RUINED MY BRTHDAY. I called to know how to make a reservation, followed their instructions to do it online. I followed the website's process and after completing it I received an email. I arrived to Ma's Italian Kitchen the day of my birthday to be embarrassed in front of my guests. Because the link they have available for reservations on their website doesn't work!! The manager couldn't answer me how am I supposed to know that the link doesn't work, he didn't offer any solutions, any discount, anything at all. I wanted to cry out of embarrassment. One of my friends found a much bigger and better Italian restaurant who took us 12 people right away. Hey Ma's Italian Kitchen if a piece of your website doesn't work, it shouldn't be there at all, embarrassing the customer is not at all a solution for the problem. If you are thinking about coming to Ma's Italian Kitchen, simply DON'T. There's better places in Burbank. Manager, I don't have the time or the interest to know which software you use for reservations. If the user journey of your website made my reservation invisible for your business, that's on your business not on me. I'm a customer and I did my part, you trying to pin this on me is very shameful.

We came back here for the fifth time, and it somehow keeps getting better every visit. The first four times we came were during COVID when they were doing al fresco dining, and even then the experience was amazing so we already knew the food was something special. This time dining in again just confirmed it. Every single item we ordered was absolutely delicious perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. You can tell there's real consistency in the kitchen, which is rare and so appreciated. They start you off with warm garlic knots, which are honestly addictive and set the tone right away. On top of the incredible food, the service really stood out. Carlos, our server, was attentive, friendly, and super engaging with the table without ever being overbearing. He made the whole experience feel welcoming and personal. The ambiance was perfect for a group of friends or a romantic date night. Safe to say, we'll definitely be back again (and again). Highly recommend!

We visited MA's Italian Kitchen for the first time to celebrate a birthday lunch, and we were not disappointed! Apart from the amazing food, our server Rene was what really made our experience great. This is a great spot in Burbank for any occasion. Appetizers Bruschetta (5/5) - The tomatoes and microgreens were extremely fresh and marinated well, I definitely recommend getting 8 instead of 4 since they were so good. Calamari (3/5) - Probably the only mid part of this whole meal, it was just.. ok... Mains Chicken Milanese (5/5) - The chicken was cooked perfectly, slightly crispy outside but extremely tender and juicy inside. The arugula and lemon vinaigrette also added a nice bright flavor. Meat Lasagna (5/5) - My dad always orders a lasagna when we eat Italian, and he said this is one of the best he's ever had! Ravioli Rosa (5/5) - Cheese ravioli with a pink sauce that is so good you eat the extra with bread. Definitely recommend! Dessert Butterscotch Budino (5/5!!!) - This was complimentary since we were celebrating a birthday, but wow I would absolutely order this again and be more than happy to pay for it. Even though the rest of our meal was all around fantastic, this was definitely the highlight. We ate it so fast I don't even have a picture of it. I 100% recommend MA's, and we will definitely be back!

We ordered online for pick-up, very accessible website. When I picked up our orders, the restaurant was packed and there was a queue. We ordered Chicken Piccata, the chicken was so the tender and it was rich in flavor. My partner ordered Ma's Classic Spaghetti & Meatballs, the pasta was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious overall. This is definitely going to be on my list for an Italian dine-in experience in Burbank.

I really wanted to love this place. The reviews are amazing and we were finally able to go for lunch since dinner can be harder to get a reservation. We went pretty early so it was empty and the waiter was very nice. He explained the menu and was really helpful. The appetizer was fine (caprese) but unfortunately the main courses were not what we were hoping for. I ordered the cacio e Pepe with shrimp. The shrimp was crispy but to get that level of sear they had massively overcooked it. It was tough/ rubbery and really hard to eat. The sauce for the pasta was also pretty watery and flavorless. I never do this as I don't want to make people feel bad but I did end up sending it back. They brought out a margarita pizza instead which was also a bit weird. The middle was very soggy and there were large globs of cheese on top of another cheese layer which made the dish overwhelming. My husband had the bolognese. The sauce itself wasn't bad but the pasta was overcooked. I felt really bad as the people working there were all so nice but unfortunately we just didn't like the food.

We started with the delicious garlic knots. They came out warm and definitely a great way to start the meal. We also ordered a calamari to share. It was pretty good. Nothing special. We also got the Burrata Caprese appetizer to share and it came with a giant ball of Burrata on a bed of tomatoes, which was delicious. It was definitely my favorite appetizer. We tried to bowl the sweat pea soup. It was very watery. We got a Caesar salad to share with a table. It's a huge portion, so share it with the least four people. I got the mushroom ravioli. It was pretty good. The ravioli came in a marsala sauce and there were a lot of mushrooms. The only thing that I thought was a bit weird was that the ravioli were fried on one side before that they were before they were thrown in the sauce. We got the medium cut steak special, which came with asparagus and mashed potatoes. It was well cooked and tender. Highlight of the meal was the white pizza. If you get anything above a very small, make sure you share it with the table. We also got the vodka pasta. It's a pretty big portion well seasoned and quite delicious. For dessert, we had a tiramisu Panna cotta and pistachio cake. The Panna cotta was definitely the best and the pistachio cake was dry. Overall, pretty good experience for my birthday. We sat outside at the patio and it was nice and not too cold. The staff was very kind and accommodating. I can't wait to come visit again.

