We really wanted to love this place. We were excited to support a local restaurant, and the evening started off well. We were seated right away and our server gave us great recommendations. Unfortunately, after our appetizers arrived, the service disappeared. For 45 minutes, no one checked on our table. Our water sat empty for about 30 minutes, and after realizing no one was even looking our way, I finally got up to ask for a refill. It took three requests. We also waited about an hour for three pasta dishes and finished our entire bottle of wine before dinner arrived and more water to arrive. The most frustrating part was watching the lack of organization unfold. The owner, who appeared to be running expo, offered our appetizers to three other tables before they eventually made their way to us. When our entrées came out, those were offered to another table first, too. It genuinely felt like our table was invisible. My husband and I both worked in hospitality, so we understand that restaurants get busy and mistakes happen. We intentionally didn't want to make the server or staff uncomfortable. But when guests have to repeatedly ASK to be served and still receive almost no service, something in the system is broken. I've gotten better service at a fast food restaurant. I don't write this to discourage people from supporting a local business. I want small businesses in our community to thrive. But that also requires accountability. In this economy, dining out is a meaningful expense for many people, and a nearly $400 dinner should come with a fundamentally different level of service. At minimum, an experience this poor warranted proactive acknowledgment from the owner. We didn't receive that. There are too many great local restaurants working hard for people's business. I sincerely hope the owners take feedback like this seriously and work the feedback into ongoing staff training. We watched the table next to us get amazing service but where that other server fell short is when they didn't step up to support their fellow server (ours) when she was clearly spread thin. The goal of a restaurant should be to make good food and to create an experience where all guests feel taken care of even if tables fall outside of staff sections. I hope to hear Palma's service improve and they enjoy a lot of successful years as a result. We genuinely wanted this place to be one of our nearby treats. I would rather travel further and spend a little more for the service and food places like Mozza and MotherWolf. For local Italian, we're gonna just keep going back to Ma's. Such an incredible ambiance! Greeted as soon as we walked in with the warmest welcome. We tried pretty much everything on the menu - from the lamb chops, to the mushroom truffle pasta (my fav) and the sea bass. Everything was incredible. I don't even know where to begin! Even restroom was very clean compared to other restaurants I have been to. Food was amazing too. I ordered Margarita Pizza. It was so good. It tasted really good. Desserts were great. They were so yummy. I really enjoyed my dessert. I will be back for coffee and dessert for sure. Their menu has a lot of different options which makes it easy to pick. For service, our server was Richard. He was outstanding I can easily say that he was the most nice and friendly server I have seen in a while. He went above and beyond in providing customer service. Five stars all the way! I was just here this last Saturday with my sister and some friends. Wow! Off the bat, service was outstanding. From our hostess to our waiter Kevin. He was very knowledgeable when it came to selecting what to eat. And he was very accommodating. Anyone would be lucky to have him as their waiter. Now the food, holy cow! We ordered the chicken Parmesan, mushroom pizza, burrata salad, and braised oxtail pappardelle. As well as trio of desserts - tiramisu, creme brûlée, and toffee cake. First off, located next to a parking garage, so no need to worry about that but they also offer valet. We went on Valentine's Day and of course reservations were a must. We ordered the focaccia starter and the grilled octopus which was delicious and tender. For mains I had the chimichurri scallops and the oxtail ragu with pappardelle, both were delicious. Palma, an Italian focused, high-end eatery in downtown Burbank that recently opened in the fall of 2025 by restaurateur Aram Avagyan under the tutelage of Chef Emidio Tidu . Palma sits on Palm Ave near Burbank Town Center Mall on the ground level of Burbank's definition of a sky scraper welcoming with an outdoor patio area with heat lamps and full-on cushioned love seats, large glass windows, fancy dim lighting, indoor open space dining with gold accents, a raw oyster bar, a wine cellar constructed by Aram himself, glistening surfaces and smoothed, curved lines. Palma is sexy, romantic, and cosmopolitan making it not only Burbank's new hot spot for a date or girl's night out but a must-try for anyone in Los Angeles. I can compare Palma to restaurants in cities like Seattle and Chicago and it is splendid to have it in sleepy Burbank. The point of my babbling is that Palma's ambiance is a star performance and the designer/decorators should be applauded. The staff at Palma is equally exquisite from the host/concierge to the wait staff to the busboys: everyone is SO enthusiastic but genuine, friendly, and knowledgeable. Palma hired the best staff and this adds to the high-end but family-feel of Palma and truly makes it an unforgettable dining experience. Palma's menu specializes in pizzas, pasta, steaks and seafood with with an artistic culinary flare. This isn't your neighborhood Italian eatery. This is pizzazz! Glitter! Glitz! Supplementing this is a raw oyster focus, elevated desserts and an extensive alcohol list. My boyfriend and I were ready to wine and dine at Palma for a date night and tried all parts of the menu. To start, we ordered the Charcuterie starter ($32) and the Smokin' Passion cocktail for me (Zomoz Mezcal, Passionfruit, Cynar, Agave, Lime, Bitters - $19). For entrees, I chose the Chimichurri Infused Scallops ($42) with side of asparagus ($12) while my better half chose the 10oz ribeye ($58) with Roasted Fingerling Potatoes ($14) and Red Bliss Mashed Potatoes ($16). First let's talk about this cocktail because I am absolutely - and rightfully so - obsessed! The presentation is classy with a Palma branded ice cube and dehydrated lime slice which is already appealing; but the drink itself is AMAZING! Smoky, hazy, but hints of fruit and stiff: you can not go wrong! I want one right now just typing this! The Charcuterie didn't skimp on cheese and meat selections with four cheeses and three meats plus olives, apricots and these tiny marinaded, pickled vidalia onions that you guessed it: I was obsessed with! My Chimichurri Infused Scallops were artfully plated with fresh herbs and flowers and the scallops were large and buttery soft. My only complaint was that they were bland to me and NOT infused with chimichurri as I expected but rather sitting inside a ring of scallops. Not bad but just not what I envisioned. The asparagus was steamed to al dente perfection and tossed with oil and salt and pepper - simple but tasty although they were oddly very translucent. I personally very much enjoyed my boyfriend's ribeye finding it to taste of grilled perfection but he found that characteristic to be a bit overpowering so it is a matter of opinion. The fingerling potatoes were also simply delicate but the Red Bliss Mashed Potatoes (which was served in a huge heap) was the star of the side show! We devoured this! Although not a perfect dinner; Palma still wins the game and felt satisfactory. I've already gained weight in the last few months so what is more food?! Bring it on! My boyfriend and I shared a dessert of berry cobbler with a struesel topping and melting vanilla ice cream. I found this to be a perfect combination of tart berries, streusel and oozing vanilla but my love said the berries were too tart. What does he know?! I kid I kid (I love you babe!). I will be honest: Palma is NOT light on the wallet so best for a special evening out. Unless you are made of money then feel free to frequent Palma! The Jumbo Sweet Scallops (5 stars +) is my favorite or the best dish for the day while the grilled branzino is also excellent (5 stars), so as the Passion Pistachios. You may not easily find either Jumbo Sweet Scallops or Passion Pistachios with the ultimate taste in Los Angeles. On the other hand, the appetizers are average but also expensive. This Italian restaurant in Burbank, CA really shines with many seafood dishes or some high-priced steaks, but the price is very high, which maybe one of the reasons the Yelp rating is below 4.5. I will come back again just for two main courses dishes, as well as the desert referenced above while saving money to avoid appetizers. We talked with the manager in the weeks prior and he took notes and ensured all of the details were taken care of. The decor and chairs were so cozy and beautiful. Each of the chairs for the tables is like a chair you would have in your living room. So comfy! The bartender Casey did a fantastic job! We enjoyed a manhattan and the spicy guava margarita--both delicious. Our menu was the pre-fixed menu. The bread was delicious, and the arugula salad was tasty as well and a good portion. For the main, I had the 8 oz steak with potatoes. Very tasty and well seasoned. Dessert was AMAZING! I've been here twice. I like to go to new restaurants a couple of times before reviewing, just in case they are having an off night. Money wise, both times were a bit of a splurge. The price point is on par with higher end restaurants. The service is good. They were nice and attentive. The whole service vibe felt relaxed and unrushed. The ambiance is plush. My only complaint would be the couches/booths inside the restaurant. They are really hard to get in and out of because of the armrests. You have to squeeze through or move the table in order to stand up. The food was good. I wouldn't say it was phenomenal, but a solid dining experience. I did enjoy the steak tartare. I finally had the chance to come here after walking by it so many times. I came with my wife and sister to grab dinner, I made reservations through OpenTable. They have valet parking if you want to use that which is 15 dollars but there free parking across the street at the police station or a underground parking garage right next to the restaurant. We got seated quickly and the restaurant was not busy. The restaurant is beautiful inside with the style, finish and overall look. Our waiter was Kevin and we got seated toward the back of the restaurant. My wife and sister started off with the Rose Palma wine and I got a coke. My coke was flat so I asked if I could get another one but Kevin said their CO2 tank was emptied so no soda is available. I made sure that we didn't get charge for it and had to stick to water. For our entree, my sister got the Seafood Cavatelli pasta .. my wife got th Chilean Sea Bass which they said they completely change the way they make it and I got the ribeye 10oz at medium rare. I asked for regular fries and my wife got the mushroom for the table. Our food took a while to come out but we mostly enjoy our food. I thought my steak needed more salt and at some part it was overcooked but I still like it. I would come back again to try something else and hopefully their soda machine is working. read more

