The servers were attentive and great about refilling the salads and banchan. The egg souffle was tasty as well! The selection isn't huge but the meats were still good. closest ayce kbbq spot where i'm from! if you're a solo diner during happy hour its $21.99 for 4 servings of meat + a choice of either tofu soup or steamed egg love the staff, cuts of meats is decent, i'd say though the tofu soup could be better. i'm a normal customer here and my go-to order would be the pork belly w/ sauce (ask for salt on the side) + beef belly along w/ steamed egg. love how they give us one mini free scoop of ice cream. i also love that there's a lot of space. compared to most kbbqs, the tables here are big w/ lots of seating space. service is also great, again i love the staff read more

We stuck mostly to the beef, but we did also try the octopus and an order of pork ribs. Our favorite was hands down the marinated boneless short rib - unreal how tender the meat was. AYCE is about $35 for adults and $17 for kids 6 to 9. It was not overly crowded on a Saturday, so we were able to get in quickly at 7:30pm. Where do I start? Hubby walked in Thursday before Valentine's Day to make reservations for dinner. We get there a couple minutes early. At least 6 employees walked by us without a word. Finally the bus person approached and we said we had reservations at 6 for two people. Blank stare before he walks away. Huh?? Comes back and says there aren't tables do we want to eat at the bar. HUH?!! Round and round finally get a table 15 min later. ***** IMPORTANT: this place is so unbelievably LOUD with about 15 young children and a couple tables with super loud drunks being outrageously obnoxious. Tell our server we've never had Korean bbq but are looking forward to it and please explain how it works. She only tells us we can order 3 meats at a time. Ummmm ok....can I order the salad, rice, etc? Yes, she says and then asked what kind of soup? I said salad, and she answers "ohhhhh". Rice came out when we were nearly finished, salad came out with such huge pieces of lettuce you couldn't eat it and didn't arrive til half way through the meal. Scissors to cut meat were dull, and grill changed only after we had cooked all but one of our meats. We only put it in TWO orders of meat and I was so beyond PISSED OFF at this point that I wanted out never to return. We walked in on a weekday. Never been here before, so this is our first impression review. The place was large and it was not packed, which was a plus. Most Korean bbq locations have at least an hour wait. It's nice to walk in and be seated right away. The servers were really nice and food was coming out in a fast manner. Good selection of meats. Now you might ask: if all is good, why the 3 stars? Well this is where it gets a bit interesting. On the menu they have a selection of meat and sushi. My husband starts ordering tuna sushi. Each order comes with 2 pieces. That is my husband's favorite. So he tells the server, instead of going back and forth, can you please bring us an order of 10 pieces. The server says it's their policy to do one order at a time. We understood. So we started to ordering one at a time. After the 3rd order of sushi, the server starts arriving slower and slower. 5 minutes became 10 minutes, 10 minutes became 15 minutes. Mind you it was only 2 tables they are serving and we are the only one ordering sushi. The server tells us that the reason why our sushi is coming out slowly is because no one orders this small sushi and the sushi they have is a side, only which I'm not sure what that means. Is it not part of the all-you-can-eat menu? So anytime we ordered the sushi the server said it's difficult cutting the sushi. That is whats taking so long. Then they said the machine is closed, so we got the feeling that they are trying to cut us off from ordering sushi. If the sushi isn't all you can eat, why put it on the menu. They didn't charge us extra, but they do cut you off if you ordered too much, which was interesting. Not many all you can eat places come with dessert included, but they do. It comes in little to go cups with one scoop, but that's not all you can eat either. It's one per customer. Overall, the food is good, but they need to be more specific on the menu. We did feel awkward when they started cutting us off on certain things from the menu. Would we come back? I don't know, maybe not. It's too bad because we got a Korean barbecue all the time. Guys this pumps me up. I went to the one over in the Rowland heights area for the longest time. And it makes me happy that they have one in Glendale now. Date of visit: March 13, 2024 Selections: (Came at dinner time) - Brisket - Bulgogi - Beef Belly - Marinated Beef - Sliced Beef Short Rib - Salad - California Rolls Experience: Came here with another couple, so it became a spontaneous double date. My husband and I were pretty sure that we had come to this location before a while back, but never remembered the location. So it was a nice surprise when our friends had suggested this place for dinner after our meeting. We arrived at the restaurant a bit after 8:00pm. It took a bit for us to be seated since half of the tables were filled and a fourth of the tables still needed to be cleaned. Once seated, we found little side dishes, such as noodles, kimchi, and fish cakes, and a little foil container of cheese corn on top of the unlit grill. There were also chili sauce and a brisket type sauce containers set up for each of us. We immediately placed our meat orders and the server lit up our grill. We were able to put in four meat orders at a time and they were good about replacing our little water