but, that was not acceptable considering I had walked in on time and had my order ready. I hope employees who get hired for these positions get more training on how to respect customers as much as create their food. Love Jersey Mike's & love this location! The staff is always super friendly & helpful. The only downside is trying to get curbside pickup. If the power-hungry parking people are out, they'll try to ticket you while waiting 10 seconds. Not the restaurant's fault! On my visit on 3/13, I received the most amazing service. The District Manager, RJ, was in. He raises the bar on customer service & is in a category all his own. He totally made my day & fueled my week with much-needed Monday smiles. Thank you, RJ! I really enjoy the sandwiches here, which have always been excellent. I'm leaving a three-star review because you don't know if you will get a sandwich when you come in. I came in a few months ago and both me and another woman were told it would be 15-20 minutes before they could get to our order. The workers were in the middle of making a huge take-out order, and would not find time for our single sandwich orders even though we had taken the time to physically come in! The woman and I both made our way around corner to Mendocino Farms instead, so it worked out. But I think perhaps this policy should change to give more priority to people who visit the store in person. read more

My wife and I came in at near closing time, but the staff were still welcoming and very helpful.  I ordered my staple, Number 17, Mike's Famous Philly and it is as I wanted, and much the same as I get in other Jersey Mike's locations.  I had them cut the sandwich into 3 and I was accommodated of my request.  My wife doesn't have the same size gullet as I do, so a third of the sub is good for her... The store is very clean and well lit.  I came in and was greeted immediately upon entry. Pandemic precautions were in place - masks required for entry, social distancing, hand sanitizer available, and the staff were masked and gloved as well. You might think that all the locations of Jersey Mike's are alike because their menu is the same. But I've been to several of them and there is one big difference - the staff. The Americana location on Brand is a step above some of the others. The people are friendly, efficient, patient and kind. They don't act like making a sandwich on gluten free bread is a big ordeal because they have to put on gloves and keep the bread away from the cutting board where wheat bread is cut. They simply make the sandwich and are always nice about it. I have had staff at other locations hassle me about my order, make sloppy sandwiches and basically act like I was unwelcome. But the people at the Americana location have such a good attitude that I only go there now. I really like Jersey Mike's food and I'm glad to have such a good one in my neighborhood. read more

Tried Jersey Mike's for the first time this year and have been coming back for more at least minimum twice a month. Love your Mike's style option and just all the other options that are available. The store is always clean and super fast service. You guys actually care for customers not to wait for more than 5 mins when placing an order. Extremely disappointed in this jersey mikes location. Walked into pure chaos, and disgust. The food counter where the sandwiches were being made were cross contaminated. Gloves were not changed when making a new sandwiches, ended up with a banana pepper in my food (which i hate). I understand that this is a busy location, but it seems like there are a lot of changes that need to be made. Very sad that I have to write such a bad review. I've had good experiences at other Jersey Mike's locations but mine at this location left me extremely disappointed. I ordered a #9 club supreme which is my usual order but the bread was very stale and dry. On top of that, there was a significantly less amount meat than I normally get and the lettuce was too soft and yellow (seemingly almost spoiled) leaving me with mouthfuls of stale bread. This specific location has been the only one to serve such subpar subs. I will not be coming back. read more
