    Chicken Shawarma Plate
    Steven R.

Went to Cela Cafe last night for the first time very since my husband and I love Mediterranean food and are also trying to eat a bit more healthy. This place was absolutely phenomenal. Let's start with the service shall we. The two people working were incredibly helpful at helping us navigate the menu as well as providing some great suggestions. This is counter service but since we ate there on their patio they brought our food and even set real silverware and our plates down for us. Next let's talk about the ambiance. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is small but where this place shines is their back door patio. It's super cute, warm, and very inviting. The person working even turned a heater on for us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lastly, the food. Omg delicious I had the chicken shawarma plate (pictured) and my husband had the beef shawarma plate. Both were amazing and very delicious. All in all, it was great experience and we will absolutely return.

Absolutely loved Cela Cafe. This place is the real deal. The food is so good and genuinely authentic you can taste the care and tradition in every dish. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. [[HIGHLIGHT]]What really made the experience though was the energy. The vibe was warm, welcoming, and full of life.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My boyfriend and I came here and had an amazing time laughing, sharing plates, and just enjoying the moment. It felt like one of those places where food brings people together the way it's supposed to[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. If you're looking for authentic Mediterranean food with great vibes and an unforgettable group experience, Cela Cafe is it. We'll definitely be back.

Stopped in after the Holiday in the Park event and it was the perfect place to wind down with good food. All of the team members are friendly and make sure you're comfortable and feel welcome. They recommended the chicken kebab plate and it was a good portion to share for two. We opted to sit in the patio section in the back and it was really nice to get away from all the busy-ness in the streets and have a secluded spot to eat. Staff were attentive to keeping spaces clean and bathrooms were very nice. They were also dog-friendly!

This sweet cafe is in the heart of Magnolia Park and it is a must visit. The staff were so warm and welcoming. There is a variety of delicious items on the menu. But the best thing about Cela Cafe is definitely the ambiance. The outdoor patio is so relaxing. It's perfect for a solo lunch or a lovely group dinner. Highly recommend this spot.

Love Cela! My go-to is the Falafel Wrap which is full of falafel, tahini, lemon dressing, cucumbers, tomatoes, and lettuce. The pickled veggies on the side are *chefs kiss*. Service is fast, so it's the perfect place to grab a bite quickly to go or on a quick work break. They have lovely seating indoors or a gorgeous courtyard outside in the back. Staff is so sweet and there are so many options on the menu, including vegan - of course. Love a solid spot for falafel!

    Shakshuka Eggs

Always had their Lunch/Dinner and finally had a chance to stop for their breakfast menu. Fantastic Mediterranean espresso with some light cookies to start. Strong and just a small bit of sweetness (a no-sweet option is available). I had the Shakshuka eggs Very reminiscent of a Huevos Rancheros and honestly, this was so much better than any huevos rancheros I've had at any Mexican restaurant. Spicy (as requested) and very savory with the perfect easy/medium egg in a cast iron. I'd eat this every morning!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]For the espresso alone in their outdoor covered back patio is cause enough for an early morning stop with my dog (yes - pet friendly!) to enjoy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I really do hope to see this place busier as the staff is some of the nicest people I've met. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Located in a private area away from the busy Magnolia road, this is a nice place to sit and relax and enjoy good food at any time of the day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I was feeling hungry, craving a sandwich, and have no food at home. My options were to either go to…read morethe store, or to look up a good sandwich on Yelp! I'm sure you can guess which option I went for! I was surprised to find Roma Deli on the list as I had never realized it was so close-by from my usual morning start. Parking seems to be street parking but there was also a lot right next to the restaurant and I couldn't tell if it was for the Deli or not but I felt intimidated by someone who was standing in the lot staring at everyone that drove in so I parked on the street. On entering I was surprised that the restaurant is so spacious and smells so good inside. I was greeted by friendly staff and I spent quite a while admiring the large menu before making my choices. I decided that instead of going to the grocery store I would get a few sandwiches to take home and eat for a couple days so I can avoid the store a little longer lol. I ordered the Honey Turkey Sandwich, the Italian Combo sandwich which says it's one of their signature sandwiches, and the Roma's Special sandwich. I also ordered a size small Zucchini sticks. While I waited I noticed that the staff is so friendly that they even strike up conversations with guests about different topics and it looks like they have allot of regulars coming and going. I don't feel like I waited too long for my food, I browsed a little along the walls and sat for a little relaxing and before I knew it my number was being called. I paid and took the food with me and I could feel steam rising out of the bag, that's how fresh the zucchini was. I did not get to take a photo of the zucchini because I ate it the whole way home, and let me tell you that was the most generous size small portion I've ever seen. I love zucchini and these were lightly breaded and nice thick but well cooked cuts of zucchini. When I got home I decided to eat the Honey Turkey Sandwich first, I thought I'm just going to eat half and then put the rest away, but it was so delicious I ended up eating the full sandwich. The bread is a nice soft white roll, and the sandwich is bursting to the brim with all the ingredients. This deli is awesome, it reminds me of delis you see in the movies where everyone knows your name, and the food is so delicious. Now that I have discovered Roma Deli you know I'll be back, I need to try their paninis next!

