    Chicken Katsu
    Ranjitha A.

We ordered Rose Teokbokki in first visit. I really loved it . Then we visited again to try the OG chicken Katsu and I really loved it. I would definitely go back for it. Portion size was very good for the price. Teokbokki size was huge. The service is very good .Very kind staff and customer friendly. I loved the ambience and the local Korean vedios running in the television which made me feel like I was in South Korea. The staff gave us miso soup as complimentary which I really appreciate. I would order it in my next visit as it was tasty. Overall I would definitely recommend for my friends and family.

I ordered the chicken teriyaki salad with peanut sauce dressing and was very happy with my order. It was fresh, flavorful, and a great combo. Staff was friendly and service was fast. Ambiance was quiet, good place for a quick lunch, they even included a sweet treat with my order to go. Overall good experience and would definitely go back.

We were trying to go somewhere else but it was closed, so I remembered that there was a new place where wow bento and roll used to be so we decided to try that and we were so glad we did! We had a bento bowl, a sashimi bowl and a poke bowl. Each was different and very good. The fish was much higher quality than you'd expect at this price. The bowls all had sauces that were unique and very good. We were all very pleased with the food and the overall experience. You wouldn't expect the food in a little spot in a strip mall to be as good as it is.

I believe this is the third name change for this location but the menu remains largely intact, but with a few new items like the Youme hotdog. It wasn't available during our visit. But it looked interesting in the menu picture. I had the sashimi salad and my best half had the half and half poke bowl. Service is super quick. Food is fresh and delicious. Unpretentious ambience-most people pick up and go. But there are several tables for in person eating or gorging. Plenty of parking out front and there are EV chargers over by Vons.

Love this place! Wow Youme is fantastic. Whether you want sushi, handrolls, or poke bowls I highly recommend this spot. Excellent service with cute and intimate vibe. Wow youme is a good one stop shop for food and vibes. Take a date or treat yourself.

Evidence that the poke bowl was very good.

The tuna is so fresh here it is incredible. The overall freshness of all the ingredients is what really makes this poke bowl worth getting. I have been to every poke place in a 5 mile radius which isn't a huge number but I can definitely say this is one of the tastiest I have come across.

    Sotteok-Sotteok

I have been a fan of Fresh Wow Youme since it originally came to this plaza in the 00s as Wow Bento and Roll. I've always loved the unique and generous bento combos, which the new menu retains, the fresh and light options (yummy salads w big portions and lots of toppings!), and now, the newest addition, the Korean snack offerings! Me and my friend got the combo bento, teriyaki chicken salad, tteokbokki, beef mandu, and sotteok-sotteok. It was all fresh, generously portioned, and delicious! I wish I got more pics of the food but we just inhaled it!! I've never had SUCH a good sotteok-sotteok, the dduk (rice cakes) are fried w a crisp exterior and soft interior. The sausages are smoky and blistered. My friend and I shared one but next time, we are each getting one for ourselves! Check their Instagram for limited amazing deals, like buy one get one tteokbokki (came with a free order of delish fried beef mandu, or dumplings). They were so kind and let us dine in even though they were closing in 40 minutes, and all of the food was delicious. I love this place and want it to stay around always, wishing the owners much luck and good business!

The food is absolutely amazing. The food came out in a timely manner and was so delicious. On top of that, the service and the people were so accommodating and very sweet. The place is also very nice and dainty.

We also got the bossam which was great for sharing among the group and just a perfect mix of flavors and textures. Side dishes included kimchi, pickled daikon, and fish cakes. I ordered 6 on the menu which I expected to be extremely flavorful based on its appearance, but it tasted very plain to me. I did order a more simple item on the menu compared to others, so I guess I should have expected that. My family enjoyed theirs which is good. There are plenty of other options, but they are mostly spicy; however, the side dishes are amazing! The cost is a bit pricy, but if you like it, it's worth it. This was an overall pretty good experience, and would recommend; just make sure you're a fan of this kind of food.

