Remarkable ambiance that adds to the dining experience. Perfect for date night, initiate dining, and family style eating. Amor A Mi is almost a hole in the wall for its delicious chilaquiles and Mexican brunch. I loved their matcha and coffee varieties, I'll have to come back to try the rest of their drink menu. I got the French toast and the brioche was exquisite! The strawberries and mascarpone were perfect touches to the meal. The staff were kind and just lovely. Highly recommend !

Not worth the 30 min wait to get our food. Decent breakfast sandwich & okay French toast. My family really liked their rib eye and barbacoa tacos but I would not come back again; their menu is super limited & service takes too long even when they're not busy. Overhyped in my opinion.

Ambience- perfect! It's so lovely here. It's such a warm and inviting space if you want to bring a friend or friends while yet still being peaceful enough to come by yourself and enjoy a quiet rose latte! I've had their rose latte a bunch. It's very good. I highly recommend it. I also had the tortitas de papa. I've never had this dish before but like the description and it was delicious. I'd get it again. Service was friendly and familial but in a familial-professional way. This is a gem of a find and I look forward to spending more of my money here.

This beautiful restaurant is a gem! The decor is fabulous. There is so much attention to detail. Great for any occasion, but I came for breakfast. The staff was accommodating and very helpful. We had the chicken Chilaquiles and the steak and barbacoa tacos. Both were fabulous! I can't wait to come back and try different dishes. The parking is street parking.

What a cozy and delicious meal! Came here for brunch on a Sunday. Everything was top tier from the latte to the french toast to the chilaquiles! Highly recommend both but if you're feeling something sweet go for the french toast and if you want savory go for the chilaquiles. The were perfectly crispy! Would absolutely recommend this place for a date, for a brunch with the girlies, you name it! There is a bar, some tables inside and two tables outside. Pro tip: this place gets hella busy but they do reservations - yay! So make sure to get one for the weekend! Parking was easy as I parked in one of the neighborhood streets nearby. It was two hour parking.

This was a great experience for comfort mexican food with modern twist! Service was excellent, kind friendly staff, and beautiful modern yet comfortable warm ambiance. Tacos: Huitlacoche - the kernels were good but mixed in with sweet corn was too sweet. I tasted more sweet corn than mushroom or huitlacoche, beans were good! Not spicy, could use a spicy salsa Chicharrón - excellent Shrimp - fresh, but too much cream sauce! The taco fell apart, more fresh condiments like cilantro and onions would have been nice vs so much sauce Barbacoa - it was good, but needed lemon, cilantro and onions! Birria especially goat or lamb is best served with fresh squeezed lemon and fresh condiments on the side for the palette's desire. Salsas and chips - fresh chips! Green salsa was good, red salsa had a flavor we couldn't pinpoint, canned chipotle maybe? Not our favorite. Tlayuda - not traditional, but the crunchy cheese layer was fun! We enjoyed it and would order one more for the table next time. Excellent and fresh Homemade Flour tortilla - yum! Homemade Corn Tortilla - a little dry, not too flavorful. Hopes for the future: I wish there could be a green salad, fish option, or other unique veggie sides like nopales, verdolagas, or mushrooms en chile that Mexican cuisine has to offer! Either way looking forward to trying lunch menu

Such a cute spot, the chilaquiles are delicious. I highly recommend a coffee date as the atmosphere is perfect. The service was quick and efficient.

Once again I saw this restaurant on my socials and I definitely had to stop in and try it for myself. I was not disappointed whatsoever. I was greeted with smile and a warm welcome. Very refreshing these days. The restaurant is very clean from the dining room to the restrooms.. The staff was so kind ,accommodating and very attentive. The variety of food is nice. The service was quick. The food was served at the right temperature. Everything ordered tasted fresh and delicious. I had a great experience overall. The pricing and the portions are reasonable. I will definitely come back again.

Mexican matcha (oat milk and palo santo) Light taste and refreshing Chilaquiles with green sauce delicious. We set outside. Even with the cars driving by it was very pleasant and relaxing. Friendly and relaxed service. No rush.

Great food, service and ambience! The place is too cute and the tacos were fancy but soooo good. My favorite were the steak and the shrimp but the waitress said try the octopus next time. Definitely nice people you're happy to invest in.

I was in Burbank and wanted some breakfast that wasn't right next to the mall, this was the perfect spot! It was pretty busy so without a reservation we waited about 25 mins for a table of 2. I got the breakfast sandwich without chimichurri and it was absolutely delicious! It had thick cut bacon and lots of avocado. I also got a Mexican coke and it was just the perfect meal. There's a good amount of seating inside but the place isn't huge, very cute and cozy. There's also two tables out on their patio for dining as well, making it dog friendly!

I was looking for some chilaquiles around the area and stumbled upon this cafe. I got chilaquiles verdes with carne asada added. Maybe the best chilaquiles I've had! The chips were freshly made and super crunchy. The green sauce was in the spicier side, but I still really enjoyed it! The steak is cooked medium and was very tender. The service was awesome. They kept checking up to see if we were ok. It does get busy and reservations are highly recommended. I will definitely be back!

I've been wanting to try this place out ever since it opened. I'm Mexican and I'm always searching for restaurants that have authentic flavors. As soon as I saw huitlacoche tacos on their menu, I knew I had to go. The inside was bigger than I expected with quite a few tables and plenty of bar seating. It would be a great place for a date or to have a conversation with friends. I love it when restaurants aren't deafening loud. I ordered the chips and salsa which was a generous serving and included both green and red salsas, a jamaica, a huitlacoche taco and their tlayuda norteña (skirt steak with veggies). Loved the salsa, especially the spicier green one but both lacked salt. The huitlacoche taco was tasty. The skirt steak was okay. The meat wasn't very tender, the entire plate also lacked salt. Also, it was served without a knife to help cut into the whole thing. I wouldn't order this again. Overall, I enjoyed my food and my time here and I'll probably be back. I'd love to try some of their breakfast items which all look and sound lovely.

