Complimentary Garlic Knots

I love having a great local Italian restaurant! It's in a plaza which makes parking very convenient and it's a very cozy vibe inside. We always come back for just the hot honey pizza and the shrimp scampi. They are very very good. Service is always good too. I knock off one star because it can be inconsistent where one day it's very good and another day it's just okay but I still keep coming back!

We had a great evening at this neighborhood italian restaurant. Not sure if the man was the owner or the manager... but he took care of us from the moment we arrived. Offered us drinks while we waited for our table which was not long at all. Our server was friendly & attentive. The owner/manager came personally to check on our table... and even joked around with us. That alone made our evening. But it's not gonna be a great evening if the food was not good. And glad the food was fantastic. After dinner, they sent us a budino on the house which was absolutely delicious.

I found this hidden gem tucked away in a Vons parking lot! I'm not gonna lie the location had me skeptical but as soon as we stepped inside we knew we found the perfect date night spot. The ambiance was so fun and had a cute romantic vibe. The inside is a bit small but it adds to the cute romantic atmosphere. The staff was INCREDIBLE. I wish I got our waiters name but he was extremely nice and attentive. His suggestions were great and he was very kind. The garlic knots were delicious! I will say the vodka pasta wasn't my favorite. I am a big spicy vodka gal and this one didn't really blow me away but it was good. My family enjoyed their dishes as well. Ambiance: 5 Staff: 5 Food: 4

BURRATA CAPRESE

We came back here for the fifth time, and it somehow keeps getting better every visit. The first four times we came were during COVID when they were doing al fresco dining, and even then the experience was amazing so we already knew the food was something special. This time dining in again just confirmed it. Every single item we ordered was absolutely delicious perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. You can tell there's real consistency in the kitchen, which is rare and so appreciated. They start you off with warm garlic knots, which are honestly addictive and set the tone right away. On top of the incredible food, the service really stood out. Carlos, our server, was attentive, friendly, and super engaging with the table without ever being overbearing. He made the whole experience feel welcoming and personal. The ambiance was perfect for a group of friends or a romantic date night. Safe to say, we'll definitely be back again (and again). Highly recommend!

calamari - 3/5

We visited MA's Italian Kitchen for the first time to celebrate a birthday lunch, and we were not disappointed! Apart from the amazing food, our server Rene was what really made our experience great. This is a great spot in Burbank for any occasion. Appetizers Bruschetta (5/5) - The tomatoes and microgreens were extremely fresh and marinated well, I definitely recommend getting 8 instead of 4 since they were so good. Calamari (3/5) - Probably the only mid part of this whole meal, it was just.. ok... Mains Chicken Milanese (5/5) - The chicken was cooked perfectly, slightly crispy outside but extremely tender and juicy inside. The arugula and lemon vinaigrette also added a nice bright flavor. Meat Lasagna (5/5) - My dad always orders a lasagna when we eat Italian, and he said this is one of the best he's ever had! Ravioli Rosa (5/5) - Cheese ravioli with a pink sauce that is so good you eat the extra with bread. Definitely recommend! Dessert Butterscotch Budino (5/5!!!) - This was complimentary since we were celebrating a birthday, but wow I would absolutely order this again and be more than happy to pay for it. Even though the rest of our meal was all around fantastic, this was definitely the highlight. We ate it so fast I don't even have a picture of it. I 100% recommend MA's, and we will definitely be back!

MA'S CLASSIC SPAGHETTI & MEATBALLS

We ordered online for pick-up, very accessible website. When I picked up our orders, the restaurant was packed and there was a queue. We ordered Chicken Piccata, the chicken was so the tender and it was rich in flavor. My partner ordered Ma's Classic Spaghetti & Meatballs, the pasta was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious overall. This is definitely going to be on my list for an Italian dine-in experience in Burbank.

Fun table covers for kids

We love going there. They have great dishes and mid dishes. Pizza is amazing, Alfredo is a 10, and they have the best motzarella sticks, they have the best lasagna I've ever had at a restaurant, my sister loves their bolognese, the servers are always amazing. Even when they're busy. Now on to the mid, calamari is pretty bland, meatballs have a weirdly soft consistency and bland as well. But out of everything we tried those were the only things we didn't like. Service is truly amazing , I can't remember the servers name but he tall and good looking, he jokes around and tries to get you the food just as you ask. Manager is great, cooks do an amazing job. We did get food to go ones and it wasn't half as good as eating there. So definitely dine in. Super dog friendly, and super kid friendly , they have paper table toppers and give you crayons

