When I arrived I came with my fur baby so I opted to wait for a table outside which didn't take long. There was plenty of space inside however for respect for others if I had to bring my pup I try to keep him away from others food. Once our table was ready it was not that long of a wait we sat on the benches outside. It's a cool vibe nothing special this is located in a grocery store parking lot so there was plenty traffic moving along the parking lot but nothing to complain about. The only negative so far was the wait time for service, once seated were given utensils and we wait for 20 plus minutes before we got up to ask if we were to place an order inside. Eventually someone came out to take our order and our drinks were brought out not long after that. I put my timer on and it took exactly (11:20) for our food to arrive. Which was fast, I had the crepes with strawberries and Nutella. This was a doughy crepe not over the top but enough for one to get full, this crepe wasn't overly sweetened and it was the perfect thickness. Which was my reason for getting them. I get full easy but and I wanted something that wouldn't go to waste. If you're a light eat like myself this is the perfect portion and meal choice. Over all it was decent my eggs came as just as I asked the bacon was thick cut and perfectly cooked it wasn't under cooked nor over cooked. I came here after canvassing friends on the destination spot for waffles in LA. Bea Bea's did not disappoint - I had the Anton Likes This (strawberries, whipped cream and nutella) and it hit the craving. Definitely worth the price, and the serving is huge so great for sharing! On the service and ambiance, this is where this place disappointed me. We sat outside, didn't get attended to for 10 minutes (only for a drink order) and then another 10 minutes for our food order to be put in. It was clear by the rotation of different folks that they were understaffed and no one was assigned the outside seating area. I had a visible spot at the hostess, who was audibly rude to her colleagues, stressed by the high volume of guests. For a Sunday morning, I don't think it's a surprise to anyone, let alone the staff, that it would be busy; so to hear the staff raise their voice at each other about who is sitting where, well, that just puts off. People have raved for years about this establishment for a while and I know on weekends it's tough to get a table without waiting a while. Probably because they have an amazing selection of pancakes, waffles and crepes with lots of toppings. Today, I had poached eggs, chicken breast, hash browns , toast and coffee. Chicken breast was dry AF, eggs were good, hash browns were standard and the brewer coffee is weak AF. I asked for an expresso shot just to get a bit of coffee flavor. I can think of three places in Burbank who do standard breakfast better. But, if you want speciality pancakes, crepes or waffles , this is a place for you. Met up with a friend here and it was a good experience. Heard about it before. Was on my radar but then just forgot about it. I don't live close but was in the area so it seems as it was meant to be. My husband and I walked in to Bea Bea's around 8:15 on a weekday and were seated right away. The parking is a big lot that the restaurant shares with several other stores, and was very easy to find. We decided to split the volcano scramble and matcha pancakes. The scramble was very good! I liked the mix of ingredients and the tortilla strips added a nice crunchy texture. I have been wanting to try this café for quite a while as I've been passed it quite a bit had a pleasure of stopping by today as they were closing, and I felt so bad with the staff was super kind and attentive. They seated me even though they were closing in 30 minutes which I really really appreciate it since I hadn't eaten all day! Overall, their menu had a good variety! We went around 11 and there was just a little 15 minute wait. I ordered the Volcano Scramble with Chicken and no tortilla strips, and a Thai tea latte. She ordered pancakes and eggs and bacon. The aesthetics of the place is plain but it is bustling with people. Took over 10 minutes for the waiter to take our order. I love Bea Bea's and their pancake selection. Go early to get a table because they tend to have a line. It has a huge parking lot since it is in a shopping center. We sat outside and it did take a while to get serviced. But once the waiter came he tended to us promptly. A lot of people love the matcha pancakes but they are ok for me. Wonderful little coffee shop in Burbank. The place gets crowded so plan accordingly. We were a party of 4, so it wasn't difficult seating us. Even though it was a packed house, the staff hustle is real and we never felt neglected. The food is tasty with a big menu- mainly breakfast, but there are some lunch items as well. My wife and I split the Big Breakfast Burrito. It lives up to its name! Even splitting it, we still couldn't eat it all. Our friends had pancakes and French Toast. They said the dishes were very good. And they looked good. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the pricing on some of their items felt too high. Had a quick breakfast stop at this place after a local recommended it! There was no wait, it was spacious and clean. There is outdoor seating which we preferred since the weather was amazing! The waitress was kind and provided us a high chair and kids plate for our daughter. Bea Bea's is Breakfast! This continuous top notch Burbank spot has some of the best early morning eats and sips in LA, and absolutely top tier in the San Fernando Valley. I've been coming here for year, even celebrating birthdays, including my own for brunch with friends, loved ones and colleagues. You can almost always expect a wait on weekends from 8am (when they open) until just before they close at 2:30pm. Open 7 days a week for breakfast, brunch and lunch this Pass Avenue spot is definitely one you want to try. Family-Owned - serving up vibrance, excitement, quality and casual experiences to any and all. They definitely stay busy, but that doesn't take away from their service in any way. I've been lucky enough to enjoy the Blue Hawaiian, Banana PB Crunch (hold the cream) and Pacific Island pancakes (vegan versions, as they offer) a few times among many other items like the The Vegan Wrap, Tofu Salad, Veggie Sausage, Veggie Chorizo and super sides to name a few. I remember them having a veggie (garden) burger at some point (which seems to be no longer available). The do offer a Grilled Portobello Sandwich which is vegetarian, but can be made vegan. You can have your pick of pancakes, waffles, french toasts, crepes, omelettes, burritos, quesadillas, sandwiches, burgers, salads, wraps, scrambles, frittatas, egg concoctions, "the good stuff (huge plate combos)" and more. At Bea Bea's they aim to please so you can substitute as needed, especially to accommodate any restrictions with the exception of their Win's Sunlight special and Jacinda's First Blush which are both clearly labeled with the "no... substitutions" on their extensive menu. At one point they used Yelp Reservations which was a dream, but you still had to be there in order to put your name on the list. Or at least someone from your party. For beverages it's quite a lot from juice to coffee to tea, soft drinks/soda/pop, still or sparkling water to #QuenchYourThirst - Bea Bea's doesn't serve any drinks with alcohol (though I'd imagine if they ever did/do in the future it would mostly be a beer and wine type place). You can find B.B.'s in the Vons parking lot with other gems like the Nail Garden, Fantastic Sam's, The Roguelike Tavern, select small businesses and popular chains. Additionally they have a sibling location in Glendale that open in 2019, that is pretty okay, but nothing beats the original that's been serving up good food and good times since 2008 in the 818. Q Tips: It's a bit intimate, though spacious at the same time with many of the tables and chairs spaced to allow room for you, your table and the servers, but not more else, especially on a Saturday or Sunday morning. They now charge $2 extra for vegan or gluten free pancakes (which are incredible) as well as $3.50 extra for real maple syrup. A huge amount of parking between their shared lot and local street parking. You can enter from Pass off the street or through the main parking lot entrance which also is stairs free. Omg the Thai Tea Pancakes are literally a heavenly experience. I don't know how they were able to get such perfect thai tea flavor and the thai tea whipped cream that comes with it is ridiculously good. Food wise, I got the matcha pancakes (very tasty, big portions that is good to share and may be too much for just 1 person), Thai tea (it was pretty standard so not much to write about), and the loco moco (I wanted to try this as it is not on many menus, but it was a bit disappointing. The gravy was good and the eggs were cooked well, but the patties were dry and the cilantro did not go as well with everything as I thought it would).
