You can see the hair on the BREAKFAST BURRITO
    A'kia S.

I had a very disappointing experience. My burrito was charred, and I found a hair in my food. When I contacted customer service, they initially seemed willing to help but then stopped responding and completely abandoned the conversation. The lack of follow-up was extremely unprofessional. The food is usually good, but finding hair in my meal was already concerning. Management's failure to address the issue or provide reassurance that it would not happen again made matters worse. Unfortunately, I can't continue eating at a restaurant that appears to take food-safety concerns this lightly.

I was a very hungry girl and wanted a breakfast sandwich. My first stop had been a no go and then I discovered Bruxie on my Yelp search. I saw the reviews and photos and I knew I just had to stop by. Thankfully I had read the review about parking because it can definitely be confusing. Parking is street parking and a short walk to the restaurant. I did see a lot up ahead when I initially turned in the driveway but the sign looks like it's meant for a different business. I found parking right before Weddington and walked to Bruxie. On my way a shady character started following me and speaking to me and I power walked to the restaurant to get away. As I turned the corner I was greeted by friendly staff. There is someone behind the window to take orders but also someone outside the window able to take orders as well. After looking at the menu I orderd the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with a side of waffle fries, and also a breakfast burrito with a side of tots (that I planned to eat tomorrow morning). I paid and then waited in the shade of the outdoor seating which has allot of shade and it's a nice area to sit. My food was ready in maybe 15 to 20 minutes and then I walked back to my car as I had to get to my next destination. Unfortunately that shady man was waiting for me and when I rounded the corner he acted like he was ignoring me but then he started following me again!!! I ended up taking advantage of my long legs and I did a long legged power walk back to my car leaving him in the dust. People saw me walking so fast with such long strides and were looking at me like I'm crazy. When I looked back the man was still walking my way staring straight at me but thankfully he can't walk fast to catch up to me. The point of me writing about this is to be careful on this street, keep your eyes on your surroundings and do not get distracted staring at your phone. On my way driving to my destination I started nibbling on the waffle fries and they were so perfect! I don't know how to explain the puffy crunch that comes with them as you bite down. So perfectly crispy yet soft! I then decided to try the tots and they are perfection too! The perfect amount of spice that gives a hint of spicy but it's not overwhelming. I wasn't planning to eat both the fries and the tots but before you know it I arrived at my destination and both were in my belly! I then ate the Nashville chicken sandwich, absolutely delicious and generous portion, I love the taste again spicy but not overwhelming, it was perfect. My only wish is that the chicken could have been a thicker piece of chicken but it was a thin long piece. Other than that it definitely hit the spot. I am looking forward to eating my breakfast burrito tomorrow morning!

We stopped at Bruxie for lunch on our way to Central Library in DTLA. It was easy enough to find on Lankershim as we turned from Magnolia. Where to park wasn't clear to us but it didn't take long to find free street parking a short walk away on Weddington. Ordering at this location is through a walk up window. However today it was fully occupied by a team member handling pick-up orders. There was another team member who seemed to be taking orders as customers walked up, but was also helping with pick ups. This was a bit confusing so we just waited until someone approached us which didn't take long. The husband chose the Bruxie SmashBurger (+ egg), opting to make it a combo with Waffle Fries and soda. I had the Chicken & Waffles. It all came out pretty quickly. The husband said his SmashBurger was fresh, flavorful and perfectly prepared. He loved the waffle fries. My chicken tenders were nicely fried, moist on the inside and seasoned well. The waffle was light and crisp. It all came together with the whipped butter and pure maple syrup -- so good! Service was great. Team members checked on us and refilled drinks. I do appreciate that they have packs of moist towelettes easily available for customers.

My better half and I have walked past Bruxie for the longest time, always telling ourselves that we'll try them one day but never giving them a chance. Thankfully we finally caved in because we've been sleeping on this place for years! It's located off of Lankershim Blvd & Academy Way, basically next to the Laemmle Noho 7 and the Saban Media Center. Bruxie was kind of hard to gauge on how to order - there's a walk-up window for ordering and pick-up orders, but employees can also walk right up to you and place your order for you. You can also order online ahead, so yeah slightly confusing but as long as you put your order in you're golden. They have four big tables outside along with counter seating on the sidewalk. If it gets too hot or cold, they also have seating inside an old train car that is purely counters only. We sat inside the train car, but the only caveat is that people are constantly going in/out and they sometimes leave the door open. They also have a water station inside the train car if you want to cool off. My wife and I both ordered the Kickin' "Nashville" Hot Chicken Sandwich and we shared the Loaded Waffle-Cut Fries. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time - if you're dining there, the employees bring out your food wherever you are and provide plastic utensils along with sauces. The hot chicken sandos live up to their namesake, packing quite a kick! The loaded waffle fries hit the spot. If you're in NoHo looking for some good chicken & waffles, Bruxie will satisfy! We can't wait to come back and try more of their menu! They're open late too if you have some late night cravings (they close at midnight Thurs, Fri & Sat). There's street parking or you can park at the garage of the Saban Media Center.