Overall we had an enjoyable time , I would say the service by Richard was phenomenal and was indeed the highlight of the night. My only one reservation was I didn't really like that they sold us on a pre fixed menu due to party size as It was a slow night for the restaurant it seemed so I don't think Ordering from a pre fixed menu would've made a difference. I would've liked to have more of a choice as far as ordering. Nonetheless the food we got were the following: Cesar salad, French onion soup, arugula and pomegranate salad, filet mignon and gelato or beignet. Salads were good, but I think the soup was better. Steak was cooked to everyone's liking. The Beignet was more of a cream puff dipped in chocolate (underwhelming). But the tiramisu gelato was delicious. I would say my favorite was the house made focaccia and pizza we ordered in the beginning. For starters we ordered : -garlic butter shrimp/ prawns (which ended up being my fave thing ) - oxtail parpadelle, it was good but nothing spectacular - primavera pasta (solid 8/10) - lobster pasta , was lacking flavor in my opinion The waitress and management were very nice , however the waitress charged us for two entrees that we originally ordered but they don't have and she forgot to remove them from our bill (she came back to tell us that they were out ; so we changed our order). They did void the order after I brought it up to their attention , but had to recharge the correct order . So our card was charged twice and we had to wait a few days for the voided charge to go through. I would recommended to pay attention to your check . Palma is one of those places that just keeps getting better every time I go. The food never misses -- the seafood tower, yellowtail carpaccio, Wagyu NY steak, and the pastas (especially the wild mushroom and braised beef) are all so good. Even the Caesar salad and burrata with tomatoes stand out. Their mocktails are actually great, and they're happy to make most drinks non-alcoholic, which I really appreciate. Thursday nights with the DJ make it such a fun spot for a girls' night, and dessert is a must -- the Oreo ice cream and the ice cream & gelato bar are the perfect way to end the night. Also, shoutout to Arthur, the manager -- he's super sweet and accommodating and really makes the experience even better. Solid food, good vibes, and a place I'll keep coming back to. read more