Saturday morning review*…read more There was alot of people waiting at 10am but within 30 mins we were called into the patio. Seated & had a question for the waiter, but she was unsure, said she'd be back with the answer and disappeared for 15-20 mins and came back with no info, she had forgot what I had asked her. It was a simple question, just asked if they still had the Birria quezadillas, she had said yes & I asked for the price becus I couldn't find it on the menu, thats when she said she'd find out the price and didn't return for a long awhile. Then when she came back she forgot and just said "they dnt sell um anymore" She seemed disconnected and so unsure. A waiter should know the menu & what is discontinued. Or at the least find out and return quickly with the info, not take long and come back having forgot to even find out. But ok, no problem we just got our drinks and the café de Olla was good. The food arrived and the rice stood out more than the Chilaquiles. The pancakes were small for the price & didnt have much flavor, once the toppings were gone the pancakes were bland. Came here becus I saw comments online, but I dont think I'd go back, there are many other places with outstanding food & service. The Mexican rice & Café de olla were the standouts of the meal. If you live nearby I could see this being a good place to enjoy a meal, but to come in from farther out isn't worth the drive.

When that question comes up, one of my absolute favorite Mexican cuisine spots to recommend is Javier's. It's one of those places that consistently delivers a great experience every time I go. The ambience at Javier's is perfect whether you're planning a date night or just an evening out with your family. It has a warm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to sit back and enjoy your time there. On top of that, the drinks always hit the spot and pair really well with the food, making the whole dining experience feel complete and well thought out. My go-to dish has to be the seafood enchiladas. You really can't go wrong with any of the options, but those stand out every time. The texture of the enchiladas is spot on, and the salsa complements the dish perfectly without overpowering it. Every bite feels balanced and flavorful, and it's one of those meals you find yourself craving again soon after. I also always make sure to grab the guacamole because, honestly, who doesn't love chips and guac? What I really appreciate is that this guac is different from the typical versions you find elsewhere--it has a freshness and flavor that really sets it apart. It's simple, but done at a high level, and it pairs perfectly with everything else on the table. The service at Javier's is always high-quality, and that's a big reason I keep coming back. The staff is attentive, friendly, and makes the whole experience even better. I still find myself wanting to try new items on the menu because every visit has been such a great experience so far, and I'm excited to see what I discover next.

We were greeted and seated. Our waiter Armando, took our drink, appetizers and entre orders. We were eating our appetizers ceviche and guacamole that I ended up eating with a fork because we'd run out of chips we were waiting so long. Armando returned to our table and asked if we're ready to order? We explained we'd already ordered. He left and we waited. My husband had to flag him down and he'd still forgotten to put our order in. So not once, but TWICE our order was mishandled. My husband is a gentleman and did not want me to express my frustration. By this point we'd waited so long the lunch shift turned into dinner staff (literally) and our table was handed over. The new waiter apologized profusely for the error. They brought out my plate, steak picado and ate my meal alone while my husband and friend waited. I noticed the table next to us was having an issue and the table in front of us was having an issue with their orders. Our complete order finally arrives and my husband and friend's enchiladas are tough to eat. We ask for the check, The waiter was embarrassed to tell us all checks over $200 automatically add I believe add 20% gratuity (it may be higher). Understand we always tip well, but they should've considered the experience we'd just had. Last thing and the ultimate reason for leaving this review in hopes someone in management watches the many many many visually clear cameras in their beautiful establishment. Before we left I veered to.the restroom. I did not know where the restroom was located so I asked our waiter and he said down that way and to the right As I was walking past a table, a very large size man says to me in a very rude voice "can I help you?" I realized they were having maybe a management meeting of two men and one woman. I am not sure who he thought he was talking to or why he took that tone with me, but there is no excuse and I was completely taken back. I asked for the restroom and he pointed towards the other side. This is NOT hospitality or how to treat a guest in your establishment regardless of the day he was having. He needs to learn etiquette. At some point when things are going so badly with customers one of the waiters should've addressed it to the manager. There is a very clear lack of communication and operational problems and the staff was frustrated with each other. Not everyone is there just for drinks. Our waiter continuously served drinks at the bar instead of tending to his tables. Including parking we spent over $300 on a casual lunch for 3 with no alcohol that was simply horrendous. Just to be clear it is not about the amount of money. It's about our time and experience.

She never even checked up on us or asked if we needed anything else. If you can't handle being a server why even work as one? Simple as that. Lots of garage parking nearby but it's not cheap either. Service was the highlight of the night. Our waitress made sure to ask about any allergies and preferences upfront, guided us through the menu and checked in on us just enough. The Manager even stopped by to make sure everything was all right. We had a couple of drinks: spicy margarita, guava margarita & an old fashioned, all great. Cocktails are pricey though, they start at $25. The chips and salsa were good, but the salsa wasn't spicy at all. Not the largest portions for the price but the quality of the food makes up for it. For our appetizer, we went with the queso fundido topped with onions, mushrooms, chorizo and chipotle chiles; though it could use more chorizo and a touch of salt. The presentation was lacking for a queso fundido, it should be served in a skillet or molcajete so it stays warm and easy to eat. For our main course, we went with the angus braised short rib in negro sauce. The short rib was tender and delicious. The negro sauce was nutty, Smokey and complex. Easily our favorite dish of the night. The food we had was very good, though not the most traditional Mexican food. It feels more like Mexican cuisine tailored for a broader American palate. That said, everything feels intentional and executed. Great spot for drinks, a business lunch, dinner with friends and family or a date night.
