Sevan offers an extremely affordable, quick, and delicious dining experience! They have a small parking lot where you can snag a spot if you're lucky! They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor space has a ton of tables and is shaded with clean windows. Falafel Sandwich - Delicious! The falafels were moist and came smothered in a tasty sauce! It also had lettuce, tomatoes, and onions inside that added a fresh quality to the wrap. A super satisfying and filling meal! 1/2 side of Dolma - Comes with 6 pieces. Loved it! Prices are cheap, service is quick, and the food is delicious! Definitely coming back!

Sevan Chicken specializes in rotisserie chicken with a similar menu to Zankou Chicken (Armenian/Lebanese family mini-chain that is famous for their rotisserie chicken and middle-eastern fare), so it is hard not to compare the two. I really wanted to like this place, unfortunately the food cannot compare to Zankou's quality or their signature garlic sauce (toum). Sadly, Sevan Chicken doesn't have the same foot traffic as Zankou so the freshness of the food is not on par. Also, the GARLIC TOUM here at Sevan is HORRIBLE. Tasted like plain "Crisco shortening" with no hint of lemon or garlicky taste what so ever (gross!)... yes, the garlic sauce is everything when it comes to this style of rotisserie chicken. At best, the chicken is decent not great and the prices are inexpensive. Lunch/Dinner specials and Buy one or two- get one free deals are the main attraction.

First time here! We usually go to Seasoning Alley, but our friend recommended Sevan. Two of us got a whole chicken dinner with hummus. Hubby got a falafel sandwich that was great and I got the chicken sandwich. Next time I will get some extra tahini or garlic sauce, because the sandwich was a little dry, even with the mayo. It is a good value for the money and we will definitely be back.

Sevan Chicken Rotisserie was on DoorDash. And so, I ordered pickup from them. Service was quick and simple. I usually eat vegetarian food there... However, we're in a pandemic. I must eat stronger. I ordered a deconstructed shawarma, because even sandwiches can get soggy. It cost more because the plate or styrofoam container holds more... I wasn't upset because they gave me a choice of two sides and complimentary gourmet pickle vegetables. Maybe it's beets and/or turnips. Weird looking pickles, because it's not a cucumber, but it tasted good. Sevan Chicken specializes in chicken. The bulk of the menu is rotisserie chicken meals. However, I recommend others to explore... Have dinner with an exotic side instead of soup or salad. This is a local family owned business in Glendale, California. You'll definitely like it.

chicken comes with one garlic. you'll want another to eat on its own. :)

Chicken was extremely dry. Definitely not worth the price. Chicken soup was hot water with leftover pieces in it

I usually come right before the dinner time crowds so the restaurant is empty most of the time. Today I decided to try their protein bowl which is a menu item only offered during stated hours which i believe is 11am-4pm. The description of the dish sounded up my alley so i decided to give it a try. With the restaurant being empty, this bowl took longer than expected to arrive at my table. The server even said a light hearted joke about the time it took. No biggie to me, at least I know the meat will be piping hot. What arrived at my table was a pleasant surprise. Half brown rice, half kale Caesar salad with one skewer of shish kebab. As seen in the picture the bowl features a sole 3 pieces of beef, with onions and tomatoes between each piece. For the price of $17, I guess this is the standard for today's time. Oh well at least my late lunch will be on the healthier side as for portion size. But the real deal was the meat itself. Usually with beef kebab you tend to find places using filet or flap meat, a more tender cut. This is more enjoyable and packs better flavor. THIS on the other hand was definitely a tougher cut of meat maybe shoulder or top sirloin. I struggled really hard to cut it into pieces, and even harder to chew. After reading other recent reviews, this has been noticed by a decent number of patrons. Unfortunately with being able to find Mediterranean food readily easily in the city of Glendale, I will be more inclined to frequent other restaurants after this experience.

The lamb was gamey, packed with flavor. We enjoyed every bite and can't wait to try this place out again. We ordered takeout, food was ready on time, service was great. The Seasoning Alley Mediterranean restaurant in Montrose…read more showed promise but landed somewhere in the middle. Here are some impressions from our visit earlier today. The restaurant is a casual, clean spot and has a welcoming environment. Service was attentive and friendly. Our salad was fresh and delicious and the meal portions were large and plentiful. Good hearty sized plates but low on taste and quality. Unfortunately, the pita was one of many low points. The pita arrived cold and slightly stiff, not warm and soft as we'd hoped. It lacked the toasty, chewy texture that makes pita so comforting and effective for scooping up dips and bites. Another low point was that our rice was barely warm, almost cold. Not good. The worst part of our meal had to be the hummus. It was almost frozen and tasted as if it was just scooped out of the freezer. Terribly disappointing. Our Chicken Kabob had a tender interior with a nicely charred exterior. The spices and marinade showed potential, but the overall flavor profile didn't quite soar beyond the ordinary. Wouldn't call it standout, yet it wasn't bad. It was just barely okay. The falafel tasted fresh, but the exterior could have used a bit more crispness. Interior was moist enough, with chickpea flavor present, though it didn't leave a lasting impression. Our overall impressions were that our meals were just barely okay for a casual dinner, but it didn't move into the "great" category. We were disappointed. We expected better quality. For improvement, heating the pita and rice to perfection and dialing in the falafel crust would elevate the overall experience. A touch more depth in the chicken kabob seasoning or a signature sauce could help distinguish the dishes. If you're in the mood for a low-key Mediterranean option with reliable service, this spot is worth a try. It's a safe bet for an okay meal, with good service and good size portions for a casual night out with friends or family. Considering their prices, for repeat visits, I'd hope to see more consistency across staples like the rice, pita and falafel, and a bolder finish on the kebabs to push the overall rating from "good but not great" to "really good." Pita and rice arrived cold. The Falafel could have been crisper. Chicken kabob flavor could be more distinct. The Hummus was horrible. Next time, I'll pass on this place. Cheers!
