But I promise these pictures don't do justice you have to come and try yourself. We def needed a good sushi spot in this area and what better to have than Kinza and it just hits every time and never disappoints. The service is absolutely exceptional from the waitress to the chef's and everyone else involved, super friendly and just welcoming and it's not always we get that the best of both worlds lol. I'm for sure coming back with a bunch of people so I can try the fresh sushi menu. I definitely recommend and if you live around the area you no longer have to drive 20-30 minutes for good sushi. I have only been here twice, but the selection of sushi is extensive and fresh. I feel very welcome when I come in and they treat me with respect and kindness. Plus, they have my favorite sake and plum wine and mochi for dessert. This is one of my new favorite sushi places in the area. read more

Stopped by after seeing this spot. I haven't been in the area for about 4 months and didn't see this spot last time. They told me they recently opened. Came on a Friday night and it wasn't too busy. However, that needs to change! The sushi is delicious, the price is very affordable, and the service is amazing!! Clean restaurant on the corner of an intersection but plenty of curb side parking. Excellent!! Just came here for the first time. I'm super picky since I don't like raw and I like my rolls really cold. We had the r.a roll, crab tower, and beef udon noodles. We loved it all. Rolls very cold, great texture and the r.a one had just left spice. I think it's my new favorite roll. The crab tower was also good, but I would probably add cucumber to it next time. My husband said the beef udon was great and the temperature was hot. They didn't excellent job and getting just the right temperature for all of the dishes. This place has alot of rolls!! ALOT...so many to choose from. We ordered 3 rolls, tempura udon, and beef teriyaki dinner plate. Udon and beef teriyaki was good, the rolls were ok. The rice on the rolls were kinda mushy, the taste was there but the rice was a no for me. Also, the menu is very messy? Its just too much. I wish that they had either pictures or they separate the cooked rolls from the fresh rolls. I had to really study the menu since I cant eat raw fish at the moment. First time visiting this new restaurant, but I was a frequent customer at the Korean place previously occupied the location. First impression, the dining decor is 100% nicer than before. It shows the effort of improving the dining experience, including a dog patio. Very nice. The service is great, food is fine. Nothing to complain about on the surface. I'm one of those people that get turned off by a huge menu. I'm certain many people out there like choices and a large menu would allow all the choices you need. But I feel the sheer number of selections is overwhelming. Photos and better descriptions would be helpful. Lastly, I find this place is tad bit expensive for what you get. Yes sushi can be pricey but I expect something more out of a $18 roll or $32 Chirashi bowl. Don't mind paying high prices as long as it's worth it. Just not feeling this place right now. read more

Immediately walking in, the interior is well decorated with comfortable seating. This being my first time visiting, the many options on the menu can be slightly overwhelming; making it difficult to pick an item. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had been waiting and watching for the grand opening. I noticed a few days ago that they were officially open. Extremely fresh sushi. We tried the toro, albacore belly and it melted in our mouth. We also got 4 different rolls and those were also really good. Service was exceptional. The owner came up personally and checked on us. We will definitely come back. Been waiting for this place to open! The wife and I used to go into this place when it was a Cold Stone ice cream parlor. LOL So glad we did! Food and service was amazing and this place has Orion beer from Okinawa! It is so rare to find this beer anywhere. We were treated so well tonight. The best sushi in in the foothills! Have been to other sushi places in LC and the quality was so inconsistent so we decided to try this out and i have been a frequent customer ever since! Every time I have been to Kinza it is always so fresh and flavorful, and the variety is great. I love trying new rolls, appetizers, and sashimi. I will say my rolls were all a little on the (too) salty side, but I should've spoken up and said something when I saw the chef putting so much salt on them. What this town actually needed was another sushi restaurant. It was a long awaited opening and we got to try it today. Staff were very friendly and engaging which makes you want to stay. The sushi selection is excellent. Not just the basics which they do well but some that would be considered more on the "exotic" side like halibut fin and albacore belly. Preparation authentic. I have been visiting their Santa Clarita location for years now, so I was so excited to find out they opened this location. Ordered takeout and per usual was pleased with the rolls. I always stick to what I love which are the Hell Fire Roll, Sexy Lady Roll, G-Turn Time Roll, and Crunchy roll. They have probably have one of the best garlic edamame I've ever had. Their 50/50 handroll is also to die for. When I came to pick up my order I was pleased with the inside. It was very modern, simple and clean! Service was excellent per usual since I am used to their other location. Ignore the reviews about having too big of a menu?! I've never heard of that before, especially at a sushi restaurant where you can make so many different roll variations. I love that theirs so many choices, since there's always something for everyone! I've tried a lot of their different rolls too depending on my mood since it's nice to switch it up here and there.