The crisp on the stand alone waffle fries was remarkable. The crisp on the loaded waffle fries was not as good, but there was a generous amount of cheese and other toppings. Service was NEXT LEVEL friendly. The waitress was super attentive. You order at the window and then go eat in an old dining car. There have been so many restaurants at this location throughout the years that it is truly hard to keep up. This is my favorite one so far. The batter and crunch on the fried chicken waffle sandwich was incredible. Very smart concept. Hands down the best chicken-to-waffle bite ratio in the game. I liked this place. Great cheat meal.

The food here is simply good! I think it's fresh, tastes great, and definitely satisfies chicken cravings. What really sets this place apart for me is the level of service. The staff is SO nice and they make you feel like a person and not a transaction. Kudos to the people who help ring you out up front. Then there is eating in a little train car. I love that repurposed parts of our past exist in our built environment and can be used to make our communities feel unique.

delivery showed up late AND my breakfast burrito had not one, not two, but multiple hard chewy plastic-y pieces hiding in there.. second bite and i'm already doing forensics on my food. I had no choice but to toss the whole thing and that hurt my soul AND my wallet.

Classic chicken and waffles I've combo with a small side of MAC & CHEESE.
    Bianca G.

Guys! If you like food that's crispy, and full of flavor this place is it. Best chicken and waffles I've had in ages. The waffle is crunchy, and the chicken is full of flavor and crunch as well. Their Mac & Cheese felt home made, with better pasta, and really enjoyed their ranch, and honey mustard dips. Great flavored comfort food in a train cart ambiance was definitely a fun experience. Can't wait to go back.

    LEMON CREAM & BERRIES

It's a cozy spot and fun music was playing from the loud speakers. I love that there's opportunity to play games. There was Connect Four, Jenga, and some other games present. It's a nice spot to hang with a group of friends. The service was good. The workers were very friendly. The food that I had was just okay. I had the Green Goddess Grilled Chicken Salad. It definitely looked better than what it actually tasted like. It definitely needs more seasoning. Once salt and pepper were added to it, the salad tasted a little better. The chicken was good in it though. I also had the dessert item, Lemon Cream & Berries. It was pretty yummy. The waffle had a buttery taste. The lemon cream was tasty and the fruit was delish. I'm not sure that I would frequent this spot, but would be open to trying other things on the menu.

    Chicken and waffles.

I have tried their jumbo tenders and their chicken and waffles. This is more of a pick up kind of a place. There are places to sit but it seems most people take their food to go. Their jumbo tenders are solid. I have had them unseasoned, original seasoning, and hot honey. All are delicious. The tenders are moist. Don't let the name fool you. The size are a lil smaller than your typical hot chicken places. Their sauces seem to be mostly based around mustard. Their Bruxie sauce is my favorite. I've had better chili honey sauces from other places. They don't have the typical comeback sauce. I also enjoy their waffle fries. I will take waffle fries over regular fries any day. I love their chicken and waffles. Their waffles are light, soft and crispy. They are so good! My kids love them too. It comes with 2 jumbo tenders. Make sure to ask for Bruxie sauce because it only comes with maple syrup. Definitely recommend!

Excellent grilled chicken sandwich and $5 custard cup. Next time, instead of the waffle fries, I'll do unseasoned tots. Will come again. Service was friendly and everyone as super helpful and nice.

"THE ORIGINAL with a side of waffle fries and the STRAWBERRY "PALMER"
    CB C.

From the moment I walked up to the walk-thru window and was greeted with the warmest welcome by Juan, to the time I was seated on the sunny patio (with ample shade) and met with a refreshing strawberry "Palmer," to when I received my "Original" chicken sandwich with a side of waffle fries and hot honey sauce, everything tasted delicious! Juan provided 5-star customer service and was very knowledgeable walking me through the entire menu. Also, there's plenty of seating inside and outside. I would highly recommend Bruxie to my fellow Angelenos.

    Regine S.

