I've been coming here since I was a kid, & being in my 30's now coming here it still holds the same outstanding flavorful food quality. My go to order is their grilled chicken breast, or their tri tip 7 oz with the side of sweet mash & Mac n cheese -- it hits every time! I am obsessed with their sweet mash it's a must have for me. I highly advise you to ask for the garlic bread rolls with bbq sauce on the side 10/10 !!! The service at this location was very pleasant. From the host, to our server, everything was top tier each time we visited. The location is extremely well up kept, clean, & everyone works & moves very organized. I love that. For supposed bbq, it's very mid. My brisket wasn't sliced or bbq'd. Just very undercooked made on a grill. I had to send it back. The baked potato was the star and if I ever return i would just order that. Bar service was stellar. The restaurant is all stained woods and pretty large. All country themed. Came here after the movies and overall I'll rate my experience 4/5. I had a really good time sitting at the bar. The service was cool, however they did mess up my order and I was already starting to eat. They said I had to give up the other plate even though the salmon was cooked wrong it still was looking satisfying!!! The potatoes were better though than my new salmon plate. Consistently good BBQ! The ribs here fall off the bone and the tritip is so good. The mac and cheese is super gooey and pretty yum and the peanut coleslaw is also very good. I really enjoy the bread here I hate to admit but it's just so good fresh out of the oven. It can get busy on weekends with up to an hour wait but usually it's no more than 15-20 min. There's a parking structure directly behind the restaurant and also another across the street. They have a full bar with TVs if you want to catch the game and patio seating as well. The ribeye steak was mouthwatering and cooked perfectly! I asked for rare and I got a rare steak that was seasoned perfect! The asparagus was good! Wood Ranch for dinner during the week means less wait time. They are always super busy on Fri-Sun , so if you can, come during the week. We sat outside this time which had some nice ceiling heating lamps that did the job. The free garlic rolls were warm , soft, and buttery: never fails. We ordered the killer wings for our appetizer- QTY 10 and it came with some carrots and celery. They were drenched in a tangy buffalo sauce. For our entrees we ordered the classic burger and the BBQ combo - 2 items. We went with the BBQ ribs and tri tip. This also comes with two sides. It's a pretty good deal for the amount of food you get. Btw you can order your burger "protein style" with no bun. I like their coleslaw here too- it has peanuts and is more of a vinegar base than mayo base. I went here on December 21, 2022 on my dad's b-day .I ordered the beef ribs if I remember correctly. They looked kinda burnt. Tasted a little burnt too but that's because they're pecan wood-smoked. It came with two signature sides. The sides were original peanut coleslaw and Idaho baked potato. The peanut coleslaw was unlike other coleslaw I've had, the peanut made it crunchy. We received the bill and the server came back with that lovely tablet. She processes my card and hard coded 20% to the bill. Everything was amazing! This was our first time going to Wood Ranch and our waitress, Baila, was absolutely phenomenal! She gave us recommendations, and was super helpful and welcoming. I ordered the BBQ combo with the Smoked Brisket and Tri-Tip as my main entrees and the peanut coleslaw and mashed potatoes as my sides. It was very delicious :) absolutely no complaints. The dining room is big and an adjacent bar which is pretty sizable and a great outdoor patio so you have a ton of options for seating. Well this really makes me sad to review this low on a place I had been wanting to try for a while now. I had been craving a ribeye steak this week and we finally went and I chose Wood Ranch. We went to an early dinner after a movie around 4:30ish so the wait was not bad at all. The restaurant was nice and quiet which I liked. We had already seen the menu so we knew what we wanted to order. We decided to share the ribeye with loaded mashed potatoes and a beef rib with a side of mac and cheese. We first started with the artichoke and spinach dip and that was really tasty. Not too long after we finished the appetizer we got our plates. The steak looked really delicious. We ordered it medium. Which was cooked perfectly. The steak was very delicious but could have used a bit more salt and pepper for my taste and didn't seem to be as juicy of a steak as I'm used too. The mashed potatoes were a little too dry for me, not enough butter or cream. They were supposed to be loaded and all it had was cheese and bacon. The beef rib was delicious but I forgot to order with no barbecue sauce and I felt like it had way too much much sauce also for my liking. But it was cooked perfectly and the meat would just fall off the bone. I'm glad I came in to try but it wasn't what I expected. read more