We started with the delicious garlic knots. They came out warm and definitely a great way to start the meal. We also ordered a calamari to share. It was pretty good. Nothing special. We also got the Burrata Caprese appetizer to share and it came with a giant ball of Burrata on a bed of tomatoes, which was delicious. It was definitely my favorite appetizer. We tried to bowl the sweat pea soup. It was very watery. We got a Caesar salad to share with a table. It's a huge portion, so share it with the least four people. I got the mushroom ravioli. It was pretty good. The ravioli came in a marsala sauce and there were a lot of mushrooms. The only thing that I thought was a bit weird was that the ravioli were fried on one side before that they were before they were thrown in the sauce. We got the medium cut steak special, which came with asparagus and mashed potatoes. It was well cooked and tender. Highlight of the meal was the white pizza. If you get anything above a very small, make sure you share it with the table. We also got the vodka pasta. It's a pretty big portion well seasoned and quite delicious. For dessert, we had a tiramisu Panna cotta and pistachio cake. The Panna cotta was definitely the best and the pistachio cake was dry. Overall, pretty good experience for my birthday. We sat outside at the patio and it was nice and not too cold. The staff was very kind and accommodating. I can't wait to come visit again.

I really wanted to love this place. The reviews are amazing and we were finally able to go for lunch since dinner can be harder to get a reservation. We went pretty early so it was empty and the waiter was very nice. He explained the menu and was really helpful. The appetizer was fine (caprese) but unfortunately the main courses were not what we were hoping for. I ordered the cacio e Pepe with shrimp. The shrimp was crispy but to get that level of sear they had massively overcooked it. It was tough/ rubbery and really hard to eat. The sauce for the pasta was also pretty watery and flavorless. I never do this as I don't want to make people feel bad but I did end up sending it back. They brought out a margarita pizza instead which was also a bit weird. The middle was very soggy and there were large globs of cheese on top of another cheese layer which made the dish overwhelming. My husband had the bolognese. The sauce itself wasn't bad but the pasta was overcooked. I felt really bad as the people working there were all so nice but unfortunately we just didn't like the food.

CHICKEN PICCATA

Amazing! Cozy and delicious Italian food that warms the heart and soul. First time here and was greeted by the owner Michel. He led us to our table and we were lucky to get a table inside. Do make a reservation if you can. The restaurant has limited seating inside with some extra seating in their covered outside patio. Our waiter asked if we had dined here before and let us know about their specials. We started off with some complimentary garlic knots - soft, garlicky, and sprinkled with Parmesan. We ordered a large house salad to share- good for about 3-4 people. We also ordered the Chicken Piccata and Chicken Marsala, both $28 each. The chicken was JUICY and both saucy sauces were finger licking good. The piccata was lemony and the Marsala had good umami flavor with the mushrooms. It's comes with a side of olive oil/garlic pasta and it's the perfect amount of food. Best of both worlds. We were gifted a free Butterscotch BUDINO for dessert, since it was our first time here, and that was such a sweet touch. The BUDINO was GOOD. Salted caramel and custard/pudding go hand and hand. They also have a beer and wine menu , plus soft drinks, tea , and coffee. Plenty of parking too in this shopping center. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with delicious food and wonderful service. Felt like home.

The complimentary garlic knots were the best. Yummy Best lasagna too Busy little place so mar Ravi

Lasagna. Chef somehow over-salted this dish. Ample portion but if it's inedible, why bother.

An Italian go-to in Burbank that we hit often. It's really an odd spot, but they make it wotk, and when it's bustling it feels like an old-school Italian Kitchen. Service is usually excellent, they have a great wine list, and the food is delicious!

From my first call to restaurateur Eric to make a reservation earlier in the week, the experience was as warm and personable as can be. Within minutes of our arrival, we were greeted by co-restaurateur Antonio, and we instantly felt like family at the beautiful, private table they had thoughtfully reserved for us by the window. Our wonderful server, Jessica, made the night even brighter. We started with some Peach Puree Bellini Prosecco that was crisp, refreshing, and beyond amazing. The food arrived with impressive speed, but the quality was truly second to none. My wife absolutely loved the special of the night--a Tiger Shrimp and Asparagus Linguini--and my Angus Beef Bolognese with savory short rib ragu was easily the best I've ever had. Antonio and Jessica checked on us frequently, chatting about the day and the amazing history of the restaurant. This was NOT just a night out at a "restaurant." This was quite literally getting together with family and having the time of our lives. Prosecco Trattoria is not "just another place to eat"--it is now our favorite home away from home for artfully prepared food and drinks. It usually comes with marinated diced tomatoes, but I always ask for them on the side. If you dine in, the sandwich comes with two deli sides. On my last visit, I got the potato salad and marinated artichokes and both were great. The potato salad was creamy, and the artichokes were super flavorful. For dessert, I tried the tiramisu, and it was a bit underwhelming. It had a slightly gritty texture. Since it's imported from Italy, I had high expectations, but I'm guessing it's shipped frozen, which might be why it didn't taste fresh. I wouldn't order it again. They also sell Italian cookies and gelato. The cookies are good, especially the raspberry ones. The gelato is really refreshing. I recommend mixing mango and raspberry if you like something tart, or trying the tiramisu flavor if you want something sweeter.
