Amazing place. A "cant go wrong" when you're looking for clean, healthy, and a great priced restaurant. The atmosphere is clean and bright, very inviting. The staff is always friendly and accurate with the orders. I like my steaks medium to rare, and they alway make it just as i ordered. I always order the combo plates and then order extra order of each meat. The Beef Lule Combo plate - comes with 2 strips of Lule, Rice, seasoned fresh onions slices, grilled tomato and chili pepper Chicken Combo Plate - comes with about five pieces of chicken breast pieces, Rice and same sides. If you order just the meat (not combo), you'll get double the meat and sides. Basically the rice is being replaced with extra meat so if you don't care for rice, definitely get the Non-combo as the price is insanely cheap!! Been ordering from here for almost 30 yrs and they've managed to stay so consistent with their serving size & flavors. Also, their prices are insane! I can't understand how anyone wouldn't give this place an excellent rating. It's a take out or quick eating type of place, but there are more than enough seats to sit. The food is fantastic. The quality, taste, how the meat is prepared. The value is amazing and you will be full for hours. The combo kabob plate comes with a large beef and one chicken, a few grilled veggies, a large serving of rice, lavash, and 2 dips. Amazing value. There are also chicken or beef shish dishes, pork, and lamb. They do have nice salads to buy on the side, a large variety of amazing house made dips/sauces. They also sell marinated meat ready to grill at home, grill kits including charcoals etc, and some wonderful refreshing yogurt drinks to go with your meat. It blows my mind if you live within a short distance of this neighbourhood and you're choosing to eat fast food for the same amount of money (actually - more) and getting THIS. My husband's office is nearby, and I know he orders from here quite often, and on some days when I'm working with him, this is the place we'll eat lunch. We came here on a whim to feed our hungry girls before the LA Zoo. We ordered a chicken thigh plate and beef luleh. The beef was seasoned well and very easy to eat. The chicken thigh was very tender and juicy. The dishes were served with rice, grilled tomato, and onion with sumac as well as a thin lavash. I enjoyed the food very much. The chicken shish kebab was dry, and not much flavor. The pork ribs were decent. The ribeye steak was not the best. Considering that they state they use Harris Ranch, man I expected a great steak! Uneven cook on it too. I ordered a side onion, wth did they give me, a burnt onion?! Their sumac onions were not made right! Throwing some seasoning on some onions does not make it sumac onions! Things that were right? The roasted tomato, the roasted jalapeño. Possibly the hummus, as I quite liked the consistency and flavor. Wished the food was better. I don't understand their rating. Omg. There are no words! All I can say is I am so glad we live in Long Beach because otherwise I think I might live at this place and would never cook another meal again. We were picking up something from Facebook marketplace in Glendale at around 9 o'clock on Sunday and were super hungry but didn't want Taco Bell. I was so happy that I found this place which is open until 10:00 (so rare these days!) and even happier once we dug into our food! We ordered three vegan plates and a side of hummus, and everything was absolutely amazing and very large portions! I have no idea what they did to their beans, but I'm hoping I can find a recipe to replicate the delicious flavor and texture of them. I don't even know what kind of beans they were but they were HUGE and oh-so-tender and flavorful! All three of us had leftovers even though I feel like we gorged ourselves for 45 minutes straight. My husband and I have really been enjoying the leftovers for breakfast each morning. My only regrets are that I didn't get an extra vegan plate to go, and that I didn't buy a bag of their delicious lavash bread! I told my husband that we need to find an excuse to go to Glendale several times a year so that we can go to eat at The Kebab Factory! Thank you for filling our bellies and creating a new food addiction! Oh, and the prices were very affordable, which was very surprising for such fresh food and generous portions in this economy! The food here is pretty good. Portions are great. Only two gripes. One minor and one major. The minor is that there's no garlic sauce. The major is that they serve pork. Not sure how any Lamb or anything else can be considered halal if they are making pork chops and pork kabobs on the same grill and kitchen. I ordered two wraps and ended up waiting over 30-40 minutes and there was only a few people inside the restaurant. Looks like they're pretty popular with catering so I think they were mainly focused on prepping for that. However, people who came in to pickup their bulk order, they were waiting for a long time too. Asides from that, food was great. I ordered the beef and chicken mixed wrap and the beef sheesh kabob wrap. It came with two sauce which went well with the wraps. You'll need to either park at the back lot of the restaurant or if you're lucky, you'll find street parking! The restaurant is super clean with some tables to sit and eat. It wasn't too busy when I went so we found a table easily. The cashier was kind and welcoming. My boyfriend and I each ordered the chicken breast plate. The chicken was juicy, well seasoned, and had great grilled bbq flavor. The pieces they gave were thick too! They aren't the type of kabob restaurants to give skimpy small pieces. The rice was cooked perfectly and accompanied the chicken well. My favorite part of the meal was the charred jalepeno and tomatoes!! The smokiness of the jalepeno and the warm juiciness of the tomato tastes great. The onion brought a bright crisp component to the meal. I love that they give lavash for free as part of the meal, I like making a little "wrap" with the chicken breast, onion, and sauce. The sauces added such great flavor to the chicken. The orange sauce was spicy and the white sauce was a creamy garlic sauce. The price of the meal is affordable and satisfying!! Wow! What a great spot. I was looking for a healthy meal after the gym later in the evening and stopped by here and got the chicken luleh kebab plate. It was so delicious.