MAS Italian is the kind of neighborhood spot that gets a lot right--and knows exactly what people come for. First, the garlic knot bread. Soft, fresh, cheesy, and borderline dangerous. No butter, no olive oil--completely unnecessary. These disappear before you even realize it. The pastas carry the meal. The spaghetti comes with three impressively large meatballs--pork and veal, tender to the point of almost falling apart, with Parmesan worked in so each bite has that rich, savory depth. Comforting in the best way. The rigatoni holds its own too, with sauce that actually clings instead of pooling. The only dip: the chicken piccata and veal marsala. The piccata could've used a brighter lemon lift, and the marsala felt a bit shy--the wine didn't quite step forward the way you hope. Perfectly fine, just overshadowed by stronger dishes. Food came out at a reasonable pace, but service overall felt a bit rushed. Ben did a great job introducing the dishes, though plates were cleared quickly with frequent check-ins--just enough to make you feel like you needed to speed things up. Overall, generous, satisfying, and easy to like. Not flawless, but very easy to come back to--especially if those garlic knots are involved.

Amazing! Cozy and delicious Italian food that warms the heart and soul. First time here and was greeted by the owner Michel. He led us to our table and we were lucky to get a table inside. Do make a reservation if you can. The restaurant has limited seating inside with some extra seating in their covered outside patio. Our waiter asked if we had dined here before and let us know about their specials. We started off with some complimentary garlic knots - soft, garlicky, and sprinkled with Parmesan. We ordered a large house salad to share- good for about 3-4 people. We also ordered the Chicken Piccata and Chicken Marsala, both $28 each. The chicken was JUICY and both saucy sauces were finger licking good. The piccata was lemony and the Marsala had good umami flavor with the mushrooms. It's comes with a side of olive oil/garlic pasta and it's the perfect amount of food. Best of both worlds. We were gifted a free Butterscotch BUDINO for dessert, since it was our first time here, and that was such a sweet touch. The BUDINO was GOOD. Salted caramel and custard/pudding go hand and hand. They also have a beer and wine menu , plus soft drinks, tea , and coffee. Plenty of parking too in this shopping center. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with delicious food and wonderful service. Felt like home.

Lasagna. Chef somehow over-salted this dish. Ample portion but if it's inedible, why bother.

An Italian go-to in Burbank that we hit often. It's really an odd spot, but they make it wotk, and when it's bustling it feels like an old-school Italian Kitchen. Service is usually excellent, they have a great wine list, and the food is delicious!

random find on yelp, and it felt so homey when we walked in! beat the rush and got seated right away - our server Seth was amazing and gave us amazing recs! the portions are pretty big so id definitely recommend sharing a few dishes. since it was our first time he also gave us dessert on the house! the bread they gave out as a starter was also amazing, we were saving half to eat with our pasta dishes. * butternut squash ravioli * penne alla vodka - soo good! * rigatoni bolognese * small hot honey pizza - the best pizza! glad they had it available in multiple sizes * butterscotch budino - noticed it was the most popular on yelp so i'm glad we got to try it!

Romantic and homey ambiance-- seems to attract lots of regulars. We got the Bruschetta as appetizer, and the Cacio E Pepe and Mushroom Ravioli. Our server Bob made us feel so comfortable and gave us great suggestions for our first visit. Will be coming back specifically for the butterscotch bundino. Left no bits of it behind. Was in the mood for Italian after eating turkey and ham for the last two days from thanksgiving. Was in Glendale and searched and found Mas Italian Kitchen which was highly rated. After visiting, I can see why. It likely would have been a five star review but unfortunately with nothing an advanced reservation we could only be seated in the patio. Which is covered with heaters. However, it was not the best idea for me to sit on an outside patio for a first visit. Inside looks very nice and comfortable so hopefully next time I'll have an opportunity to eat inside. Now the food. We were provided some good garlic knots. They were fresh and flavorful and easily could ruin your meal if you ate too many. I had a mixed green salad that was well dressed with a nice cheesy blue cheese dressing. It was the small stater salad but it was huge. For my entree I went with the rigatoni bolognese. It was a hearty dish with melted cheese and I really enjoyed it. Other got the chicken parm which came with two nicely sized cutlets. Also we ordered a vegan pasta dish that was devoured. No dessert on this trip but like sitting inside, maybe next time.