Having to cook dinner after coming home after a long day at work just seemed daunting Wednesday…read morenight. My boyfriend and I decided to treat ourselves to Korean food for dinner and typically we would go to Jincook, but I wanted to try something different. I found K-Street on Yelp and wanted to give it a try. There's plenty of parking in a safe parking garage which is nice! We arrived to the restaurant at around 8pm? Upon walking in we saw that they have a B rating so my boyfriend was a bit weary of eating there. Upon walking in, it was completely empty-- understandable because it was a Wednesday night. The server was a super nice woman who gave us recommendations and explained things I needed clarification for. The restaurant was cute, had street signs for streets in Korea and a huge projector that screened music videos on the wall. I'm sure the place is usually poppin' on nights when it's busy! It was really quiet because we were the only ones there but the music was a nice addition to break the silence. My boyfriend ordered the Bulgogi Dolsot, which is bulgogi with rice in a hot stone. He said the bulgogi had great flavors and the crispy rice was his favorite! The bulgogi wasn't fatty or too tough, he loved that they didn't skimp on the meat. I ordered the Hot Pot Bulgogi, it was a soup with bulgogi, some rice cakes, and some noodles. It was served with rice, but I skipped on eating the rice. The soup to me was a bit too salty! It had great umami flavor and depth to the rich flavor but I needed lemon or vinegar to break up the saltiness. The bulgogi in the soup was nice and tender, I ate basically all of the bulgogi. The rice cakes were nice and chewy, and the noodles made it feel like a complete meal. Was it worth $22? Not to me, for what it was I think it should've been around $15. The also gave us complementary banchan, but it wasn't the best. I understand we were only two people and they were bottomless, but 4 small pieces of pickled radish and 2 bites of kimchi? I could've easily eaten 5 plates of each but I didn't want the server constantly coming back to bring us more. Again, we were the only ones there so I didn't want to feel like a burden. Would I come back here again? Unfortunately not. My first impression at K-Street wasn't the best and there are plenty Korean restaurants that I personally like!

They share a restaurant space with a Korean corn dog spot which is a little confusing, but what's…read moremore confusing is how this place is super inconspicuous. You could easily walk past it and you wouldn't even know. That said, the food is pretty good. My one and only gripe however is that for some reason they do not offer pick up orders to be placed by phone OR on delivery apps. It's the strangest thing, and having to go into the restaurant in person to order to-go is a big inconvenience. I typically order the Chadol BBQ. Not many korean restaurants offer brisket (it's usually bulgogi, galbi, or chicken). So whenever I have a hankering for brisket but not AYCE, I know where to go. The brisket is tender and usually not overcooked. Their steamed mandu is chicken and pork. It's nothing special but you get exactly what you expect. Parking is pretty convenient in the parking garage right above it, with the first 45m free (no validation required).

I LOVE TOFU SOUP!!!…read more got the beef tofu soup and it was deliciousss. one of our group had burnt rice but the staff were quick to replace it. the spicy cucumber here is so good i ate like 2 plates honestly. i will say is that the spice scale isn't super accurate. i am pretty bad with spice so i got a mild and it was just ... alright... i feel like i was missing a lot of the flavor, not just heat level. my friends who got medium and spicy let me try their soups and they were way better and honestly not that much spicier. so i would say give a higher spice level a try if you want more flavor in your broth. we also ordered a bottle of soju to share and some of the spicy chicken. those were good too!

This place is basic, nothing fancy and there's really no ambiance or special feelings associated with it - it's just an old-looking sit-down and serve establishment. The few people sitting to eat were random; I was there to order to-go. After asking what was the patrons favorite dish(es) the lady quickly pointed out the most expensive items on the menu. Of course she did. My eyes rolled but I was polite and decided to order something I recognized and wouldn't hate myself for in the morning. Chicken Teriyaki Can of coke My bill came to $34.23 Ahem! What? Why does a plate of Chicken Teriyaki cost so much? And why $3 for a can of coke? I just cannot wrap my head around it. This isn't a fancy restaurant at all! In fact, it's as basic as it gets with no ambiance or warmth. I cannot recommend this place at all. The food was pretty poor and nowhere near on par with classy eats that try to reach that $$ figure. Montrose is certainly a place where there are people with money and no taste...looking for reasons to spend it willy-nilly. I thought I took a photo of the plate when I got home. Guess not. Avoid if you aren't made of money and prefer well-prepared meals, not quick, mushy fast-foodish stuff.
