You can see the hair on the BREAKFAST BURRITO
    A'kia S.

I had a very disappointing experience. My burrito was charred, and I found a hair in my food. When I contacted customer service, they initially seemed willing to help but then stopped responding and completely abandoned the conversation. The lack of follow-up was extremely unprofessional. The food is usually good, but finding hair in my meal was already concerning. Management's failure to address the issue or provide reassurance that it would not happen again made matters worse. Unfortunately, I can't continue eating at a restaurant that appears to take food-safety concerns this lightly.

    Nashville hot chicken sandwich

I was a very hungry girl and wanted a breakfast sandwich. My first stop had been a no go and then I discovered Bruxie on my Yelp search. I saw the reviews and photos and I knew I just had to stop by. Thankfully I had read the review about parking because it can definitely be confusing. Parking is street parking and a short walk to the restaurant. I did see a lot up ahead when I initially turned in the driveway but the sign looks like it's meant for a different business. I found parking right before Weddington and walked to Bruxie. On my way a shady character started following me and speaking to me and I power walked to the restaurant to get away. As I turned the corner I was greeted by friendly staff. There is someone behind the window to take orders but also someone outside the window able to take orders as well. After looking at the menu I orderd the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with a side of waffle fries, and also a breakfast burrito with a side of tots (that I planned to eat tomorrow morning). I paid and then waited in the shade of the outdoor seating which has allot of shade and it's a nice area to sit. My food was ready in maybe 15 to 20 minutes and then I walked back to my car as I had to get to my next destination. Unfortunately that shady man was waiting for me and when I rounded the corner he acted like he was ignoring me but then he started following me again!!! I ended up taking advantage of my long legs and I did a long legged power walk back to my car leaving him in the dust. People saw me walking so fast with such long strides and were looking at me like I'm crazy. When I looked back the man was still walking my way staring straight at me but thankfully he can't walk fast to catch up to me. The point of me writing about this is to be careful on this street, keep your eyes on your surroundings and do not get distracted staring at your phone. On my way driving to my destination I started nibbling on the waffle fries and they were so perfect! I don't know how to explain the puffy crunch that comes with them as you bite down. So perfectly crispy yet soft! I then decided to try the tots and they are perfection too! The perfect amount of spice that gives a hint of spicy but it's not overwhelming. I wasn't planning to eat both the fries and the tots but before you know it I arrived at my destination and both were in my belly! I then ate the Nashville chicken sandwich, absolutely delicious and generous portion, I love the taste again spicy but not overwhelming, it was perfect. My only wish is that the chicken could have been a thicker piece of chicken but it was a thin long piece. Other than that it definitely hit the spot. I am looking forward to eating my breakfast burrito tomorrow morning!

We stopped at Bruxie for lunch on our way to Central Library in DTLA. It was easy enough to find on Lankershim as we turned from Magnolia. Where to park wasn't clear to us but it didn't take long to find free street parking a short walk away on Weddington. Ordering at this location is through a walk up window. However today it was fully occupied by a team member handling pick-up orders. There was another team member who seemed to be taking orders as customers walked up, but was also helping with pick ups. This was a bit confusing so we just waited until someone approached us which didn't take long. The husband chose the Bruxie SmashBurger (+ egg), opting to make it a combo with Waffle Fries and soda. I had the Chicken & Waffles. It all came out pretty quickly. The husband said his SmashBurger was fresh, flavorful and perfectly prepared. He loved the waffle fries. My chicken tenders were nicely fried, moist on the inside and seasoned well. The waffle was light and crisp. It all came together with the whipped butter and pure maple syrup -- so good! Service was great. Team members checked on us and refilled drinks. I do appreciate that they have packs of moist towelettes easily available for customers.

My better half and I have walked past Bruxie for the longest time, always telling ourselves that we'll try them one day but never giving them a chance. Thankfully we finally caved in because we've been sleeping on this place for years! It's located off of Lankershim Blvd & Academy Way, basically next to the Laemmle Noho 7 and the Saban Media Center. Bruxie was kind of hard to gauge on how to order - there's a walk-up window for ordering and pick-up orders, but employees can also walk right up to you and place your order for you. You can also order online ahead, so yeah slightly confusing but as long as you put your order in you're golden. They have four big tables outside along with counter seating on the sidewalk. If it gets too hot or cold, they also have seating inside an old train car that is purely counters only. We sat inside the train car, but the only caveat is that people are constantly going in/out and they sometimes leave the door open. They also have a water station inside the train car if you want to cool off. My wife and I both ordered the Kickin' "Nashville" Hot Chicken Sandwich and we shared the Loaded Waffle-Cut Fries. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time - if you're dining there, the employees bring out your food wherever you are and provide plastic utensils along with sauces. The hot chicken sandos live up to their namesake, packing quite a kick! The loaded waffle fries hit the spot. If you're in NoHo looking for some good chicken & waffles, Bruxie will satisfy! We can't wait to come back and try more of their menu! They're open late too if you have some late night cravings (they close at midnight Thurs, Fri & Sat). There's street parking or you can park at the garage of the Saban Media Center.

