Inside the Galleria food court is this new ish addition. A kebab shop that that does shawarma (on a rotating grill). There's chicken, pork and beef. I came here for the lavash wrap. It was a bit salty but tasty. You can have it loaded with onions, tomatoes, cilantro, peppers. I recommend it. If you like, you can get it filled with fries for $1 extra. That's how some Europeans eat it. Artie's also does a filled baked potato which you can't find elsewhere. The chicken tenders are the usual fare. Nothing to write home about. I was disappointed, the shawarma was dry, and the filling for the lavash did not have the bold flavor I was expecting, that I get from other Mediterranean restaurants . We had a very disappointing experience. They don't wear hand gloves handling food!! Kitchen is so dirty!! We had an allergic reaction to the food, and the staff refused to take it back or address the issue. The food quality was poor, and the service was extremely rude. Love the place. Ordered the chicken wings today with fries and drink. The wings are always large and tasty and fries are honestly awesome. Takes about 20 minutes to get your order but at least you know it is fresh and hasn't been sitting there for unknown time periods. Wish they were in other malls too. First timer here. They've got a lot of options here at parties. Tenders, sandwiches, I think I saw gyros and of course French fries. I don't understand anyone who don't go for the fries first I've met people who don't go for it first and they go for their let's say they get a burger then they get into their fries. Anyways I love them! They are shoestring and it was nice and crisp! I went to the tenders next and man it was so good! It was juicy and flavorful and it was descent sized too! I was struggling to finish the tenders but I did it haha My one gripe is that I wash the breading didn't fall out so fast like it came apart quickly after I picked it up but no biggie it was good anyways. I got the chicken shwarma pita, and it was delicious. The garlic sauce inside the pita doesn't taste like Zankou's thick blazing garlic sauce. The sauce inside the chicken pita tastes like the chipotle sauce of panera bread's breakfast sandwiches. They also offer jalepenos inside the pita, but don't worry they're not spicy, well for me at least. We were looking for something quick to eat at the mall and this place had the shortest line. We ordered two shawarma plates, one chicken pita wrap and one chicken and beef lavash wrap. The lavash wrap was B.O.M.B. I've had many skimpy shawarma wraps where I felt they were a penny too overpriced. This wrap has all the flavors of Middle East. They don't hold back on the protein, the salad is fresh, the bread is fresh and the sauce is very well spiced. The meats weren't dry or stale, they take it right off the rack and put it in the wrap. I ate at the new Galleria location twice and both times disappointed. The first time got a chicken pita wrap . Had a funny taste to it that you don't expect in a shawarma wrap. The price was about 10$ which was ok. The second time I got a beef lavash wrap , which was over 15$ and the guy taking the order said that the lavash wraps are bigger. The taste again was just mediocre and the lavash was actually the same size or smaller then the pita wrap. This wraps it up for me . They definitely need to find out what really goes in a shawarma wrap and the right sauces to give it the flavor. read more