I was expecting a really fine dine vibe based from their social media posts, but it felt short. The place looks really tight. Couches next to each other, you would need to move the whole couch or table to be able to sit in. First impression wasn't great. We were waiting by the entrance where the desk was then another party just went straight to the door and was met by the host. It's okay that happens so we moved on. We were seated by the general manager for the day. We had much time to look over the menu, 20 minutes or so have passed. We still haven't met our server for the night. Another party were seated after us and their server was already getting their orders. At this point, we were so clueless where our server is. I believe the GM saw what was happening and came to our table. Anthony was very friendly and attentive. He then introduced us to our server, Victoria who was also lovely. I ordered Carrot Ginger soup expecting for a twist, there wasn't unfortunately. We ordered Frenched Bone-in Cowboy Ribeye 22 oz for sharing and it came really smaller than expected and they cooked it as well-done. We asked our server to change it to our order as medium and she did quickly. The steak was cooked perfectly, it was delicious. We also ordered Chilean Sea Bass, most of my party loved it but it tasted a bit salty for me. The Chicken Portofino tasted really well, the chicken was soft and the mushroom sauce had much flavor. We also ordered cocktails and a mocktail. The canary was put in cute glass. We loved our drinks. Overall, it was a good dinner despite some gaps we experienced with the service in the beginning. Price is above average. We didn't try any pasta so I guess it's something to try in the future. I do hope they would have another host who will be just staying the front. read more

The ambiance was very upscale, and the comfortable sofas made the space feel relaxing. The staff were extremely friendly. The sea bass was not salty at all and absolutely delicious. The oysters were very fresh. I would recommend the shrimp salad over the octopus salad. read more

Best food so far in Glendale and burbank area !!!I have many spots that i like , rated all of them 5 stars but this one deserves 10 for the food quality and tase ! been here 3 times already- 1st of all risotto with fresh truffle FANTASTIC , their Caesar salad is the original one with anchovies like in Europe -Perfection. Thin sliced sashimi's- great. Dessert - loved Spanish cheesecake . The atmosphere is calm , everything super clean,nice music playing . Stuff super polite and professional. The only suggestion also selfish request we have - pls change operation hours)) i would be there every other day but you guys open only at 5pm we would love to it to open at lease 3 pm))) doing great good job read more

Came to Palma Ristorante to celebrate a conjoint birthday and honestly had no idea what to expect since we hadn't heard of it before--but wow, what a gem! The place is stunning and feels so fancy the moment you walk in. Our server was super helpful with recommendations and made sure each dish was presented beautifully. The food was absolutely superb I genuinely enjoyed everything I tried. Also, the hibiscus drink I ordered was so refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. A really sweet touch was when the owner came by to chat with us and made our birthday dessert extra special. It's those little moments that make a dinner feel extra memorable.