The crisp on the stand alone waffle fries was remarkable. The crisp on the loaded waffle fries was not as good, but there was a generous amount of cheese and other toppings. Service was NEXT LEVEL friendly. The waitress was super attentive. You order at the window and then go eat in an old dining car. There have been so many restaurants at this location throughout the years that it is truly hard to keep up. This is my favorite one so far. The batter and crunch on the fried chicken waffle sandwich was incredible. Very smart concept. Hands down the best chicken-to-waffle bite ratio in the game. I liked this place. Great cheat meal.

The food here is simply good! I think it's fresh, tastes great, and definitely satisfies chicken cravings. What really sets this place apart for me is the level of service. The staff is SO nice and they make you feel like a person and not a transaction. Kudos to the people who help ring you out up front. Then there is eating in a little train car. I love that repurposed parts of our past exist in our built environment and can be used to make our communities feel unique.

delivery showed up late AND my breakfast burrito had not one, not two, but multiple hard chewy plastic-y pieces hiding in there.. second bite and i'm already doing forensics on my food. I had no choice but to toss the whole thing and that hurt my soul AND my wallet.

Classic chicken and waffles I've combo with a small side of MAC & CHEESE.
    Bianca G.

Guys! If you like food that's crispy, and full of flavor this place is it. Best chicken and waffles I've had in ages. The waffle is crunchy, and the chicken is full of flavor and crunch as well. Their Mac & Cheese felt home made, with better pasta, and really enjoyed their ranch, and honey mustard dips. Great flavored comfort food in a train cart ambiance was definitely a fun experience. Can't wait to go back.

    LEMON CREAM & BERRIES
    Akilah W.

It's a cozy spot and fun music was playing from the loud speakers. I love that there's opportunity to play games. There was Connect Four, Jenga, and some other games present. It's a nice spot to hang with a group of friends. The service was good. The workers were very friendly. The food that I had was just okay. I had the Green Goddess Grilled Chicken Salad. It definitely looked better than what it actually tasted like. It definitely needs more seasoning. Once salt and pepper were added to it, the salad tasted a little better. The chicken was good in it though. I also had the dessert item, Lemon Cream & Berries. It was pretty yummy. The waffle had a buttery taste. The lemon cream was tasty and the fruit was delish. I'm not sure that I would frequent this spot, but would be open to trying other things on the menu.

    Chicken and waffles.

I have tried their jumbo tenders and their chicken and waffles. This is more of a pick up kind of a place. There are places to sit but it seems most people take their food to go. Their jumbo tenders are solid. I have had them unseasoned, original seasoning, and hot honey. All are delicious. The tenders are moist. Don't let the name fool you. The size are a lil smaller than your typical hot chicken places. Their sauces seem to be mostly based around mustard. Their Bruxie sauce is my favorite. I've had better chili honey sauces from other places. They don't have the typical comeback sauce. I also enjoy their waffle fries. I will take waffle fries over regular fries any day. I love their chicken and waffles. Their waffles are light, soft and crispy. They are so good! My kids love them too. It comes with 2 jumbo tenders. Make sure to ask for Bruxie sauce because it only comes with maple syrup. Definitely recommend!

Excellent grilled chicken sandwich and $5 custard cup. Next time, instead of the waffle fries, I'll do unseasoned tots. Will come again. Service was friendly and everyone as super helpful and nice.

"THE ORIGINAL with a side of waffle fries and the STRAWBERRY "PALMER"
    CB C.

From the moment I walked up to the walk-thru window and was greeted with the warmest welcome by Juan, to the time I was seated on the sunny patio (with ample shade) and met with a refreshing strawberry "Palmer," to when I received my "Original" chicken sandwich with a side of waffle fries and hot honey sauce, everything tasted delicious! Juan provided 5-star customer service and was very knowledgeable walking me through the entire menu. Also, there's plenty of seating inside and outside. I would highly recommend Bruxie to my fellow Angelenos.

