    Ribs and tri tip plates

Chain restaurants always get a bad rap- but been here a few times and always leave satisfied. The food is consistent and service is always nice and attentive. The complimentary bread is delicious. Good quality meats and solid sides. Pretty good Mac n cheese side (only thing missing are some breadcrumbs and a hot skillet). Good prices for large portions. Located in downtown Burbank and always busy on a weekend night.

Everything was amazing! This was our first time going to Wood Ranch and our waitress, Baila, was absolutely phenomenal! She gave us recommendations, and was super helpful and welcoming. I ordered the BBQ combo with the Smoked Brisket and Tri-Tip as my main entrees and the peanut coleslaw and mashed potatoes as my sides. It was very delicious :) absolutely no complaints. The restaurant was also very nice inside. Great environment and clean area. Would go again simply for the attentive and friendliness of our server. Absolutely wonderful experience.

Consistently good BBQ! The ribs here fall off the bone and the tritip is so good. The mac and cheese is super gooey and pretty yum and the peanut coleslaw is also very good. I really enjoy the bread here I hate to admit but it's just so good fresh out of the oven. It can get busy on weekends with up to an hour wait but usually it's no more than 15-20 min. There's a parking structure directly behind the restaurant and also another across the street. They have a full bar with TVs if you want to catch the game and patio seating as well. Service is usually pretty attentive and they are good with beverage refills.

The ribeye steak was mouthwatering and cooked perfectly! I asked for rare and I got a rare steak that was seasoned perfect! The asparagus was good! The waiter was attentive and recommended the ribeye steak and I am glad I got what he recommended. The ambiance is nice and had booths to sit in!

Wood Ranch Burbank . We made a online reservation. We're seated upon arriving (on time) . Our server took our orders and they came out in a decent amount of time. I ordered salmon, it was cooked well the mashed potatoes are tasty and buttery. They had the soccer game playing in the screen, so we definitely enjoyed dinner and a game. It is a little on the loud side.

After doing some shopping in Burbank, we stopped by Wood Ranch for lunch. We weren't terribly excited about being seated in the bar area, but it appeared that there weren't any tables open in the main part of the restaurant. The service was excellent. Our server was professional, polite, and attentive, and the busser and the runner. Our meals arrived hot and as ordered. The only reason for -1 star is the tri-tip in the salad was primarily fat and gristle - almost no edible meat.

I had the Carolina pulled pork with salad, sweet potatoes fries. The service was great server Djarus is one of the best servers I had experience. He took excellent care of our table. The ambiance was so pleasant and inviting. I highly recommend this Place for lunch or dinner. Kindness forward one person at a time.

This is a great spot to come with family and friends. The bread rolls are so delicious and the service is typically really good. They have a Happy Hour menu Monday thru Friday from 3-6 in the bar area.

Wood Ranch for dinner during the week means less wait time. They are always super busy on Fri-Sun , so if you can, come during the week. We sat outside this time which had some nice ceiling heating lamps that did the job. The free garlic rolls were warm , soft, and buttery: never fails. We ordered the killer wings for our appetizer- QTY 10 and it came with some carrots and celery. They were drenched in a tangy buffalo sauce. For our entrees we ordered the classic burger and the BBQ combo - 2 items. We went with the BBQ ribs and tri tip. This also comes with two sides. It's a pretty good deal for the amount of food you get. Btw you can order your burger "protein style" with no bun. I like their coleslaw here too- it has peanuts and is more of a vinegar base than mayo base. It was my sisters bday and they brought out a sundae with chocolate sauce, whipped cream and sprinkles!

They have amazing cocktails and super friendly bar tenders Katrina and Sydney are so professional and make great drinks . We really enjoyed sitting at the bar !!

The food is super good and the service was great. We got a great server and he was very attentive. The food came out fast and had perfect seasoning. Will definitely come again.

The restaurant is so comfortable, friendly family atmosphere and just homey. The server is supported by a great team of other servers. Great service. Well, the food is great and tasty. The combo was with half chicken and two beef ribs with asparagus and corn on the side. Will be back here again.

I went here on December 21, 2022 on my dad's b-day .I ordered the beef ribs if I remember correctly. They looked kinda burnt. Tasted a little burnt too but that's because they're pecan wood-smoked. It came with two signature sides. The sides were original peanut coleslaw and Idaho baked potato. The peanut coleslaw was unlike other coleslaw I've had, the peanut made it crunchy. The Idaho baked potato was soft and the butter made it even better. Service was fine, pretty average. Lighting was great because of the warm yellow fixtures. It was warm inside.

