    Ribs and tri tip plates
    Sara K.

Chain restaurants always get a bad rap- but been here a few times and always leave satisfied. The food is consistent and service is always nice and attentive. The complimentary bread is delicious. Good quality meats and solid sides. Pretty good Mac n cheese side (only thing missing are some breadcrumbs and a hot skillet). Good prices for large portions. Located in downtown Burbank and always busy on a weekend night.

Consistently good BBQ! The ribs here fall off the bone and the tritip is so good. The mac and cheese is super gooey and pretty yum and the peanut coleslaw is also very good. I really enjoy the bread here I hate to admit but it's just so good fresh out of the oven. It can get busy on weekends with up to an hour wait but usually it's no more than 15-20 min. There's a parking structure directly behind the restaurant and also another across the street. They have a full bar with TVs if you want to catch the game and patio seating as well. Service is usually pretty attentive and they are good with beverage refills.

The ribeye steak was mouthwatering and cooked perfectly! I asked for rare and I got a rare steak that was seasoned perfect! The asparagus was good! The waiter was attentive and recommended the ribeye steak and I am glad I got what he recommended. The ambiance is nice and had booths to sit in!

After doing some shopping in Burbank, we stopped by Wood Ranch for lunch. We weren't terribly excited about being seated in the bar area, but it appeared that there weren't any tables open in the main part of the restaurant. The service was excellent. Our server was professional, polite, and attentive, and the busser and the runner. Our meals arrived hot and as ordered. The only reason for -1 star is the tri-tip in the salad was primarily fat and gristle - almost no edible meat.

Wood Ranch Burbank . We made a online reservation. We're seated upon arriving (on time) . Our server took our orders and they came out in a decent amount of time. I ordered salmon, it was cooked well the mashed potatoes are tasty and buttery. They had the soccer game playing in the screen, so we definitely enjoyed dinner and a game. It is a little on the loud side.

I had the Carolina pulled pork with salad, sweet potatoes fries. The service was great server Djarus is one of the best servers I had experience. He took excellent care of our table. The ambiance was so pleasant and inviting. I highly recommend this Place for lunch or dinner. Kindness forward one person at a time.

This is a great spot to come with family and friends. The bread rolls are so delicious and the service is typically really good. They have a Happy Hour menu Monday thru Friday from 3-6 in the bar area.

Wood Ranch for dinner during the week means less wait time. They are always super busy on Fri-Sun , so if you can, come during the week. We sat outside this time which had some nice ceiling heating lamps that did the job. The free garlic rolls were warm , soft, and buttery: never fails. We ordered the killer wings for our appetizer- QTY 10 and it came with some carrots and celery. They were drenched in a tangy buffalo sauce. For our entrees we ordered the classic burger and the BBQ combo - 2 items. We went with the BBQ ribs and tri tip. This also comes with two sides. It's a pretty good deal for the amount of food you get. Btw you can order your burger "protein style" with no bun. I like their coleslaw here too- it has peanuts and is more of a vinegar base than mayo base. It was my sisters bday and they brought out a sundae with chocolate sauce, whipped cream and sprinkles!

They have amazing cocktails and super friendly bar tenders Katrina and Sydney are so professional and make great drinks . We really enjoyed sitting at the bar !!

The restaurant is so comfortable, friendly family atmosphere and just homey. The server is supported by a great team of other servers. Great service. Well, the food is great and tasty. The combo was with half chicken and two beef ribs with asparagus and corn on the side. Will be back here again.

I went here on December 21, 2022 on my dad's b-day .I ordered the beef ribs if I remember correctly. They looked kinda burnt. Tasted a little burnt too but that's because they're pecan wood-smoked. It came with two signature sides. The sides were original peanut coleslaw and Idaho baked potato. The peanut coleslaw was unlike other coleslaw I've had, the peanut made it crunchy. The Idaho baked potato was soft and the butter made it even better. Service was fine, pretty average. Lighting was great because of the warm yellow fixtures. It was warm inside.

Down during the week and got seated right away. The food was delicious and tasty. The rolls are delicious. The restaurant soon filled up and was a little noisy. We received the bill and the server came back with that lovely tablet. She processes my card and hard coded 20% to the bill. The server held that tablet tight and it was hard to enter any information. She mentioned that she can't leave it on the table. I u sweat and not leaving it on the table but I felt like a kid that I couldn't even touch it just press the buttons. I was a little awkward. But love the food.

The 8ounce steak was ordered medium rare and was extremely tender and flavorful the tagliatelle bolognese was creamy and came with great fresh herbs on top. The drinks were also amazing the blackberry mocktail and especially the blackberry vodka cocktail that cocktail is enough to have you swimming in the hotel pool. Sit on the patio to enjoy the full effect of the fairy lights, fireplace and cozy spaces meant for an intimate date. I had their Old Fashioned which was banana flavored for summer. The banana was a more subtle finish, not sweet, but I still prefer their peach version and wish it was also on the menu. The deviled eggs are just the right bite for drinks. We also had the flatbread and hummus, made with green garbanzo beans and served with watermelon radish and pita bread. TIP: if you like biscuits, order theirs! Put your order in right away because they're baked fresh for you and they take a while. With the honey butter, it's perfect! Service is consistently good! From the hostess stand to the bar, it doesn't matter where you are, staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Granville came recommended for their gluten free offerings and that proved to be completely true. We arrived to a full patio on a weekday, with a mixture of smart dressed likely business individuals and more casual locals, but the staff worked out how to make a smaller table fit 4 of us so we could enjoy the sun too. We ordered a round of amazing drinks and met our waitress, who was just as kind as she was knowledgeable. She talked with us casually, which I love, gave us great recommendations, and knew the gluten free offerings forwards and backwards. Not only did she know the menu, she came out with everything we requested in one go, which seems rare anymore in serving. The food here is amazing. It's local, quality, and even with a gluten free bun, moist and flavorful. None of us could shut up about this place and honestly, I'm surprised I'd never been before. Definitely will be back.

