    Beef brisket pho

Awesome hole in the wall with very hospital owners! it's a small restaurant but enough seating for groups. my friends and I came here ravenous after climbing and were immediately helped by the owner. The pho is very flavorful and not heavy at all. It was so fire clean broth. Not like viet pho (eg phoholic) but the owners are Korean so it's a bit less heavy broth but still tastes so good. My friends loved his ramen with the right amount of spice. All bowls were cleared

I had the pho vegetable and my mom had the beef rice bowl. We both liked our food and the serving was just enough to finish completely and still be full from. I do wish the pho vegetable came with tofu as some kind of protein substitute but the broth alone was delicious. Service was quick and friendly. There's a small shared parking lot for the plaza it's in so that's nice. The inside was very modern, clean, and cute.

So delicious! Took my dogs for a groom and stumbled upon this delicious place. Please try it! Their dumplings are made from scratch and the noodles are delicious Will be coming back

It's okay, nothing great nothing bad. A bit expensive for basic ramen in my opinion and the egg roll portion size is small but tasty. The Thai tea tasted a bit too syrupy. It's not an authentic tasting drink. Food was served fast and soup was served hot. Small parking lot in the small plaza.

    #19 Cold noodles. Excellent!!

We got there on 4th of July. We thought the place closed at 8:30pm but actually it was 7pm. We got there at 7:00pm. The owners could have told us that they were closed but instead they told us that we could sit and order food. So we ordered ramen. Rare beef Pho. I had the Korean cold noodle. My two friends really enjoyed their Pho. The ramen noodles apparently were also good. I loved my cold noodle #19. It was really tasty. My review is really about that since I didn't eat the other dishes. The soup was delicious. It was literally icy cold with small bits of ice in the soup. The cucumber and radish was very refreshing. The noodles were cut by scissors and it was chewy and delicious. It was a very refreshing dish. I'd order it again in a heartbeat, especially on a hot summer night. The store is clean and cozy. The parking can be tight since it's a small strip mall. But that doesn't take away from the quality and taste of the food. Worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood. The owners were funny and very nice. When I asked for the cold noodle, he asked me if I had it before. I told him I had eaten it before, at another restaurant. He told me that his was the best. And I have to admit, after my first bite; I had to agree. Very tasty.

I've been going here for many years and it's always the same amazing service and delicious comfort food! It's relaxing and quiet inside. I always recommend this restaurant.

I really liked it, but it was hard to find the bowl for the soy sauce, but I still love it and it was good.

Susuru Ramen Bar is a real neighborhood spot for ramen, and worth the walk and the drive! The Chicken Karaage is the perfect blend of moist and crispiness, and didn't feel heavy or oily. Some places serve chicken karaage over-breaded or drenched in oil, but not Susuru! The Mayu Ramen is really where it's at though. This pork-broth base ramen with black garlic oil surprisingly uses egg noodles, so it's a richer, different taste that certainly stands out. At the same time, no singular taste overwhelms the rest of the dish, and everything from the seasoned soft boiled egg to the perfectly charred chiashu work together in one harmonious feast. This is one ramen bowl that is literally good to the last drop!

Saw the high reviews so had to check it out. Susuru Ramen Bar is located on the corner of Hollywood Blvd and N Kingsley Dr. The lot is small sharing spaces with other restaurants so your best bet is street parking, which can also be tricky especially later in the day. The restaurant is small, with the register counter as the first thing you see walking through the door. There's bar seating against the wall, and 2-3 tables for groups of maybe 4-6 people. The lady manning the front counter as well as taking orders and serving was fantastic. Very friendly and checked up on all tables through out the night. For ramen, my bf got the Tonkotsu ($1 extra for spicy), and I got the Mayu. I see why it has such high reviews, both were delicious. The roasted garlic oil was amazing and complimented the pork broth. The seasoned soft-boiled egg was our favorite part, not just lightly seasons either. It was sweet and savory with each bite, and the creaminess from the jammy yolk was fantastic. The charred cha siu slices had a slight sweetness too, and the fat through the slices gave it this wonderful melt in your mouth, mouth feel. The tonkostu spicy used the same broth just added the chili oil to it and gave it a good bite. The noodles had a nice chew to it. It was just the perfect bowl on a chilly May evening. Definitely worth checking out for a great bowl of ramen.

A decent variety on their menu as well, not just ramen, & a fairly extensive appetizer list. There was a summer special menu, so we ordered the spicy cold tofu, which was delicious. I also don't like their chicken or chashu any longer and I always go with the tofu. Typical order for me is a Bold Ramen, Non-Gluten free, Go Green, Garlic's Best Friend, Give it a kick, with a flavored egg. If I'm extra hungry I will add extra noodles but their other appetizers such as their fried rice have never really wowed me, but hey, not for me. One thing that I do not get even though I am rating five stars is why they serve extra noodles immediately with your bowl of ramen. By the time you're done with your first portion of noodles, the second portion is a noodle brick that you have to pry apart in your bowl with your chopsticks. Ramen Tatsunoya handles "kaedama" wayyyyy better in the respect that it's to order and they bring it out almost instantly after you order it with extra green onions, wood ear mushrooms, etc. Tatsu definitely has the ability to pump out a bowl of ramen fast - so I know they could do this too with just a little extra care between front of house and back of house staff. Please consider it. Your customers ordering extra noodles will immediately notice a quality difference getting to eat fresh noodles!
