Street parking. Friendly staff. Fresh and organic. I got the coconut with berries one day old and it was still fresh! I got the avocado toast which i added salmon too and they allowed. Its one of the best salmon/avocado toast i have had close second to what a peach! This cute store so close from work i am soooo glad i was introduced to it!

Little Nelly absolutely blew us away once again We had them cater our baby shower, and our guests were obsessed with the food. Everything was so fresh, super delicious, and packaged so neatly. People kept coming up to me asking, "Where is this from?!" I was so happy to share this little Burbank gem with everyone. And honestly, the service was just as amazing as the food. There was a small mix-up with the type of buns for one of the sandwiches, and the owner was so sweet about it. They offered to personally drive to Ktown to drop off the correct ones at no charge. Who does that anymore? Little Nelly has my whole heart. I'll be recommending them to everyone. They made our baby shower feel extra special!

    Frittata
    April F.

We were looking forward to trying out this adorable place. It is definitely adorable and sells so many gems. Everything looked so wonderful. We chose The frittata, a beautiful biscuit and a Kouign Aman. We waited a few minutes for things to be warmed. The frittata was beautiful but surprising loose under the cheesy topping. Not sure if this is a French style frittata but I'm not comfortable with a heavy cream sauce at the bottom of my frittata. The biscuit was okay. The clerk called something we eyed in the case a Kouign Aman when we inquired but then called it a morning bun when she handed to us after being heated. It was neither. If you are looking for a cute shop to find a unique collection of cookbooks, books and gifts give Little Nelly's a look.

    The brownie. Too cakey.

Blink and you will miss it. Looks more like a production office from the outside than the sophisticated market, bakery, restaurant and shop that it is. When you walk in, there is a very curated market with gifts. But I was here for lunch. I had the tuna sandwich. It's a sleek, compact little sandwich. At first, I was concerned about the amount of tuna that was in it. But it was amazing and the proportions really worked. All of the cookies look like they are made with white sugar. They just have that look and I didn't want any of them. I ordered the brownie. It was very cakey and not fudgy enough for me. They probably use too much flour not enough chocolate. The woman who helped me was not sweet. All in all, it's a great little shop and I would definitely go back for a sandwich and some gifts. I do think their bakery could use some reworking.

    Salmon toast
    Katerina K.

Really cute and quaint little shop. Super curated products. The coffee is amazing and the food is really really good. Salmon toast was 5 stars. Only issue is that I was there early morning when it wasn't busy and had to wait 20 minutes for a toast and I saw in other reviews that it takes long as well. I recommend ordering ahead since there isn't room to sit anywhere.

Every time I come here I love it more and more! 1/2 off baked goods from 2pm-3pm There is always something good to eat, drink, and fun gifts to buy! Still wish they could add some seating, somewhere outside maybe?

    Farro salad & cake price
    Ally B.

Delicious farro salad and desserts! I originally was going to get a sandwich but once I read the description of the Farro salad, the flavors sounded perfect for a light, yet satisfying lunch. The greens were fresh and gave a nice bite. The lemon dressing was bright and tasty, and the harissa flavored farro with garbanzo beans tasted great together. The browned butter walnut cake with espresso maple glaze was SOOO good! Dense, moist, perfect texture, almost like a banana bread. Delicious to have some bites after lunch. Good portion that I was able to split with someone too! Such a cute lunch spot with lots of things to "window shop"! Cute, unique cards, cookbooks, seasonal themed tea towels, you name it. Would go again!

    11:11 bite!