From my first call to restaurateur Eric to make a reservation earlier in the week, the experience was as warm and personable as can be. Within minutes of our arrival, we were greeted by co-restaurateur Antonio, and we instantly felt like family at the beautiful, private table they had thoughtfully reserved for us by the window. Our wonderful server, Jessica, made the night even brighter. We started with some Peach Puree Bellini Prosecco that was crisp, refreshing, and beyond amazing. The food arrived with impressive speed, but the quality was truly second to none. My wife absolutely loved the special of the night--a Tiger Shrimp and Asparagus Linguini--and my Angus Beef Bolognese with savory short rib ragu was easily the best I've ever had. Antonio and Jessica checked on us frequently, chatting about the day and the amazing history of the restaurant. This was NOT just a night out at a "restaurant." This was quite literally getting together with family and having the time of our lives. Prosecco Trattoria is not "just another place to eat"--it is now our favorite home away from home for artfully prepared food and drinks. She made our experience delectable, truly! Noticed every detail, and with warm humor. She recommended my husband read the desert menu aloud, for the romance of it all. And it works and that's true! Hehe I ordered the 4-cheese Ravioli in tomatoe sauce, and it's unlike any I've EVER had. It's about 5 inches in diameter, round+ mostly flat, and not too salty. Absolutely delicious! Jessica offered to sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top, the service! Unmatched. The Italian seasoning added to the tomatoe sauce, makes it sweeter, aromatic. If you're familiar with my reviews, I'm always searching for vegetarian options. For desert we had the Panna Cotta with wild berries. Excellent, yummy! And we kept it cozy, with mint hot tea. Which is always a go-to around the Xmas holidays. The decor is northern Italian elegance: hand painted art, crystal chandeliers, and white linens abound. Reminds me of when we hiked the hills of Tuscany. With the holiday touch of twinkle lights and fresh winter floral bouquets. It seems most locals frequent here: Are known by name, and had the front door held open for them if elderly. What sweet, kindness and local vibes. We'll be back, to try perhaps the chicken the hubby says. :) Thank you all for an exceptional, romantic Sunday night dinner with my Hubby, during the holidays.

On my last visit, I got the potato salad and marinated artichokes and both were great. The potato salad was creamy, and the artichokes were super flavorful. For dessert, I tried the tiramisu, and it was a bit underwhelming. It had a slightly gritty texture. Since it's imported from Italy, I had high expectations, but I'm guessing it's shipped frozen, which might be why it didn't taste fresh. I wouldn't order it again. They also sell Italian cookies and gelato. The cookies are good, especially the raspberry ones. The gelato is really refreshing. Upon entering there are shopping carts and baskets. Take a rolling one (trust me) and get ready for a wonderful store filled with food stuffs that will make you swoon. The neatly stacked shelves are filled with things like chocolate, jam, pasta, tinned seafood, chips, and pasta are all neatly organized. Tags indicating country of origin (largely from Europe) are helpful. There are refrigerators full of charcuterie, cheese, and French butter. Freezers have ready to bake breads and pastries from a bakery in Canada. It's actually quite overwhelming (in a very good way), if you don't know what you need. You'll definitely see lots of things you want. The people that work here seem happy and are very helpful. When we were looking at chips, one of the employees shared his favorites. The best part of the visit was meeting the owner. He was enthusiastic and extremely informative! He told us that everything in the store was sampled and scrutinized for taste and quality. He knew everything about the products and why they were sourced. He helped me find a delicious arbequina olive oil from Italy and tins of sardines packed it butter. Swoon. By the end of our visit my basket was full! While the items here are pricey I truly think that the quality is worth it. Parking is plentiful and conveniently located just outside. The store is clean and well organized. Bring your own reusable shopping bags because you'll need it for all the wonderful goodies. Definitely returning! Pure electricity that took my friggin' breath away. I was overwhelmed as I stumbled around with my kid who also was in awe. The staff are fantastic. Eric is a master Jedi and was so thoughtful, energetic, detailed and soooooo fun with his descriptions, guidance and suggestions. I am was so so happy to hear that that this place is extending its square footage as well. (Thank you Eric for sharing and showing us the new space!). I don't know what to say. You just have to go. Imagine yourself in some great food adventure and you enter a vast other wordly cathedral filled with gems and golden treasure. That's Epicurus Gourmet. I've been in LA for well over three decades and its rare that I am frozen in my footsteps when walking into a new spot - but this place did it. A vast Disneyland of tinned fish, butters, pastas, meats, chocolate, spices, so so much more. Honestly, for anyone passionate about food and cooking, it may make you cry visiting this spot. Perfection. Go. Many thanks to Eric and the entire staff for making our first visit with you wildly memorable and deeply enjoyable. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Soooooooooo glad you are nearby!
