    Chicken Marsala

Came by on a Saturday for dinner and the restaurant was fairly busy. Service was a little slow because they were short staffed but they were friendly and did their best to keep things moving. I had the chicken marsala, which was flavorful and tender. The portion size was good but i wish a side of pasta was included. I would come back, especially on a less busy night.

This place was highly recommended to me by a friend and is very convenient to my job so my husband and I decided to drop in for a weeknight dinner. They have a mix of inside and outdoor seating (with heaters) and had no problems getting seated right away. Once we were seated the service was a little slow to get menus and water but after we ordered the waitstaff were very attentive throughout the night. The food was very tasty! We got the Pizza Ruggola and Spaghetti Clams & Calamari. I honestly don't have a favorite and if it's your first time here I would definitely recommend getting a pizza and pasta so you can get both. Overall the noodles tasted really fresh and the goat cheese on the pizza was the perfect pop of taste. Pricing wise it's just a little on the pricey side but not terribly crazy.

Came in on Friday 6pm dinner time. Here are my pros and cons below: Pros: - Food is so good, so fresh! - Server was friendly - Clean and tidy establishment - Best calamari I've had Cons: - Took a while to get my order (about 30 minutes) - Didn't get table touch, only time was for drinks, order, and had to call them to close the bill and get to go box - Street parking only, you may have to walk a block or two at worst. Or you may get lucky and find parking at their street. If it wasn't that busy, the experience would be 10/10. Will try them again when it's less busy because I do love their food!

Used to go here in person years ago and remembered it being good but just ordered it via door dash and it was horrible. Not just the food, but the preparation. See photo below.... nothing like finding a lettuce stump in your caesar salad to whet the appetite. This isn't hard during prep to make sure it's not included in someone's meal. But it speaks to the overall meal. My wife had rigatoni arrabiata with salmon and found a piece of plastic in it, unfortunately by biting it. My cheese pizza was just that - cheese. Soooo much cheese. Basically a circle of pizza crust with a mountain of melted cheese in the middle. It wasn't sliced. Hard to when the pizza dough was so thin and moist under it that you couldn't cut out a slice and pick it up. To salvage this disaster, I cut appropriate amounts of cheese to lay on top of the pizza crust and ate it like that. Threw the rest out. Mozzerella sticks - oh yeah more like slabs. Melted and split apart in the box so that was a gooey box of cheese with some breaded crust mixed in. Nothing to actually pick up with my fingers and dip into the sauce. The sauce, which was tomato water. Back to the salad. How hard is it to offer a halfway decent caesar salad when you're charging $14? This was made by someone who did not give a d**n enough to not include the lettuce stump (I get it, it happens, but if it was the only issue I wouldn't be writing this) and then it's just romaine, a few cherry tomatoes, parm slabs and then canned parm shake (way too much of that also) and some bread crumbs. Dressing was like vinaigrette. Let me add that I don't like bashing a restaurant. I know it's a tough business having worked in several when I was younger. But there's no excuse for sending out a meal this carelessly prepared that costs over $100. Nomo Novo for us.

My first experience here in 2021 blew me away! I loved the quaint feel of the outdoor patio, and how the service was top notch. I remembered the perfect crust on the cheesy pizza and how the pasta melted in my mouth. We returned last night for a birthday dinner with family. We made a reservation and we were seated on the patio. Our server attended to all of our drinks and we ordered lots of food. We had the mozzarella sticks, cheese pizza, a gluten free vegetable pizza, the Burrata toast (wow!!!) and lots of pasta dishes. We ordered the salmon, I had the carbonara pasta gluten free with a ball of Burrata on the side, we had the bolognese pasta, and the Caprese chicken with potatoes. All of the dishes were devoured! I can't say enough nice things about this restaurant. I will 100% return. Quality of food, portions, service, atmosphere all deserves a 10/10

Cute little cafe with an expansive menu. We stopped in for a quick dessert and were pleasantly surprised with the variety of options. The waitstaff was kind and friendly. We were seated and served quickly. Would definitely recommend a stop if you're in Burbank!

Gluten free pasta on the menu?

Are there roaches in the bathroom?

No there are not that I've seen

Do they offer free refills on cokes?

I don't believe so, they serve from behind the counter. If you go before dinner, it is more of a grab tour own water and order at the counter. Dinner is table service.

Last time I order from this place. ****Response to the snarky comment from the pizza boy below: 2nd time I order today with hopes I get the correct pizza--I ordered a Texas and an Armenian. You sent me a Texas and a sad, lonely cheese pizza like I asked for disappointment with extra crust. I had to go through the hassle of getting a refund from Uber Eats just to maybe get the right thing this time. Amazing. But you know what's really sad? You reaching out, not to own the mistake or fix anything, but to get defensive. Like, that's your move? Not "sorry we messed up," but "let me double down on being clueless." Iconic. If this is your idea of customer service, I genuinely hope your business thrives--in the same way Blockbuster did. Keep it up. Parking was a bit tricky to find because the restaurant is at the street corner and there is no designated parking lot. We tried to find parking in the alley area, but those are designated for another restaurant, so we got lucky and a street parking spot opened up on Alameda. The restaurant has a couple tables inside and some tables in their outside patio. The tables inside are bar height. We were greeted with menus right away and was told the pastas weren't currently available. We ordered two of their pizzas, Pazza pizza and Prosciutto pizza, and two of their salads, Caesar and Antipasto. I really enjoyed the salads and the prosciutto pizza. The Pazaa pizza was good too but the cheese was very filling for me. If you love cheese, you have to try the Pazza. Ingredients are all very fresh! I would recommend ordering ahead of time because the pizzas did take awhile to make and bake, but luckily they had TV on so we watched TV while waiting. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely order takeout from here.

My better half and I have been to the Studio City location, but it was our first time at the Burbank one. There's street parking all around but it's not mission impossible in these parts. Inside is not too big but not too small (just right!). You order at the counter and they bring the pizza to you. We ordered the Pepperoni Ultimo (pepperoni, green bell peppers, pineapple, buffalo sauce) along some Mexican cokes. It took a bit for the pizza to be ready, but anything worth doing is worth doing right. The pizza is definitely on the doughier side, so if that's how you enjoy you zza this is the place to be. Other reviewers have commented that the pizza is very "doughy," but I love that. It has a perfect crispy/chewy consistency and thickness, I think. I've ordered delivery a few times and the pizza is so freshly made that you had to hold each slice to keep the ingredients from sliding off. My fave pizza is the Zucha, which has pumpkin, olives, feta, zucchini, red bell pepper, and spinach. I know it's a little bit of a weird pizza and for parties, I'll usually order just a personal Zucha for myself and anyone who wants to try along with the more crowd-pleasing pizzas. But I love unique menu items and this combo is just so delicious together. Lucifer's is just a tad pricey to be our usual pizza go-to, but I always look forward to ordering from here.

The pictured wings are raw. On top of this, when I picked up my food no one assisted me for almost 10 minutes and there was just this rude employee staring at me through the kitchen area. It's a shame that this place has tanked in food quality but also service. I was going to bring my out of state friend here to give her review on this food but now I don't think I will ever return. Lastly, the owner has no problem shoving his beliefs down our throats with the flag hung up outside. Making food political is cringe. Worshipping a felon like Jesus is also anti-christian.