This is my first time ordering from Bruxie; I had heard so much about them, especially their waffle sandwiches Today I took advantage of their specials buy one get one free and it was a breakfast burrito Really good but a little too spicy for me although I had called and she told me did the chipotle, mayo, and the tater tots were not that spicy I should have deleted those two items I will know next time for sure to delete the spicy items Their breakfast burrito is delicious. It's toasted and have eggs, cheddar cheese tots, and chicken sausage...really good. Otherwise, paid $24 for both burritos since it was buy one get one free Next time, I'll try there waffle sandwich

Gorgeous interior, once a train car!

I customized my sub by asking for the avocado on the side and without pickle or onion. Mu wife sub was just with no tomatoes. The drinks options here are amazing, you have kool aid! They also have different kind of tea as well. This place also has a bar where you can get drinks. There enough seating to accommodate for most guest but I was just taking to go. They didn't take long to make my order and I had a great time chatting with the person preparing my order. He was very nice and energized with a upbeat attitude. He let me know that the sandwich was labeled so I would know which sub was which with the customization. It's street parking here or you can try to park in the little garage in the back, I just walked here. My sandwich was delicious and has a little kick to it. I will recommend that if you get the Kali Mist, you should eat it while it's fresh for the best taste. The sub will fill you up because it has so much toppings in it and they give you a decent amount too. My wife loved her sub as well beside the bacon since I forgot to ask for that on the side. On entering I was surprised that the restaurant is so spacious and smells so good inside. I was greeted by friendly staff and I spent quite a while admiring the large menu before making my choices. I decided that instead of going to the grocery store I would get a few sandwiches to take home and eat for a couple days so I can avoid the store a little longer lol. I ordered the Honey Turkey Sandwich, the Italian Combo sandwich which says it's one of their signature sandwiches, and the Roma's Special sandwich. I also ordered a size small Zucchini sticks. While I waited I noticed that the staff is so friendly that they even strike up conversations with guests about different topics and it looks like they have allot of regulars coming and going. I don't feel like I waited too long for my food, I browsed a little along the walls and sat for a little relaxing and before I knew it my number was being called. I paid and took the food with me and I could feel steam rising out of the bag, that's how fresh the zucchini was. I did not get to take a photo of the zucchini because I ate it the whole way home, and let me tell you that was the most generous size small portion I've ever seen. I love zucchini and these were lightly breaded and nice thick but well cooked cuts of zucchini. When I got home I decided to eat the Honey Turkey Sandwich first, I thought I'm just going to eat half and then put the rest away, but it was so delicious I ended up eating the full sandwich. The bread is a nice soft white roll, and the sandwich is bursting to the brim with all the ingredients. Here I found that the quality was not as good as the sandwich. The tomato-cucumber salad was the right amount of oil/vinegar, the fruit and vegetable were fresh, very solid option. The pesto on pasta shells was underwhelming. I do like me some pesto, but here it was more for visual and aroma than taste. I would try other sides before getting this one again. Lastly, the taste of their Diet Coke was odd. I thought they had given me half and half with regular coke, so I asked for them to pour me a new one, and it ended up tasting the same ‍ Given the variable quality of sides and drinks, I think I would come back primarily for the entree items, and probably evaluate my other preferred sandwich the Meatball.

After seeing a movie, my niece and I stopped in for lunch. Will assisted us, he was very patient…read moreand took time to explain certain menu items to us as well as the reward program which I signed up for. Great customer service, thanks Will! I ordered the Jalapeño burger & stand fries with different dipping sauces. All were very good, my burger was a little on the lukewarm side. My niece had the Mac n cheese, she didn't care for it too much so I got her a plain hotdog, which she liked more. All in all, a chill place to come for lunch, the menu has a little something for everyone.

This is the first time we ate at this location at NoHo West. There is 60 minutes free parking but they do validate for an extra 30 minutes free parking in the structure. We got the ultimate egg burger, grilled cheese with short rib, and fries. The burgers are cooked to order so medium was just perfect. The burger was juicy and filling! It was the right size and tasty. The grilled cheese ended up pretty salty, not sure if it was the bacon jam or the fried onions. We couldn't finish it but when we reheated it later it wasn't as salty. Fries were as expected seasoned just enough that ketchup was not needed but we did ask for some just in case. Ample seating indoors and outdoors. You are not expected to bus your plates but there are well marked trash receptacles. Good meal and decent prices!