Upon entering there are shopping carts and baskets. Take a rolling one (trust me) and get ready for a wonderful store filled with food stuffs that will make you swoon. The neatly stacked shelves are filled with things like chocolate, jam, pasta, tinned seafood, chips, and pasta are all neatly organized. Tags indicating country of origin (largely from Europe) are helpful. There are refrigerators full of charcuterie, cheese, and French butter. Freezers have ready to bake breads and pastries from a bakery in Canada. It's actually quite overwhelming (in a very good way), if you don't know what you need. You'll definitely see lots of things you want. The people that work here seem happy and are very helpful. When we were looking at chips, one of the employees shared his favorites. The best part of the visit was meeting the owner. He was enthusiastic and extremely informative! He told us that everything in the store was sampled and scrutinized for taste and quality. He knew everything about the products and why they were sourced. He helped me find a delicious arbequina olive oil from Italy and tins of sardines packed it butter. Swoon. By the end of our visit my basket was full! While the items here are pricey I truly think that the quality is worth it. Parking is plentiful and conveniently located just outside. The store is clean and well organized. Bring your own reusable shopping bags because you'll need it for all the wonderful goodies. Definitely returning! Eric is a master Jedi and was so thoughtful, energetic, detailed and soooooo fun with his descriptions, guidance and suggestions. I am was so so happy to hear that that this place is extending its square footage as well. (Thank you Eric for sharing and showing us the new space!). I don't know what to say. You just have to go. Imagine yourself in some great food adventure and you enter a vast other wordly cathedral filled with gems and golden treasure. That's Epicurus Gourmet. I've been in LA for well over three decades and its rare that I am frozen in my footsteps when walking into a new spot - but this place did it. A vast Disneyland of tinned fish, butters, pastas, meats, chocolate, spices, so so much more. Honestly, for anyone passionate about food and cooking, it may make you cry visiting this spot. Perfection. Go. Many thanks to Eric and the entire staff for making our first visit with you wildly memorable and deeply enjoyable. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Soooooooooo glad you are nearby!

Unfortunately, this is the only place where I got scammed! Asked multiple times & made sure the person at the meat section understood that I want goat feet, not lamb. Found out those were lamb feet when my whole house started to smell. Waste of not only those feet, also loads of spices. Asked if they have goat vuri (tripe), he said yes & gave me nari (small intestines). I had no idea a Bangladeshi store would even carry those. Trashed after thawing. Because it was a chunk of iceberg when he cut those & I had no idea. He knew clearly what I was looking for & yet sold me that junk for a lot of money. It is totally unacceptable & immoral to scam anyone (forget fellow Bangladeshi). Not only they lost a potential customer, but also now they have this review & I'll make sure to inform everyone I know to avoid this place. So many other Bangladeshi stores around there to choose from (I won't name any so it doesn't look like I'm either promoting or trying to denounce this place to help any other stores around). I hope they realize their mistakes & start fresh with better business ethics.

The owner is incredibly sweet, and her son is the chef. You can really feel the care and pride they put into the food, and it shows in every bite. I love the variety they offer as a deli, and everything I have tried so far has been delicious. On top of that, the value is unbeatable. You could also order the succulent lobster roll at $35 (worth every penny) but we come for Nori Nights, every Thursday to Saturday, with two seatings a night to enjoy moreish handrolls with luxurious fillings like caviar and sea urchin. The ambience of the "hidden" restaurant is inviting and lush, with vintage charm and whimsy, like a posh speakeasy. So we decided to book and eat here for my birthday. I ordered the meatloaf and explained to my waitress that I had a mushroom allergy, and to please make sure that they took the mushrooms off. They brought my food out and after a 2 bites, I noticed that they were mushrooms. My husband immediately got somebody, and they hurried up and remade it. Again, I get maybe halfway through my meal and tasted something, spit it out and again it was mushrooms. I looked through my meal again, and found two small mushrooms. At this point, I just refuse to eat it anymore, notified our waitress. When I returned back to my hotel room, I had to take Benadryl as I started breaking out in hives.. the only thing that the establishment did was Credit my dish and give me a dessert which I was no longer hungry at that point! I had already started to feel sick! I took one bite! I can kind of understand the mistake the first time, but if someone has an allergy, they should definitely make sure that they don't even screwed up the first time. The fact that they screwed it up a second time is completely unacceptable, especially since it was my birthday and it ruined everything. The whole meal should've been comped not just my meal and a free dessert! The fact that I had to come back and take Medicine and deal with hives on my birthday is just completely upsetting! No, I would not come back and no, I would not want to give them another chance, especially with having an allergy! I would, however, like to be refunded what I paid into this evening! We've ate at the Orlando one and I can't tell you what a huge difference in customer service it was! I would not recommend this establishment, especially if you have an allergy.
