We ordered the fish and chips and the pot roast French dip. The menu says the French dip comes with a choice of chips or salad, but our server never asked us which we wanted. We assumed chips were the default since the choice was never mentioned. When our food arrived, we didn't have any silverware. We asked the person who dropped off our food for some, and he seemed genuinely confused by the request. It took a while for him to bring us rolled silverware that was apparently already ready to go. Again, no one checked on us, asked if we wanted another drink, dessert, or anything else. I eventually had to physically push my plate toward the edge of the bar and ask for the check before we got any acknowledgment. I honestly can't remember the last time I experienced service that was this consistently odd and nonexistent. And unfortunately, the food itself wasn't anything particularly memorable either.