jug. My friend asked for salad for the table and two side orders of rice for our significant others. I was excited that they had a few sushi options to pick from, but we just stuck to California Rolls. I do like how quick we got meat to our table and extra orders of rice paper and refills on things. The meat quality was pretty good and we ate to our full without feeling too sick from eating about 4 rounds of meat between the four of us. My favorites were the brisket as well as the marinated beef. We kept calling the beef belly beef bacon instead amongst ourselves and it did crisp up nicely. I really liked having the fresh, crisp salad as an in between palate cleanser as we continued to eat dinner. I do wish the rice paper was a little bit more floppy, for lack of a better word, because some pieces ended up being a little dried out, but still good. We were told last call would be 9:45pm by one of the waiters, but it ended up being a little earlier than that but we were able to squeeze in our last round of brisket and beef belly. We were offered a little container of ice cream to end the meal that was complimentary and they were nice to not rush us as we finished our meal about 10:00pm, which was closing time for them. The restaurant appeared to be very clean and the wait staff were super attentive. We ordered the brisket, beef bulgogi, and the short-rib. The portion sizes were big and the meat did not come frozen. The meat was plated very nicely and we were blown away by how delicious everything was, especially the short rib! At the end of our meal, our waitress asked us if we wanted complimentary dessert (one scoop of ice cream per guest). She gave us an extra scoop of ice cream so that we could try an additional flavor! Hooray for the return of kbbq to the La Crescenta/Tujunga/La Canada area! This little kbbq joint is clean, reasonably priced, and has very kind and attentive staff. The meat offering is nice and varied~ It's not as much as other kbbq places in ktown, but I'm not complaining so long as we have an AYCE kbbq restaurant in this area. Also, the steamed egg is super fluffy and very pleasing to the eye! Lol! As far as we can see, they don't have their alcohol license yet, but it looks like they're in the works to get one. Tried this place for the first time last night and it was well worth the $35 for dinner. The food was good, especially the brisket it was good quality and they always gave us big amounts per serving unlike other spots that barely fill up a plate each round. Service was top notch as well, they were constantly checking in on us and helping whenever we needed anything. Noise level can get loud due to music and if it's a crowded night, but it's not too big of a deal as everyone is just there to eat and have a good time. Will for sure come back again! read more

The side dishes were decent as well! This place is AYCE so come hungry! They also have ice cream (matcha or vanilla), which I always love at kbbq! I used to love coming here for lunch, So we came again at 2 o'clock for lunch on a Sunday. On the menu it says lunch prices are 26.99 ( there is a weekday special for 19.99). They stay 11 to 4 is lunchtime. But then they told us it was 35 .99 which is the dinner price. When I pressed her that it's 2 o'clock and not dinner time she said they charge the dinner time price. But I pointed to the menu that said from 11 to 4 is lunchtime - she said that's only on holidays and today is a holiday - so i don't get special pricing on a holiday. I explained to her that Sunday - it is not a holiday. It's just Sunday. She said no Sunday is a holiday - weekends are a holiday. At that point, my kids were frustrated and just wanted to eat. So I went ahead and paid the dinner price at 2 o'clock. Part of the reason why we go for lunch, is we need to reduce price because we do not eat that much. So we stuffed ourselves trying to make the $36 per person and we left all feeling sick. And we actually only 4 orders of meat between all of us . One of the ladies , who was passed off to us because I was clearly irritated with being forced to concede today was a holiday and it was dinner time at 2- was very kind and tried to explain that she does know people get frustrated with this. I explained they shouldn't advertise a lunch price on their menu next to the dinner place because 2 o'clock and is not dinner time. 2 o'clock is not even dinner time for my parents who are in their 80s. So we won't be going back. It is too bad. I think that they could probably bring a lot more clients if they did have a good lunch price because that is a really good deal. but I cannot justify paying dinner prices at lunchtime for being told Sunday is a holiday to justify. Went to lunch here today and food and service are delicious! A few minutes after sitting down and ordering the waitress brought over a huge salad with many sides. There was kimchi, potato salad, cucumber salad, noodles, and more. We ordered prime beef brisket, marinated beef and chicken. Everything was delicious. They offer dips for your meat. So the meat comes pretty simple but once you add it to the dip, it cools it off and gives it great flavor. I will definitely be coming back. Bad service. We went there on a Sunday at 5:30pm. When our slow-moving waitress was putting the banchan items on the table, I asked if we could also get the miso/soybean paste. She snapped at me and said wait, let me do this first. The waitress had a frown on her face and rarely came by our table. She brought some sort of soup instead of the miso/soybean paste and insisted that it was soy bean paste. We also wanted extra napkins at one point and that took forever.