This is my first time ordering from Bruxie; I had heard so much about them, especially their waffle sandwiches Today I took advantage of their specials buy one get one free and it was a breakfast burrito Really good but a little too spicy for me although I had called and she told me did the chipotle, mayo, and the tater tots were not that spicy I should have deleted those two items I will know next time for sure to delete the spicy items Their breakfast burrito is delicious. It's toasted and have eggs, cheddar cheese tots, and chicken sausage...really good. Otherwise, paid $24 for both burritos since it was buy one get one free Next time, I'll try there waffle sandwich

Gorgeous interior, once a train car!

First of all shoutout to Mason and Steven for the great hospitality!…read more I've worked in food before so I'm really against dining at a restaurant when it closes within an 45 minutes or so. We were craving fried chicken sandwiches so bad that I made an exception. We pulled up with 20 minutes left to closing and there was a rush and didn't order until about 5 minutes to closing. Then they actually asked if we would like to dine and were so chill about it. It was or first time here and the hot chicken sando and fries were great! Definitely going back here a lot! After the meal which ended 10 minutes after closing they told us they are really big on taking/making everyone's order and allowing ppl to dine in even with a minute left and I appreciate that so much.

The lighting was low so mad it feel very quaint. For starters we ordered crispy rice w/ spicy tuna. It was so perfect!! So delicious. An order of shrimp tempura. Fried to perfection. The place has a social vibe while still separating tables for privacy and encouraging fun in your particular area. It looks like they have karaoke nights and there are a few screens playing K dramas in the background. Cons: the food. We went at 1 PM and the place was empty so I was super disappointed that each plate we received was not up to par. One of my friends did the shrimp dumpling, which was far too expensive to not have a solid prawn in the middle as most dim sum spaces do. Instead, the dumpling was filled with minced shrimp and it taste mostly of egg at that price point you expected to taste protein before filler. I had the minced pork and rice which was overwhelmingly, salty and inedible. Quite frankly I saved it for the next day to see if my husband who is assault fanatic would say anything and even she thought it was inedible. I believe they poured a half bottle of soy sauce and my protein alone. One of my friends had the kimchi fried rice and she said it was decent. Finally we had the Korean fried chicken which they refused to split flavors on, and I could respect that if it had been any busier. But with us being the only one seated it kind of didn't make sense. I wanted to get a feel of the flavors in general to see which I should order for the next time.. be warned the chicken is sweet! Not the sauce, but the chicken itself has been marinated in some type of cinnamon sugar recipe. That is not familiar to me when I think about Korean fried chicken. That day, my friends and I giggled that this place was not as authentic as we had experienced driving down to kTown. It definitely felt like a "valley" version of Korean food. We even discussed giving them the benefit of the doubt that this could be a difference regionally that we had not experienced before. All of my concerns were confirmed the next day when I reheated the food in an attempt to give it a second chance with a fresh pallet. None of the leftovers were even edible. Finally, nothing is more annoying than a server who claims that the bill cannot be split any other way, but 50/50. It's 2026 and all back end systems allow split bills. Once again, this is understandable during peak hours, but it would have benefited the server to take two more minutes to try to figure out his system. This should be part of your server training. It seems he had plenty of time to learn since the place was so empty and in fact, my friend and I joked that we would be happy to teach him as we are familiar with industry standards. That's not to seem cocky, but given your location in noho the majority of your guests have food service experience as struggling actors etc. This is not the type of review that I enjoy leaving, but in hopes that one less small business is shut down take note

We have one being built in my city but lord knows when it will be done. So I have a choice between this location and the one in Northridge. I'd last visited the Northridge location (so that was visit 2 in a week) and so this newest visit on a Sat afternoon I figured the drive would be easier (less traffic) going back to the Noho location. My food quality definitely suffered this time. $60 and a not so long of a wait (no more than 10 minutes) food was tightly packaged and we were on our way. 20-30 minute drive back home. Excited to at least have the fries hot. Knowing these fries are better than Angry Chicks which id also had recently during this crave fest. But they weren't as good as Dave's so I'm back at Dave's. BUT. Soon as we get in the car and rip into our order. Fries are so cold. Dang near starting to petrify they'd started to become hard (makes me think what they do to your stomach if you don't bowel asap!). We had driven all the way down, waited and wanted to ensure we beat traffic back so we just kept the order without going right back in. It wasn't busy at all. When we'd arrived they only had 1 other patron and he was sitting already eating. What it appears is they aren't dropping fries last. The star is the chicken, we get it, but don't have the fries already plated while taking extra time and care to ensure the chicken is perfect. I want my fries piping fresh and hot. And they weren't.