I was looking forward to my dinner at this establishment, as I walked in I had a reservation We wanted to sit outside since we have our fur baby with us. It was around 5 PM and the sun was very strong. The patio had a couple of people there were a lot of empty tables. I had nicely asked for a table that wasn't under the sun and a hostess named Stacy rolled her eyes rudely like I was asking for something unattainable. I proceeded to ask another hostess and once again Stacy rolls her eyes and rudely huffs and puffs. If you are the first face that a customer sees when they walk in your restaurant, whatever it is, you're going through that day. You still have to put a happy face. The customer is always right especially when they're not being mean or rude to you. I would've given this place a five star review. The food is excellent. The ribs are fall off the bone. Our server named Mike was the definition of customer service. You can tell he loves his job unfortunately, you need to get a better hostess staff. You need to have a strong front. Sadly, because of this experience, I will not be coming back. Showed up on a Friday night during the World Cup, and the place was packed. There was no seating available without a long wait, so we ended up eating at the bar. The bartender "Myra" was great and the people around us were pleasant, which helped the experience. The food itself was just OK, and one of the dishes came with a burnt corn on the cob. For the prices they charge, the quality didn't match. I'm not sure how this place has four stars -- it feels more like a 2.5 to 3-star experience.It's disappointing because the employees were genuinely nice, but the food didn't live up to the hype. read more

It honestly just feels like an extremely big family gathering - big-ish portions, lots of meat and greasy food, extremely bustling and somewhat chaotic in a homey sense. Lol. It's not one of those high end dining spots but, again, has its charm. The tri tip is good. The bbq brisket is on the dry side so I wouldn't get those again. Mac and cheese are great. I came for dinner on a Saturday night around 7pm in a group of 4; we were told to wait 45 minutes to an hour so we went to walk around the area. Then we got a text after 30 minutes that our table was already ready. They use an internal waitlist system (not Yelp or other waitlist services) so you can't really see how many parties are ahead of you. Needless to say, they do a fast job seating, so don't let the wait time discourage you. We were thrilled by the refillable (?) garlic bread buns (?)! They were very tasty and garlicky. We ordered salads to share and a combo meat plate (comes with two meats and two sides). The ribs were delicious, with a great BBQ sauce - would recommend it. We also had brisket which was also very tasty. They gave us only a few ounces of the brisket for the combo plate, so if you want a larger portion of meat then the full servings would probably be best. Finally, drinks were delish!! We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Wood Ranch for my boyfriend's birthday. We came in pretty late, around 8:30 PM with a reservation and from the moment we arrived, everyone was so kind and welcoming. Our server was fantastic (I hope I remembered his name!) He was very attentive, patient, and genuinely helpful. They accommodated us outside so we could have our dog with us. He was a little nervous and ended up barking a bit, so we really appreciated how understanding and patient everyone was. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. We were probably a little more needy than we intended to be with all the little things we asked for, but everything we requested was taken care of without hesitation and with such a great attitude. We truly felt welcomed and taken care of, especially considering we arrived so close to closing time. Excellent food, excellent service, and a wonderful overall experience. 2 1/2 stars- "One and Done for Me" We came here on a recommendation from someone in our group. The good news -- this place does accommodate larger parties (six or more), which made things convenient. Our waitress Kendra was assigned to us and she was an absolute rock star -- friendly, patient, and really worked hard to take care of our table. Now for the not-so-great part: the food. I ordered the burger with bacon, medium. There was a noticeable wait time, but I was fine with that if the food came out right. Unfortunately, it didn't. My burger arrived without any condiments -- no mayo, no ketchup, nothing. Just plain dry. The fries were borderline cold, which didn't help. Then came the real disappointment: the burger itself. I asked for medium, but it came out well done -- so overcooked that it fell apart with every bite. Completely dry, no flavor left. Would I come back? Nope. This was a one and done for me.