Didn't want run of the mill food so opted to try Broken Compass Tiki. When we walked in we were wondering what we were in for. After being taken into the restaurant we both fell in love. The place was so fun, the food was epic and service tremendous. Since our first visit literally 4 months ago, I have taken people 3 different times to this restaurant. I don't live any where near Burbank but in the last few months had the pleasure of being near there and telling friends we had to go! It's so fun to go with first timers. Great vegan options too for my friend who is Vegan and usually gets a salad and fries ha.

    - Broken Compass Tiki…read more My girlfriend and I absolutely loved Broken Compass Tiki. I originally found it on TikTok, followed up with a few YouTube videos, and knew I had to check it out the next time we were in Burbank. It completely lived up to the hype. Parking can be a little challenging since it's in Burbank, but we got lucky and found a street parking spot nearby. If you don't get as lucky, driving around the block or into the surrounding neighborhood should eventually turn something up. We arrived about 20 minutes after they opened, and there were already several people inside. By the time we left, the place was filling up quickly, so it's definitely a popular spot. I surprised my girlfriend by keeping the destination a secret and just telling her we were going somewhere fun with a unique theme. She loved it. From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. Both the bartender and our server were incredibly welcoming. Our server asked whether it was our first visit and took the time to ask what kinds of drinks we normally enjoy before making recommendations. I really appreciated that he wasn't just trying to upsell us. Instead, he explained why he thought certain cocktails were better choices based on our preferences, and every recommendation ended up being spot on. As you'd expect from a tiki bar, the cocktail menu is heavily rum-focused, but there are also non-alcoholic drinks, a small beer selection, and wine available if rum isn't your thing. I ordered the Zombie Magic first, which was delicious and definitely packed a punch. After that, I tried the 100 Year Cigar, a Scotch-based cocktail that was perfect for slowly sipping. Both drinks were fantastic. My girlfriend ordered the Painkiller and the Navy Grog, and she loved both of them. We started with the Shut It Polly wings, crispy chicken wings tossed in a spicy Thai peanut sauce, and they were outstanding. We also ordered the Aloha Dippers with the Cajun seasoning. I paired mine with the Chipotle Citrus Aioli, while my girlfriend chose the Firecracker sauce. Both dipping sauces were excellent and complemented the fries really well. For our entrées, I ordered the Pub Burger with Irish cheddar, onion strings, and horseradish aioli, cooked to order. It was excellent. My girlfriend ordered the Shrimp & Lobster Roll, and we both enjoyed it. The only item that didn't quite meet our expectations was the macaroni salad that came with our meals. We've had some incredible macaroni salad at Hawaiian restaurants, and this one just didn't quite compare. It certainly wasn't bad, but it was the one part of the meal that didn't stand out. One thing that really impressed me was how accommodating the staff was regarding my raw fruit allergy. I explained what I could and couldn't safely eat or drink, and our server took it seriously. He made sure every cocktail recommendation was safe for me without sacrificing flavor or experience. That level of attention made me feel comfortable ordering drinks I otherwise might have avoided. The décor is also worth mentioning. The pirate-themed exterior transitions into a fun pirate-and-tiki atmosphere inside that really adds to the experience without feeling overdone. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations. The drinks were strong and creative, the food was excellent, the service was some of the best we've had in a long time, and the atmosphere was a blast. There are still plenty of cocktails on the menu that I'd like to try, so we'll definitely be back the next time we're in Burbank.

I ordered the Roasted Chicken, it came with fingerling potatoes, asparagus, and a nice sauce. Chicken was juicy and had rich flavor without feeling too heavy. potatoes were really good, I try to be low carb but they were too good to pass up! The sauce made the dish. It was creamy, little tangy, went very well with the chicken. My boyfriend loved his steak! I don't remember exactly which steak he ordered but he appreciated that they made it to his liking. The servers brought out water dishes and treats on a silver tray for the dogs- true service! I missed happy hour, but tried a themed cocktail, the onion rings, and the truffle burger. It was all great! My friends and I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food and our server was great. It seemed like a lot of regulars were there, which helped contribute to the overall good vibes. Dog friendly- YES! We loved it!

That says a lot about the staff. Our server, she was a young lady, was on top of everything and really made our time here enjoyable. I came here for happy hour on a Tuesday was surprised to find out they do $2 tacos and $5 margaritas. Let me tell you, the tacos are delicious and the margaritas are STRONG. It's a hell of a good time. I really enjoyed the chicken taco and carne asada taco. The meats were juicy and very flavorful. I also ordered their nachos, chili cheese fries and bread pudding. The nachos were made perfectly with the chips being thin and crispy. They used a couple different cheeses and the jalapeños were a nice touch. Definitely ordering it again, I can do without the chili cheese fries. It was good but it wasn't amazing. Their bread pudding was HUGE and I can see why it's one of the popular items here. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft and gooey in the inside. Morrisons is definitely a fun place to be. Perfect to enjoy happy hour, catch the games on, and hang out friends. They have plenty of seating inside and outdoor with heat lamps. They are dog and kid friendly as well
