Parking was a breeze. Once we arrived we were immediately offered a table. There was a wide selection of options to choose from. I ordered the seafood tofu soup spicy. And the BBQ Beef Ribs. The sides provided were delicious and bottomless. The servers constantly kept asking if we wanted more sides. The inside was upbeat and they offer Karaoke. Our food quickly came out and despite being busy with a restaurant full of people the servers did an axing job ensuring everything was to our liking. I absolutely love this place!!!!

This is a Korean restaurant that I like to go from time to time. They're reasonably priced, and the food is pretty good. Now they have a small tablet on each table where you can place the order yourself. Whenever you need more of the side dishes, you can let any of the servers know. The parking can be a little tricky since it's on a hilly side with only a few spots. They have a break time from 2:30-4:30, so be sure you're there during the business hours.

Food is super authentic... honestly tasted better than the tofu soup I tried in Korea. Every order comes with side dishes and there's a station for water or hot barley tea... the kimchi beef tofu soup was so yummy and such a comfort food and the bulgogi was perfectly seasoned and tender so delicious! Service was helpful and kind. Not trendy or cutesy inside, pretty practical appearance and the parking isn't great although there is a few parking spaces it's mostly street parking. I will be bringing more people to eat here!

Spicy kimchi tofu soup! The blood red color gives an idea how spicy it was aka super spicy :)

I ordered the Spicy Tofu soup to go, and it did not disappoint! The spicy was super spicy, and the blood red soup color said it all. A lot of places don't make the soup as spicy, and tone it down. If you're looking for the typical spice, go with medium. I love that it comes with purple rice, and the sides tasted straight from a mom's kitchen in Korea. Authentic flavor and a nice size portion as well. The hostess helping me was really sweet, and my order was ready in less than 10 min. I'll be back! But will prob go with medium spice next time ^^

Great lunch specials. One of the best tofu soup spots in La Crescenta Montrose area. My go to spots when I don't want to go out to ktown.

    That's right! Lol

Never fail! I haven't been here in over a month. That's very unusual but medical issues. I'm back for our go-to never fail delicious Korean BBQ and tofu soup.

I love the food here--sides, meat, soup! The service is fast, and the staff is accommodating. It can be another go-to place if you are craving Korean cuisine for lunch or dinner. In the afternoon, they open at 4:30 p.m. We ordered the small intestine tofu soup and ribs. The ambiance is simple and pretty organized.

To be honest, we had never heard of Miso Tofu until we looked up "Korean Tofu" while driving east on the 118, heading back to the San Gabriel Valley. We had a craving and after looking at the pics we decided to try out Miso. We did not expect to find the little shop so packed! And as we waited, car after car pulled up and one occupant would jump out and check how long the wait was. It was pretty obvious this was a regular spot for local Korean families and we knew we would be in for a treat. The server made us feel like one of those regulars as he answered all our questions and guided us to our choices. The room felt cozy and warm and that's exactly how the galbi made us feel too. This was classic Korean food done well and we balanced the warmth out with some spicy cold noodles. We loved it all and it was simply better than the Korean Tofu shops we have around us. It's a bit of a drive for us but we will definitely be back.

I had lunch here recently, ordering one of my favorite Korean entrees, Yukgaejang ("Spicy Beef Soup"). I was happy to see it come with purple rice, which I enjoy much more than white. The Yukgaejang among the best I've had recently, with a hearty, spicy broth, and lots of ingredients. My husband ordered Kimchi Kalguksu ("Home-style Noodle Soup"). He said the broth was the right level of spiciness for him, and the noodles were just the right firmness. He wished it had a bit more Kimchi in it and maybe more than one rice cake slice. But, he was happy with what he ate. I've noticed that in most Korean restaurants, the number and amount of Ban Chan has shrunk. We were given only 4 Ban Chan dishes here, and the amount was nowhere near enough for our group of 4. However, they were more than willing to refill Ban Chan when we finished one, so the initial amount given didn't matter. The Ban Chan was tasty, and fresh. Service was good. The restaurant was full when we arrived, so it did take a while to order and get our food, but the wait was relatively short given how busy it was.

This was our second time to this restaurant. The food and services were excellent! We enjoyed their side dishes a lot and the waiters were kind enough to kept bringing us more.