I was impressed with the upscale décor and overall "Men's Grill" steakhouse vibe. The food was generally good but nothing exceptional. We started off with the Caesar salad and the Boston clam chowder. Both were good but, again, nothing exceptional. We then ordered the steak frites and the seared salmon. The steak was perfectly cooked and came with the "stubs" of several russet potatoes. I guess we got the short end of the stick there. There was a really nice herbed mayonnaise sauce that came with the fries and another very good (pistachio?) sauce for the steak. My wife's salmon was decent and came with some broccolini and couscous. But neither dish entered the "fabulous" category. It was my birthday and we were presented with a lovely and very generous dessert of a fudge lava cake and crème Brule. Nice touch! The service was rather lackluster in that our waiter made several gaffs: he forgot about our drink order. He didn't offer fresh cracked pepper for the salad as he did for the table next to us. And he took away my plate before my wife was finished with her course. For a fine dining restaurant removing plates prematurely should never be done unless requested by the customer. But overall, for the price, this was an excellent value!

I didn't take pics or walk around the whole restaurant because I was on a date, but will be returning for more. I had a short rib, beet, cabbage soup of sort. My first bite was a bit more beety tasting than I was expected, but then added the dollop of sour cream provided, and it was like magic. It was a unique combination of flavors. Perfect for a dreary night. Filling and warming, and delicious . The presentation was beautiful as well. My date ordered a steak that also came with vegetables. He enjoyed, and it was cooked perfectly Our waitress was great. She had a good sense of what level of attention each table needed as I watched her. My only regret last night was not ordering some pistachio cheesecake that a table next to us ordered when seemingly just coming in for a quick dessert. This is a great place for a family dinner or a date, or something a little bit more upscale. Love that they had a parking lot, as well as there was plenty of street parking. I'm excited to return to try some more things on the menu. You can also call for reservations, although it was surprisingly not very busy for a Saturday night.

This was the first wedding dinner they've ever hosted, and they made us feel like they had been doing it for years. From the moment we started planning, the owners welcomed every idea with genuine enthusiasm. They worked with our florist, created a custom printed menu just for our guests, and transformed the private dining room into an elegant, candlelit space that felt warm, romantic, and effortlessly beautiful. The food deserves its own standing ovation. Chef Jose's philosophy is simple: let exceptional ingredients speak for themselves. His recipes use minimal oil, allowing every herb, vegetable, seafood, and cut of meat to shine with its natural flavor. Every course was beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how incredible everything tasted. Seeing how Palma's team poured their heart into such an important evening made it even more meaningful. We were seated right away and our server gave us great recommendations. Unfortunately, after our appetizers arrived, the service disappeared. For 45 minutes, no one checked on our table. Our water sat empty for about 30 minutes, and after realizing no one was even looking our way, I finally got up to ask for a refill. It took three requests. We also waited about an hour for three pasta dishes and finished our entire bottle of wine before dinner arrived and more water to arrive. The most frustrating part was watching the lack of organization unfold. The owner, who appeared to be running expo, offered our appetizers to three other tables before they eventually made their way to us. When our entrées came out, those were offered to another table first, too. It genuinely felt like our table was invisible. My husband and I both worked in hospitality, so we understand that restaurants get busy and mistakes happen. We intentionally didn't want to make the server or staff uncomfortable. But when guests have to repeatedly ASK to be served and still receive almost no service, something in the system is broken. I've gotten better service at a fast food restaurant. I don't write this to discourage people from supporting a local business. I want small businesses in our community to thrive. But that also requires accountability. In this economy, dining out is a meaningful expense for many people, and a nearly $400 dinner should come with a fundamentally different level of service. At minimum, an experience this poor warranted proactive acknowledgment from the owner. We didn't receive that. There are too many great local restaurants working hard for people's business. I sincerely hope the owners take feedback like this seriously and work the feedback into ongoing staff training. We watched the table next to us get amazing service but where that other server fell short is when they didn't step up to support their fellow server (ours) when she was clearly spread thin. The goal of a restaurant should be to make good food and to create an experience where all guests feel taken care of even if tables fall outside of staff sections. I hope to hear Palma's service improve and they enjoy a lot of successful years as a result. We genuinely wanted this place to be one of our nearby treats. I would rather travel further and spend a little more for the service and food places like Mozza and MotherWolf. For local Italian, we're gonna just keep going back to Ma's. For local steak, Capital Grille's service is exceptional.