I am incredibly fortunate to have gotten off the Uber Eats path and ordered directly from Roma Deli and it was a lot cheaper as well. Little Nelly may elicit a Whoa Nelly after your first try…read more I just wrapped up a takeout lunch, snack, and beverage from Little Nelly and felt compelled to work off all the extra calories I just consumed by doing some rapid typing exercise on Yelp. The shop is completely non-descript from the street. The lettering is small and the windows are tinted and you feel like you're about to enter a drab office, but when you open the door, you're treated to a feast for the senses. The space spans a mix of cafe, boutique gift shop, and bodega. Everything feels curated and little discoveries await you for those who are culinary minded. For example, I discovered that they sell frozen burritos from Las Palmas and frozen pizzas from Mozza?! Someone clearly knows their way across the culinary food map of Los Angeles. If you can pry your eyes long enough from wandering the corners of the store, you can finally place your order of breakfast, lunch or coffee/tea. I just took my cold cuts sandwich on house-made ciabatta to the proverbial mattress. The bread had enough structure to handle the piles of quality deli meats, yet was less dense than some other ciabatta breads I've tried. But, it did an admirable job packing in the flavors from the spicy peppers, cheese, meats. Wow. I'm just gonna say that this cold cuts sandwich was one of my top 3 from LA. As I grazed the bakery display, a patron whispered that I should try the biscuit with jam and butter. The guy was wearing Cheetos socks so I immediately felt that his recommendation was trustworthy. I threw in my lot with the biscuit and oh boy, did it (and his recommendation) deliver. Humble looking on the outside, there's a nice salted, buttery crust to the exterior that opens up to an inviting platform to slather on creamy butter and jam. I fully understand why he felt the extra calories were worth it. I'd do it again. Of course, I couldn't order a biscuit without a drink, so I tried their summery limoncello cream iced matcha with oat milk - summers in Kyoto and Sicily combine for a refreshing and satisfyingly creamy bever-"aaage" that adds some pep to your step, even when the mercury pushes past 100. Enjoyed with the biscuit, I was darn near ready to call it a day as I had probably experienced my best moment of the day. Little Nelly is officially on my weekly rotation from here on out.

I don't live in the area, but I have friends who do, and I often swing by when I'm in town because I also get my hair done at Dylan Keith salon nearby. What I love about it: it's a perfect place to pick up a thoughtful gift for the foodie in your life, and the food is consistently fantastic with something new to try each visit. The display and packaging feel special--even the jars add a cute touch. Recent highlights: I went with the Lil Guy sandwich with French ham and a chocolate chip cookie to-go. So good on the drive home to Orange County. I also grabbed a jar of their buttermilk dressing to save time at home, and I brought home a quiche and a biscuit--both were amazing. They rotate items based on what's in season, which keeps things exciting. Why I'll be back: it's a small business that truly cares about quality and presentation. The location is convenient, the staff are friendly, and there are plenty of tasty items to bring home, including make-at-home pizzas and a rotating seasonal lineup. If you're in the area, definitely stop by Little Nelly. It's a delightful spot with great food, thoughtful gifts, and a memorable neighborhood vibe.

And the generous side of caesar dressing is the very BEST I've ever had. Wish I could have saved it and slathered it on everything. The Turk sando was very good, but more like a 4/5. Solid fillings and good ratios, but not a WOWER. Added chips and 2 desserts: the chocolate chip cookie which was outrageous, loaded with chocolate in every bite, and the lemon olive oil cake was divine. Pro tip: do not skip out on the desserts. One of the seasonal specials is the Martha which is an upgraded version of chicken salad (Tarragon chicken salad, apples, shaved fennel, arugula, basil, lemon, garlic aioli on grilled Ciabatta, $16) which sounded pretty good. I placed the order online and headed over to this busy section of Studio City. Street parking can be tricky especially in the afternoon, and there are 'parking ticketers' out in force. This was my first time here at this location, but they had a handy takeout window at the one end, and a friendly guy handed me the bag. As for the food, I could only eat half of the sandwich; one reason is because it was a Lot of sandwich and second, I didn't really enjoy this for the most part (I did give the other half to a hungry co-worker who did like it). Then my favorite part, the cookies. I ordered two orders (two come in an order) so I had four to enjoy. The first bag was a decent sized pair of cookies, but they shafted me on the second order. This was basically one cookie cut to make two which was clearly noticeable compared to the other order. I was too far to return these but next time, it's something I will check on before leaving. I didn't have this problem the first time I came here (even though it was a different location) but as for anything, I recommend checking your order prior to leaving. Otherwise, I will be returning to Ggiata but maybe for a classic Turk or Antonia, or even the arancini side-