The casual atmosphere out front and the lunch special banner lead us to believe we'd be having a cheaper dinner. We were ushered into a beautiful outdoor patio dining area, greeted by very friendly staff and supplied with carefully selected table settings. The environment was charming and relaxing. The menu was large and varied. We settled on a few things to try and wished we could have ordered more. The Greek salad was absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh, the flavors were perfectly balanced. The chicken breast kabob plate was so generous in its portions, the chicken skewers were huge. The rice was wonderful as was everything else. We also got the egg boat to share and the bread was incredible. We definitely want to go back and try other wood fired items there. I'm sure the pizza is wonderful if it uses the same bread. Pricing on everything was very reasonable considering all the factors. I definitely got the impression that this is run with love by a family. They were friendly and kind, and their love of food showed in every bite. Their pride in their endeavor showed in all of the little touches in creating a nice atmosphere. We will be back

The pork BBQ was the best meat we had, followed closely by the lamb chops. The chicken breast was very good but lost out in a tough competition. We added Fries which are slices of potatoes, not French fries. They were not greasy and seasoned very nicely. And we had the Adjarian Khachapouri again, because we could not pass up this mouth watering delight. A sumptuous mix of bread, cheese , egg and spices. Add in a clean patio for dining, a friendly and attentive owner, and it is not to be missed.

I've been hesitant because it is in a trickier area, but I had no issues pulling in or parking! They have a few spots in the front, but otherwise I'm sure there is parking around the neighborhood. You walk inside to order and it is not a fancy looking place, but the people cooking the meat definitely know what they're doing!! It felt like an authentic Texas bbq spot. I didn't want the frills, I just wanted good food and that's what I got. I sat at a little table outside which was perfectly pleasant! The road wasn't too loud or anything. But really, the sandwich was SO good. I doused it in the spicy bbq and added the pickles and coleslaw and I ate the WHOLE thing. I shouldn't have. But it was great!! We hadn't visited since February, 2020. Before the pandemic might as well have been 10 years ago, if the world shut down 6 years ago. We were overdue for a followup visit. Judging by how the food went down, we were sore for it. We ordered the Big Tex: four meats and four sides - tri-tip, brisket, pulled pork and links; kale greens, bbq beans, mac and cheese and fries. We opted for the cornbread in the roll slot. It should be the top meats in your order, by premium scale and availability, but more often than they should be, the brisket/tri-tip selections are, 90%, obligatory orders. I think I have a love/hate relationship with the way LA treats the pepperoni pizza of bbq meats. Swinging Door broke us off proper though. Not too fatty. Great tenderism. And the accompanying sauce complemented the smoked all stars, rather than compensated for lack of flavor. Didn't stop me from loving their Whiskey bbq sauce though. The beans were a true bbq side, swimming in a mild sauce and containing lovely chunks of link. And the kale greens - sheesh - I think they might've switched to kale since our first visit. An effective exercise in alternative ruffage that holds seasoning and jucies for a similar bbq/soulfoud bite. We live further away now. Took the food to go, to prevent the intermittent rain from foiling more of our plans. It traveled well. And since I'm using our leftover bbq sauce on every other meal I cook, I'd say we successfully made do with our lunch substitute.

This restaurant is an Armenian/Georgian/Eastern European style eatery. I was there yesterday around 4:15pm. As I was about to walk in, Gayane with a pleasant smile wanted to know if I wanted to eat in or order food to go. I told her I would like to sit on the patio, soak up the sun and the beautiful weather. She brought me a menu and looking at the menu which had a lot of entreés to choose from, I decided to go with their 5x Large Khinkali with ground beef that was topped and garnished with fresh cilantro & pomegranate. I also ordered 1x Large Blinchik (stuffed with Meat) & 1x large Chicken BBQ Wrap that came with a side of tomato sauce. The Chicken Wrap was toasted very well and inside were a lot of healthy vegetables: Mayo, Ketchup, Raw Onions, Pickles, Cilantro, Lettuce & tomato. All the fine dishes tasted divine, flavorful and very fresh!! I also wanted to try couple of their fruit juices and the Mikado dessert, but she told me they were out. It's ok, there will definitely be a next time because I am planning to return back next time I am in Glendale. For one person it was a lot of food. Total came out to be $57.38.
